This case fits my Canon A1000IS like a glove, but it's not bulky, even though it's very sturdy and well-made. No storage, but I bought it for my "little" camera that fits in my coat pocket, no attachments or extra lenses, and don't need extra storage. The bigger camera gets a bigger case with storage. I can't believe how well-made this is for such a small amount of money.

Note: this is not a "hard" case as in metal or hard plastic. It's a sturdy, nicely-padded hard "soft" case, if that makes sense. You can't fold or squish it like a regular soft case, it's stiff, but it's not padded metal that's what you're looking for. I had one like that once for another camera, that's why I mention it.

Nice case IF you do not want/need a belt loop. There is no way to carry this case unless you strap it around your neck or have suitably baggy pants that allow you to store the case in your pants pockets. The case will not fit into regular Levis pockets.

What a great buy! This bag works great for either a digital still camera or mini camcorder. I purchased the Lowepro 40AW after researching them on the Internet and checking out the Lowepro site. I originally bought the 40 AW to use with my Toshiba PDR M-5 Digital Still Camera. I could fit either the still camera and all the accessories -cables, filters, you name it, or my Canon ZR10 with *almost* all the gear. But I loved it so much I bought this bag too -Lowepro Digital beltpack AW -for the ZR10. They are high quality camera bags and the Digital variety come with a special lining that will not scratch sensitive LCD screens! Lots of extra little pockets for tapes, smart cards, cables, and chargers too. The outside is soft yet rugged and well constructed. I think my high dollar digital camera investment feels safe and sound in this GREAT camera bag!

I bought this for my Nikon D90 with the Nikon 18-200 and 70-300 lenses. Although the description of the case states that it will fit a lens up to 7 inches, the case will not close with the 70-300 zoom. (This lens measures about 6 inches in its fully retracted position.) It does close with the 18-200. The "snout" of the case is rather narrow and will not fit over the Nikon-supplied hood (carried in the reversed position) for either lens. Because the 18-200 and, to a lesser extent, the 70-300 are prone to flare in some conditions, this is a serious issue.

The case appears to be a clever idea that should offer meaningful protection for a small sized DSLR with a short zoom. However, it is a poor choice for a D90 with two of Nikon's most popular lenses. Ratings reflect the case with the Nikon D90 and the 18-200 and 70-300 VR zooms.

I just purchased this cover based on my previous ownership of a smaller Zing SLR cover. I had an older standard sized cover that worked great for my first generation Digital Rebel with Tamron 28-300mm zoom. I used the old cover when hiking and backpacking with my camera and really appreciated the quick release strap that went around your back to keep the camera from swinging. The cover protected the camera well against light rain, sweat and shock. I never had a problem with it. I have since upgraded to the Canon 40D and it took quite a bit of tugging and stretching to fit it in the standard cover. I just got the new Tamron 18-270mm stabilized lens and there was no way this new combo was fitting in the standard pouch.

Enter the Large Zoom SLR cover. I am able to fit the 40D with a quick release tripod mounting plate and the 18-270mm lens with the lens hood attached into this cover. It is a bit tight, I think because the quick release plate extends the height of the body, but it fits. This lens has a 72mm filter size, but the body is even wider than that due to the stabilization mechanisms, and the lens hood is wider too, but they still fit in the zoom tunnel OK. This cover has velcro tabs on the portion that closes around the lens whereas the older, smaller model had to be pulled around the end of the lens. There is a little bit of room at the end of the lens pouch with this lens/body combo, but not much. The only real problem I have with the cover is Zing changed from the around-the-back quick release strap to a little difficult to attach and detach strap that hooks to your camera's neck strap. This does nothing to prevent swinging and swaying if you are wearing this while hiking. I plan to modify mine to add this functionality.

Pros:

Fits my 40D with Tamron 18-270mm lens + hood

Good Weather / Shock Resistance

Excellent Longevity and Quality (based on previous Zing experience)

Cons:

No around-the-back strap to prevent swinging when wearing it around your neck

Camera cases offer better protection, but they're too inconvenient for walking around. These neoprene shells are a nice compromise.

FYI, this is a good size for the Canon XSi (I originally bought the 510-102, but it was too small). The lens portion of the cover is long enough for Canon's 55-250IS lens.

Also, although Amazon's stock photo looks purple, it's actually a much nicer dark blue color.

Bought this for a week-long vacation to Ireland, where we didn't want to lug around the camera bag we already had. Worked great, really nice to have the camera protected whether it was thrown in a backpack or slung around the neck/shoulder. The only problem I had was the fit of it. The Canon XSi with the kit 18-55mm lens fit, but there was a bit of room at the end of the 'tube' of the lens cover. With the kit 55-250 it fit perfect. At the end of the trip, we were actually a little mad that we had purchased a separate camera bag (which we left at home) because this worked so well.

I was looking for a neoprene cover to put over the camera so that I can safely carry it in my regular day pack while out and about. I didn't want to be limited to physically short lenses, I am thrilled to find that the Zing Large Zoom cover works with the T3i/70-300mm combination. It is comfortably snug with the lens alone and tighter with the hood on backwards. I don't plan to carry it with the hood on backwards, but I tried it to see if it would work. The cover also works great with the T3i and the 18-135mm kit lens, with or without the hood on backwards. There is a little bit of empty space in front of the 18-135mm lens with no hood, but it's not enough to pucker up or look funny. I would use a cover with a shorter snout with lenses pysically shorter than the 18-135mm. The cover seems well made, with smooth seams and a stong velco closure on the flaps that go under the lens. So far I am very pleased. If I have any problems, I will update this review.

Cheap Think Tank Mirrorless Mover 20 Bag for Medium Size Mirrorless Body

After crossing over into micro 4/3rd territory last year, I needed a bag to better accommodate my growing lens collection, or rather allow me to take a good selection of lenses with me when I want/need more than the bare minimum. While researching I was surprised to see that there are hardly any bags out there that are designed for MFT or compact system cameras. Most bags are too high and 'swallow' the small camera and lenses apart from the fact that they are then bulky to take along, with a lot of dead, wasted space.

So I was excited to find the Think Tank Mover 20, designed for mirrorless cameras, and here are my comments in no particular order:

PROs:

Size: A very compact yet spacious bag. The dimensions, especially height-wise, are perfect for probably most if not all mirrorless cameras.

Weight: Light-weight and not too heavy even fully loaded.

Materials: This seems to be a very well-made bag. The seams all look good, the magnetic flap is strong enough to hold even when the zipper underneath is unzipped and one carries the bag by its handle. On occasion I had it happen that it didn't hold, but that was usually when I loaded the bag to the max. The rings and swiveling carabiners are metal, and the strap looks well-made as well (Please see Cons for a few other observations).

Sufficient compartments to store a lot of stuff: The main compartment has two dividers, and one of those double-functions as an open pocket for a phone or small accessory. There is an external zippered pocket that runs the width of the bag and is half-covered by the magnetic flap. This pocket has two open interior stash pockets (which are nicely finished, by the way). One of those stash pocekts contains the bag's rain cover and is attached by a loop. There is also a see-through semi-open pocket on the inside of the lid which closes in the center with Velcro. And finally there are two open exterior stash pockets on each side of the bag, one of which has some stretch to it to accommodate somewhat larger items and the other is a bit gusseted.

CONs (quite minor to me but mentioning these points for completeness anyway)

Dividers: The dividers are rather thin and not as well padded as in a lot of other brand bags. I assume it was a trade-off to keep the dimensions of the bag as compact as possible, and that's fine by me.

The strap: While it features metal hardware (as mentioned above) and looks generally well made, I find it rather narrow and it has absolutely no padding of any kind it is just a plain strap. I might use one of the straps from my other bags because frankly, this is not the most comfortable strap. However, since it is detachable, it is not a big issue.

I also would have liked to see another zippered compartment on the back of the bag instead of the option to pull through a belt (or the strap) to make this a sort of waist pack. I for one find that fully loaded, this bag would be rather uncomfortable worn at the waist.

On a strictly personal note, I want to add that I am not fond of the 90% of black or grey camera bags out there. I would love to see this bag in a fun, modern color but alas, it is black and grey... :-(

7/18: Someone remarked on my review (see under comments) and stated that leaving the bag unzipped, the magnetic flap does not work for him when he lifts the bag by the handle (bag containing camera with kit lens), and that it falls open every time, endangering his equipment. While it works a lot better on my bag, it is definitely not 100 % secure. So to be safe, it's best to not lift the bag up by the handle at all when it is only closed with the magnets and not zipped shut. The manufacturer should probably rethink this approach altogether...

Note: With all those lenses in there, the divider that would normally provide space for a phone is almost too squeezed to use it for anything, so I leave it empty.

Lid Pocket:

Several spare lens caps or ca. 2 small filter bags (Note: My B+W plastic filter boxes do not fit the Velcro cannot be closed anymore if I try to put those in there). This is also a great space for 2-3 spare batteries or small cables, etc.

Large Zippered Exterior Pocket:

Small(!)camera manual

Spare battery or small cable.

Has the rain cover stored in one of the stash pockets.

Exterior Side Pockets:

I leave these empty as they cannot be zippered or Velcro'd shut but they could accommodate small items such as spare lens caps and the like.

SUMMARY:

The bag is well designed and thought-out where it counts. The shortcomings are all minor and rather insignificant. I for one am very pleased with this bag and recommend it 100%.

NOTE, 7/17/2013: Turns out that as of 7/15 Amazon has done away with the customer-submitted image feature. My uploaded images were therefore deleted. Sorry about that. I don't agree with Amazon who told me that this feature was not used enough by their customers and that's why they stopped offering it but there is nothing I can do about it.

8/12: Confusion! My images are back not sure whether Amazon has decided to bring back the Customer Image feature or what's up with that. In any case they are up again and should they disappear in the future, you'll know what's likely happened. This will be my last comment on this issue now :-)

My Mirrorless Mover 20 arrived today. I've always been a Lowepro guy until the end. I will continue to be a Lowepro guy. I also must say that I can't testify to the quality and design of any other thinkTank bag, but the Mirrorless Mover 20 is well designed and well crafted. I think it's not a perfect bag, and how many of us ever do really find the "Perfect bag of bags?" But, thinkTank made a good bag. It's perfectly suited for my V2, lenses and accessories. I'm sure that I probably could've found a Lowepro bag that is comparable. One thing that I really appreciate about thinkTank, is that they use metal hardware, instead of plastic, which many of their competitors use. They also have a great magnet closure, which allows for quick access to your gear. You don't have to zip everything up, to secure your gear. I'm extremely content with my Mirrorless Mover 20.

This is a great [small] bag for M4/3 gear. I dont like to carry a big photo bag, and this one is small, but carries most of the necessary gear. I have a Olympus OMDEM5 with three lens: Panasonic 12-35 2.8, Panasonic 14-140 3.5, and Oly 45 1.8. They all fit [including their lens hoods and the small Oly flash], and I still have room for extra batteries, SD cards, a mimi tripod and some lens cleaning stuff.The end pockets are pretty much useless, but everything else works well and is of high quality. The bag is "maxed out" with the stuff noted, so don't expect to add much more-you "might" be able to get a pancake lens in there somewhere, but that will be about it....... all-in-all, a fine travel bag!

Pretty much like everything about this bag with two exceptions. First, I think the dividers are a bit too thin. I know this is a small bag so interior space needs to be maximized, but the dividers do not provide as much cushion as I would have liked. Second, the strap isn't very comfortable and although it seems to be of high quality, the rotating metal clips squeak a lot. I think adding a little lube will help with the sound, but I hope I don't have to reapply it often.

This next portion doesn't factor into my rating, but I thought it might be helpful. The bag is nice and small but I wish that it was just slightly bigger. I fit the following into the bag: Nikon V2, 32mm f/1.2, 6.7-13mm f/3.5-5.6 VR, 18.5mm f/1.8, SB-N7 speed light, small lens pen and small micro fiber towel, extra SD card, nikon wireless remote, and 2 extra AAA batteries (for speed light). That's quite amazing that I can fit all this into this tiny bag but I still wish it was slighter deeper (from front to back) and included a padded pocket similar to the next size up TTMM30. I like to walk around cities for a full day and having a pocket for a book or my kindle would have been perfect for lunch time. The 30 is a bit too big and I don't really like the way the top opens, so that's why I ended up choosing the TTMM20.

I purchased this bag in order to store my gear when I am out shooting. So far, it fits the bill nicely.

I store my T3 body (w/ battery grip and quick release neck strap), 50 mm, 18-55 mm, 75-300 mm, 6 filters in cases, and a P series filter holder/hoods/rings in the main storage section. I also keep two flash stands (small), two wireless flash remotes, wireless trigger, instruction manual, spare cards and cables in the side and front compartments. Pretty good padding for protection. Adjustable internal compartments (padded walls attached by velcro strips). For the price, I am very pleased with this bag. I may need to upgrade as my collection of gear expands, but for now I am very satisfied.

Had a so-called "premium-grade" leather cell phone case break this spring, as so many of them do after about 12 to 18 months. It had cost about $30 in a local mall store, where I bought it because another case had broken and sent my phone crashing to the concrete floor. And as usual, in both cases is was the spring clip on the back that gave out.

This time I didn't want to make the same mistake, so I started searching here... then remembered that some of the camera bag makers do make cell phone cases. Last fall I had purchased and reviewed a Tamrac 3536 Express 6 Camera Bag, a product that has proven to be even better than I could have expected, so I did a search and found this Tamrac 3573 Express Phone Case (Black), which looked promising. Couldn't find much more info other than what is here in the product description, but feeling good about my experience with Tamrac's quality, decided to give it a try. The price was also good, but I did wonder just how my phone would fit within its elastic sides.

When it arrived a few days later, I took my already-battered Sanyo VI-2300 phone and slipped it into the new case. The fit was perfect, and in the case it looked exactly as pictured here. It not only has a well-stitched belt loop, but there's a Velcro attachment system allows it to be attached to a camera bag strap... or to a woman's purse strap. The black ultra-suede outer shell has held up well, and yes, it does match my camera bag, allowing it to blend in quite well. The magnetic snap closure work well, and not once has it come undone.

Since I purchased this case, I replaced the phone, and it fits perfectly as well. Below you'll find the dimension of the two phones that have been used with this case in case you wondered if yours might fit, though the case will hold a much larger phone than these.

I misunderstood the size of this case. It does not fit iphone or Blackberry size devices, it actually only fits traditional type (that is, smaller) cell phones not the larger smart phones. That may be my own fault for not researching the case I took the product description of 'fits most popular mobile phones' a bit too literally. It's a nicely made case, but if you own a smartphone this case will not fit it.

I originally purchased this case while on a cruise ship last October after my leather insulin pump carrying case fell apart. I was surprised by the perfect fit for both the Medtronic 712/723 insulin pumps and infusion cable given my desperate situation. After using the first case for over five months of very active as well as dress use, it is held up extremely well and no doubt, has been the best case for my insulin pump. I have since ordered three more due to the perfect size, durability and price as a type I diabetic on the insulin pump. It's just right for my Pentax Optio RX 18, charger, extra batteries, cables, and a mini-tripod. It's good-looking and well-made. This lens case was designed for Canon and Nikon 70-300mm zoom lenses. My Nikon 70-300mm, with the lens hood in storage position, is a perfect fit in this case. And when I say perfect I mean perfect...perfect diameter and height...fits like a glove. Being a Tamrac, the case has good padding. I'm not worried at all about bumping the case in a door frame as I'm walking through.

The biggest deficiency of this case is the fact that it's a M.A.S. case (Tamrac's Modular Accessory System) and isn't designed to be carried by itself. It's got a big flap on the rear that is held down by Velcro and snaps. This is used to attach the case to a Tamrac M.A.S. bag, or you can slip the flap behind your belt and carry it as a belt attachment (Tamrac actually sells a belt for carrying your M.A.S. add-ons.) When used as designed, the case works perfectly. However, I wanted to carry via shoulder strap as a separate case. I searched several camera-bag websites, as well as Amazon and others, and couldn't find a lens case that was such a good fit for my 70-300mm. So I bought this case anyways.

All you really need is a smidgen of ingenuity and you can find several ways to carry this case. Besides on the belt, the easiest is just attach it to a nylon strap via the flap, and carry it as a cross-shoulder bag...done. I also find that I can attach it to my Tamrac Express 6 (non M.A.S. bag) fairly easily. I can put it on the strap, or using a small piece of wire or metal rod I can attach it to the side of the bag (see pics.)

So for the price, it really can't be beat. Just make sure that you consider how you're going to carry it around. If you don't already have a Tamrac M.A.S. bag and you're ingenuity-challenged, then this might not be the lens case for you. :p Otherwise...recommended.

I bought this case for my Tamron model 572DM AF70-300 (Minolta) lens, which has a 118.5 mm length, and a diameter of 76.6 mm. The lens is a perfect fit inside the bag.

The case is a soft case, but is rugged and appears to be able to take abrasive wear without difficulty. The zipper is sturdy. There is cushioning at the top and bottom of the bag, to provide some impact protection for your lens...but I would suggest some care anyways, as lenses are fine instruments, eh?

I purchased this lens case specifically to house my Nikkor 70-300mm which, as many reading this already know, does not come with a case as does the more expensive 14-22mm & 24-70mm lenses but instead comes with a totally worthless felt bag. I did some research and found that this Tamrac bag would work for the 70-300mm and indeed it does. It works perfectly. Actually, they're such a nice case that I'm seriously considering buying a Tamrac case for my 14-24 and 24-70 lenses. Unlike the Nikon softcases, there is a very handy velcro and hard snap connector on the back of the case that allows you to attach it securely to your pack or whatever you would like. It's a much better design that the loop on the back of the Nikon bags.

Bottom line is this if you're looking for a softcase to hold your longer lenses like the Nikkor 70-300mm, this case is perfect. Can you jump up and down on it or send it thru the airport baggage without breaking the lens NO. If that's the kind of case you want then go see Pelican cases. But if it's just something to keep your lens in so you can add it to your bag on the way out on a hike, this bag is for you!

The build quality of Tamrac gear is consistently very good to excellent. The materials are usually high quality, and the construction and workmanship are very good. These things are pretty much true for the Tamrac MX5378 lens case, which can accommodate a mid-sized lens up to about 6.3 inches long, with a diameter up to about 3.8 inches. There is padding on all sides, and the top and bottom ends. The padding feels solid, but could stand to be a little thicker on the sides.

As part of Tamrac's Modular Accessory System (MAS) the case is designed to be attached to Tamrac bags with MAS provisions, Tamrac's photographer's belt, or any normal belt or suitable strap. The case has a 2.8 inch wide flap on the back, which attaches to the case body with 2 inch wide Velcro strips, and two metal snaps. I would prefer that the case not slide around too much when attached, but unfortunately it slides freely with quite a bit of play on one of my bags. Despite the looseness, the grip seems to be fairly secure. A very powerful physical blow might be able to detach the case, but otherwise it probably will remain attached.

Because of the high cost of the individual components, I am not a big fan of MAS. Eighteen dollars for a water bottle holder (Tamrac M.A.S. Water Bottle in Padded Carrier (Black)), just seems outrageous! This entire approach by Tamrac seems kind of lazy, and a bit of a money grab. As I now own several bags with MAS provisions, I can see some benefit in being able to swap MAS components between bags. However, as the number of photographers who have several MAS bags, must be a small percentage of Tamrac's customers, to my way of thinking, the needs of most Tamrac customers, are not being served very well.

Tamrac's major competitor is Lowepro. While I generally prefer Tamrac gear because of the build quality, I do also own some Lowepro gear. Lowepro has an accessory system similar to MAS called SlipLock. Neither brand will mention it, but SlipLock components will also attach to Tamrac's MAS.

My Lowepro Lens Case 3 (LC3) (Lowepro Lens Case 3 (Black)) attaches perfectly to the MAS provisions on my Tamrac bags. The LC3 is designed to carry a large telephoto lens, and is larger and has a much heavier layer of padding, than the MX5378 case. The SlipLock attachment system is slightly different, but is more secure than Tamrac's MAS. The fit is tighter, and the case does not slide around as much. On the lid, Lowepro uses double zippers, which are more convenient, although there is no protective flap over the zipper.

Since the LC3 is more secure, and does a better job of protecting a lens, I don't have any problem taking a turn to the "dark side", and attaching a Lowepro case to my Tamrac gear. When it comes to lens cases, Lowepro seems to do a better job with the padding, and the attachment system. The LC3 case is a five star product that is quite reasonably priced. If you need a big lens case, I would recommend it in a heartbeat over Tamrac's MX5380 case (Tamrac MX5380 Modular Accessory System Extra Large Lens Case), which looks like it has the same level of padding as the MX5378.

Between the two brands, Lowepro's prices for comparable components are usually lower, and they provide more variety. You should verify the interchangeability of the particular gear you are interested in, but any Lowepro gear that fits on Tamrac MAS, means more options for photographers. Tamrac's MX5378 case is OK, but Lowepro gear, like their Lens Case 1N (Lowepro Lens Case 1N (Black)), seems to be a superior option.

A friend of mine at work just bought one of these and since I was getting a new projector for my department, we needed a carry case as well. This is lightweight, but sturdy, compact, and just the right size for my ViewSonic (PJD5123 DLP). Holds all it's cables and a little more in the side pocket no bulk. I'm always torn between carrying a big heavy bag for of equipment and a small one with just a body with one lens attached and one extra lens, and I'm also always torn between carrying a ratty bag that doesn't cry out "expensive camera inside" and one that looks halfway presentable. This bag is a comfortable compromise on both counts.

First of all, the dimensions. When I first took it out of the package I was slightly disappointed at how small it looked after reading all of the reviews about how ginormous it is. It is not "too big" for everyday use, at least for me. I have a Nikon D700 that I usually keep the battery grip attached to, and it is a bit snug with the lens pointed down. I've come to take out the included camera divider, and between that and the fact that the flap secures with velcro allowing for easy positioning, the camera fits fine. An extra inch would be better. As far as depth, a 24-70 f/2.8 lens on the camera with the lens hood on fits perfectly, and a 70-200 f/2.8 with the hood reversed also fits. A second lens fits into the second compartment just fine, even the big Nikkor 14-24 f/2.8. By taking out both dividers, I fit the body sideways with a Sigma 150-500 attached and still had room to carry a Sigma 28-300 and a Sigma 1.4 TC alongside the lens. The front pouch fits a 10" netbook comfortably, but instead I opt to carry an incredible collection of accessories and personal items in there. The overall thing to remember is that this bag is not rigid except for the bottom and will conform easily to a lot of different equipment inside. For the one time I ran out of room I attached an accessory pouch from my other Domke bag to the strap.

It looks great without being too flashy. I'm on the subway a lot so I've been using an Army camouflage messenger bag, but recently I noticed I was getting some strange looks when entering museums and other public places, like they were ready to search inside for a terrorist bomb or something. On the other hand I have some nice bags I just won't take with me everyday on the bus or train as they may not scream camera bag, but they do scream that 'something' nice and expensive is inside. This bag looks nice without looking expensive. The only fault I have to correct somehow is the big bright 'Domke' logo sewn onto the flap, I'm thing an Xacto knife to the stitching holding it on.

It is made incredibly well of heavy duty canvas with flawless stitching. I have no doubt it will outlive me. The thing I really noticed when I started using it is how everything just seems to work well for the way I operate, it really shows that this was made by a camera bag maker and not a laptop bag maker or a backpack maker with a few dividers thrown in to call it a camera bag. Somehow it seems that my equipment weighs less when using this bag or my other Domke bag, an F-7 that Is for when I need to carry a lot more, I don't know if it is the sturdiness or the balance or what but I really don't mind carrying around a lot of equipment in either of these bags. However, I really recommend the Post Office Shoulder Pad if you're going to be carrying around 15-20 pounds on your shoulder all day.

This is definitely a best buy, and even though relatively expensive, it's cheaper than buying yet another camera bag to add to the collection in my closet, this one I'll use every day.

I received this bag a few days ago, and my first impression was fantastic, the build quality being what stood out most. The only two complaints I have are in relation to it's size. The first is that the laptop "sleeve" will not hold my 15 inch macbook pro, it is kinda my fault for not checking beforehand, but it is hard to find information like this with Domke bags (one of the reasons I am writing this review). Perhaps they could have made the laptop compartment the width of the bag, beacause it fits perfectly in the main compartment. The second complaint is that it is really deep, I may just need to move down a size. Despite my problems with it being too deep, and the laptop compartment being poorly designed, I love it.

I went through quite a few bags in my search for a camera bag I could use to lug my gear from place to place that wasn't obviously a camera bag, and I bought the Domke F-832 on faith, since there were no reviews at the time. Boy, am I glad I did. This is the perfect travel bag for a shooter who wants to take 3-4 lenses with him. There is a pocket that's obviously tailor made to fit a 70-200 f/2.8, and it also fits my 14-24 and 24-70 f/2.8, along with a pro or regular DSLR body attached or unattached. There's plenty of room up top for another small prime, such as a 50mm f/1.4 or 1.8, strap, and a few miscellaneous accessories. The front pocket isn't big enough to hold a 15" laptop, as the previous reviewer mentioned, but it is big enough to hold my iPad and Kindle DX, both in cases, along with their chargers and a few other miscellaneous accessories. The bag is also small enough to carry on a plane, although it probably won't fit under the seat in front of you.

There are very few drawbacks I've noticed with this bag, but my only real one is that it will not fit a camera body attached to the 70-200mm f/2.8. I suspect the bigger sized Domke F-833 will, but there are really very few reasons I would need a bag to do that, especially one that's meant to lug gear to the location, not shoot from (that's what belt packs are for). The strap could use a little extra padding (Think Tank has much better straps), but again, that isn't a big deal to me if I'm not going to be carrying the bag all day.

Overall, I couldn't be happier with the purchase for my needs and set of lenses.

I've been looking for a bag that would hold both a laptop (Vaio Z 13") and camera (5d Mk II) at the same time, as a daily carry (short trips in the car, shuttling kids to their activities, family outings). The bag is built for quality and durability, easily holding both camera and laptop plus 16-35mm and 50mm. Like many messenger/shoulder bags, it's deep so there's more room if you want to stack your gear. To be expected, when loaded as such is weighs quite a bit, almost too heavy. I was considering ordering the shoulder pad to see if that would offset the weight. However, in my trial use the bag just felt too large for regular use. I really liked the "look" of the bag, but in the end decided to return it.

I have been an amateur photographer for 13 years. I have owned over a dozen carrying solutions over that time. But, I have found that I always need two bags (one for the camera and maybe a lens and/or a flash, and the other for the computer and miscellaneous items). I even bought a Tamron bag that would hold everything, but it was pretty bulky, so I stopped using it. I have lately been using a small Lowepro backpack, but it really wasn't working for me. I prefer a cross shoulder carry, as taking the backpack on and off to access the camera, or even just riding the buss was tiresome.

This bag just works, it is comfortable to carry. The pouch fits my slate with enough room for a notepad or other folder. There is loads of room in the main compartment for the camera and all of the regular items I carry around daily. The absolute best thing about this bag is how easy it is to get the camera out quickly. No buckles, no zippers, just swing it a bit to the front, lift the flap and pull out the camera.

For me personally, the outside dimensions are great, it's about twice as thick as my regular leather briefcase. It fit's in my aftermarket motorcycle trunk perfectly. And, when the strap is at the right length, the weight distribution is comfortable.

The only thing that I would change is there could be a few more small pockets, and sleeves for a pen or two and maybe your business cards (fairly standard briefcase stuff).

I would recommend this bag for anyone who carries daily, and wants to be able to pull the camera out at a moments notice.
