This case fits my Canon A1000IS like a glove, but it's not bulky, even though it's very sturdy and well-made. No storage, but I bought it for my "little" camera that fits in my coat pocket, no attachments or extra lenses, and don't need extra storage. The bigger camera gets a bigger case with storage. I can't believe how well-made this is for such a small amount of money.

Note: this is not a "hard" case as in metal or hard plastic. It's a sturdy, nicely-padded hard "soft" case, if that makes sense. You can't fold or squish it like a regular soft case, it's stiff, but it's not padded metal that's what you're looking for. I had one like that once for another camera, that's why I mention it.

Nice case IF you do not want/need a belt loop. There is no way to carry this case unless you strap it around your neck or have suitably baggy pants that allow you to store the case in your pants pockets. The case will not fit into regular Levis pockets.

Try to stuff a full frame DSLR in the Day Holster and it won't close. When you pull it out, the lens cap stays behind. I have a CANON 5D Mark III and the flap won't even come across to the other side when you try to shut the top of the Day Holster. This bag is more for the lower end Rebel SLR cameras and otherwise smaller SLR bodies. It would have been nice had Case Logic stated that it couldn't accommodate the full frame DSLRs and I would have expected such caveats and it was probably why I didn't bother to compare the dimensions.

Bought this case after going through quite a few other cases and backpacks to hold our Canon t3i. Found that backpacks and sling bags may work great for hiking and getting your camera to a place where you are going to be taking pictures but not taking many pictures along the journey.

It was really nice to have the larger outer case to hold extra lenses, charger, memory cards, etc. and the camera in the protective sleeve. That got us from home to our destination, then when we were walking around we were able to keep the camera in the protective sleeve/holster and use the camera strap for easy access to any quick snap scenario we may have encountered. (We have a 1 year old so they are plentiful!)

It takes a long time to get the camera in and out of some of the other cases we tried and with the ability to hang the holster from the strap while you are taking pictures then just slide the camera back in and move on, this case has proved to be the best we have found.

I can see if you have quite a bit of gear (lenses, external flash, etc) this case may fall short on storage, but our setup with a 18-135mm zoom lens attached and a 55-250mm as a rare use lens, this case was leaps and bounds better than others we tried.

I bought this for my Nikon D5100. The case is very well built and looks pretty cool. It's nice that it does'nt advertise what's inside like "NIKON" or "CANON" on the outside. No point in giving potential thieves too much information. The case itself holds the camera securely and provides ample padding for any bumps that may occur. I'm not sure what would happen it were dropped though. It does have a solid plastic bottom that is nice for setting the bag down without it tipping over or getting wet from puddles or wet grass. The side pouches are big enough for a couple of extra lenses and hoods. The front pouch will hold small accessories and the rear pouch is good for thin items like lens pens and cleaning cloths. The inner pouch has a removable case that can stay with the camera. It's nice for shielding the camera from mist or dust. It has a loop for attaching it to the camera strap but this is a little awkward when taking pictures. It's best just to take it totally off the camera and store it in the case when taking photos.

Like any other camera bag, fit it going to depend upon your gear. For me, this is a great bag to go hiking with and keep everything securely in place. My Nikon D7000 with 18-105mm lens fit perfectly in the main compartment. There are two side slots for additional lenses/flashes, however, what you decide to put in these compartments will matter. I found that when I have my camera packed, along with a 50mm prime and 10-20mm wide angle, it's a bit difficult to get the lenses out as it's a rather right fit. The prime lens is small and it sits down further making it difficult to get out without removing the camera first. However, if you're using a smaller DSLR, say a 3100/5100 or the Canon Rebels, you won't have a problem at all fitting two lenses in comfortably. This is why I gave this 4 out of 5 stars. It really depends on your camera. If you have a larger DSLR, I really wouldn't plan on having the room to carry two additional lenses, so the description is somewhat misleading.

I love the fact that this has a separate sleeve for your camera. I was going to buy one anyhow and it's nice that it's included in this.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This camera bag is built to hold a camera and two extra lenses. There is also a small compartment up front for a charger or what-not and a mesh zippered area on the back. It's definitely sturdy but a little bigger than I had hoped. At first the bulk stopped me from using it for day-trips, but it's perfect for longer trips when you need a little bit more with you. The inner sleeve is nice if you want it it adds extra protection while the camera is in the bag and pops out and can protect your camera if you're just taking that on the go. Obviously, it's meant for a bigger lens, actually, the whole bag is set up for someone with larger lenses (it easily holds my Canon 24-70mm, 100mm macro, and a 70-300mm zoom), but it will be too small to hold the longest zooms, and if you're carting around a 35mm or 50mm prime, you're wasting a lot of space.

Once again, it's outstanding feature is it's ruggedness. The zippers are strong, the nylon fabric is tough, and the bottom is made of stiff soft-touch plastic that should make it ok for setting down on damp surfaces. There's a cushioned handle and a shoulder strap as well. The strap is actually the weak link here, as its's thin and the pad slides around a lot, but it's hardly a deal-breaker.

1) It uses a zip function compared to the velcro used by both the J1 and J2 (event photographers will not need to worry about the sound that the velcro makes)

2) There are compartments inside the pouch for memory cards and batteries, on top of the main compartment for the phone.

3) It attaches super easily to my Blackrapid strap, and at the same time, providing you with the added space for your small items.

I am using this in conjunciton with my RS-7 strap for my 60D. It easily holds a spare battery and a couple memory cards. It stays on the strap securely and doesn't seem to add any noticeable bulk or get in the way when the strap slides out of position. My personal preference for cell phones is 4"+ screen size so this is tight for those, especially since you'll probably want that spare battery in there. At $15-$18 I would have given 5-star still, but at over $20 it lacks the value for that last star.

If know you are going to buy a Joey and are just considering which one and your only concern is with adding weight/bulk I would just get the J3, it's barely noticeable on there and you get the extra space.

Like all the Blackrapid products I've tried, the Joey 3 is well-made out of quality materials. I have the RS-7 strap, and thought it would be helpful to have some extra storage for batteries and memory cards. The Joey 3 is big enough to fit several of those and more easily, but with one crucial flaw: once you put stuff inside of it, it makes the strap so heavy that it will slide off your shoulder when you lift your camera to your face. This happened so often that I was forced to remove it from the strap 10 minutes into shooting a wedding. I probably won't be putting it back on unless I pick up the extra strap attachment that goes under your arm.

Fortunately, the straps on the back of the Joey 3 seem fairly versatile, so I might be able to attach it to my belt or camera bag instead.

It's a very cute leather case for NEX-5 with 18-55mm lens. Friends commented on it being fashionable and unique.

Two issues I have with this case:

1) as another reviewer pointed out, in order to change the battery, you would have to remove the case.

2) The top part of the case is giving a very good protection of the camera, but the bottom part underneath the lens is rather soft.

I would have given it 5 stars if it were easier to change the battery.

But it is a very pretty case and item arrives in good condition.

This is the kind of case that I would use for going out on a trip, good for frequent use in a short time. But I would not put it in a carry-on in an overhead bin or a bag with uneven items inside.

Received the item on time. However, once opened the package saw multiple area with yellow stain on the white leather.

Doesn't seems like easy to clean off, and felt it's an used product that was resold to me.

But overall, the case is fantastic. I took a star off if it wasn't the yellow stains.

Beautiful, well constructed. It fit my Sony NEX 5 like a glove. After using it a few times I've taken the case off and put it away. The top piece is a little cumbersome and you have to fully remove the case to take out the batter and card. This is perfect though for traveling or anytime you know your camera is going to be in danger of crowds dings, etc.

My Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX20 fits perfectly inside of this case. I like that it is a hard shell case because it feels like the camera is more protected. The inside has soft lining to protect the huge touch screen on the camera and the inside also has a small mesh pocket. I haven't really found any use for the pocket but it's nice to know it's there if I need it. So, overall I am happy with the case and would recommend it for a similar camera.

This is a lot bulkier than I expected it to be. I upgraded my camera so I would be able to take it with me everywhere I went because it is small enough to do so. This case is extremely sturdy, but it is much larger than it needed to be. My camera would be floating around in there if it didn't have a strap to hold it in. I really don't understand why the made it so large when the cameras it is supposed to accommodate are so small. If you don't mind the bulk of it, it is a good case. The color is awesome and I guess you could double it as a wallet if you were traveling... There is plenty of space in it for extra stuff.

I have a very similar type case for my magellen roadmate and have never had any problems. Never dropped either item but so far so good. ;) Since I'm not prone to dropping things, the cases serve more as scratch-guards for my tech-lovlies. The edges of the material are rounded and hard enough so you shouldn't have to worry overmuch if such an incident should occir.

Cheap Bower SCB600 Digital SLR Case - Large

I bought this in order to protect my Canon 60D when out and about, but when I want to leave my big bag with the rest of my gear at home. It is a sturdy, padded bag that is large enough to fit my 60D with 18-135 kit lens attached (total length 7"). It also has a padded divider and velcro attachment points to help secure the camera, but I doubt anything except small accessories (extra battery or charger, or maybe a small flash) would fit alongside a mounted zoom lens. There is also a medium-size pocket on the front that can fit a charger or other accessories. The main compartment closes by velcro and/or buckle with adjustable strap. None of the compartments feature small pockets for memory cards, etc.

The padded shoulder strap (included) seems sturdy but not particularly comfortable it features a hard, rubbery non-slip surface on the bottom of the pad.

Interior dimensions at top: H x L x W 7" x 6" x 4" (approx). Tapers to be a bit narrower at the bottom. Dimensions exclude the front pocket.

Overall it serves its purpose very well, and seems to be very solid and functional considering its very reasonable price.

I bought this bag since I was traveling with a camera and laptop for a few months and wanted a non-dork looking bag. The bag looks good, but I found it lacking in everything else.

Here's the gear I was looking to carry:

-Apple MacBook Pro 15"

-Nikon D40

-Nikkor 18-55mm

-Nikkor 55-200mm

There are 3 zippered compartments: Let's say the one closest to your back when you're wearing it is Main, the middle one that holds your camera gear is the Middle, and farthest pocket is Mini.

The Main compartment has an area for your laptop and an area for some magazines/docs, both covered by a velcro flap. The rest of the room can be used for random crap, but the more you put in, the harder it is to open the velcro flap to get your laptop out.

The Middle compartment has a removable bucket to hold your camera gear. It also has a couple of netted pockets for random cables and cards. All of my gear fit in this area, but when the camera is in there...

The Mini pocket becomes completely stretched and unusable. You can't even put a pen in there. Anything stiff in there would bend as it's being pushed out by the Middle pocket.

All of the outside zippers are thick and feel secure, and are have fabric folded over them so they're hidden. This is great in crowds: I was traveling around crowded parts of Asia and never felt afraid that I wouldn't feel someone unzipping one of the pockets to steal something. But it sucks for daily use. There is just no way to open the bag fast, you have to take it off and fiddle with the zippers. I know it's a tradeoff, but make sure you understand that tradeoff before getting it.

For daily use with a laptop and no camera, the bag never felt bulky, but it did feel like overkill. For daily use with a camera and no laptop, it felt too big to be carrying around for a day trip.

The only times I liked using the bag were when I was packing to get on planes since it held all of my electronics. But once I landed, I had little use for the bag.

One last annoying thing to keep in mind if you're traveling a lot: There's no convenient place to hold travel docs and a cellphone that you need to access frequently, say at the airport and through security. It would have been nice to have an extra zippered pocket on the side to easily slide things into.

I ended up selling the bag after a few months. Let me know if you'd like to write anything else about the bag in the comments.

I recently purchased this as a gift with the D300 and battery grip. Carrying all that camera weight was always an issue for taking out the camera for long trips. We tried it out at the Botanical Gardens and I ended up carrying it. It had the D300 with battery grip, 1 medium lens, 2 large lenses and the SB800. WOW what a relief on my shoulders! I used to carry the Tamarac Velocity 9 and I would always cramp up! This was a relief! After four hours of carry time....no pain at all. It's also easy to manage, its a good bag...also has plenty of pouches to store lens filters, card readers, cards, and cords.

I got this not too long ago and am amazed at how much I've been able to cram into it. I can easily stow my 15 inch MacBook Pro and 8 inch Eee PC into the Laptop portion with enough space left over for maps or other small books. The camera compartment easily fits my small DSLR and 2 lenses and has a little pocket for memory cards and other accessories. Everything fit snugly, but I wasn't lacking for space. If that isn't enough, there's a smaller compartment on the outside that could store whatever other odds and ends you've got on you.

The Sinking Barge also has very comfortable shoulder straps and padding on the inner portion. Although the bag is a bit heavy on its own, the weight is distributed nicely so you can carry it fully stocked for a few hours without feeling too worn out. I'd read in a review on another website that it is quite big for a backpack, but I didn't find this to be the case. I'm fairly short, but the Barge fits me better than most bags and doesn't hang in such a way as to strain my back. The bag is made out of a pretty durable nylon that should withstand a fair amount of wear and tear.

Although the Barge is a bit pricey for a backpack (although I got mine for ~$30 less than the current price on Amazon), it is definitely worth it for the durability, utility and comfort that it affords.

The pink suede on the camera case is a dusty rose color and not a bright pink. It's a very nice color and I'm glad it's not bright or neon. The screen color doesn't do it justice, because the color is a bit deeper than what it looks like here. The case fits my Nikon COOLPIX S6200 16 MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical Zoom NIKKOR ED Glass Lens and HD 720p Video (Blue) perfectly. Because the case is small enough, I can wear it under a raincoat or jacket without adding bulk. That means I'm more likely to carry my camera around for those unexpected photo-ops.

The front flap is secured by velcro and lifts to expose a pocket that has elastic mesh on both sides. The pocket is big enough for a spare battery or memory chip, or to hold a credit card or subway pass card. The interior is one large pocket for the camera.

I gave the bag only four stars because the strap could really use a billet, one of those loops that holds the extra length of a strap in place. I've shortened the strap and the part that's doubled tends to get caught on things. I may end up making a holder for it. It's not a huge problem, and I'd give the item 4.5 stars if I could.

It's a nice camera bag and fits my camera perfectly. The only things I wish they'd change are the strap (would rather have a wrist strap instead of a shoulder strap) and the pink part is made of suede. Suede is amazing, but gets dirty really easily if you're like me and brings the camera everywhere.

This is no more a case for Samsung Cameras than it is for Canons.

My camera this listing says in the description is for is far too small for this case.

It rattles around like a ping pong ball. Has fallen out on to the floor. No damage as far as I can tell..but cannot be good for it..

Do not buy this case as a case for Samsung but as a unviversal case and measure your camera to see how it will fit..
