This is a great camera case! It's perfect for small cameras. I have a Canon SD 770 IS and it fits perfectly. The belt loop on the case is a real plus. The dimensions listed for the product are correct, so measure your camera and see if it fits. This case is a good buy.

Canon PSC-85 Deluxe Soft Case for Canon Powershot A650IS and A720IS

I purchased this case to go with my Canon A570 IS camera. While it may not look it, it's a sturdy little case, with a soft lining which helps protect the camera's LCD screen.

There's a small zippered pouch in the front, which can hold 4 AA batteries, or a spare memory card.

I guess my primary reason for chosing it, over the PSC-60, or PSC-65, cases was the looks. The black color is unabtrusive, the styling is simpler, and it's a perfect compliment to Canon's A-series cameras.

I purchased this for my Canon A590IS. As many other reviewers have mentioned, it has an outside zipped pocket which can hold 2 pairs of spare batteries (4 x AA) or an extra memory card.

The case is sturdier than I thought, which was a nice surprise, has a belt loop in the back, a velcro fastened top flap, and is filled with soft lining inside to prevent scratching. I felt confident putting this case in my soft-sided carry-on bag for a long flight, knowing that my camera would be suitably protected. Once opened, the camera is easily accessible, and slides in and out effortlessly from the top--perfect if you use the belt loop.

For just a basic carry/protective case for your compatible Canon camera, you can't go wrong with this one for the price.

I just received this along with a 720 IS camera for Christmas. While I like that it is sturdier than many camera cases I've seen, the design is very poor. I agree with all reviews that mention the storage capacity, although I'm fairly sure that if one is careful in how the storage pocket is used, it could probably hold 4 batteries and 1 memory card. The main reason for the three star review is the lack of a strap on this bag. Canon assumes that everyone who uses this case will be wearing a belt. I never wear one and am now having to find a way to rig up this case to work for my needs, namely a strap that connects to the case which I can put around my waist. Not very impressive Canon!

Honest reviews on Canon PSC-85 Deluxe Soft Case for Canon Powershot A650IS and A720IS

I bought this case for my wife to carry her new Canon Powershot A720is. They were made for each other, as the fit is perfect. It doesn't slide or move around and there is a perfectly placed and sized zippered pocket to fit some extra batteries or another SD card. Stitching is well done and quality of the material is top notch too. It's the perfect fit for a small, "don't get in the way and be too bulky" case.

For the money, this is a nice camera case. The down side is storage. There is only one pocket which can only hold extra batteries or memory card. Wish the manufacturer had added pockets on the side. They probably would have been big enough to hold extra memory cards and then the front pock can old extra batteries. That would be a nice, simple, small volume case.

Opteka H400 DSLR Camera Short Zoom Holster Case w/Adjustable Review

Opteka H400 DSLR Camera Short Zoom Holster Case w/Adjustable Shoulder Strap
Customer Ratings: 4 stars
Buy Now
I recently purchased the "Opteka SLR & DSLR Camera Short Zoom Holster Case w/Adjustable Shoulder Strap" to house my Canon 40D (with 28-135 mm lens) for an up coming trip abroad. The holster arrived promptly, to my discovery that it is fractionally too short for my camera.

Re-measuring the 40D, with lens, and the Opteka holster revealed that the manufacturer touts its SRL & DSLR case with, apparently, exterior measurements. The camera's external dimensions wont fit inside the case!

I liked the low price, thick padding, long strap, quick function zipper, handy extra pocket, and black color of this Opteka holster. It is certainly recommended for cameras, with lenses smaller than 7.5" L by 6.5" D by 4.5" H. The "Exterior Dimensions: 7 3/4" L x 4 1/4" D x 7 1/2"H" posted @ Amazon are misleading. (This Opteka holster is smaller than this on the inside. It needs to be, at least, another .5" longer.)

I returned it requesting a refund.

I fretted over finding "the perfect camera bag" for too long. With this sucker being $10, I decided "what the heck" and tried it. It is an outstanding value at $10, and it sold me on the idea of using a 2-bag solution -one for the camera with a default lens mounted and one for the rest of my lenses. I cannot recommending such a combination enough. I have a Pentax K100D and my default lens is a Pentax AF 28-105mm f/4.0-5.6. I keep my DA 18-55mm f/3.6-5.6, DA 50-200mm f/4.0-5.6 and Zenitar FE 16mm f/2.8 in my separate lens bag (although all of those lenses will fit on the camera in the holster).

The front area is great for temporarily storing caps, filters, etc... The top handle is nice, as is the strap -nice to have both. Although it can go on a belt, it's just too big to sit with it on such. It also looks like that belt loops would eventually give way under the strain. I also agree with another poster than not having a camera brand name splattered all over it draws less attention to the bag, which is a bonus. If you absolutely have to sport your camera brand name, just leave the camera straps themselves danging out or wrapped around the top handle (which I do myself, to make it easier to pull out).

If you have a full frame or large lens, then this may not be big enough. Just FYI. You need to be using a more modern, more compact dSLR and its lenses. While it does fit my APS-C sensor sized (24mm x 16mm) Pentax K100D plus full-frame-sized (standard 35mm compatible) Pentax AF 28-105mm f/4.0-5.6, it won't fit much bigger.

Best Deals for Opteka H400 DSLR Camera Short Zoom Holster Case w/Adjustable

Fits my Canon Digital Rebel XT perfectly (with the lens it came with). Definitely holds JUST the camera, but sometimes minimalism is a good thing. Also, nice that it's made out of all man-made materials. It's really sturdy, and great for the price.

Honest reviews on Opteka H400 DSLR Camera Short Zoom Holster Case w/Adjustable

I bought this for those times when I was taking just our Nikon D40 with 1 lens attached to the camera body (standard 55mm or a zoom 200mm lens). While the case is not leather, it isn't expensive either. It's perfect for when I want the camera protected when I toss it into a backpack or carry it otherwise unprotected. I do have a regular gadget bag, but if you don't need a spare lens and any other misc equipment and want to be minimally encumbered but still enjoy the quality of your D-SLR pictures, this is a great and compact way to protect the camera. One note of caution: I don't think you could squeeze a lens longer than the Nikon 200mm in without potentially putting too much pressure on the LED screen when the case is zipped.

Pros: nice quality, cheap, fantastic looking (everyone asked me where did i buy it)

I looked high and low for a bag for my new Olympus XZ-1, that would also accommodate the VF-2 Viewfinder. I knew the Munich 30 would be a close fit but it seemed like the best choice, and I even found hints online that others had purchased this bag for this equipment. Result: great bag for the camera, but with the viewfinder attached it won't zip closed. So I have had to find another solution for the camera, but kept the Munich 30 for other equipment. Nice bag; has soft fleecy lining for good protection inside, 2 small pockets for memory cards good quality for the price.

I bought this case for my Olympus XZ-1, it looks and feels well made has 2 interior pockets for memory cards. With the auto lens cap it's a bit of a tight fit but not too bad. I wish it had a smaller height, there's a bit of extra space above the camera, less height would make it easier to carry around. Other than that, very pleased with this pouch.

This bag is a great fit for those of you with the Canon Digital Rebel XT, plus an additional lens. My camera with the kit lens fits nicely, along with my Canon 50mm lens. The pockets in front and up top hold other small accessories such as the charger, cables and memory cards. If you're looking for something roomy, you should get a slightly larger bag. I was looking for a streamlined bag small enough to make me want to bring the camera with me regularly. This bag fits the bill perfectly.

I was very satisfied when I received my case for my Leica camera. What a great look and it certainly keeps up with the retro, classic look that Leica cameras seem to have. The case has great workmanship as well and comes with a shoulder strap. The inside is a soft, unfinished leather, perfect for preventing scratching for the Leica D-Lux-4.

This case exceeded my expectations. It has more of a classicly stylish appearance rather than just a modern or utilitarian look to it and is very well made. I purchased this case at the last minute because I was leaving for a vacation to Disney World and didn't want to spend $200 for a new case but also didn't want my new D-Lux 5 getting banged around and scratched. I couldn't be happier. It was very easy to carry around and while it was slightly snug, it seemed to fit the camera just fine. It protected the camera and allowed easy access when I wanted to take a shot. I highly recommend this case to anyone looking for a protective case for their D-Lux 4 or 5.

Best Deals for D-Lux-4 Classic Case (Brown)

I bought this case for my Lumix LX3 and was concerned it would fit, but it fits perfectly. Apparently the new cases are slightly enlarged to accommodate the Lumix which is essentially the same camera as the Leica (except for that tiny strap eyelet which was enough previously to make the Lumix NOT fit). I did not have to alter the bag at all to get the Lumix to fit.

Honest reviews on D-Lux-4 Classic Case (Brown)

excellent compliment to my Leica D-Lux 4. Fits snugly with my camera with no problems. The brown leather is also beautiful. Strongly recommended!

If you are trying to find the perfect camera backpack online, I feel your pain! I spent a lot of time researching backpacks and when I ordered this bag, I wasn't confident that I would be happy. When you look at the picture of the gal with this pack on, it looks huge. I was delighted to find that the size was right in line with what I wanted. I would encourage you to focus on the actual size specifications if this is a concern.

I have photographers who work for me, taking photos and SLR video for catalogs and our online business. We do not use the bags for hiking. Our requirement is that we need to pick up our gear and change shoot locations frequently. This bag meets our needs exactly. The SLR, lenses, sound equipment, etc. all have their own safe places to be stored...I love it. The quality meets my expectations.

We use outside professional photographers and they steered me to Clik as a premium brand to consider. They also recommended the National Geographic bags. I didn't go with Nat. Geo. because the pictures and written descriptions were limited...not enough information to make a good decision in my opinion. There are very good videos on the Clik site for each of their products. They provide a good visual run down of the features and size. Good luck in your search!

I was looking for a combination bag. One that I can travel on business with my laptop, iPad and camera. If I am mainly going on a camera trip the backpack is perfect; however it lacks flexible storage space for all the 'crap' I like to take along.

The quality is very good and appears that it will last a long time with a lot of 'abuse' when getting in and out of airplanes and going through security.

The top storage section remains very stiff and difficult to access, perhaps with time it will become more pliable and easy to use.

I bought this bag to fly with my gear! It was big enough to fit it all and fit under my seat on the plane! I love how it protects my camera and room for many other things. The only thing I don't like about it is; it's weight and bulk. It is pretty heavy and looks like I am backpacking across country!

Needed a bag "in between size" that would carry gear in the field without being too bulky. Wears well, carries 70-200 on my Nikon D7100 as well as a couple other lenses, flash(es) and a variety of other photographer odds & ends.

Love this bag!

Bought it for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 and it fits very well. Camera goes in bottom side down so the flash doesn't get snagged on the case & accidentally open. The inner pockets are placed a little higher than I would have placed them, but I don't think I'll be using them anyway as I have a pretty big SDHC card. No room for charger or cables, but I wasn't looking for that. Adequate padding for my camera, not too much, not too little. The catch can be a bit fiddly to close, but opening it is easy. I'm thinking of removing the logo to make it less conspicuous.

Love the design/build, just a bit too small for my needs!

I've been hunting for a good bag for compact carrying of my Olympus E-PL1 which I often tote with me at random events, bicycle rides, or nature walks. This bag just barely fits my E-PL1 with the pancake lens (my usual config) and I get nervous about the amount of force I need to apply to pull the camera out. But I love the design--particularly the clasp, so much more secure than velcro and so much faster to unclasp than a zipper. I love the design so much, I'm buying the next size up, I'm sure I can put the "30" size to use for something...

Best Deals for Lowepro Terraclime 30 Camera Case

This is a well made bag. It has very little padding, is easy to open, slightly more difficult to close, has a belt loop and shoulder strap/attachments. I like the looks of this bag so I bought it. I saw the Terraclime 10 at Bartels, I got home and checked the dimension and it was to small for my Pentax Optio 80. I purchased the 30 thinking it would be slightly bugger and it is. Too big for my little point and shoot but still a good size. I think the bag is good and would be great if the 10 was designed a little bigger. For a larger point and shoot this Terraclime 30 is a good choice for it's purpose. I have used it fooling around town as well as hooked via the shoulder strap attachment points to my hip belt while backpacking with no issues.

Honest reviews on Lowepro Terraclime 30 Camera Case

A very nice bag for a compact digital camera. I have a Panasonic LX-5 and this bag is a perfect fit for it, fitting snugly without being a hassle to remove the camera. The quality is great and it is very light weight; for the price it was a sound purchase. An added bonus is the fact that this bag is very Eco friendly. Wish Lowepro made more styles of bags like this.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this bag. It is the perfect size for the Panasonic Lumix LX5. It is easy to remove the neck strap for times when you use a belt. The padding is thin, but for me, it does the trick. The bag also does not look like a camera bag, which is nice. I like the fact that it is made of recycled material, and it looks good on a guy and a gal :)

Firstthis bag looks like a medium blue in pictures on the web. It is actually a dark blue color. It seems sturdy, with plenty of pockets for accessories. It can hold a small SLR, a flash, and a lens or two. It is amply sized for an Olympus E-P1/E-P2 and it's accessories, which is what I use it for. The rain cover is a nice feature this bag comes with, for outdoor-nature and sports photography in places where it rains alot (Ohio). Overalla nice little bag that is'nt too much to lug around.

I have always been a big fan of Tamrac bags and this one is no exception. Perfect size for a small SLR, two lenses, and all of the cords and chargers. Love the rain guard which I am sure will come in handy in rainy Hawaii!

Best Deals for Tamrac 5561 Explorer 100 Camera Bag (Black)

I'm extremely new to the DSLR/Pro-sumer world however, compared to my older Sony camcorder bag this one is "Premium". Positive features of this bag includes:

several compartments for storage

padded/insulated

adjustable strap feels comfortable across the shoulder/chest

the handle has a rubber mesh-like material around it

to help you keep a good grip (even with sweaty/wet hands)

it looks stylish and compact

(upon casual observation)it also seems to keep a constant temperature within the bag.

At the time I bought this bag (July '09), I only intended for it to hold a DSLR + Flash + Lens + related accessories (eg: AA-batteries + 2 filters, back-up SD card & camera battery, 1 lens 72mm lens hood + ID ). I later ordered another lens + filter then realized the manufacturer makes Velcro attachable accessory modules for lenses and flashes (of various sizes). Wheew!Note: I reasoned it would be wise to get an accessory pocket module for a flash rather than buy one for a lens to be attached outside the bag. ;-) However, the Velcro on the accessory module is very strong!

So far I am very pleased with this purchase. Good Luck!

Honest reviews on Tamrac 5561 Explorer 100 Camera Bag (Black)

Tamrac 5561 Explorer 100 Camera Bag (Black)

Purchased for use with Fujifilm S100FS camera.

Glove-fit with tripod quick release installed.

Plus...

Storage pockets adequate for a variety of miscellaneous items.

Back storage pocket works well for camera user's manual.

Minus...

Front buckle needs to be replaced with the old style buckle. This one is too easy to get misaligned when in a rush or with cold fingers.

I did not like the contoured shoulder strap so I exchanged it with my Lowepro strap. (Personal preference)

Miscellaneous comments...

Althought the zippered top might be a bit of a pain to access, I see why it's made that way (Weather protection)

All in all, I believe it is a well made, quality product that works very well for this particular camera, and I would recommend it.

*One star removed because of the buckle.

The Tamrac Aero 36 camera bag that I had originally purchased locally for my digital camera gear turned out to be a little too small to comfortably hold my Canon G12, a Speedlite flash, spare batteries, a battery charger, and accessories so I checked out other camera bag options on Tamrac's website. After checking the dimensions for several bags, the Explorer 100 bag (#5561) looked like it was the best choice for all my gear so I ordered one from Amazon.com. Shipping was reasonably quick, the Explorer 100 bag has more than enough space and pockets for all my digital photo gear and is still compact enough for me to easily carry it around. This size bag is exactly what I needed, it has Tamrac quality and, best of all, I got it from Amazon.com for $14 less than the lowest store price around here. Hard to beat that combination.

Case Logic DSB-102 Luminosity Medium DSLR Split Pack
Customer Ratings: 5 stars

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This bag is definitely "the one" for anyone who has a medium sized DLSR and lenses and gear. I have a decent budget priced bag AmazonBasics Backpack for SLR Cameras that is fairly good but has a few quirks; you can't arrange the movable dividers in the main section for all kinds of cameras (center lens versus off-center-mounted.) And it's a bit stiffer and the fabric is not quite as thick and durable-feeling. The Case Logic bag has a lot going for it and is well worth the cost differential. Three times as much. Yikes! So why do I think it is worth it?

What You Get:

This bag has multiple pockets:

Front (for tablet, accessories, wallet, pad, pencil, personal items.)

Top compartment access (for reaching down for gear on the top compartment.)

Middle "split" section, to access bottom compartment of bag with the foam dividers for lenses and body.

Foldable "snake" divider (the blue piece) for walling off lenses or making a sling

Side straps for tripod

Ergonomic shaped back straps

Belly bands (able to be tucked away into their own pockets on the back)

Mesh back for sweaty backs in summer, padded for comfort

Side zip pocket with waterproof bonnet for bag (oh, yeah! you will need that, if you are in weather. I'd add a rain sleeve by the way. My last trip photographing nature, I had to adapt shower caps to protect my camera. They didn't last long. They didn't work very well.)

Nice pockets in front for sd cards and lens wiper

Top and bottom thick, webbing grab handles (very helpful for airplane overhead or retrieving from stowage on a boat in a hurry)

The size is about 11" Long x 10" Deep by 17" High

Weighs 3 lbs. They also say "2Kg" but that would be 4.4 lbs so that is not right. Empty it's 3lbs or about 1.5Kg.

It's made of nylon cordura, webbing, nylon mesh, and velour covered dividers. The nylon cordura feels heavy gauge and resistant to snags and tears (but that would take a trip out to the wilds to test for sure.)

I can't tell you how much I love split compartment packs. I love them so much, I still hang onto my Kelty book pack from college in the 70's because it has a split compartment. The arrangement of the straps, the stowable belly band and the waterproof bonnet add to my admiration for the Case Logic bag.

Downsides:

The gear compartment on the bottom may be a bit small for very bulky, fat or tall lenses (you have the top, too, do not forget.) It's a bit tight for four lenses plus a body. However, if you don't need the top compartment for a spare jacket, snacks, water, and other sundries, you have plenty of room in the top.

Summary:

AWE-some!
