This case is a great, small package for my underwater camera. The camera fits perfect, also having a little pocket on the inside to put a drivers license or credit card in, or even an extra camera card. I can carry mine in my purse, and not worry about my lens getting scratched, and it takes up no extra room.

I needed a bag for my Canon XF 100.

This is the only bag which appeared to have all the features of a "pro" bag, but was decently priced.

I guess you get what you pay for...

So, as a quality engineering person, let me review the bag in such terms:

Functionality:

The bag is long enough to hold a Canon XF 100, a shotgun microphone.

It has two side pockets and I was barely able to fit the absolutely necessary accessories e.g., the power supply

I found the internal "net pocket" to be well designed.

Liked the 2 adjustable straps

Liked the fact that the bag is "configurable" i.e., you can create compartments by moving the padding around on the Velcro.

Definitely no room for the tele-converter

However, it is not tall enough to hold the assembled microphone holder and not wide enough for any accessories or a medium silica gel bag!

Usability:

The basic design is quite good, and I like the way the bag opens

But the bag is waaaaaaay too small!

Even the shoulder strap is waaaay to small!!

Performance/Durability:

The material is quite strong and appears to be water-proof.

I also found that the stitching is quite good

Price:

There is simply nothing else for this price. The other brands e.g., APE, TAMRAC, etc. are all at least double -

Overall, I would recommend the bag, but marginally. If you can disassemble the microphone holder from your camcorder, and if you carry few accessories, it may be for you.

Well constructed and plenty of room for my gear. Adjustable dividers provide flexibility for different sized cameras and accessories.

I have owned this bag for about 18 months. I wanted a bag to carry my laptop and Camera. Until I purchased this bag, I had been carrying two bags. This bag looks like a large brief case/laptop bag. You cannot tell it has a camera with lenses inside. Easy access to the laptop via separate zipper (can also access from inside) without opening and showing the world your camera. Also have a protective case for a portable hard drive. Holds my ThinkPad T-400, Nikon D-300s with 18-270 lens, extra lenses, SB900, two SB600, plus my FreeAgent hard drive. I still have a little room to carry a few files if needed. Fits nicely under plane seat or in overhead. I carry it everywhere as a brief case. I can go to meetings and have my camera close by to use if needed or if I want to stop and take photos on the way home. I did replace the shoulder strap with an UPSTRAP so it would not slip off while walking. My favorite feature about this bag is the zippers. Once closed, you cannot see them unless you are looking. Nothing about this bag says camera inside. Like I said, very incognito. Mine is all black.

Update: I'm still using this bag after 3 years, though not as much. I originally rated this 5 stars but have since dropped one star. Tenba's advertisin states:"Tenba's exclusive Covert Closure system features an "invisible" flap buckle use it when you don't want to zip the bag fully shut* Mine broke after 2years of use. Strap ripped out so its not repairable, my reason for dropping a star.

Still a nice bag and I have no regrets buying it. It's my goto travel bag.

The case is a perfect fit for my Sony T-77 and it's a great quality. However, I will be buying a different case. This doesn't fit my particular needs. I don't wear belts and the belt loop on it is permanently attached so I can't pass it through my belt loop and snap it on, it has no strap with which to carry it (so I use the camera strap hanging out the side to carry it), and, although it's a minor issue for most, when I am carrying only my camera and not a purse, I slip credit cards, cash, & ID into the case. The magnet on the case wipes out the data on the magnetic strips if I forget and put them on the front side of the case.

The sony site doesn't show this as compatible with the T500 (or pretty much any other case), but it fits perfectly. I was worried since the T500 specs show it as slightly larger than the T300, but rest assured, it fits like a glove. As noted in the other review, it is a hard case, which I actually prefer for it's added protection. It is a bit bulky as well so this will not be friendly to tight pockets. The quality is top notch however.

Buy here rather than a fake one off ebay. Same with memory sticks a large percentage of ebay memory sticks are fake.

This is sturdy well-made case. I bought this one for my Canon PowerShot IS model. This model is slightly bigger than normal point & shoot camera but far smaller than DSLR. Not many cases can contain my camera but this one could. Also I could contain essentials for my camera such as extra battery, memory stick etc. as well. Overall I was satisfied with the product's quality. However, the design of hook of the case's shoulder strap is absolutely disaster. It is advertised that easily removable. In my mind, it is way too much easily removable. Case often separated from shoulder strap after few pumps. You couldn't have run or ride a horse or a car, when you had had your camera in the case and strapped it using shoulder strap. I was forced to use the case just to protect my camera in the field. I couldn't use it as a carrier of camera which would have been nice.

Here is the feedback at various levels -

1. Ordering & Shipping Easy to order(Thanks to Amazon); I ordered it on November 19, 2012 thru regular shipping (Not Prime) and was expecting it not before Nov. 30. I got it on Nov 24, 2012. Considering the holiday season I will give the shipping 10/10

2. Package and Handling Packaging was done in a sturdy card board box with sufficient cushioning of bubble wrap-around the kit. The Tripod was into the manufaturer's (Precision) box inside the big card board box safe and secure. Absolutely no issues on this too. 10/10

3. Inside the box The Lowepro 250 bag looks neat, compact and look like the pictures on item advertisement. The condition (& smell ;) ) of the bag tells its a brand new bag. I tested it by placing my Nikon D7K, 2 lenses, IPAD, Galaxy S-2, extra batteries (Camera & Phone), small notebook with Pen. All fit perfectly, I felt it a bit tight but probably with passage of time it will loosen up to acquire the shape of the objects. There are 2 side pockets, sufficient for a small (12 oz.) water bottle or maps etc. I did not try using those pockets at this point. Overall 8/10 for the bag in this price range.

4. I will surely be using this bag in next couple of months on my trips and will write back on how it held the ground. I will also put my feedback on the tripod and usefulness of the kit that came with this deal.

This case is NOT big enough for the Panasonic Lumix LX7 despite being advertised as compatible with that camera. It may be a fine case for a slightly smaller camera.

Fits Olympus SZ12 with add-on screen sun shade. Snug I think that's good with barely enough room for a spare battery and SD card. Double Velcro on belt loop and and positive click flap closure keeps camera secure.
