I am actually not using the Arriba cases for audio gear, but rather for amateur radio equipment. It turns out that this particular case is a very nice fit for an Elecraft KX3 transceiver and minimal accessories. I bought several for other little things I wanted to transport.

I stumbled across this bag here on Amazon. Out of curiosity, I headed over to the Tamrac site to check out the specs. The Aria bags are new this year. I originally looked at the Aria 3 bag because of its size and it just looks very fashionable. I knew functionality would override being fashionable.

I found the Aria bags at my local camera shop. They had both models/sizes (3 and 6) and in all three colors. The bag comes in brown, moss, and black. I had a hard time deciding which color I wanted. They are all beautiful colors.

Though the Aria 3 is quite cute, it wouldn't fit the camera and accessories I would carry with me. I ended up with the Aria 6 in black. If I could afford it, I would have had all three colors. That's how beautiful they are.

The bag is made of a lightweight material (smooth nylon) and appears to be water-resistant. The interior has a silvery lining which makes it easy to find things inside the bag. Overall, the bag is the lightest I've seen. The interior foam padded divider flexes a bit. I assume it helps to keep the weight of the bag on the light side. It may not be a big issue.

The front flap attaches to the bag with the front buckle. Under the flap are two zippered pockets. In the front is a zippered pleated pocket to hold camera accessories: cables, batteries, media cards. It's just a simple pocket.

In the second zippered area under the flap is the main camera compartment. I can place my Nikon D7000 DSLR with 18-200mm lens attached. I also have space on either side of the camera for a fixed lens and my speed light. The interior padded dividers can be rearranged and attached to wide velcro strips that run along the interior front and interior back of the bag.

Also inside the main bag compartment are two other pockets. There's an internal zippered pocket in the front of the bag. That was a nice surprise. There's an internal padded pocket at the back of the bag that can hold an iPad.

On the outside of the bag are two side pockets. This is one of the best features of this bag. I can place my iPhone in either of the pockets.

The strap on the bag is adjustable. I can wear the bag on my shoulder as a side bag or wear it across my body like a messenger bag. There's also a sliding shoulder pad that's not too bulky.

I don't think I would carry my iPad in this bag. The iPad by itself can be quite heavy. Having the option and space to carry one in the bag is a plus.

I'm the type of person who has to see the bag in person before buying. I've taken a few pictures for those of you who might have an interest in this bag. I've uploaded a couple of pictures of the bag in the gallery.

Overall, this bag is quite functional and very lightweight because of the lightweight material its made of. I like that it's not too bulky and not too slim. It's very stylish and doesn't scream "camera bag". I recommend this bag for those of you who just want to take a camera and a few camera accessories with you.

This bag holds my Nikon D7000 DSLR with 18-200mm lens attached along with my SB-700 speed light, and my extra 85mm f1.8 lens. The padded velcro dividers are a bit too light and flexes under the weight of my camera. It may or may not be a minor problem for others. I plan on "borrowing" a set of firmer dividers from my other Tamrac bag. This should resolve the minor issue.

Even though I purchased this bag to be used across my body like a messenger bag, I've been using this bag as a shoulder bag and find that it's quite comfortable. I haven't had any problems with the strap sliding off my shoulder. Overall, the bag feels well balanced.

I like the simple plain pockets on this bag. It's roomy and I'm not constrained to what I can put in them. It holds a lot of accessories: extra battery, extra media cards, key ring full of keys, wallet, business cards, lip gloss, granola bar, lens cap, filters, papers, etc.

I really like the side pockets where I can easily access my iPhone and/or iPod.

I recently purchased the Nikon D600 full frame DSLR. This camera fits perfectly in this bag.

I also purchased the smaller Aria 3 bag. I removed the padded divider and can place my D600 with 24-85mm lens on its side in the bag. I can also place my iPhone in the external side pocket. The Aria 3 is a cute small bag. Compact. A nice bag if you're only taking the D600 and kit lens.

I've had a slightly more square bag Tamrac bag for years, but it vanished in some checked luggage recently (fortunately not with the equipment inside). I decided to try a thinner and longer bag, and this one sounded just about right. I wasn't sure if I could fit all my equipment inside, but I got a Nikon D80, 80-200 2.8 zoom, 50 1.4 lens, fairly large Nikon speedlight, and shorter zoom inside with room to spare. This is MUCH easier to carry around than the old bag was!

I like the fact the bag can hold a camera with lens plus two others and my iPad. I pack a 70-200mm, 24-75mm and a 10-24mm and can also fit in a 50mm prime. It is low key looking so you are not advertising the fact you have your camera gear in it.

Try to stuff a full frame DSLR in the Day Holster and it won't close. When you pull it out, the lens cap stays behind. I have a CANON 5D Mark III and the flap won't even come across to the other side when you try to shut the top of the Day Holster. This bag is more for the lower end Rebel SLR cameras and otherwise smaller SLR bodies. It would have been nice had Case Logic stated that it couldn't accommodate the full frame DSLRs and I would have expected such caveats and it was probably why I didn't bother to compare the dimensions.

Bought this case after going through quite a few other cases and backpacks to hold our Canon t3i. Found that backpacks and sling bags may work great for hiking and getting your camera to a place where you are going to be taking pictures but not taking many pictures along the journey.

It was really nice to have the larger outer case to hold extra lenses, charger, memory cards, etc. and the camera in the protective sleeve. That got us from home to our destination, then when we were walking around we were able to keep the camera in the protective sleeve/holster and use the camera strap for easy access to any quick snap scenario we may have encountered. (We have a 1 year old so they are plentiful!)

It takes a long time to get the camera in and out of some of the other cases we tried and with the ability to hang the holster from the strap while you are taking pictures then just slide the camera back in and move on, this case has proved to be the best we have found.

I can see if you have quite a bit of gear (lenses, external flash, etc) this case may fall short on storage, but our setup with a 18-135mm zoom lens attached and a 55-250mm as a rare use lens, this case was leaps and bounds better than others we tried.

I bought this for my Nikon D5100. The case is very well built and looks pretty cool. It's nice that it does'nt advertise what's inside like "NIKON" or "CANON" on the outside. No point in giving potential thieves too much information. The case itself holds the camera securely and provides ample padding for any bumps that may occur. I'm not sure what would happen it were dropped though. It does have a solid plastic bottom that is nice for setting the bag down without it tipping over or getting wet from puddles or wet grass. The side pouches are big enough for a couple of extra lenses and hoods. The front pouch will hold small accessories and the rear pouch is good for thin items like lens pens and cleaning cloths. The inner pouch has a removable case that can stay with the camera. It's nice for shielding the camera from mist or dust. It has a loop for attaching it to the camera strap but this is a little awkward when taking pictures. It's best just to take it totally off the camera and store it in the case when taking photos.

Like any other camera bag, fit it going to depend upon your gear. For me, this is a great bag to go hiking with and keep everything securely in place. My Nikon D7000 with 18-105mm lens fit perfectly in the main compartment. There are two side slots for additional lenses/flashes, however, what you decide to put in these compartments will matter. I found that when I have my camera packed, along with a 50mm prime and 10-20mm wide angle, it's a bit difficult to get the lenses out as it's a rather right fit. The prime lens is small and it sits down further making it difficult to get out without removing the camera first. However, if you're using a smaller DSLR, say a 3100/5100 or the Canon Rebels, you won't have a problem at all fitting two lenses in comfortably. This is why I gave this 4 out of 5 stars. It really depends on your camera. If you have a larger DSLR, I really wouldn't plan on having the room to carry two additional lenses, so the description is somewhat misleading.

I love the fact that this has a separate sleeve for your camera. I was going to buy one anyhow and it's nice that it's included in this.

There is also a small compartment up front for a charger or what-not and a mesh zippered area on the back. It's definitely sturdy but a little bigger than I had hoped. At first the bulk stopped me from using it for day-trips, but it's perfect for longer trips when you need a little bit more with you. The inner sleeve is nice if you want it it adds extra protection while the camera is in the bag and pops out and can protect your camera if you're just taking that on the go. Obviously, it's meant for a bigger lens, actually, the whole bag is set up for someone with larger lenses (it easily holds my Canon 24-70mm, 100mm macro, and a 70-300mm zoom), but it will be too small to hold the longest zooms, and if you're carting around a 35mm or 50mm prime, you're wasting a lot of space.

Once again, it's outstanding feature is it's ruggedness. The zippers are strong, the nylon fabric is tough, and the bottom is made of stiff soft-touch plastic that should make it ok for setting down on damp surfaces. There's a cushioned handle and a shoulder strap as well. The strap is actually the weak link here, as its's thin and the pad slides around a lot, but it's hardly a deal-breaker.

It's gosh-darn mini that can barely hold my SONY NEX 6. Let alone a flash or lens. I am extremely disappointed with the description. They are selling some toy bags to people. Steer CLEAR of this thing if you're looking for a camera bag. If you're a SLR user FORGET about it. It's one of the worst products I have ever received on Amazon.

It's TINY. More so than I expected. But I was able to get a real camera in it, and my keys, and a parasol, and a few other sundry items. It is built well, as far as I can tell. The "hidden" pocket is a nice feature for ID and CC. I didn't want a big pack in my way, just something to hold the essentials while I explored. I added a little chest strap myself to keep it snug so I could climb over rocks and trees without it moving, but it's pretty comfy without that, too.

No complaints on this one, but do make sure it's the size you want. It really is teeny tiny.

Okay, okay, so i bought it BECAUSE it was small. i bought a small mirror-less camera and a ton of old SLR lenses to trick it out, and saw this advertised as exactly what i needed: a camera bag for a compact mirror-less camera system. The thing is, it doesn't seem like anyone thought about how the tetris of it was all going to work out. In other words, this doesn't seem to be made by someone who was interested in how it actually functions in the field. There are tons of little pockets and compartments, all so cute and miniaturized that you can barely fit anything in them (a 3 foot USB cable barely fits in the side pockets), and in the pockets that are potentially large enough to hold battery chargers, remotes, cleaning stuff, filters, etc. little thought was given to how much volume they will have to accommodate once you put them ALL in there at the same time. There is also a clever zipper on the backpack straps to make it into a should bag, on its face a brilliant idea, but in practice, making for a sling bag that you can't sling in part because the length that the straps have to be in backpack mode are 10 inches longer than they need to be in sling mode, but mostly because the ergonomics of the 2 bags don't really compliment each other. There is no grip to the underside of the double duty backpack straps, so you can't even just sling one strap over your shoulder while in back pack mode. The front part unzips and the front panel folds out, but they've sewn gussets (word?) onto the sides so that the front won't open all the way, especially if you have the bag lying on its back, this is really weird, i suppose it is to keep your bag from opening all the way up when it's upright, but i would have appreciated some snaps instead of stitching. There is no top handle, which is pretty much the most egregious oversight besides not understanding that pockets eventually contain things.

So the bag is just too small. This is the petite version for someone who plays at photography and wants something to replace her purse. The small backpack doesn't sit in a good place on one's back, or at least mine, but i'm not petite, i'm medium. Which is what these guys really need to make. This is a good start, but it needs a mark II, something that's 25% larger, ditches the transformer straps, adds that handle, puts some pleats in the pockets, longer more useful side pockets, lets the bag have more front to back space, especially the storage inside the front flap. Most importantly, send some designers out with a handful of lenses and some cameras and learn how the bag needs to function.

Why 4 stars if it's so too small? Even though this bag isn't as awesome as it could be, i can still use it to cruise around with my NEX-7 fitted with a 40mm Hexanon and still stash a Nikon 85mm with tilt adapter, an FD 20mm with rubber lens hood, and if i'm really sneaky, i can get the FD 50mm f1.4 in there for good measure. i can't fit much else in there besides sliding the charger into the front pouch, and extra SD cards in the zipper pocket on the velcro flap. Construction quality seems solid, not problems so far, and the bags padding, though not bulky or in your face, inspires confidence in its own tiny way.

This small bag is one major revision away from finding the medium sized format that would better suit its purpose.

After some extensive research and try-ons, Case Logic SLRC-205 Camera Sling Bag is my current favorite bag to carry my small DSLR (Olympus E-620) and two lenses (one attached to the body).

Case Logic must have a great design team that cares. They seem to put a lot of attention on the design that not only looks good, but also very utilitarian. They keep improving the holder for the camera body with a lens attached in their camera back, the latest hammock design exhibits that. It's a very simple design that will suit various camera configuration. Such effort deserve to be praised.

It's a pleasure to carry this bag. Weight distribution of a sling bag is crucial, as the load is stressed on one shoulder (in this case, left, and there's no right shoulder option as noted by another reviewer). However, Case Logic SLRC-205 feels like feather when I put it on me with the bag fully loaded (~5 lbs. of equipment).

In the main compartment, I have put an Olympus E-620 (around the size of Canon XSi/T1i) with Zuiko 14-45mm II (3.5" long, 3" diam.) attached with hood reversed. It still has some room at the bottom to store my 50mm macro lens if desired. However, I squeezed my Giottos large rocket Blower Giottos in. It's a tight fit for that configuration. A larger camera body may have a hard time getting in without removing the neck strap. I had the quick release plate of my tripod attached to the bottom of the camera and it's a tight fit, but no problem. There is no problem in term of horizontal space.

In the extra lens pocket I was able to put a Zuiko 50-200mm in (6 1/4" long, 3.5" diam.) with its gigantic hood reversed and tripod holder attached, which makes it around 5 1/4" wide, and the pocket still has some room to spare. The nice little touch about that pocket is it has an elastic band near the bottom. I forgot to zip the bag up once, after I changed my lens, and that elastic band held the lens closer to the bag, saved my precious lens from an irreversible disaster (though a smaller lens might have felt through, so don't bet your life on it, but it's a nice contingency design).

There is also a spare pocket for small things like memory cards, battery and trinkets (I also put lens cleaning pens inside). It is more accessible than the side pocket, which is blocked by the tripod holder. My other gripe about that side pocket is it's not deep enough for a standard novel-size camera manual. I just wish there is one non-flat type pocket dedicated for larger item such as the rocket blower, and some pen holders for my lens pens. A cellphone/iPod holder on the shoulder strap would be a nice touch.

There is a filter pocket! I love the design team. They were able to squeeze so many features in a compact bag, and all except the side pocket mentioned are readily accessible when you swing the back to the front, without having to take the bag off (which is the shortcoming of a backpack style bag). The two filter nets inside it hold 67mm filters fine, though the smaller one is better suited for a 58mm filter.

The tripod holder is wonderful. I have a full-size aluminum tripod (Dolica 62" Proline with Ballhead) retracted and stored in its dedicated tripod bag. Using the two Velcro closure, the tripod was piggybacked onto the back and doesn't shift around. The tripod is longer than the sling so I won't carry a tripod that way to a crowded place. However it's nice to free your hand if you're hiking.

The shoulder strap is very comfortable and well padded. The length control is a bit weird. Instead of that plastic thing you would loop around twice, you pull the extra strap to the desired length and then roll it up like an omelet, then fasten it with a Velcro strap. I prefer the traditional plastic loop (when done right, the loop is actually more secure).

The interior padding is okay only. It's not super thick, but should be okay for minor impact. The part I'm more worried about is the spare lens pocket, as it's more exposed. Main compartment should endure concoction more. The interior material is made of high quality nylon. It feels smooth and I don't believe it'll scratch the equipment (just don't rub the lens glass with it).

There are handles tactically placed. I don't feel the content will fall out when using them. While the zippers secure the bags well, but the main compartment's zipper could be smoother when zipped around the corner.

Minor gripe. Though Case Logic team deserves the recognition, but I wish the logo can be a little more low profile. It's not gigantic or hideous, but when I see the sunshine logo, I know who made the bag already. The way it is put now, it looks like a camera bag, which is not something I like to flaunt about (i.e., rob me!). I also wish the side pocket and the main compartment have a more joint look, so it looks more like a regular sling bag. As of now, the main compartment looks alarmingly like a camera holster.... A discreet, understated design is the best attention grabber.

Overall, it's a very well-designed bag for a small DSLR with two lenses. Importantly, it is in a compact design with good ergonomics and holds all the crucial items. I just wish Case Logic design team could add one more pocket for lens cleaning supply, or perhaps one pocket for iPod/cellphone on the shoulder strap. Case Logic team deserves the praise.

Hi Everyone,

So, my wife and I are wedding photographers. We've been looking for a good bag for quite a while to carry our camera & lenses. We've checked out the other major brands (including crumpler) and many of the more popular choices ... and then as came across this one (the case logic SLR sling).

I have to say, we really love it. So, to point out a few good things:

1 It looks pretty good and doesn't scream 'camera in here!' (good when traveling)

2 It can easily hold 3 lenses at a time, including the Canon 70-200 2.8L IS. The 70-200 can actually fit in the main compartment with another smaller lens (like the 135 f2 or the 100mm 2.8 macro) or it can fit alone in the extra top compartment with the hood on backwards! To clarify even more, the 135 + 70-200 with hoods on can fit in the main compartment without a problem (it is tight though, but tight is good). Oh, one last note here it can hold 4 lenses if packing smartly 70-200 + 135 in main compartment and 14mm 2.8L + 50mm 1.2L in the top compartment.

3 It works as intended. The sling capability (the ability to bring it to your front) is invaluable. It makes is -veryeasy to get out the lens you want without taking off the pack AND it can make you feel secure in areas where you want to keep an eye out for pickpockets.

4 The quick release clip on the front is just great hands down, great. If you are just getting to a location, an event is about to happen, you can quickly release the pack, place it on the ground, and be shooting within seconds.

5 The material is very nice and breathable.

6 The extra small compartments for cards, etc, are very handy. We found ourselves putting keys/memory cards up front and putting more sensitive items behind the tripod strap (which works very well).

Hands down, we'd recommend this.

Downside: We had ours altered as we are too small for it to fit. We just had the strap moved up where it connects over the chest. Fits like a charm now. Cost us all of $7.

Quick last note for nearly any lens combination, the bag could fit at least three. Such as the 24-70 2.8L + 85 1.2L. We found ourselves putting one lens below the camera holder/sling inside and one above so that they did not hit each other. And then we'd just have 1-2 lenses in the extra compartment. If you want to store your camera in the bag, a 5D Mk II + 24-70, 85 1.2, 100 2.8, 135 2.0, ... etc fit in the middle compartment without a problem. In fact, we could fit the 5D Mk II + 24-70 (hood backwards) in the middle compartment (not using the internal sling type device) and still have room to put a 580 EX II flash ontop of it. The only lens that doesn't fit with the camera body attached would be the 70-200 2.8L IS or any lens of that length.

For us, we are able to carry 5 lenses, 2 580 EX II's, and a 430 EX II with radio popper stand in two bags at once.

Highly recommended and also highly recommended to have the strap altered so that the bag fits you properly. Otherwise, it can be a waste of money unless you are 6'5".

Edit: I should say that we just got back from a 2 week trip for a destination wedding in Europe and these bags were invaluable. We kept our passport, IDs, cash & cards in the inner pocket behind the tripod strap and had no problem. In busy areas, we just slung them around for a bit more security. They were comfortable to wear the entire trip without a problem and carried all the lenses + flashes + tripod + modifiers we needed for the wedding. For just sight seeing, etc, they still held everything we needed (had room to even carry personal items with us, like water, etc).

I spent a lot of time researching sling-style DSLR cases and this is by far the best I have seen. I've owned one for a few months already and I have no complaints.

Comfort adjustable, padded strap allows the bag to wrap around your torso for a comfortable fit. Sometimes I even forget that it's there. I cannot say the same for the boxy-style camera bags, they just feel out of palce.

Storage The main compartment has the hammock suspension system, which I think offers good restraint and easy access to your camera: just unzip the top cover and reach for the camera. The compartment is deep enough to fit a super-tele lens attached to the body, or an attached medium sized prime with room at the bottom for another lens. Another compartment has room for two more medium sized lenses or a lens and a charger. A few more zippered pockets offer room for small gadgets like wireless remote control, USB card reader, some filters, lens cleaning gear.

Protection there's enough padding to keep your toys safe, though I wouldn't get on crowded bus with it.

Style This is the only case I have seen that actually looks great, and not really like a camera bag bonus points for that; last thing you want is to advertise your stash of expensive toys.

Worth mentioning a hook and loop tripod holder; pretty useful for a light tripod, though the bag will get heavy if you're going on a long hike. Build quality is good, feels like money worth spending.

Kudos to the designer of this case.

I spent days looking for a sling bag before I bought this one. I travel light, but have a Canon 5D, plus a 28-135mm lens and a 70-300mm telephoto lens. I wanted a sling pack to slide my small amount of other personal stuff into while traveling in (potentially shady) areas (and non-shady ones).

Verdict: I love this bag. It is so awesome. The hammock is so cool. But there are some other things to consider:

1. It is going to be very annoying to constantly stop, slide the bag around and take photos. The bag needs some breaking in at the beginning; it is very stiff (and that is a GOOD thing). If buying it for a vacation, take it out for a romp BEFORE your trip to soften it up and get used to the maneuvers required to load and unload your camera. I only say that because it has an usual design.

2. The height of my 5D (from the bottom, set down, to the top near where the flash module would hook into) seems uncomfortable fit-wise into the hammock compartment. I am not sure if an EOS 1or 5D with one of those battery pack grippers would be able to fit into this compartment. My 5d JUST fits. However, a camera with a full telephoto lens might fit in here without disassembly. There is a lot of space in the hammock for a longer lens than my 28-135mm lens.

3. In order to use this, it is really optimal to remove any other protection: ie, camera armor (which I had) and the strap. To keep the strap on while storing the camera in the bag is to add serious and repetitive frustration to your life when you unloadand load the camera back into the bag. There is just not space for the strap in the compartment.

4. There is limited space for much else if you have a telephoto & default lens. The small side pocket has space for my mini tripod, my folded strap and a few lens caps. The flat pocket over the camera hammock fits something flat, like a manual and some papers or whatever. There are a few other nooks and crannies but don't expect this to double as a backpack for personal items if you have a lot of stuff. It will fit a camera, a manual, a mini tripod, some other various doo-dads, 2 lenses (one on, one off), and a small variety of whatever else.

Regardless of the above items, I think this is a fantastic bag and is totally worth the money. I hope it lasts long enough to carry my camera to the Southwestern USA, Denmark, Norway, Bermuda and throughout my winter of snowshoeing and winter sports! The padding is awesome and it is very sturdy. When this bag dies, I hope I can buy another one. Perfect for an on-the-go photographer.

Recently my wife and I were traveling abroad for 3 weeks and I needed a bag to carry some of my camera equipment around with me. I didn't want a full on backpack and a fanny pack was out of the questions. Shoulder bags just looked silly for some reason and I found this bag and the Incase DSLR Sling Pack in Black CL58032. I ordered both as I felt like I needed to see them in person to really decide.

They both go on the same way (one should strap that goes on across your body) and fit just fine. The incase bag was much larger and looked like it would be holding expensive things inside. One of the things I wanted was for this bag to be pretty unassuming I didn't want to announce to everyone I have a few thousand dollars of camera equipment inside. Both bags were also very well built.

The case logic bag has a very breathable material on the back which made it very comfortable to wear for 10 hours straight when walking around and hiking. To get access to the camera you don't have to take the bag off, it just slides around and opens up to the camera 'hammock' which is great. The two side pockets are also very easy to get to in this position and I keep an extra lens or two in there along with batteries and memory cards. When you are just walking around you also have access to a small pocket in the strap which I keep a cloth in.

To give you an idea of what I can fit in this, I usually carried:

I ended up returning the incase bag and keeping this one. If you need something slightly larger then the incase may be for you.

This is a very well made case. It has top quality materials in construction. It feels quality in the hand and looks it too. I purchased it because of the fact that it stays attached to the camera and you don't have another thing to hold, set down, or lose. It comes with a nice stylus that is stored in a slit in the interior fabric in one of the inside bends of the case.

It is attached via a thumb screw that you can twist without need for a screwdriver. You can use a coin or similar item if it is too tight to turn by hand. It does have an edge as it is about the thickness of 3 quarters stacked up. The side is grooved to have a texture for your fingers to grab, but if you tightened it too tight you may need a coin to loosen.

It protects the camera well. The only exposed part of the camera is from the sides which are open. Dirt and other things can contact the camera thru the open ends of the case. Keys in a purse for instance could scratch the sides of your camera. Another feature that is why I only gave it four stars is the fact that once you have the case on, you have to bend it down below the camera to take pictures and have it out of the way. You can get used to it if have good hand coordination. I have been bending the first fold in the case which is right at the bottom of the camera to relax and loosen it. I image after is wears in, the case will simply hang down straight and not want to stay angled up toward the front of the camera anymore. The case is designed to attach at the bottom and fold up over the front of the camera, then the top side and down the back and then fold over the bottom and attach via magnetic closure. The magnet seems plenty strong to keep it closed.

I will keep this case even despite the two limitations I've found. I like the way it looks and stores. And the fact that it is quick to remove make it one of the best cases out there for me.

The beauty of this case over every other camera case in the market is that it has a magnetic flip design and remains attached to the camera. When paired with a DSC-T series camera (T90/T900/TX1/etc) this means the camera and case are slim enough for a guy to carry in their pocket. When you see a picture opportunity, boom, whip out the camera, flip open the case, slide down the lens cover, snap pic, return lens cover, flip close case, back in pocket and on your way again. It's super great. There is no fumbling with a case while you take your picture, it simply hangs out of the way.

The down side of the attached case/one handed operation is that yes you do have to unscrew the case to change a battery. Like once a day big deal. The people who complain about this are girls, who have the benefit of a purse to hold the camera case so don't like the inconvenience of this design. So don't give this case to a girl, do pair it up with a DSC-T camera for a guy.

It looks that Sony has dropped this case so buy extras now nobody will ever make this superior case again. It was a freak of nature that it ever made it to a product you and I could use.

I have used this case for 8 months and love it. and the DSC-TX1 I paired it with. I have a very active 7 year old and this was the first camera that I carry *everywhere* due to the superior slim camera and fast to use case. The pictures I have captured as a result are priceless. Before this I had a camera that stayed at home in a drawer, it was too big and cumbersome, missed so many wonderful memories.

i want to give this a 5 star because i love the case but it does lack some stuff an ideal case should have. a perfect 10 for aesthetic value, this case looks cool and elegant plus it serves its function in protecting the camera. the included stylus is also great when it comes to editing your picture. you dont have to take out the camera out of the cover to take pictures, which for me a very great feature that most camera case doesnt have. it is custom fit thus perfectly fit the camera size, not bulky even if you carry it on your pants pocket. You do have to unscrew the camera to take off the batteries and memory card which is the downside of this case. And also being not bulky has a price to pay, you'll have to carry all the extra batteries, memory cards, charger and others in a seperate case or daypack. All in all, i'd suggest anyone to get this case if you have the t200 or t70 camera, as it do a really good job protecting the camera at almost all time other than picture taking, and it is easy since yu dont have to take it out of the case to take pictures.

I would have given the case a 3.5 star rating but they don't do halfs. The case is nice because it's not bulky yet it still does a good job of protecting the camera. The magnetic flap makes it easy to get the camera out for pictures.

There are two down sides to the camera because it case screws into the bottom of the camera. 1: It's not very convienant to get the battery out for charging or the memory stick out to put into the computer. 2: Sometimes the case (since it is always attached unless unscrewed) when taking a vertical picture can get in the way.

This strap is much more comfortable than the old Jeppesen strap I had for a bag that came with books I bought once. That Jeppesen strap had no padding other than a type of plastic and it dug into my shoulder if I was carrying heavy things. This also has metal clamps instead of plastic. This is well made and the part that goes over your shoulder has air pockets inside the fabric. So heavy things inside the case do not hurt my shoulder.

This is a fantastic bag. The construction is solid and the materials are bomb-proof. It can comfortably hold my Nikon D200 with 18-200mm lens attached, 70-200mm f/2.8, and a big sigma 180mm macro. I'm also able to throw in extra batteries, cf cards, charger, journal, pens, cleaning kit, flash, and still have room for one more lens. I've carried the bag through Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand and it has stayed very dry in some heavy downpours. The bag can accomodate waterbottles on the side if you buy the accessory (which I highly suggest doing) and you can use the compression straps it comes with to attach a small tripod or to stow a jacket or sweater. It seems quite large when you get it, but it fills up quickly. If you intend to load it all the way up I suggest you purchase either a waist belt for it to help support the load, or a more heavily padded shoulder strap. The strap it comes with is fine for light loads, but should be a bit more padded for the loads the bag is capable of carrying, which is why I give it 4 instead of 5 stars.

I went to several electronics stores around my area, Best Buy, Wolf Camera, Target, etc., and was unable to find a camera bag that I liked enough, that would work for the new Sony HDR-SR1 camcorder that I had just bought. There was a Canon one that came very close, but it still had some issues for me.

I have a couple of Lowepro bags now, actually three, now that I have this one, and I've always been impressed by their quality, and well designed bags. I was unable to locate a Lowepro bag that I thought would work well with the particular application I had in mind. The HDR-SR1 is 6.5" long, or 8.25" long with the wide angle lens attached. I wanted something that would fit this camcorder, with the lens attached, along with the dual battery charger, and all other accessories.

I searched Lowepro's web site, which, in my opinion, is pretty poor. They have good pictures, and a good amount of information, but it seems to be organized a bit odd. I was almost about to buy one of the backpack style bags, when I stumbled upon the Stealth D series bags. I thought the idea behind them was interesting, and they looked good on paper, and in pictures, but without seeing one, I was a bit nervous spending $89 on a bag, not knowing if it would work well in my application.

Well, I'm happy to say that I'm very pleased with this bag. Not only can I fit everything related to the camcorder in the bag, but I'm also able to add my digital camera to the bag, and still have some room left over. I currently store the camcorder as shown in the picture, but if I removed the lens, and a divider, I could store it long ways as well.

The bag is pretty flexible as far as positioning the dividers, however, there isn't an easy way to leave an entire section open, going the longest length of the bag. I'm happy with the way it worked out though. I'm not sure what I'll use the memory card wallet for, but I'm sure I'll find a use.

One of the features I really like, is the water resistant top zipper which you can use to get your camera/camcorder out in a hurry. The shoulder strap seems very well padded, unlike many other shoulder straps I've seen. Even the hand handle is padded well.

I think the previous reviewer is right though, you can really load this bag down, if you want too. I think mine probably weights at least 20lbs right now. Check out the photo I posted.

I got this for the Canon 40D, and I put it in the bag with the 28-135 lens on it. It keep 2 other lenses and a flash in there also, but there is room for 2 other items. Plus with the zippers, it holds papers, cords and other little things. I have nothing but praise for this bag. It is very well made, very sturdy, and I believe, although I haven't tested it yet myself, it will take a beating with stoic silence. It is also comfortable to carry around (although for people with back problems/weak lower backs, it is probably not comfortable to carry it around for an entire day of shooting due to it having only one strap), and keeps your gear easily accessible while protected from the nasty weather (that you might encounter).

It is spacious enough for you to take along with you all of your daily shooting needs, camera, couple of lenses, cleaning kit, flash, leads and cables, filters and memory cards (that go in an included, seperate pouch), as well as a note book and pen(s). One could also fit in a tasty, fizzy beverage, if one had problems filling the compartments with photo relevant stuff. Yet despite all this space on the inside, it is not big and lumpy on the outside. It doesn't get in the way and doesn't take up the entire boot of your car.

Only bad thing is, that you can't really fix your tripod to it, which makes it less than ideal for trekking. For long treks, you'd probably need a more traditional backpack anyway, so it is but a small problem.

I take mine everywhere and use it all the time. Definitely highly recommendable.

I really like this bag. I have a Canon XSi, with the kit lens, 50mm Macro, and 55 250mm zoom, 580exII flash, battery pack, and one of those big air blasters and it all fits easily in the bag (I have room for more too!). Lots of padding and the strap is comfortable. The only thing I do not like is the lack of a handle built on the top...but other than that, I recommend this bag.

I've been looking for a long time for a camera bag that doesn't look like a camera bag. I've searched all the big box stores and even some department stores. Everything was black and you wore it like a backpack. I wanted something I could wear cross-body so I could shoot freely without worrying about holding onto my bag. I'd seen the Jill-e bags for women but they were more than I wanted to spend. Last year, I bought a large beige messenger bag at Aldo that ripped on the second day of my trip due to the weight of everything I carried. After searching for years, I decided to bite the bullet and spend some money on a good bag. And this bag doesn't disappoint. In the camera insert ALONE I was able to fit 2 lenses, a battery grip, an external flash and the camera base for my DSLR. Then there is still room for a tablet and a laptop or other things like wallet, makeup, snacks, camera rain gear, umbrella, etc.

But that's not the only features it has. When you open the top flap, there are three zippered compartments right there next to the buckles. I was able to store all my memory cards in one, 3 li-ion batteries in the middle one and still have another pouch left over! That makes changing batteries/cards super easy! Then in front when you lift up the flap, there is another zippered compartment which has two more mesh pouches. Then there are a couple slots to put a pen, another 2 slots for small things like crackers/granola bars or battery charger. If that wasn't enough, there are two pockets on the side water bottles! Now turn the bag around. There is a back zipper pocket you can use to store your lens caps, with a little pocket on the inside. There is also a zipper on the bottom to open up the back pocket and slide the bag onto your carry on with a strap running through the middle to hook the bag.

This bag is simply amazing. I have never been able to put all my camera needs in one bag until now. I've always had to put my camera gear in a camera bag and put it in my carry-on which took up 1/2 of the carry-on. NOT ANYMORE! Plus, the added shoulder pad provides comfort when lugging around all this stuff. I don't usually take a tripod when I travel but I like that you can attach it to the bottom. You don't realize how difficult it is to attach a monopod/tripod to a purse until you try.

The only down side, if you can count it one, is that the Khaki bag is just a shade darker than it appears in pictures but it doesn't make one bit of difference for me. It's a large bag and I like that. I can wear this bag with any type of clothing and that is the main reason I wanted a messenger bag in beige. This bag is everything I've been looking for and more and I guarantee it will be for you too. This bag on the Portare website is $169.99. I purchased for electronics holder for vacation. This will hold all my electonics plus chargers. I really like everything about it. Very nice. I needed something that was not black, visually I have trouble locating so I require contrast. This fills that bill. I almost sent it back because I don't care for the belt type closure. I thought they would be mostly visual like on purses but no. I may attach velcro underneath the flap. It is sturdy, well constructed, with good padding inside. It is large enough and not so large it is bulky. It is well designed on the inside for all the equipment I wanted to haul around.
