I have a smaller Kenneth Cole Reaction case that I bought locally for $10 and use to carry a small Panasonic camera. This case was going to replace the smaller case and allow me to carry extra batteries in the same case. I mis-measured and didn't like the fit, plus the material on the smaller case seemed a little thicker which I felt protected that camera better, so I am using this to carry accessories for a different camera instead. I bought the purple case for my wife last week and she loves it. Her new Lumix ZS20 fits great in it and the purple color is exactly what she was hoping for based on the Amazon pictures. The case and strap seem well made and should last for the life of the camera and probably much more. The inside is a nice, soft, light color fabric almost suede-like. All other details are what you would expect from a case.

I also like the fact that this newish merchant seems to care about feedback and they seem eager to communicate with us customers.

We would buy again if we somehow lost it.

Cheap Think Tank Mirrorless Mover 20 Bag for Medium Size Mirrorless Body

After crossing over into micro 4/3rd territory last year, I needed a bag to better accommodate my growing lens collection, or rather allow me to take a good selection of lenses with me when I want/need more than the bare minimum. While researching I was surprised to see that there are hardly any bags out there that are designed for MFT or compact system cameras. Most bags are too high and 'swallow' the small camera and lenses apart from the fact that they are then bulky to take along, with a lot of dead, wasted space.

So I was excited to find the Think Tank Mover 20, designed for mirrorless cameras, and here are my comments in no particular order:

PROs:

Size: A very compact yet spacious bag. The dimensions, especially height-wise, are perfect for probably most if not all mirrorless cameras.

Weight: Light-weight and not too heavy even fully loaded.

Materials: This seems to be a very well-made bag. The seams all look good, the magnetic flap is strong enough to hold even when the zipper underneath is unzipped and one carries the bag by its handle. On occasion I had it happen that it didn't hold, but that was usually when I loaded the bag to the max. The rings and swiveling carabiners are metal, and the strap looks well-made as well (Please see Cons for a few other observations).

Sufficient compartments to store a lot of stuff: The main compartment has two dividers, and one of those double-functions as an open pocket for a phone or small accessory. There is an external zippered pocket that runs the width of the bag and is half-covered by the magnetic flap. This pocket has two open interior stash pockets (which are nicely finished, by the way). One of those stash pocekts contains the bag's rain cover and is attached by a loop. There is also a see-through semi-open pocket on the inside of the lid which closes in the center with Velcro. And finally there are two open exterior stash pockets on each side of the bag, one of which has some stretch to it to accommodate somewhat larger items and the other is a bit gusseted.

CONs (quite minor to me but mentioning these points for completeness anyway)

Dividers: The dividers are rather thin and not as well padded as in a lot of other brand bags. I assume it was a trade-off to keep the dimensions of the bag as compact as possible, and that's fine by me.

The strap: While it features metal hardware (as mentioned above) and looks generally well made, I find it rather narrow and it has absolutely no padding of any kind it is just a plain strap. I might use one of the straps from my other bags because frankly, this is not the most comfortable strap. However, since it is detachable, it is not a big issue.

I also would have liked to see another zippered compartment on the back of the bag instead of the option to pull through a belt (or the strap) to make this a sort of waist pack. I for one find that fully loaded, this bag would be rather uncomfortable worn at the waist.

On a strictly personal note, I want to add that I am not fond of the 90% of black or grey camera bags out there. I would love to see this bag in a fun, modern color but alas, it is black and grey... :-(

7/18: Someone remarked on my review (see under comments) and stated that leaving the bag unzipped, the magnetic flap does not work for him when he lifts the bag by the handle (bag containing camera with kit lens), and that it falls open every time, endangering his equipment. While it works a lot better on my bag, it is definitely not 100 % secure. So to be safe, it's best to not lift the bag up by the handle at all when it is only closed with the magnets and not zipped shut. The manufacturer should probably rethink this approach altogether...

Note: With all those lenses in there, the divider that would normally provide space for a phone is almost too squeezed to use it for anything, so I leave it empty.

Lid Pocket:

Several spare lens caps or ca. 2 small filter bags (Note: My B+W plastic filter boxes do not fit the Velcro cannot be closed anymore if I try to put those in there). This is also a great space for 2-3 spare batteries or small cables, etc.

Large Zippered Exterior Pocket:

Small(!)camera manual

Spare battery or small cable.

Has the rain cover stored in one of the stash pockets.

Exterior Side Pockets:

I leave these empty as they cannot be zippered or Velcro'd shut but they could accommodate small items such as spare lens caps and the like.

SUMMARY:

The bag is well designed and thought-out where it counts. The shortcomings are all minor and rather insignificant. I for one am very pleased with this bag and recommend it 100%.

NOTE, 7/17/2013: Turns out that as of 7/15 Amazon has done away with the customer-submitted image feature. My uploaded images were therefore deleted. Sorry about that. I don't agree with Amazon who told me that this feature was not used enough by their customers and that's why they stopped offering it but there is nothing I can do about it.

8/12: Confusion! My images are back not sure whether Amazon has decided to bring back the Customer Image feature or what's up with that. In any case they are up again and should they disappear in the future, you'll know what's likely happened. This will be my last comment on this issue now :-)

My Mirrorless Mover 20 arrived today. I've always been a Lowepro guy until the end. I will continue to be a Lowepro guy. I also must say that I can't testify to the quality and design of any other thinkTank bag, but the Mirrorless Mover 20 is well designed and well crafted. I think it's not a perfect bag, and how many of us ever do really find the "Perfect bag of bags?" But, thinkTank made a good bag. It's perfectly suited for my V2, lenses and accessories. I'm sure that I probably could've found a Lowepro bag that is comparable. One thing that I really appreciate about thinkTank, is that they use metal hardware, instead of plastic, which many of their competitors use. They also have a great magnet closure, which allows for quick access to your gear. You don't have to zip everything up, to secure your gear. I'm extremely content with my Mirrorless Mover 20.

This is a great [small] bag for M4/3 gear. I dont like to carry a big photo bag, and this one is small, but carries most of the necessary gear. I have a Olympus OMDEM5 with three lens: Panasonic 12-35 2.8, Panasonic 14-140 3.5, and Oly 45 1.8. They all fit [including their lens hoods and the small Oly flash], and I still have room for extra batteries, SD cards, a mimi tripod and some lens cleaning stuff.The end pockets are pretty much useless, but everything else works well and is of high quality. The bag is "maxed out" with the stuff noted, so don't expect to add much more-you "might" be able to get a pancake lens in there somewhere, but that will be about it....... all-in-all, a fine travel bag!

Pretty much like everything about this bag with two exceptions. First, I think the dividers are a bit too thin. I know this is a small bag so interior space needs to be maximized, but the dividers do not provide as much cushion as I would have liked. Second, the strap isn't very comfortable and although it seems to be of high quality, the rotating metal clips squeak a lot. I think adding a little lube will help with the sound, but I hope I don't have to reapply it often.

This next portion doesn't factor into my rating, but I thought it might be helpful. The bag is nice and small but I wish that it was just slightly bigger. I fit the following into the bag: Nikon V2, 32mm f/1.2, 6.7-13mm f/3.5-5.6 VR, 18.5mm f/1.8, SB-N7 speed light, small lens pen and small micro fiber towel, extra SD card, nikon wireless remote, and 2 extra AAA batteries (for speed light). That's quite amazing that I can fit all this into this tiny bag but I still wish it was slighter deeper (from front to back) and included a padded pocket similar to the next size up TTMM30. I like to walk around cities for a full day and having a pocket for a book or my kindle would have been perfect for lunch time. The 30 is a bit too big and I don't really like the way the top opens, so that's why I ended up choosing the TTMM20.

This is a nice little bag that holds the two things most needed by the cameras that fit inside: extra batteries and extra memory cards. It's made of sturdy nylon, with a double clasp closure and a shoulder-length strap. The only thing I wish it had is a belt loop hence four stars instead of five.

I bought this to hold my Canon PowerShot SD850 IS and some small accessories (spare battery, spare memory card), and this bag is wonderful. The case feels solid, and seems like it would last awhile. My camera isn't snug inside, so I definitely have to make sure that the case is all the way closed. This really isn't a problem though, because the case comes with both velcro and a snap closure; having both is nice as I don't need to worry if I forget the snaps while running around. The area around the camera is nicely padded, and I never have to worry about my camera being damaged. It gets bounced around my purse quite a bit, and just the other day, my camera completely flew out of my purse sitting in my bike basket as I was going to class. Thanks to this case, no damage was done to my camera at all. I'd highly recommend this product.

This bag is undersized for the 720IS camera. It is a squeeze to get it in and difficult to get out. The mode wheel on the camera is turned by the friction of the bag when removing the camera.

The construction is fine. Better for a smaller camera.

Love, love, love this bag! I can fit my Canon T3i with the 18-55mm lens on, my zoom lens, HD camcorder and point and shoot camera in here and it fits perfectly. The construction is substantial and there are two moveable soft dividers you can use inside the bag to section it off. I've been using this bag for a little over a month and I really like it. It fits my DSLR and extra lens perfectly. This is my big grab it all or store it all bag. It stores my nikon 1 j1 compact camera system, three extra lenses, charging plug & cord, extra battery, filters for the lenses, and my tiny sony wx80 point and shoot with its charger. With all this it is full but closes and secures perfectly. I can take it all with me for big photo trips or just store everything together so nothing gets misplaced. I think with a full sized dslr camera it would be more of a 'day bag', the bigger camera with an extra lens or two and go.

If you're looking for an inconspicuous way to carry your camera gear, the F-800 line has your bag. They have the same gadgets and customizable camera storage systems you would expect in any other camera bag, but they hide it all behind the charming low-key style of an everyday canvas satchel. They're well made, well organized, and they look better than anything else on the market. This large size F-833, however, might be a little too big. I haven't seen the small and medium (F-831 and F-832 respectively) in person, but I can say from experience that the large (F-833) is ridiculously big. It can hold and organize a stunning amount of stuff, but it looks awkward when you put it on. The point of a messenger style bag is so you can casually walk down the street carrying thousands of dollars in camera equipment without anyone knowing. Then, if you want to take a picture you can spin the bag in front of you, whip it open and grab your camera. Because of its absurdly large size however, spinning a loaded F-833 is out of the question, and finding your camera amongst your 5 lenses, two flashes, and every other nicknack will take a decade. (Paradoxically, if you don't have the F-833 fully loaded, finding your camera isn't any easier since you'll have to search through a pile of excessive padding.) The messenger style is way better suited for carrying an afternoon's worth of shooting stuff, not your whole collection. If you need to carry the amount of stuff this bag can hold then you probably shouldnt get this bag. A backpack will handle the weight of all that equipment much more gracefully.

I use a Canon Rebel T2i and I can carry the camera with a moderate zoom lens, a 10-20mm wide angle lens, and a 50mm prime in the main compartment. It is a snug fit, but works. The front pocket is zippered and pleated and holds car keys, a wallet, etc. The inside zip pocket holds spare battery & SD cards.

It has a nicely padded interior and flexible divider pads, also very heavy-duty clasp on front flap (in addition to the zip closure at the top of the bag under the flap). Outside there are three flat open pockets (one large one at the back, one small one on each side) work well for temporary lens cap storing, maps, etc.

It won't hold everything you own, but is great for a day out with everything you need. As others have remarked, it would pass for a chubby handbag so you don't look like a photo-geek. However, it is not so handbag-like that it would look sissy for a guy to carry.

I would recommend this bag for someone who wants a bag just large enough for the day's shooting.

This a great camera bag. It fits my Sony A35 with DT18 lens perfectly. Side compartments have enough space for extra lens and Flash unit. It is a bit expensive then the similar size tamrac camera bags but the material on this one feels better and lighter.

This is an upgrade for me from their previous nature pack. The nature pack has been all over the world with me and if I had to hike or travel it was the best. I had two problems with the nature pack that were well addressed in the venture 30. The clips for clipping the chest pack in were difficult, they covered them with cordura and I had to cut the nylon away especially in the winter to unclip the two packs and even clipping the chest pack to the nature pack was a problem. So the new clips on the venture resolved this. The other problem was access to the water pack, on the nature it was on the inside, difficult to insert. On the venture it is on the outside in back, much easier. Also, even though the venture holds the same amount of gear as the nature it is more refined, more compact, less weight more slimline. Also on the nature you only had the option of putting your tripod on the side, on the venture there is now a way to put it directly down the middle so the weight is more evenly distributed. For me it will hold my Canon 5D Mark 2 with my 24-105, a 100-400 and another lens either 100 mm macro or wide angle. The top compartment can also carry another lens as well as whatever gear you need for day hiking. It's an exceptionally well constructed pack, access to essentials is simple. Im 6 feet and thin at 165, the pack fit me perfectly first try. The waist belt is nicely padded as well as the shoulder straps. The strap to loosen the shoulder straps was tight, I had to do a bit of acrobatics to loosen it. So, I sat down and worked the strap up and down for 15 minutes and now the strap tightens and loosens without too much trouble, I expect the more I use it the smoother it will get.

So for me this was a well appreciated and worthwhile upgrade. I think I can sell my old nature and Amazon's price for this pack was entirely reasonable.

Highly recommended for the outdoor shooter that goes through some rough terrain.

I wanted to add something. I had the old chest pack, perfect fit for my Canon and a 24-105. I first ordered the new standard chest pack, too small sent it back. Then I ordered the new larger chest pack for a camera with a battery grip. After messing with it for a few days I didn't like that it was too big for just my camera and lens and I don't carry a battery grip. So I called ClikElite (BTW others have complained about their customer service, I think it's excellent) and they said to send them my old chest pack and they will replace the clips with the new ones, for free.

The backpack absolutely meets my expectations. I usually carry four lenses, including a 70-200 mm f2.8 Canon), plus assorted gear, plus a sturdy carbon fiber tripod. The backpack can accommodate all that, and has room for a lightweight jacket. It rides comfortably on my hips, and meshes well with the front camera carrier, also by Clik Elite.

I bought the pack to carry a camera, lenses, clothing, water and snacks on a very strenuous four day hike in the Andes. It was very comfortable and relatively easy to access the gear. Also, didn't have any damage. Could have used more storage options: small pockets and the ability to attach stuff to the body of the pack. Also, difficult to get a 3L bladder into the area designed for it. I will be looking to get a smaller bladder.

I bought this bag for a trip I was taking overseas and needed both my computer and my camera to go with me. It worked perfectly! It is a big bag so I would not use it for every day shooting but for travel it was exactly what I needed. I did a little shooting with it while I was traveling and it was okay. I just threw it over my shoulder messenger style and it worked well but it is a big bag so it was a little cumbersome. Be warned that when it is full with computer and camera, the bag is VERY heavy so keep that in mind as you travel. I packed this bag as full as possible which included a change of clothes, as my travel on bag. It was heavy but it was nice to have everything with me that I needed. I gave it a 4 star because I didn't love the two small zippers on the front. I put items in there that I need and found it hard to get them out, even when the bag wasn't full. I think anything other than the zipper might have made it easier to get items in/out of those pockets. Other than that I had no complaints about the bag.

I was thinking about getting either this or the Epiphanie Clover bag. I went with this one because I didn't think the other would hold my computer with its case on it. I'm glad I chose the Libby because with the case on, it was snug getting it into the Libby. I don't think it would have fit well in the Clover and I have an 15" Macbook Pro. The extra couple inches of the external case made a difference I think. If you're thinking of getting the Libby just do it; you won't be sorry :)

I ordered this case just after Christmas to protect the new Nikon P80 camera "Santa" brought me. It showed as being Temporarily Out Of Stock. Not a big deal, I thought. It took two months for it to ship. But it is worth the wait.

This might be the only camera bag for under $100 (WAY under!) that still has metal clips and rings for the strap. No cheesy plastic here. This bag is perfect for a high-zoom, point-and-shoot digital camera and ALL of the accessories; charger, extra batteries, extra memory cards, transfer cables, etc. There is even room for my wallet so that I can carry the bag as a purse when sightseeing.

I like that you have the choice of shoulder strap or carry handle. Both are padded in the right places. I love how the zippers function so that you don't risk dropping your camera when you open the bag while it is hanging from your neck. The bag is very well padded for protection of the contents. The divider and many pockets make it easy to organize all of the accessories and components you might want to carry. Yet it is still a compact bag which makes it easy to take just about anywhere. If it ever shows as being "In-Stock", I plan to buy another one for my other camera.

This bag is larger than I expected, but considerably smaller than the bag it replaces. I bought it to hold a Canon T2i and accessories (2 extra lenses, filters, extra batteries, memory cards, etc.

I was very surprised to find that it will hold both the T2i with 18-55 IS kit lens attached and the T1i with the EF 50mm f/2.5 Compact Macro lens attached, as well as an EF 75-300mm zoom, and all of the accessories I needed to carry in the case! In addition to both cameras and the extra lens, I put 4 batteries, 4 memory cards, a charger, the USB cable, 6 filters, and the book for the T2i in it, and it appears it would still have room for a smallish flash unit and quite a few more memory cards and/or batteries. Nice!

My only concern with the case is that the padding is about half as thick as the case it replaces, but I tend to be very careful with my camera gear so I am not too worried about it.

I have several bags...I think it's impossible to review one without stating what gear you carry and how you use it. So first, I'm an Olympus guy. I have an E30, an E330, and an EPL1. Second, and this is critical, I do *not* carry cameras in this bag. I have an OpTech dual harness, so the bodies are hanging from me on the straps---or sometimes I use just one body, hanging from a regular neck strap. Inside the bag I might carry a flash, a cord that allows off camera flash, and 3 lenses. Which lenses? That depends on what I don't have on the camera at the time. I can squeeze in a 70-300, 14-54, and 9-18 in the main compartment (+ flash as mentioned)---not micro four thirds lenses, the originals. But again, I use Olympus. That gear tends to run smaller than other manufacturers, and while the lenses aren't micro, they're not the larger super high grade stuff.

Back to purpose. Keeping the camera in the bag is a "transport" issue, like if you're going through airports. For that? This bag isn't probably great, though it does have padding. Even with a Pelican you're not going to manhandle delicate electronics so if it's carry on, you should be ok. Last time I took a big trip I used 2 larger cases for the flight but folded up the Dolica in my suitcase for use once I got there. If I had a really big bag that held absolutely everything, would I really want to *carry* everything all the time? No, I leave some of the stuff at the hotel, like the chargers for batteries and so on. If I carry a laptop/netbook---which won't fit in the Dolica---do I really want to lug it through the woods where I'm photographing? No, I need to get it to the hotel but I don't need it with me 24/7. (PS-About the camera in the bag: every time you remove and reattach a lens, you're just inviting dust on the sensor. Many bags are designed for you to carry it with lens detached (put the body cap on) because it's a friendlier shape to fit. But if you insist on keeping the camera in the bag, I recommend one that doesn't require removing the lens).

And since sometimes I don't feel like carrying much at all, I have a smaller (non-Dolica) bag as well. But people probably want a bag that can do everything and I don't think it exists. Why carry a suitcase size when all you want is an extra lens and battery that day, for instance? But on a big shoot that little bag falls far short. Some bags may expand but when you factor in price, it's easier just to go with multiple bags.

My .25 star deduction comes from long-term performance. The over the shoulder strap was starting to really wear, so I gorilla taped it. Ghetto but effective. That's my main gripe...the edges/corners are starting to fray as well but it's nowhere near failure. Given how much I use it though, that's minor. It's my go-to bag. Bang for the buck and quibbling aside, I don't think you can do much better. I see others have had QC issues. I wish Dolica would sweat the details and charge $10 more.

Pelican makes GREAT cases, this is one of them. I store my g-drive in there for transport all over town. Pits perfectly and it is also protected from moisture. I can still read the label on the drive. Love this case.

I got this case for my Nikon Coolpix camera when I am at the pool, lake or water parks with the kids. I use it more often than I thought as it is not too heavy and the camera fits perfectly. I did not realize that these cases are not water proof like the OtterBoxes, they are only water resistant.
