I purchased the Deuter camera case so that I would have my digital camera handy to take pictures. My Canon powershot elph fit into it without any problems. The bag secured by velcro around my backpack strap (both a Deuter backpack & others were OK) or belt. It fully protects the camera so it is wider than the Deuter phone bag (which I also have). There is room in it to put extra storage disks. You could put your phone in it instead I suppose also. Overall, I like it.

I have had this case for over a month and it has stood up to moderate abuse. Case is sturdy and more compact than the other models. The bonus screen protector was a plus. The case uses strong velcro to grasp the camera in place and the additional compartment holds cleaning cloth and other small items. Overall good product, I have seen more expensive ones in stores with lower quality materials.

UPDATE: Case protects well, but canopy clip broke off. I am still happy with the case.

I purchased the hard case in black for my Casio Exilim camera and it has worked out very well so far. It is compact enough to put in my purse without being too bulky and it is strong and sturdy enough to protect my camera from abuse. I was worried about getting the hard case because all my previous cases for past cameras have been made of the typical nylon, but I like this case much better. It feels much more durable. I like that there is a strap that hold the camera in place, even though there's not much room in there for it to move around since it is relatively small and perfect for my camera. I also like that it has a small pocket for additional memory cards, etc. Lastly, I like that the clip is optional; I probably won't use it unless I need to clip it onto something while I'm traveling and I can put the clip in the pocket inside so it's always available. Overall, I think this is a great compact case for a camera and I look forward to having it for a very long time.

This bag is small, small, small! But that said, It is a comfortable cabin for my Fuji XE-1 with its kit zoom on top of my 14mm Fuji lens. There is also room for three spare batteries, body cap, a Rugby team of cards and my aftermarket charger; the front and rear pockets are as yet unused,( but I have checked that the camera manual fits comfortably in the front one, along with my passport), and the Rugby scrum of cards has now occupied the flap pocket. I wonder if I'll be able to jam in my as yet un-purchased Fuji 100-200mm zoom! I need another one for the X-100! I originally ordered this in sand color. Since I have another Domke bag in the sand color and love it. I figured I'd get it in the same color. But because it was titled 'rugged wear' it was sent in rugged wear instead.

I didn't know much about rugged wear. So before I would send it back I looked it up. From what I've read it is better for all-weather than the simple duck canvas that domke makes.

After deciding to keep it. I went out to test it on a rainy soon after. It worked like a champ.

All my equipment inside stayed dry even when I didn't clasp down the top flap. Absolutely love it.

Only reason I put four stars is that I wish it was a tad larger in the center pocket. But it fits perfect for a day trip around town or a walk in the park.

It comes with both an optional shoulder strap and loops that you can use to secure this to a belt. If you use the belt option, the zippers open toward you for extra security. There are three compartments that you can use to place batteries, storage cards, and other essentials. The inside of the case is padded nicely, and contains a Velcro divider that you can use to make your camcorder snug, while creating a second compartment in the case for more equipment.

Over all, I think this is a great value for your money and I would highly recommend it!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The camcorder bag from AmazonBasics is the first product I have gotten from the AmazonBasic line that was what most people think of when they think "product." I have gotten cabling and such from AmazonBasics before, but this is the first item that I could comfortably put into the "goods" category of "goods and services."

The item comes packaged in Amazon's "Frustration-Free" packaging. That basically means: cardboard boxes, with no tape, and no plastic bubble wrap or blister packs. The material is standard padded fabric. And the zippers and straps are all decent quality.

However, it is rather small. The bag is clearly labeled as measuring 7.9 x 4 x 5.7 inches. And it seems even smaller than that. It is labeled as a camcorder bag, and I have to say that it is going to be too small for anything more bulky than the modern (tiny) camcorders they make these days. Add in: extra batteries, a microphone, a tripod mount (or several), cords, lens covers, memory cards, and cables for displaying/working on your videos remotely, and quite frankly they are not all going to fit in the bag.

I can barely squeeze my Canon HG10 HD camcorder in there, and that thing is rather small. In all, I was able to squeeze the camcorder + strap, its power cord, the battery charger in one outside external pocket, and the detachable lamp light in the other along with 1 usb cable, and 1 component viewing cable. In the front pocket under the flap, I am storing the case for the SD memory card the camcorder uses for pictures, and an extra card. That is it, and it is a tight fit.

So, there is nothing wrong with the bag, it is just more of a "day bag" instead of a carry-all. Use it to bring your camcorder to the beach or an amusement park, just to keep it padded and shielded. If you just want to stick the camcorder itself in there plus some extra batteries, and maybe the cable, you will be golden.

I purchased this camera bag for my GE X5 pro series digital camera. It is about half the size I expected from the pictures, but hold the camera securely in place. I would not suggest this camera for a DSLR camera that you wish to carry additional lenses with. There is not room. I do wish it was a little larger so that I could put my other (smaller) Canon digital camera in the bag with my X5. I am also unable to fit my user manual in this bag, so I hope I never need it when I am away from home! This bag has two side pockets which fit cords nicely. It also has a front pocket that has a velcro flap and zipper to store batteries, memory cards, etc. In short, I wish it were a little larger so I could fit my manual and other camera comfortably, but overall, I am satisfied.

I bought this particular backpack for several reasons. I like to have a bag/back pack that can hold both my computer and gears and my photography gears. I have looked into several models which can be really expensive. Since the main purpose of this back pack is to transport my equipment during travel (air plane), I though this would be a good choice. When I received the backpack, the first impression was it is huge!!! Yes, it is but it will fit the space on the airplane (carry on) with everything loaded. However, it may be slightly high (tall) and can be difficult to place under the seat in front of you for the small jets (regional jet). In addition, it can handle a 17" wide screen lab top easily.

The construction of the back pack is good quality and there are ample space to put the equipment. However, it is a little difficult to use this backpack to carry any letter size document without using the computer compartment. Hence, you will not be able to carry lots of document and might need to carry a portfolio on the side.

The packpack as designed will be able to be sling and open the zipper to get the camera. I tried this and it does work nicely. It is comfortable to carry with a full load all day.

Overall it is an excellent designed pack pack for computer and photography equipment transporter. It is bulky but possibly required for the type of equipment it will house. One thing that I had not tested is whether it is rain proof.

I ran across this Fastpack at the PMA08 Convention here in Las Vegas and wanted to purchase it right then and there but couldnt. So I waited about 2 weeks and ran across the 350 on Amazon and ordered it. It has all the functionality that I was looking for. It incorporates my small form factor 12in laptop in the back with plenty of padding and quick access to my DLSR. I have had this on my back for hours and it doesnt get uncomfortable when properly adjusted. I am very pleased with the design. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has been wondering if its worth it.

A great bag. Compact for its size, I can carry my D-200 with 70-200mm f/2.8 lens, 18-55mm f/2.8 lens and flash in the lower section. Upper section has plenty of room for my KATA raincover, windbreaker and pullover cap, which is accessable with ease. This is extremely handy, especially when the weather takes a turn during football games.

My 15-inch laptop fits in the side pouch with no problem. All that gear can be heavy, but shoulder straps are padded and The hip and sternum straps help to distribute the weight correctly.

Unlike other combo bags that I've owned, which were much wider, this Fastpack 350 is compact and should be no problem being a carry-on for taking along on plane trips. I highly recommend this bag.

I have had this bag for only a day now and I have to say it's awesome. it's camera gear compartment fits my current EOS 40D with Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens for Canon EOS SLR Cameras attached plus my Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras, my 430EX flashgun and two more lenses.

It's comfortable to carry and walk around in, but it does get a bit uncomfortable when you have the laptop with you during long walks, but I guess that is to be expected with such backpacks.

It may not be everyone's cup of tea, especially for Photographers who want to carry a lot of gear around. But I also like the easy camera side access, which for me was this bag's selling point. I can reach in and pull out my 40D with complete ease.

Great bag if you're considering it and you have about the same gear I do.

Fantastic, convenient, tough, functional. This is just what I was looking for. At this stage in my photo business, I like to carry everything I might need with me, which includes a DSLR, 4x lenses, flash w/off-camera bracket, extra batteries, charger...you get the idea. It all fits beautifully and access to whatever I need is fast without fussing over a lot of unnecessary buckles & snaps. Especially love the Fastpak side opening. I can open it, grab the camera, and while keeping the bag slung over one shoulder, shoot on the move if needed. I'm a long-term Lowepro user, so whenever the time comes to upgrade, I'll look to that company first. Their products have never failed to impress.

I purchased this case to go along with a camera I purchased for my daughter. She has had a tendency to drop electronic devices so when I considered getting her a camera I knew a case that would protect the camera would be a necessity. So far it seems to have done its job well. It's lightweight but hard enough to protect the camera from typical daily knocking-about, and compact enough that she is willing to use it to carry her camera in her purse and/or backpack. I disagree with the comment left here. I read it beforehand but since the picture clearly illustrated that a DSLR fit I decided to try it out. I'm glad I did, the bad review is misleading. I was able to fit my Nikon D80 and my Nikon d7000(bigger) with lenses on.

This perfectly molded piece of silicone offers an added level of protection against scratches, kitchen splatters (culinary photography) and light raindrops for my Nikon D7100. Initially I did not want to keep it, the matte black sheath takes away from the aesthetic of the camera and adds the tiniest bit of extra bulk, but ultimately I liked the way it felt in my hand and I knew that the protection it offers would be worth it.

After a recent accidental fall (due to a faulty camera sling/strap!) I was so relieved to have kept it because this skin did effectively prevent cosmetic damage to the camera body. I do not use the plastic screen cover as I bought a higher quality glass piece (Vello Ultra) that adheres directly to the screen. The two work well together.

I bought a Delkin skin for my D3100 several years ago. It provides some protection for the camera against the inevitable bumps and scrapes that the camera receives in normal use. There is a clear plastic cover over the LCD and a stick-on acetate film for the LCD to provide a second layer of protection. The LCD is easily viewable through both layers. The skin fits snugly, as its name implies, like a skin. Based on my experience with the 3100, I bought a skin for my new D7100 that is similar to the 3100 skin. Based on a week's use it promises to be as useful as the skin for my D3100.

This rubber protector for the D7100 body is, for the most part, well designed. Rubber is a bit to thick and too close around openings to access ports and the power switch/shutter. I trimmed a bit off the area around the shutter to provide easier access to this switch. The only real problem I found is the section designed to protect the hot shoe. This item does not fit well at all and creates a problem if one uses the hot shoe as I often do. The attachment of a flash or other accessory on the shoe causes the rubber to pull away from the eyepiece making it hard to look and compose/focus a photo. It is likely I will cut this off in the future. My advice to the mfr is to delete this part from the otherwise useful protector.

The backpack is HUGE. if you are looking to hold a couple cameras plus lenses this is great for you. there are also tuns of pockets. two things i did not appreciate: the plastic cover was never recieved, and every zipper pull i have pulled has broken. they must be cheaply attached. the tripod is great i have used it once so far. it is easy to figure out and set up/take down. overall alright product.

I ordered this bag for my wife's new Nikon DSLR and this bag can hold everything. In fact its almost too big, but we would rather it be to big than not big enough. Only issue I have is the tripod doesnt want to strap on to the side of the bag very easily. It took a good effort and didnt really mount on securely.
