This bag fits the Canon Rebel Xsi perfectly. I wanted a bag that was small enough to be truly portable and not look like I'm a photography nut. The bag snugly fits the camera with the the 18-200 lens attached and my kit lens (18-55mm) and my 50mm lens in the bag. I also store my SD cards, battery, charger, and some cables. That is it! I have been using Lowepro bags for a long time and I'm always amazed at the simplicity of the design. This bag is perfect as my daily grab-and-go bag for my Pentax K-7 kit. It's weather-proof, just like my Pentax gear so I don't have to worry about the occasional rain or snow shower. I keep my SLR with a prime lens in one side (actually laying on the side with the grip facing up for quick access) and have room on the other side for another lens and some filters. The strap is well made and is easy to adjust. The zippers are well made and zip easily open and closed. The bag has an overall well-made fit and finish and is a joy to use. The top handle is padded and very comfortable to hold for short periods or while moving the bag around. Like most other top-flap designed bags, the handle on the top isn't very useful unless the bag is zippered and clasped closed. A short handle strap instead of a handle would have been a better choice for me, but I'm really nitpicking here.

The memory card pockets and zippered pocket on the inside face of the top cover are perfectly placed. There are a couple of elastic pockets on the outside of each end of the bag along with a zippered pocket on the back (probably only large enough for pamphlets or a map) as well as a compact zippered pocket on the front where I keep some smaller filters. If you have a compact DSLR and are looking for a compact bag to go along with it, I would highly recommend this bag. I can sling it over my shoulder and take it with me wherever I go and it hardly weighs anything. Highly recommended!

I use my bag told hold my Rebel XS as well as all my lenses and have no complaints so far. The lenses I keep in the bag are the Canon 55-250mm IS with hood reversed, the Canon 50mm f1.8, and the Canon 18-55mm IS. I can store all of them without feeling like I am cramming too much in, and can store the camera with any of the lenses attached to it. I had looked at the Nova 140, but it did not have enough space to hold the camera with the 55-250 attached, so it was out. This bag also has lots of pockets for all the goodies you need to carry, including USB cable, cards, filters, etc. This would not work for a full frame camera, but for a consumer SLR such as the Rebel XS, this fits the bill quite nicely.

This is my second Nova 160 bag--the first one (bought 10 years ago) is still going strong, but I needed a second. This bag is convenient in all the right ways. I have used this when backpacking. The small loops on the top rear of the bag allow it to be hung with carabiners from D rings on my pack straps so that the bag rides on my lower chest. This allows quick and convenient access when the wonderful vistas appear.

The older bag dated from the film camera era and had pocket designs to match (e.g., a removable film pouch for the front zippered pocket). The major difference with the new bag is pocket layout. The front pocket is somewhat smaller, and there is some reduction in volume from the folded all-weather cover which tucks under the front flap. The inside top pocket is also smaller, but the outside top flap pocket more than makes up for it. I can't easily fit the SD cards or CF cards (in their protective cases) into the inside card pockets, but they can be forced in or out. The zippered pocket at the back is the same as in the earlier model, and convenient for your camera guide and for stowing other flat documents. The all-weather cover is a newer and valuable feature.

Outside attachment points are well designed: shoulder strap attachments (strap is included with the bag), belt loop attachments (belt sold separately: check your local backpacking store for cheap wide nylon straps and fasteners) and the top loops at the back for front mounting the bag to your pack straps.

You can easily stow a digital SLR with mounted lens, one additional small to medium sized lens, two screw-on filters, a couple of lens hoods, and maybe your battery charger and cord (with tight packing).

I like it for my camera Canon Powershot SSX260 for suitcase/ briefcase travel and in my purse. There is an extra interior pocket for a cord or other accessory but not room for the battery charger. It is hard enough to be protective. That makes it rather big for slipping in a jacket or pants pocket but it serves the purpose I bought it for. I may buy a stretchy smaller case for more portability but still would use this one also depending on situation. It is attractive and the 2 zippers allows you to leave the camera strap hanging out of the case if you want.

I searched and searched for a case for my new Cannon PowerShot SX260. I always have my camera in my purse. So I wanted something that would do a decent job protecting it from anything that might bang into it, or even a stray pen (or anything else pointy in there) that might end up poking it. So I didn't really want just a simple fabric case.

This case is sturdy and thick enough I don't feel like anything will be able to poke through it and hurt or scratch up my camera in any way. It's light weight enough and it's a decent color. My camera fits in the case well, but you can't really fit much else in there with it. It does have a nice little pocket inside, but when I put my extra battery in it I had to shake/move it around a bit to get the case to zip up. An SD card would probably fit ok though. It also has a little velcro strap inside to make your camera extra secure. It's a nice feature and I like that it's there, but I don't tend to use it much.

All in all I am happy with this purchase. It keeps my camera nice and safe. The only draw back is that there isn't room for anything else in there with it. That wasn't a huge deal for me though, so as long as it isn't a problem for you then I would recommend this case!

I keep my Canon PS ELPH 520HS in here when I travel. It has room for the USB cable, spare SD card

and a spare battery. If it were just a little larger, I could keep the battery charger in it.

It has a hard, but flexible shell. The zipper is excellent quality. A cheap carbinier (sp?)

lets you hook it to a belt loop or backpack ring.

I bought this after having bought a smaller, simpler, cloth case for the tiny Canon 520HS.

I didn't think the smaller one offered any crush protection. The larger one does.

I would recommend it.

Cheap Aktiv Pak AP5 All-Weather Digital SLR Camera Holster Case with Rain

I used this to protect my 7D on a recent trip to Asia and it worked very well with my 135mm lens attached. The camera barely fit with this lens attached, but it worked when I placed the camera and strap a certain way. It is nicely padded and has just enough room for a spare battery, memory card and battery charger. This is a great choice if you have limited space in your luggage like I did or if you want additional padded protection in your regular bag. I had to travel light on this trip and this product provided ample protection for my camera. I am sure that the rain cover would have worked well in Taiwan's many rain storms if I had taken my camera with me on some of my side trips, so this is a bonus feature of the product.

I have a Canon T3i, i have been looking for a carrying bag, because the one that came with my SLR when i bought it is too big and bulky,its heavy to carry it around. i found this Aktiv Pak AP5 and it look good. i got the product in the time i was told, its much smaller that what it looked. i can only fit one Lens and my SLR in the bag not much room for more. I do love the all weather protection case that come with it, also the bags to carry extra SD cards. I have not yet been able to use the case because i travel until August. For what its worth i think its a good buy, but i will definitely need to buy a bigger one soon, so that i can at least fit 2 lenses and my SLR in it.

The all-weather is not really what it says it is. I hike in the forests around Hawaii taking macro shots and I never know when i'll get stuck in the rain. I got this so that my camera would be protected... If i were walking and standing upright all the time then this product would be ok. But i'm usually crawling through thickets of ferns and it really exposes the opening of the "rainfly".

If i were to improve this product, I would have a cover with a waterproof zipper that protected it even if it were submerged in water or was exposed to heavy rain.

This is exactly what I was looking for, a compact case to carry my dslr when I'm out and about. It's perfect for carrying just the camera with attached lens (although it's not good for too long a lens), cable, card, battery, and that's about it. Just right for events where I don't want to be encumbered with a lot of gear, but don't want to spend the whole time with a camera around my neck. It fits comfortably slung around my shoulder and is extremely light weight yet sturdy.

This lens case was designed for Canon and Nikon 70-300mm zoom lenses. My Nikon 70-300mm, with the lens hood in storage position, is a perfect fit in this case. And when I say perfect I mean perfect...perfect diameter and height...fits like a glove. Being a Tamrac, the case has good padding. I'm not worried at all about bumping the case in a door frame as I'm walking through.

The biggest deficiency of this case is the fact that it's a M.A.S. case (Tamrac's Modular Accessory System) and isn't designed to be carried by itself. It's got a big flap on the rear that is held down by Velcro and snaps. This is used to attach the case to a Tamrac M.A.S. bag, or you can slip the flap behind your belt and carry it as a belt attachment (Tamrac actually sells a belt for carrying your M.A.S. add-ons.) When used as designed, the case works perfectly. However, I wanted to carry via shoulder strap as a separate case. I searched several camera-bag websites, as well as Amazon and others, and couldn't find a lens case that was such a good fit for my 70-300mm. So I bought this case anyways.

All you really need is a smidgen of ingenuity and you can find several ways to carry this case. Besides on the belt, the easiest is just attach it to a nylon strap via the flap, and carry it as a cross-shoulder bag...done. I also find that I can attach it to my Tamrac Express 6 (non M.A.S. bag) fairly easily. I can put it on the strap, or using a small piece of wire or metal rod I can attach it to the side of the bag (see pics.)

So for the price, it really can't be beat. Just make sure that you consider how you're going to carry it around. If you don't already have a Tamrac M.A.S. bag and you're ingenuity-challenged, then this might not be the lens case for you. :p Otherwise...recommended.

I bought this case for my Tamron model 572DM AF70-300 (Minolta) lens, which has a 118.5 mm length, and a diameter of 76.6 mm. The lens is a perfect fit inside the bag.

The case is a soft case, but is rugged and appears to be able to take abrasive wear without difficulty. The zipper is sturdy. There is cushioning at the top and bottom of the bag, to provide some impact protection for your lens...but I would suggest some care anyways, as lenses are fine instruments, eh?

I purchased this lens case specifically to house my Nikkor 70-300mm which, as many reading this already know, does not come with a case as does the more expensive 14-22mm & 24-70mm lenses but instead comes with a totally worthless felt bag. I did some research and found that this Tamrac bag would work for the 70-300mm and indeed it does. It works perfectly. Actually, they're such a nice case that I'm seriously considering buying a Tamrac case for my 14-24 and 24-70 lenses. Unlike the Nikon softcases, there is a very handy velcro and hard snap connector on the back of the case that allows you to attach it securely to your pack or whatever you would like. It's a much better design that the loop on the back of the Nikon bags.

Bottom line is this if you're looking for a softcase to hold your longer lenses like the Nikkor 70-300mm, this case is perfect. Can you jump up and down on it or send it thru the airport baggage without breaking the lens NO. If that's the kind of case you want then go see Pelican cases. But if it's just something to keep your lens in so you can add it to your bag on the way out on a hike, this bag is for you!

The build quality of Tamrac gear is consistently very good to excellent. The materials are usually high quality, and the construction and workmanship are very good. These things are pretty much true for the Tamrac MX5378 lens case, which can accommodate a mid-sized lens up to about 6.3 inches long, with a diameter up to about 3.8 inches. There is padding on all sides, and the top and bottom ends. The padding feels solid, but could stand to be a little thicker on the sides.

As part of Tamrac's Modular Accessory System (MAS) the case is designed to be attached to Tamrac bags with MAS provisions, Tamrac's photographer's belt, or any normal belt or suitable strap. The case has a 2.8 inch wide flap on the back, which attaches to the case body with 2 inch wide Velcro strips, and two metal snaps. I would prefer that the case not slide around too much when attached, but unfortunately it slides freely with quite a bit of play on one of my bags. Despite the looseness, the grip seems to be fairly secure. A very powerful physical blow might be able to detach the case, but otherwise it probably will remain attached.

Because of the high cost of the individual components, I am not a big fan of MAS. Eighteen dollars for a water bottle holder (Tamrac M.A.S. Water Bottle in Padded Carrier (Black)), just seems outrageous! This entire approach by Tamrac seems kind of lazy, and a bit of a money grab. As I now own several bags with MAS provisions, I can see some benefit in being able to swap MAS components between bags. However, as the number of photographers who have several MAS bags, must be a small percentage of Tamrac's customers, to my way of thinking, the needs of most Tamrac customers, are not being served very well.

Tamrac's major competitor is Lowepro. While I generally prefer Tamrac gear because of the build quality, I do also own some Lowepro gear. Lowepro has an accessory system similar to MAS called SlipLock. Neither brand will mention it, but SlipLock components will also attach to Tamrac's MAS.

My Lowepro Lens Case 3 (LC3) (Lowepro Lens Case 3 (Black)) attaches perfectly to the MAS provisions on my Tamrac bags. The LC3 is designed to carry a large telephoto lens, and is larger and has a much heavier layer of padding, than the MX5378 case. The SlipLock attachment system is slightly different, but is more secure than Tamrac's MAS. The fit is tighter, and the case does not slide around as much. On the lid, Lowepro uses double zippers, which are more convenient, although there is no protective flap over the zipper.

Since the LC3 is more secure, and does a better job of protecting a lens, I don't have any problem taking a turn to the "dark side", and attaching a Lowepro case to my Tamrac gear. When it comes to lens cases, Lowepro seems to do a better job with the padding, and the attachment system. The LC3 case is a five star product that is quite reasonably priced. If you need a big lens case, I would recommend it in a heartbeat over Tamrac's MX5380 case (Tamrac MX5380 Modular Accessory System Extra Large Lens Case), which looks like it has the same level of padding as the MX5378.

Between the two brands, Lowepro's prices for comparable components are usually lower, and they provide more variety. You should verify the interchangeability of the particular gear you are interested in, but any Lowepro gear that fits on Tamrac MAS, means more options for photographers. Tamrac's MX5378 case is OK, but Lowepro gear, like their Lens Case 1N (Lowepro Lens Case 1N (Black)), seems to be a superior option.

I was looking for a case that would fit my cannon s5is and have enough room for extra batteries, cables, memory cards, users manuals, and a little room for misc. items. I found what i was looking for. The camera fits snuggly in the main compartment but not so tight that the lens cap pops off everytime you take it out or put it back in. It is very nicely made with heavy duty zippers on all four of the exterior compartments plus the main compartment. This was exactly what i was looking for, i had no problem finding a space for everything I really liked the full length pocket on the back that holds my manuals perfectly just in case i need them. I looked at alot of different cases trying to find one that would not only fit my camera just right but give me that little extra room as well. I'm very happy with this case and for the price about as perfect as i could find. If you have a smaller camera this one might be a little big for you but if you have a larger ultrazoom type camera it works perfect and it's still small enough to pack around with you on a day trip

I got this case to hold my Panasonic Lumix DSLR DMC-G3. The case is a perfect size for the camera and accessories (although I am not carrying any additional lenses which would be a challenge). The case also has nice storage for the battery charger and an additional battery, as well as additional memory cards. After purchasing my D5000 fantastic Nikon camera, I wanted a way to protect it, but not limit easy access to the D5000 many buttons... "This Snugit Skin was/is that answer to my wish to protect!" All buttons activated through this skin work perfectly! "No issues!" Plus,,, I have used it for most of the summer and I can now highly recommend it after giving it a good work out! Most camera protection cases delay access to the camera when there is only just second or two to capture a great shot... Things like unsnapping, then twirling the cover off to get it out-of-the-way, basically takes too much time to which this snug fitting solution "totally leaps beyond!" With a flip off of the lens cap and toggling the D5000 power switch, I am ready-to-go knowing that my camera is protected with a strong rubber outside cover that also aids me against random splashes as this skin to me is just part of my camera... Having done mechanical designs in the past, I am impress at how well this mechanical fit truly is... "There is no slop!" I would give the designer an A+! And, it is most true that one must remove the camera lens first to get this cover on... "It is that snug of a fit!" And, I have not notice any wearing, rubber stiffening, or any hints of rubber cracking as I scan this outer skin... This "skin" also significantly aids in maintaining a "good grip" on this camera at the same time... This fact has save me from dropping this camera a few times out in the rain,,, as on those occasions,,, I only had a few fingers left to hold on to my valuable camera... "The skin's surface touch was that helpful/beneficial!" And,,, "Today Snugit appears as new as the day I purchase it!" I only wonder at times what kind of rubber they used... Perhaps it was from a Tire Manufacture that has come up with the proper rubber/synthetic formula to make this product so good. That would be my guess............

I bought this protective skin for my Nikon D5000 which also happens to wear a battery grip. If the skin is on, the battery grip is obstructed by the rubber and won't lock into place so that the electrical contacts are... in contact for the battery grip to do what it is supposed to do. I removed the grip and applied the skin to test the camera handling. I found no immediate problem in the operation of the camera with the skin on. It would take some getting used to having the skin on though because all the buttons acquire a rubbery touch (!). The skin does not interfere with the swiveling screen. Do not try to put the skin on with a lens in place. The only easy way of applying the skin is with the lens off. Since I want to keep using the battery grip, I have set the skin aside. Quality-wise, the product appears to be sturdy. It should be able to stand harsher than usual treatment. If you are the photographer who gets into the thick of things, this is probably a protective skin you would like to try. It will protect your D5000 from scratches and other non-destructive fouling. But if you use a battery grip, like I do, this is not a valid proposition (unless you take a knife to the bottom right of the skin and remove a piece in which case I'd think the snug fit will suffer).

A few weeks ago, I dropped my camera while on some rocks in the New Mexico desert and the protective skin absorbed the drop like it was designed to. Needless to say the camera was ok and I continued to shoot my landscapes worry free. My only negative feedback would be thats its a bit hard to see some of the symbols for the features on the back but after some time and getting more familiar with the camera, that becomes less of a problem. This skin kit is amazing, now I'm a person who likes to keep my things nice and working for a long time. This is protection that everyone should put on their camera. Now this skin is limited but it's great. I have dropped my camera and it was fine, had it rained on and under neath the ski the camera was bone dry. I think it's a great product and would recommed it to anyone. The other things I would suggest is a screen protector, again I want to keep my camera working for a long time and I don't want my screen all messed up.

I'm really blown away by the fit, quality, and protection this offers. I got it along with a collapsible rubber lens hood and UV filter to ruggedize the camera for a "caseless" outdoor festival carry rig with a crossbody sling strap. Installation was a snap. It looks like it's going to be harder than it is, but there's plenty enough stretch to get it wrapped around and have it fall into place where it conforms perfectly to the camera body. You do remove the lens to get it on.

So obviously I'm all set for a ruggedized outdoor rig, but what really took me by surprise was the ease of operation the "button pressing through the skin". I mainly do product photography from a tripod with studio lighting. I'd never imagined keeping the skin on for studio use, but after no more than 10-20 adjustments, the marginally different feel of the buttons was second nature, and I don't see any reason to ever remove it as long as I'm not using an outer body accessory like the battery grip mentioned elsewhere. (It does fine with the mounting plates for my tripod and sling strap).

It gets the full five stars for what it is and what it does and the quality at which it does it, but I do have two suggestions for a possible "rev 2" if Delkin is listening. 1) I'd prefer there be a "flap" for the SD door (the only thing I've ever actually broken on a DSLR), and 2) an option to cover the built-in flash while retaining the hot shoe flap. I'm envisioning a scored line in which you can decide before installation whether you want to leave it or cut it away with a hobby knife. I just think the primary demographic of people who invest in protecting their equipment might have a significant overlap with those who make other arrangements for lighting than the on-body flash.

One other general note it does not interfere with swivel LCD operation, and comes with a separate clear "film" (harder, stiffer than what you think of for a cell phone cling) to protect the display.

All in all, one of the most pleasantly surprising products I've encountered, and I look forward to adding one to every body from here on out.

This combination case and mount is a great solution for using your GPS in more than one car and being able to quickly remove your GPS--and any evidence of it--when you leave your car. I have a Garmin 1450, and it fits into this case snugly. Any difficulty removing it from the case isn't an issue for me, as I have no reason to take it out. Any problem removing the power cable isn't an issue either, as I leave the cable plugged into the GPS after unplugging it from the car, and wrap it around the case after I've folded the case around the GPS, then put the whole thing in my bag. No messing with a separate case or trying to hide a separate mount so that it's not visible in the unoccupied car. It's inevitably going to hang down and obstruct something--either an AC vent, radio control, or something, but it's easy enough to lift the hanging part out of the way and reach underneath or adjust its position slightly with one hand. Similarly, if the angle isn't right, or there's glare, it's very easy to adjust the position slightly by moving the sticky mount just a little bit. The mount grips the windshield without fail. Another big positive is that it's not above the dashboard, blocking any of my view, which I think is a real safety concern with a 5" GPS in a small car. The only negative, and this is a small thing, is that the sticky silicone part ends up against the GPS screen when the case is folded closed, and it leaves on the screen subtle prints of the texture of the sticky pad. I keep a small microfiber cloth (like you use for eyeglasses or computer screens) tucked into the little stretchy flap on the back of the unit to be able to periodically wipe the screen clean.

This little wallet like holder works very well holding your GPS to the dash of most cars, while making it extremely easy to take with you. It was the perfect solution for us renting a car in France. I just got this and it is really convenient. I would agree with the comment that you can not adjust the angle of the GPS as it hangs from the dash, so if you need your GPS to be "just so" to see it, then maybe this isn't for you. Or, if you always have your window mount up in the same car, then fine, you are all set. But, I have three cars and the GPS moves between them all. So for me this is really handy because it is easy to deploy, a stable mnount, AND a great case. I don't like fooling with the window mounts and the weighted pads are bulky, heavy and the GPS can block part of your view. Nothing's perfect, but this does just what it says it will do. Build quality is good. So far I am really pleased.

This sounded like a great idea, much easier than fooling with a windshield mount. It's a nice quality case, worked as advertised, held on the the dash with no problem, no slipping. BUT in my car it hung at an angle tilted slightly away from me, and the sun was on it, and no matter what I did I could not see the screen clearly. If you wear glasses as I do, be aware that you may not be looking through the right part of your lens with this hanging in front of the dash instead of near eye level on the windshield. A great product for those who are able to see clearly at that angle. The other drawback is that the windshield mount weighs about 1 pound in order to anchor securely to the dash, so when trying to travel light its just that extra bit of weight to tote. Also a bit awkward trying to plug the power cord into it. I am returning this as it just doesn't work for me.

Used for a dive trip to Bonaire. I used it on dives as deep as 75 feet. It never leaked and the pictures were great. After about 30 feet the pressure on the case pushed in the buttons on the camera and I was not able to us it until I ascended above 30 feet. This did not cause me any issues but I did wonder if there were any folks who experienced an unlucky series of button pushes...you know, like "menu" / "format memory card".

I used it on a Panasonic Lumix with a fairly big tele lens and I was impressed at how well it worked.

On down side is it was quite difficult to manipulate the camera controls while in the case, so you need to set it to a mode and leave it there for the dive. I was able to switch between video and photo mode but it was quite difficult.

It is basically a heavy duty zip-lock bag with a velcro closure for added security.

In any case I thought it was great for what it is and would recommend it to others.

I didn't even get a chance to check this product for waterproofness because I was disappointed with the fit. I have a Canon powershot SX 230, and according to the DiCapac website this size should fit my camera but the case was far too big. I inserted pieces of foam to try to remedy this, but found that even once it fit I couldn't change any of the settings on my camera (zoom, photo settings, etc.) due to the design. Not super impressed, I returned it.

I was going to the Royal Caribbean cruise trip to the Caribbean in less than 10 days and needed a dicapac quick for my LX3 so I researched on the different products and came across this one. I was referred to the dicapac site to find the right fit for my LX3 and they suggested the wp610/wp570. I then went to read about every review that was posted of ANY dicapac to see what other ppl had to say. Since after all, it did seem risky to just risk the life of my precious camera on a cheap plastic cover instead getting the legit waterproof housings. So after reading a bunch of reviews and even watching youtube videos on people testing the housing, I found some people saying that the case was too loose. But no one really had the same make of camera and such. On top of that, both 610 and 570 said they were able to fit G5, 7 and 9... so that was a bit confusing and risky. I think they later added the 570 because most reviews were people talking about the 610 for the lumix.

ANYWAYS, The wp570 was a PERFECT FIT for my LX3. It was indeed a bit loose but the snout was good for the long zoom. So to fix that problem, you just have to grip the camera in the right position so the zoom doesnt hit the plastic of the zoom and cause it to hide back in the camera. The loose fit was actually perfect because it allowed me to press the preview button and stuff. Like stated in the other reviews, in some pictures the snout part of the dicapac would show up in my pictures but its not a big deal since u can just crop that out.

The photographers that took pictures of us underwater in hopes to charge us big bucks for dinky pictures didn't really like me and my dicapac. Alot of other cruisers asked me where I got it too. Overall, no complain with my purchase. LOVE IT.

The web site says that WP570 is comptible with Panasonic Lumix ZS-7, but the case is way too big for this camera.

2nd review i've used these cases in the past as a paramedic and they have stood up to almost any abuse but that appears to no longer be so. i've used this case as a camera case with gentle use and no abuse of any kind. about 4 to 5 weeks after it arrived i was opening it and the left latch snapped in half. i called the vender and was told it was a pelican problem and i was given a customer service number. i called pelican and they aggreed to send 2 latches. this is good because since i called the right latch snapped in the same way. this used to be a great product but all i can see now is replacing one latch after another

3rd review the new latches have worked fine now for about a year/they were a bit of a pain to install but otherwise np upgrade to 4 stars thx

I used to purchase my hard cases from a firm in Canada. These were for a large collection of optics and lasers. By chance while I was purchasing a high-end camera on Amazon, a 'you may also like' prompt popped up. Since the prices were reasonable and one source shopping is nice, I orderd 2. No regrets.

The attributes are: latches are much easier to work than the Canadian kind (sorry guys), the pressure relief valve, and the ease of ordering replacement foam inserts when I change my equipment. I also recommend the Pelican cable locks.

...This is one of my best investments. This is my second pelican case purchase however I feel it will not be my last. My pelican1500 houses my DSLR Nikon D90 body/ batter grip, 1 35mm prime lens, 1 50mm prime lens, the nikon 18 105 factory lens, and a beast 80 400 telphoto zoom lens. Not to mention all my cables/ charges and memory cards. And I left one space free for the fisheye lense I'm planning on purchasing. All this was a tight fit however I made it work with a minimum of two foam square blocks of buffer space. So YES...this case meet all my expectations and more.
