Because of the high quality material and workmanship and design, I brought 2 brown and a black case of these cases sold by Mega West. Since I already wrote a review for the brown case, here I would like to offer additional experience using the cases.

I also have a Sony HX30V. Its dimensions are very close to the RX100. However, the lower half of this case is perfectly fitted for the RX100 and will not fit the HX30V. If anyone is thinking about using the case for another similarly sized Sony camera, I would say our best hope is that Mega West would offer this type of cases for other cameras soon.

Unlike couple of reviewers' experiences that their cameras were not "balanced", my experience is the opposite. Indeed, unlike the Sony version which the strap attachment rings on the case are attached to the case vertically, the Mega West case has its attached at a slight tilt to the vertical, thus effectively tilting the case and thus the camera top towards the body. It is an indication that the design was given lots of thought.

CORRECTION: Upon further inspection, one of my 3 cases did not have the attachments as tilted as the other two, and I found that the attachments could be rotated to whatever angle you want! They are pretty tight once you leave them at an angle. How nice is that?

I tried to attach something to the right side of the camera to improve its grip using glue and Velcro, but they were messy and started to affect the paint and finish of the camera. With the bottom half of the case attached to the camera, the grip is improved. To further provide a bigger handle but not to touch the camera anymore after my failed attempts in attaching things directly to the camera, I attached a strip of Velcro to the lower left corner of the case (It is another reviewer's idea to use Velcro). Now the camera still could fit into the case nicely and the grip is so much more secure.

Addionally, the opening on the side of the case allows the camera to be charged via the USB cable with the case closed, just in case I accidentally pull on the cable and knock the camera to the floor.

Lastly, I found that attaching the wrist strap to the attachment point on the camera which is located right next to the USB port door prevented the door from opening, and I almost broke this door hinge trying to open it over the strap loops. Since the case has a nice ring attached with a tilt off the center of the camera, I am able to relocate the wrist strap to the case's ring and away from the USB door. Couple design issues with the camera are thus resoluted by using this nicely designed case.

This is a sweet little case for the Sony RX100, it looks exactly as it does in the product photographs, a nice "retro" look for this very small camera. The case wraps around the sides of the camera and the back and lens cover snaps off for taking photographs, or this piece can be easily removed. As other reviewers have said, it attaches to the tripod hole for security and has a threaded piece to attach a tripod with the case body in place. It certainly looks better than I expected for the small price, and it makes the Sony case price look a bit foolish. If the case gets in your way you could attach the neckstrap provided with the case directly to the crazy, hard to attach, neckstrap adaptors provided by Sony for the camera. Bright light, really good eyesight and manual dexterity required to put those little suckers in the tiny, tiny loops on the sides of the camera!

I bought this for my recently bought RX100 camera. This is my first case that is designed to be used while still attached to the camera.

Looks:

Looks like the Sony case, without the badging. Case looks good.

Materials:

Outside material is good. Seems to be rugged

Inside material is smooth and looks to be good for the prevention of scratches.

Metal fasteners are rather tight on my case. Seem well secured to the fake (?) leather case

Straps appear to be strong

Weight:

Adds some heft to the camera, but not too bad.

Fit:

Note, this case is not specifically tailored for the RX-100. As is described in the advertising. I understand that the Sony case is a better fit and does not cover the USB port.

There is about an inch clearance from the the top of the case and the top of the camera. Not too annoying actually, and may even be beneficial for impacts from the top.

All the ports, etc are covered. The most annoying is the blockage of the micro USB port. This means you constantly have to remove the entire case, not just the top flap, to download your pictures/movies

Overall:

I would have given this case five stars if it did not cover the micro usb port. I understand the need to block the speakers, battery, etc...but it seems like the USB port need to be. It is however just covered, so I have cut the case to make space for the usb male plug to fit. Because I had to perform some repairs on my own, and made the case look rather weird as a result, I provided 3 stars.

Upon sticker shock at the $85 Sony Sophisticated Leather-Like Jacket Case LCJRXA/B, I fortunately found this one for $14.99. Looks, feels and smells like real leather. Fits like a glove. Seems identical to Sony's in every way except it lacks the logo. Sure am glad I didn't get the overpriced Sony version.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is WAY better than the official Sony case. Very sturdy leather. It's quick to unsnap and take a picture. The cover does "hang" off the camera when unsnapped, and is sort of awkward, but I don't see how they could have avoided this.

All in all, a definite need for this camera. I've already dropped it twice, and this case saved me.

Love this bag our studio dedicated it to a NIKON CLS system we went all "McNally" for small editorial portrait shoots. This roller by ThinkTank is like all ThinkTank products well designed, engineered and constructed. It is big think of it as an Airport Security on steroids. I was a tester for the original Airport Security before it became a roller and I own a fair amount of ThinkTank bags and rollers.

PRO: well designed, solid, many options for layouts.

CON: It is heavy, but will take abuse from airline gorillas and second assistants.

Like all Tamrac bags, this one is well-made and attractive. Unfortunately, the bag is not quite large enough to contain my DSLR with attached lens. I made the mistake of purchasing it from a vendor (not Amazon). They were quite willing to refund my purchase, but the return postage of about $10 makes no sense for a $16 item. I'll give the bag to a friend or family member who has a slightly smaller camera. The seller is fair and honest but I'll try to stick to buying directly from Amazon in future.

This is designed for a small DSLR, and I'm sure it would be fine for that. However, I shoot mainly while hiking; I like to keep extra lenses & filters handy without carrying a huge bag around. It's perfect for 2 good-sized lenses if you move one of the velcro pads to the middle; I can even stack two short ones on one side if I really think I need to carry 3. The pocket has plenty of room for extra memory cards, lens wipes, & a filter or two. Small enough to stay out of the way, just big enough to carry what I need.

One of the "problems" all photographers face is how to carry their gear that keeps them safe, yet easily accessible. The Lowepro Street and Field waistbelt system is a perfect solution to this problem.

Sometimes when I go hiking, I carry my Canon Digital Rebel in the Tamrac Velocity 7 sling bag. It offers me quick access to the camera. Unfortunately, the Velocity 7 isn't very large and can't hold my Canon 100~400 f/4.5-f/5.6L IS lens, as well as miscellaneous gear, like a water bottle.

That's where the Lowpro Street and Field waistbelt comes in help. I am now able to customize the belt with different pouches, depending on that I kind of gear I want to haul.

The Lowepro Street and Field Pouch 20 is large enough to fit most point and shoot cameras. It has a draw string with lock under the opening flap to provide extra protection. The SlipLock attachment tabs provide two layers of velco attachments, making it easy to remove, yet very secure from accidental removal.

For photographers that often carry a lot of lenses, the Lowepro Street & Field waistbelt and it's various pouches are a sound investment.

I have been trying to find a way to easily carry a lot of camera equipment for quite some time. I have tried backpacks, shoulder bags, duffel bags, but none of them really worked all that well. Then I saw the Lowepro Street and Field system with completely customizable pouches, vests, belts, and accessories. It works great, you only get the pouches you need so there is no waisted space and you can organize them however you want according to how often they are used (put frequently used items in easier to access places.)

The variety alone of this system is worth the investment, but the quality and ease of use is also very high which is a big plus. You can get a case for any lens, camera body, or accessory you have. I even have cases for my cell phone and water bottle. One word of caution, be sure to measure your lens with the lens hood on backwards if you use them to make sure that the entire thing will fit into the pouch, because sometimes the lens will fit, but then the lens with the lens hood will not. I often carry 5-6 lenses, extension tubes, teleconverters, extra memory cards and batteries, and a bunch of cleaning supplies and other gadgets, which weights a ton. But when they are evenly distributed on this vest/belt Lowepro system it is actually very manageable.

The only down side is that everyone will be staring at you because you have thousands of dollars of camera equipment strapped to your body. But if you can overlook that, this is the way to go. I have used this system at many zoos without ever having problems, in fact just unzipping a single lens and switching seems safer to me than opening an entire bag of equipment every time you want to switch lenses. Many of the cases also come with a built in rain/snow cover so if the weather changes all of your equipment is not destroyed. You can also put just a few pouches on a normal belt when you are just going to take photos in the back yard or don't need to take all of your equipment, which is nice. I really can't say enough about how much easier this makes traveling with a lot of equipment, if you have been hopelessly searching for a better solution, consider this, you won't regret it.

This case is pretty decent quality: nice fabric, good zipper, clip and lanyard, not a lot of padding, but definitely better than just the fabric bag that comes with the Flip. However, this case did not fit my Flip. It should fit 1st generation, 3rd generation and the Mino, but it does not fit 2nd generation Flip UltraHD camcorders, which are considerably thicker than the other models.

Do not get this if you have the larger Flip, it will not fit comfortably. It will be very tight and put a lot of stress on the seams when zippered.

I've given it four stars, even though I've returned it, because there is no fault with its manufacture or quality, the fault lies with the merchant who did not list which models were appropriate for the case. I would recommend it for any of the other models.

Even though it is soft, provides the perfect security for my camera. I bought it for a Kodak V1003 and it fits perfectly and have extra room for another battery and my card reader. Mostly I like this case, but I do have a couple issues. First, since it was supposedly designed for small cameras like my Olympus 770SW, I don't understand why it isn't a little more form-fitting. I could have gotten a small universal case like this at any Target or Fred Meyer store-my camera practically swam in it. Second, the pockets in the front and back are open on top. At least one of the pockets should close-with velcro or a snap or something-to keep tiny things like memory cards from falling out. I also wish it had more than just a velcro flap to hold it closed. On the plus side, the neoprene is soft and cushiony, it has both a velcro belt-loop and a carrying handle, and is small enough to fit in a coat pocket. All in all it is a nice case, just not quite what I had hoped it would be.

This holster pack is very well worth the money! It is built very well, sturdy and very good looking. The color is not quite as bright as the photo it is more a lighter lavender, pretty none the less. It is large enough for my Canon T3 with the 18-55 mm lens attached. There is a sewn in cleaning cloth with a little pocket to stuff the cloth into out of the way or do as I do stretch it completely across the LCD screen to prevent scratching from my camera strap which also fits if folded back and forth across the top. A little pocket on the outside has a net pocket on the inside of it for memory cards and such, the pocket itself I had put my covers from the camera body and back end of lens. Nice padded handle on the top and a double velcro loop to hook around your belt if you wear one. The strap and hooks are pretty solid and the entire body of the case is padded with nylon zippers. Shipping from the UK to the eastern central US was less than a week and a half. I'd give this product a 10 rating if that was possible, good purchase!

Really nice padding, like almost feels like memory foam, the whole way around the inside of the case. Super soft material inside too, and came with a lens cloth attached to the inside, which I love cause I won't lose it and it will always be with me. Nice padded shoulder strap too if you have a heavy camera, but the bag is so lightweight I hardly know I'm carrying it. Nice, and big, plenty of room for my camera. I have an Olympus sp-720uz and you could almost fit 2 of them in there.

The only con is that it doesn't have a lot of extra storage space. It has a small front pocket, which is big enough for my charger to go in and that's about it. But for me, that's really all I need.

I'd outgrown my small Lowepro bag and it was time to upgrade, but I didn't want a traditional bag that screams "CAMERA BAG! STEAL ME!" so I started to look at canvas messenger bag styles. I wanted a Billingham, but I didn't want to spend the price of a macro lens on it. Domke was nice, but also pricey. I saw this one and the size seemed right.

It is a bit bigger than I'd envisioned, but I don't usually walk around with a camera bag. Most times I simply go out with one lens on the camera and have at it. I needed a bag to travel with and it is a good carry-on size, and fits well in the car. It fits my Nikon D7000, three prime lenses, an SB400 flash, my 13 inch MacBook, my iPad, a Coolpix 6200 and all of the chargers and connectors for same with room left over. I canibalized an old Tamrac bag for extra inserts (they were even the same color) to give more protection. If I take out the insert I could use it as a small overnight bag should I need to flee the country.

It wasn't a Koolerton, but rather a Courser bag that I got. No big deal as neither is a name brand. The build quality looks good and it should wear nicely. On a side note, I loved the bad translation in the product description of the product.

From the picture from the seller the product looks very large. For me it is a perfect size. Not as big as it looks in the picture. Plenty of room for my new Sony SLR and a couple of lens. plus room for cords and battery charger and my ipad too. Still room for my wallet and a water bottle in the outside pocket. This bag seems to be built to last. It hasn't gotten any super heavy wear from me yet, but it has been helpful in carrying around my camera, an extra lens, a cleaning kit, a wallet, the camera charger, and other little extras for every-day life. I love the extra outside pockets and the sections inside. The only downside is that this bag is HUGE to carry around, but what else can you expect if you want space on the inside? Still, I have gotten tons of compliments on my cool-looking bag. I would recommend it for sure.

I live overseas and do a signficant amount of international traveling. I bought this camera bag because I was looking for something that a) didn't scream "camera bag"; b) could be construed as casual and cute (when compared to other camera bags); and c) had a small compartment to hold my passports. It has completely lived up to all expectations. This bag has room for my DSLR, an extra lens (or two if you want the weight), my wallet, phones, an extra jacket, a water bottle, and my kindle. It is perfect for day long excursions (though you have to be careful about the weight because it can hold more than you might want to carry). It's a little wider than a normal messenger bag would be so it is a little bulky, but considering what I wanted it to do, this is the best bag for me. Finally, its multiple compartments, zippers, and the flap over the top add an extra deterent to pickpockets. I'm able to keep my wallet and passports in the small zipper pocket inside the big zipper compartment, under the snapped flap. Overall, I'd say this is an excellent camera bag for any serious tourist/traveler.

There really is nothing not to like about this little camera bag. I was initially looking for something that was along the lines of the traditional leather camera covers that we used on our film bodies back in the day. Canon and Nikon had some nice two piece camera cases that were snug-fitting and were meant just to cover the camera. this bag comes as close to that as I could find online these days. The quality of manufacture is good to excellent. My Nikon D7000 fits nicely with a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8, polarizer and lens cap fitted to the camera. You can slide a cell phone into one of the side pockets or other small items.

The first thing I have to say is that this case is for the Kindle 2. Many people have complained about it not fitting the Kindle 3, but that's because it's not designed to.

That being said, I love this case for my Kindle 2, it works extremely well, fits great, and has an extremely classy feel to it for the price.

Received this case as a gift along with my third generation 6" Kindle. As another reviewer had mentioned, this case was designed for the larger second generation 6" Kindle, but there is no mention of this other than a small picture of what looks like the second generation Kindle of the product packaging. As a result, the third generation Kindle does not fit snuggly into the case and the case itself is larger than it need to be for this version of the device. Despite this, however, the Kindle 3 fits just well enough that users will not have to worry about it coming loose or falling out. The case itself is nicely designed and features am extremely smooth, soft exterior along with some interior left side pockets. While some may prefer a case specifically made for the Kindle 3, this case will suite the needs for most third generation owners at a much more affordable price point.

Overall, despite not being designed for the Kindle 3 this case is still a solid value and a great alternative to the much more pricey Kindle cases on the market.

The Kindle slides inside the straps that are meant to secure it to the case.I have had the Kindle drop out of the case. Not much protection there.

I have a Kindle 3G and just bought my husband Kindle 3 Wifi only and this case does not fit, it is too big.

Bought it at Radio Shack so will be going back to store.

Other than that it would be a great case, if my kindle would fit in it without falling out, it would cover well and nice for the price.

This case is NOT big enough for the Panasonic Lumix LX7 despite being advertised as compatible with that camera. It may be a fine case for a slightly smaller camera.

This is a great case and the fact that it will fit on your belt, is a great feature and easy access. I just wish there was a little spacee in the bag for the charging wire and ac adapter. Other than that, it's all thiunbs up

Fits Olympus SZ12 with add-on screen sun shade. Snug I think that's good with barely enough room for a spare battery and SD card. Double Velcro on belt loop and and positive click flap closure keeps camera secure.
