This kit is a great buy. The camera case is sturdy and very well-made. The 70" tripod is of professional quality, for only a fraction of the price! No comment on the DVD as I've never used it. Definitely recommend this item!

Best value for money!! When i ordered it, I though I am going to get couple of used products, repackaged!! But to my surprise(yes!!) everything came in very good condition. The bag is awesome as everyone said(see reviews) and the 70' tripod was excellent too(although I didnt quite like the release plate..smells of rubber)!! All these for under $40 is a great deal..for someone on a budget!! And the seller 42nd street is highly recommended too!!!

The Canon SD800IS I bought didn't come with a case, and my backpacking trip to Yosemite put enough abuse on the camera that I decided to get a case (I had the camera by itself in a pants pocket). I actually bought the case in a store (gasp!) instead of online, so I compared five models in the Lowepro Rezo line.

This one has the requirements and no more:

* Nice padding, so it should hold up to anything short of bone-breaking accidents.

* The camera fits in its pocket nice and snug, so it doesn't bounce or slide around.

* The front pocket can hold a spare battery or two. Update: it would have been nice if this pocket had a elastic opening, since anything in it can slide out when the case is open; for example, if you remove the camera and then drop the open case back in a bag, you might find your spare battery at the bottom of the bag instead of where you left it.

* There is a removable neck/shoulder strap; it seems pretty lightweight, but the combination of camera and case will be well under a pound, so it is probably adequate.

* Crucial: the belt loop on the back is sturdy, but can be unsnapped (it uses a clever combo of velcro and a snap to keep it secure). Because it can be unsnapped, it can be attached to my backpack's waistbelt without my having to unthread the entire belt -which would be a major chore.

Other comments:

* Some of the other Rezo models have stitched-on belt loops, which would make it very annoying to add it to a waistbelt of something like a backpack or hydration daypack. The Rezo 15 and 50 both have the good kind, the 10, 20 and 30 have the bad kind.

* The description touts the zippered main and front compartments: but *this* model has no zippers whatsoever. A single flap goes over the back camera compartment and the smaller front accessory pocket, and closes with a big patch of velcro. Also: no gussets. I think they are describing the Rezo 50, which is a bit bigger. I thought the Rezo 50 was nice but bigger than I needed, and the other three had the deal-breaker fixed beltloop.

* There's no room in this thing for a charger, if you were hoping for a big enough case for all your accessories. You probably couldn't even jam a USB cable in there.

UPDATE: the key feature of this product is its ability to attach to a belt without having to thread the belt through. And in this product's case, that is true if the belt is *horizontal*, e.g., a hipbelt on a backpack. But if you want to put your camera (or GPS, etc., I suppose) on a *vertical* strap, such as up on the shoulder strap of a backpack, then take a look at the Mountainsmith Cyber II case and it's kin. Those can be *threaded* on a belt, or attached to a vertical strap without threading. Other than that distinction, the two product lines seem to be equivalent.

I really like this camera case. My Nikon Coolpix 5100 didn't come with a case and the Lowepro Rezo 15 fits it nice & snug. I'm a bit of a clutz and this allows me to not worry about my camera. It has good padding for protection and the velcro flap is nice & strong so the camer stays in place. I've never used the strap that came with it. I 'm not really a fan of belt loops, but the one on this case is pretty convenient. It's sturdily built and has a strong velcro closure which allows me to take it on & off without having to take off my belt. I've never used the shoulder/neck strap that came with it, so I can't vouch for that.

Best Deals for Lowepro Rezo 15 Camera Case - Black

I bought the case based on the reviews believing it would be ideal for carrying my Canon S100. However, while it's reasonably well padded, it's too small for the camera. Getting the camera in and out takes two hands, one to hold the camera, the other to hold the case. And the cover flap's velcro pad just meets case pad when the accessory pocket is empty. I do not recommend this case for the S100 camera.

Honest reviews on Lowepro Rezo 15 Camera Case - Black

I just picked up this Lowepro Rezo 15 Camera Case (Black) for my Canon S95. It's a snug fit with the S95. I choose this case since I wanted something which allowed me to access the camera quickly, that requirement eliminated all the cases with zipper camera compartments from consideration. The Rezo 15 has velcro flap so you can quickly and easily access the camera. It also has a velcro + button attached belt holders so you can attach this case to your belt without having to take your belt off. A neck strap is also included. The only improvement I'd suggest to LowePro is to make the smaller pocket on the front of the case zippable so the contents don't accidentally fall out.

Perfect. Just what I wanted. I use it all the time. Fits the f31fd perfectly. Carries an extra memory card. Protects the camera well. Shoulder strap carry is what I like, but also has a belt carry loop. My quest for the correct case for the f31fd stops here. It's the one.

Tamrac is to camera bags what Hasselblad is to cameras. In other words, Tamrac is the cream of the crop for equipment storage and protection. The quality worksmanship they put into their products is exceptional, and this camera bag is no exception. It is rugged and durable with plenty of storage space for the essential gear needed for a short outing such as a day trip, making it an excellent alternative to lugging around my heavy Tamrac 5612 when the extra gear isn't needed. The thick padding holds everything securely and keeps items safe from accidental bumps and jarring. The shoulder strap has a good adjustment range and is comfortable to use even for extended periods. Put bluntly, these bags are designed to be comfortable to carry, convenient to use, and durable enough to last a lifetime.

The exterior fabric does a fair job of protecting everything from the elements, but it's best to spray the bag's exterior every couple of months with a quality water repellant spray such as that used for tents and other camping gear. This is a good practice for any fabric camera bag by any maker, not just this specific model.

As someone who is new to photography, this bag came with a digital SLR I bought used. I am so impressed with the quality and versitility that I would recommend it to anyone. I seem to have plenty of room to put my goodies in for now, and some space to grow as I acquire new lenses. I find it easy to grab the camera quickly out of the bag when needed. This is great when timing is everything, as it often is with photography.

I purchased this bag to hold my Nikon D3100 camera and extra lenses. It works great! I have two extra lenses and an external flash in it with the camera and lens and there is still room for more! It's light weight and has a great padded strap so when I carry it to events, it's not a burden. The dividers are movable so you can customize them to fit your equipment. I love all the pockets so I can easily find all my accessories! I highly recommend this bag!

Wow, i don't have enough words of praise for this kit. Extremely comfortable to wear (have been using for 2 weeks), Tripod is sturdy, plz do not pay attention to those reviews which say Tripod can't hold the wait of a DSLR, I have been using Nikon D5000 with a telezoom lens 70-300. The sling-bag also has a hookup to hold your tripod which wasn't mentioned in the product description.

Overall this Targus kit, does whatever it states and more, very durable (time will tell more on this), but a spacious bag, which carries my 3-4 lenses, Canon HD video cam and Nikon D5000 + my tripod

Would highly recommend this kit to someone who needs both a great bag pack and a tripod, look no further, Costco is also selling the same kit, like 10 bucks more expensive, but only if you want freedom to return the merchandise. Which I highly doubt, Targus has a reputation of making quality laptop bags, and this is no different.

I have so many camera bags in my possession right now that I actually think I've beaten my girlfriend's stash of bags and purses. Each bag I have has a significant purpose for the things I do in life. Whether it be for a long trip overseas or an in studio photo session, each bag does it's job. I needed a bag that wasn't a backpack, a suitcase or even "a typical camera bag." Something that could lug around my Canon 5D mated with a 70-200 Telephoto lens and battery grip. I accidentally purchased the Topload Zoom AW thinking that's the one I needed. Apparently it's not modeled for a Camera with Battery Grip, so I returned it and picked up the Toploader Pro 75 AW. (Please be careful when selecting one of the 7 TopLoad bags that Lowepro has to offer.

The Toploader Pro 75 AW fits my Canon 5D (Series 1) with Battery Grip and Strap just about right. It's a little tight with no room to move, but after adjusting the removable foam pads around, I can say that the fit is almost perfect. I can have my 70-200 2.8 mounted to the body with the grip or my 17-40 with no problem. I just recently purchased the Lens Case LC 1 and LC 2 to take advantage of Lowepro's Sliplock System with this Bag. The Oblong shape is what I really like about this bag. I'm a skinny dude, 5'8 and the bag seems to rest just right around my hip and down my side. My Speedlite with in it's case fits comfy in the front pocket and the open pocket on the other side is nice enough to put little nick'nacks in as well. Overall, I'm very happy with this bag and with my purchase directly from Amazon. Do try to go to a camera shop and check one out for yourself to make sure it's the right fit for you before order. It will save you a lot of time. Thanks

Lowepro Toploader Pro 75 AW

READ OTHER REVIEWS CAREFULLY. Look at what the reviewer actually was describing. Several of the "most helpful" were actually for the Zoom AW models (not the *Pro* AW, which are more expensive, better padding, better materials, more attachment options). It seems like an Amazon problem; I think the reviews sometimes get incorrectly attached to a product "family," even to distant relatives on the family tree.

Other reviews of *this bag* are pretty much on the money: well built, well padded, nice expanding accessory pockets, good zippers, good stitching, lots of attachment/carrying options. I own both a Zoom 50 AW (consumer grade/price) and this Pro 75 AW (pro grade/price). The Pro is worth the price premium to me because of the additional protection offered to my gear while hiking and Nordic skiing (with seemingly no weight penalty). The only negative is that the rain cover is relatively complicated (compared to the Zoom AW). The Zoom AW is as simple as a shower cap; but, it has to be removed in order to access your camera. The Pro AW rain cover is much trickier to get on the bag, but allows access to the main compartment while it is still in place (though the accessory pockets are inaccessible). Neither cover is effective in heavy rain; but, they are both very helpful to me as extra protection from light rain or snow (in wetter conditions, I put my gear in heavy duty Ziploc bags inside the Lowepro).

I'm impressed enough that Lowepro will be tops on my list for my next bag purchase.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Lowepro Topload Zoom 55AW Camera Bag (Black)

PROS:

Long enough to fit a Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens while attached to a Canon T1i camera (with the sun shade on the lens in the flipped around packed position).

Velcro divider that can separate two smaller lenses.

Lid has a zippered compartment with a protective triangle of fabric to tuck the zipper pull behind to not scratch the camera. (See note on camera lid in cons below.)

Loops on exterior webbing (possible use for slipping a small travel tripod through).

D-rings on top strap and more importantly on the bottom of this long bag can be used to keep the bag from flopping around while walking.

Handy rain cover for the bag that is attached to the bag and tucks neatly in the flap located at the back of the bag.

Belt loop attachment.

Carrying handle is sturdy and comfortable in the hand.

CONS:

The lid could be made out of a soft fabric versus nylon which would provide a softer surface as it does touch the camera screen. A thick micro fiber type fabric would be nice.

Exterior zippered compartment could be used for a flash unit if the compartment were padded.

This case would have received 4 stars if it had more padding in the bottom of the bag to protect the lens.

Honest reviews on Lowepro Toploader Pro 65 AW

I ordered the 55 AW for my D5100 with 70-300 VR zoom lens and hood attached, but it fell over 1 inch short of fitting, with hood in shooting position. When I reversed the hood, it barely fit; but the hood's outter edge snagged on the lower seams of the velcro that is sewn halfway down inside (for a divider), while trying to pull it back out of the case. It was frustrating to get it back out once, and I did not put it back in again; I was afraid I would break my hood or tear up the lens/camera trying to get it out. The padding is also thin on the 55 model, and does not seem adequate enough for the safety of my equipment, when wilderness hiking. However, I just got the PRO 75 AW, and it is perfect!!! Much better built in terms of padding and pockets; it holds my camera with battery grip, 70-300mm zoom lens attached and hood on, in shooting position. And it also holds my 18-55 wide angle zoom in the upper compartment in front, and extra batteries and a micro cloth in the lower. It came with both chest harness and padded shoulder strap, and is exactly what I needed for trail photography; I LOVE IT!!! For whatever reason, Amazon would not let me review the PRO 75, saying I had already reviewed it, and asked if I wanted to edit. When I clicked the link, it brought me here, to my review of the 55 AW, so I edited. The 4 stars is for the PRO 75; I originally only gave the 55 AW a 3 star rating, and that was being generous.

I am using this holster with a Canon 50D w/ a battery grip and a 70-200 f2.8. The camera and lens fit great even with the lens hood inverted. It even has enough room in the front pocket for my Canon flash. I added a Lowepro lens case mounted to the side for an additional wide angle zoom. The quality is top notch!

Enough room for the phone, charger, an extra battery and a cord in the bottom section, plenty of room for the camera with the viewfinder still attached in the upper part of the case. The case looks nice and is very sturdy, but still small enough to carry easily. The cover can be a bit tricky, since it's magnetized to stay closed, it takes 2 hands to open it.

The camera bag that I bought was too small for the Kodak z1015is camera that I bought it for. The camera will go into the bag but it is such a tight fit that the bag is basically unusable. I am not sending the bag back because it is not worth the shipping cost or effort to return it. The Kodak z1015is camera is a fairly new camera that is a 15x optical camera and even though the camera bag was advertised as being the right bag for this camera it is not. The actual camera bag is an ok bag -just too small for the Kodak z1015is camera.

I bought this case under the impression that my Kodak Z981 would fit --it does not. Nothing wrong with the case..if my camera fit -I'd be happy with it! If you're wondering which camera's fit in the case, I'd check out the case at kodak.com and look under specifications and see if you're camera is listed there! Mine wasn't and I wish I would have noticed this before I bought it! Amazon leads you to believe that the Z981 fits I wish I would have looked further into it before I bought it. Again..great case if camera fit!

I bought this particular backpack for several reasons. I like to have a bag/back pack that can hold both my computer and gears and my photography gears. I have looked into several models which can be really expensive. Since the main purpose of this back pack is to transport my equipment during travel (air plane), I though this would be a good choice. When I received the backpack, the first impression was it is huge!!! Yes, it is but it will fit the space on the airplane (carry on) with everything loaded. However, it may be slightly high (tall) and can be difficult to place under the seat in front of you for the small jets (regional jet). In addition, it can handle a 17" wide screen lab top easily.

The construction of the back pack is good quality and there are ample space to put the equipment. However, it is a little difficult to use this backpack to carry any letter size document without using the computer compartment. Hence, you will not be able to carry lots of document and might need to carry a portfolio on the side.

The packpack as designed will be able to be sling and open the zipper to get the camera. I tried this and it does work nicely. It is comfortable to carry with a full load all day.

Overall it is an excellent designed pack pack for computer and photography equipment transporter. It is bulky but possibly required for the type of equipment it will house. One thing that I had not tested is whether it is rain proof.

I ran across this Fastpack at the PMA08 Convention here in Las Vegas and wanted to purchase it right then and there but couldnt. So I waited about 2 weeks and ran across the 350 on Amazon and ordered it. It has all the functionality that I was looking for. It incorporates my small form factor 12in laptop in the back with plenty of padding and quick access to my DLSR. I have had this on my back for hours and it doesnt get uncomfortable when properly adjusted. I am very pleased with the design. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has been wondering if its worth it.

A great bag. Compact for its size, I can carry my D-200 with 70-200mm f/2.8 lens, 18-55mm f/2.8 lens and flash in the lower section. Upper section has plenty of room for my KATA raincover, windbreaker and pullover cap, which is accessable with ease. This is extremely handy, especially when the weather takes a turn during football games.

My 15-inch laptop fits in the side pouch with no problem. All that gear can be heavy, but shoulder straps are padded and The hip and sternum straps help to distribute the weight correctly.

Unlike other combo bags that I've owned, which were much wider, this Fastpack 350 is compact and should be no problem being a carry-on for taking along on plane trips. I highly recommend this bag.

Honest reviews on Lowepro Fastpack 350-Red

I have had this bag for only a day now and I have to say it's awesome. it's camera gear compartment fits my current EOS 40D with Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens for Canon EOS SLR Cameras attached plus my Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras, my 430EX flashgun and two more lenses.

It's comfortable to carry and walk around in, but it does get a bit uncomfortable when you have the laptop with you during long walks, but I guess that is to be expected with such backpacks.

It may not be everyone's cup of tea, especially for Photographers who want to carry a lot of gear around. But I also like the easy camera side access, which for me was this bag's selling point. I can reach in and pull out my 40D with complete ease.

Great bag if you're considering it and you have about the same gear I do.

Fantastic, convenient, tough, functional. This is just what I was looking for. At this stage in my photo business, I like to carry everything I might need with me, which includes a DSLR, 4x lenses, flash w/off-camera bracket, extra batteries, charger...you get the idea. It all fits beautifully and access to whatever I need is fast without fussing over a lot of unnecessary buckles & snaps. Especially love the Fastpak side opening. I can open it, grab the camera, and while keeping the bag slung over one shoulder, shoot on the move if needed. I'm a long-term Lowepro user, so whenever the time comes to upgrade, I'll look to that company first. Their products have never failed to impress.

We have this backpack and a bigger Lowepro backpack that we use for our DSLR kits. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we could pack into this small, lightweight backpack. It is comfortable to wear on hikes, even loaded down with two Canon DSLR bodies, 70-200mm 2.8L IS II and 50mm lenses, a flash, and still room for another lens. Plus, there are enough pockets for batteries, cards, and other small accessories. In contrast, our bigger backpacks holds just a lttle more (perhaps one or two more lenses), but seems much heavier when packed up.

I am using an Olympus EM-1 with a 6-8 lenses. The lenses are short and this case if a perfect way to carry them all.

Most of them except the longer Voightlander Nokton and the Oly 75-300 zoom go in vertically which really saves space.

I also have room for an Oly flash and the necessary batteries and whatnot. A Lumiquest softbox fits nicely in the outside compartment.

One gripe is that there is only one zippered compartment on the inside of the lid. I am used to having several so I can keep batteries in one and cards in another etc. Not a big deal, just curious why Lowepro did it this way.

This bag replaces a "messenger" style bag I have been using. The messenger style is not useful for small micro four thirds lenses because the case is deep and you end up having to stack the lenses on top of one another. Not good. This case is much easier to use.

The tripod attachment works fine as does the rain cover. All in all and for the bargain price I paid it is a keeper.

Best Deals for Lowepro Pro Runner 300 AW DSLR Backpack (Pine Green)

Excellant quality, which is standard for Lowepro products. Have and Lowepro Trekker 100 for number of years; put through all types of use and abuse, still looks almost new. The Pro Runner 300 allows me to carry at least twice the equipment as the 100.

Have in bag: Sony a700 DSLR with Sigma 17-70 lens attached with hood, Sony 70-200 2.8 with hood reversed, Sigma 28-200 with hood, 100 mm macro lens, Sony FM58 flash with case, Promaster LED120Plus ligt, light meter, a700 vertical grip, compact binoculars, batteries and chargers for camera and flash, card reader, Rogue lig bender with difuser, tabletop tripod, lens and camera cleaning materials, along with various cords, and memory cards.

Allows me to carry enough equipment so I am ready for just about any situation that may arise. I'm one of those people that never leaves home without a camera. I am not a professional, just an advance amateur.

Items are not stuffed or cramped in the bag. the external shape and sizeis the same full as empty. Weighs 15 pounds with all items, which is not that bad. Adding my monopod will add a couple pounds, should i decide to strap it on. Usually use monopod as walking stick. Tripods are Bogen, I carry them with their shoulder strap due to their size and weight.

I would highly recommend ths bag for its size, layout and quality. Lowepro's customer service was plesant and helpful in answering all my questions and concerns. Called their customer service a couple times prior to purchasing. Was comparing to Case Logic DCB-309. Case Logics customer was not as friendly or forth coming as Lowepro.

Item was received as expected. It was packaged well. All items in the ad were provided as described. Excellent service. I would recommend seller again. Have not used bag and tripod yet, but it appears to be exactly what is needed for my application.

The rebel camera does not sit securely in this case even though it is one of the cameras listed. I am going to try to figure a way to pad it to make it sit more secure. The side zipper is water proof and this makes it difficult to unzip although I like the concept of the easy access.

This case is better then I thought it would be. It fits my ST200 camera really well. At first, I thought it may be too small but its perfect for just the camera. You can also charge the battery while its in the case. I wouldn't recommend it for people needing some extra room though, as its very snug fitting. The strap that's attached is short and good for your hand. Wish it was longer so I can put it around my neck, but that wouldn't stop me from buying it again.

I ordered this to replace one I had recently lost. So happy to have found this online, since I wanted this exact case. Why? It's compact, easy to open, and very durable. The one I owned lasted for over three years (and I took that thing with me EVERYWHERE. It was in the bottom of my overloaded purse for the majority of the time while I was in college. Then it protected my beloved Samsung point-n-shoot while I traveled overseas.) Make sure to put your contact info somewhere on it, though, because I lost mine on an airplane trip (the black blends in well with the dark seat covers and in my haste to exit the plane I overlooked it---sad day, but now I have a new one--YAY!)

Wow! Seriously, this case is an unbelieveable deal. It's sturdy and fits my Samsung MV800 with just enough room to spare. I can't think of one negative comment to make about this case. And the price is incredable for what you get.

This leather case is well made. It has a fold over flap with a magnetic catch that works well. Not as strong as a clasp, but more convenient and fine for the uses this case was made for (casual walk about). It measures about 3.5 x 2.5 x 1 inches. Fairly small. It fit my Olympus FE-350 fine, which measures 3 1/2 by 2 1/4 x 3/4 inches. Anything much bigger would not fit, so you may want to measure your camera to be safe.

The case looks and feels like a nice quality semi-hard case as described, not cheap like some. It has the Samsung brand name embossed on the front. The stitching is good quality and the belt-loop looks strong and should hold up well. The magnetic flap means access is quick and easy when you want to grab your compact for a quick shot.

My main use is as a general purpose protective case which I actually carry within a larger camera bag most of the time. It works well for that purpose and provides plenty of protection.

This is a good value (at 4.95) in a compact camera case, it could also be used for cell phones and other small devices whose dimensions don't exceed those listed above. I am very pleased with it and consider it a bargain compared to the many cheaply made cases selling for as much or more that I've seen.

Update 12-27-2010: At the 4.95 price and with free shipping currently, just ordered 3 more. Fits several other gadgets I have.

Update May 2011 -Just bought a couple more. Very handy. My new flip cam fits perfectly.
