This is a good basic camera case. Camera fits snugly, room for a card, but not whole lot of extra room for much else.

BIRUGEAR Digital Camera Pouch Carrying Case for Olympus VR-350 Review
This camera case advertised as fitting the Olympus camera I recently purchased barely fits inside it. There is a little area to hold an additional battery and card reader/writer but you can't put the camera and other things in at the same time. They all won't fit. Why have a little pouch when you can't use it? It is a nice color and has a hard shell to protect what is inside. Yet, I don't recommend this to anyone because it is too small for the camera and needed accessories.

I do like the layout of the bag, with frontal access to the two padded equipment bags, the top opening and the possibility to store stuff (e.g. jackets) under the flap. I was a little irritated with (i) the zippers of the front opening, which tend to get stuck in the loops for the ski poles / ice axes, (ii) the difficulty of accessing the equipment pouches without completely removing them from the mail compartment. Also I think an additional zippered compartment for e.g. passports / tickets would be a plus appreciated by frequent travelers.
I am glad I took the larger version of the pack, as it accepts a laptop (Macbook air, 13") and a few slim documents. the remaining space fills up pretty quickly with stuff, so don't plan a 3 week trip with this pack, unless you have very spartan needs.
But overall a well built, solid, functional piece of equipment, which carries very comfortably, is functional, simple and looks good.
I would definitely recommend this for outdoor / wilderness photography.
A nice feature is the curved backboard that allows airflow. It also has a 2 liter water pocket (Be certain you purchase the 2-liter size and honestly, just get the camelback version.) I took this to Arches National Park and most hikes there are fairly short. So, you are in and out of the pack constantly.
The main reason for the low rating is the set-up for holding your gear. There are two -call em camera bags -inside the opening. They have a split zipper top and handles. The handles get in the way of the zipper. So, to get a lens out, you have to take off the backpack, lay it down on the back board side, unzip the main compartment (again a split zipper and a chore at best) then unzip the camera bag.
For those reasons, I would not choose this bag again. Also, the pack itself is pretty hefty -maybe 5 to 7lbs (I'm guessing) -and working with it is an annoyance.
If you are hiking a backpack gets you a lot further down the road than you may think. Next to your camera and your headlamp, it's the most important tool you'll have.
This wonderfully-designed and constructed photo-backpack is chock-full of neat little features: the drinking water reservoir holder, the tripod straps, hiking pole straps, and that really neat diffuser/reflector/raincover that is tucked away in the bag. The more you use the bag, the more you'll discover. There are a handful of little stash pockets, as well, which are perfect for the little gizmos that always seem to get lost—passport, chapstick, car or house keys, etc.
I can say with 100% certainty that this bag is going to replace every other bag that I'm using regularly, even when I'm not hiking. I can load this bag up with food, clothes and my laptop, a couple cameras, and fill up a pelican case with lights and stands and go shoot a glamour gig (Oh, those beautiful ladies!), or I can reconfigure it for hiking and take it on an overnight trip. I can load it up with cameras and lenses and take it on a flight, and there will still be room left over for food and whatever trinkets I pick up along the way. The comfort and versatility is second to none here, and I'd have no problem recommending it to any photographer who is constantly on the go and looking to consolidate their bag collection. Take it hiking, take it traveling, take it to a slumber party – I promise you'll love this bag.

The materials and construction are good. The design and user advice are flawed. If you aren't an avid backpacker this bag needs some use explanations. Pictures attached to the bag are deceiving and adjusting straps is a process of discovery for the novice. (Basically, there is a hidden "board" that allows for adjusting the straps.)A nice feature is the curved backboard that allows airflow. As an avid former pro-photographer who loves the wilderness, this is the perfect companion, and it will certainly make it easier for me to do so. Most regular camera bags are a chore to hike with, and hiking bags don't really cater too well to the photography community for a number of reasons. This bag is the perfect combination of both: the comfort and storage capacity of a purpose-made hiking bag with the camera hauling capability of a camera bag. Most importantly, however, is the incredible comfort and mobility that this bag offers for its size. This is especially important to me with my bad lower back. This wonderfully-designed and constructed photo-backpack is chock-full of neat little features: the drinking water reservoir holder, the tripod straps, hiking pole straps, and that really neat diffuser/reflector/raincover that is tucked away in the bag. This bag is really great and golla pays a lot of attention to detail on their bags. This bag is relatively small..if I could give some estimates, you'd only be able to hold a Sony NEX-7 with a lens attached and maybe a pancake lens and extra battery as well. Great build quality with quiet Velcro and a side Velcro strap for extra security. Good buy for small cameras.
Happy with purchase.

DEFINITELY BUY THIS BAG!!!
I LOVE my new Tamrac 5725 camera bag. I can wear it over my shoulder and it is always within easy reach if I need to change camera lenses. We recently took a bus tour, and wearing it over my shoulder, it sat nicely right next to me in my seat. Driving in the car, I keep it on the floor board next to my seat. It's always within reach, and is never in the way. I've used big square bags before, and they are really bulky and hard to carry around with you, especially if you are doing any walking. This bag is narrow and long. I used it as a purse and tucked my billfold, keys, and my Kindle inside. I only had to carry this one bag and I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this type of bag, especially when sightseeing. Depending on what I was taking pictures of, I changed back and forth many times between my regular lens and my zoom lens. It was nice having both with me at all times. During slow times, my camera, even with the zoom lens on it, fits into this bag in the very center. It was GREAT!
And of course, AMAZON had the best price!
The back-side slash pocket is unusable once I insert my notebook. And I was surprised Tamrac didn't include the typical trolley strap to hang the bag over a collapsible roller bag handle.
A PC notebook is almost a requirement for travelling dSLR camera users. If you fly, carry-on restrictions make it near impossible to carry separate PC and photo gear bags. At the same time, I want a bag that keeps my photo gear at the ready when I am walking or hiking. Backpacks are useless in this regard, and if you need a backpack for water, jacket, snacks, souvenirs, photo backpacks rarely have space for much non-photo gear.
While Tamrac bags are well made, bag makers in general need to study their markets a bit better.
This bag is a definite improvement. The main compartment comes with enough dividers to make 9 separate compartments. Currently, it holds my camera with lens attached, two additional lenses, plus some accessories, and there's still enough room left for two large lenses, multiple small ones, or other gear in the future. There is also a padded section within the main compartment big enough for a tablet or ultrathin laptop (but not a full size one), which I am currently using to hold the camera manual. The front compartment holds my charger, extra battery, cables, and lens cleaning supplies with room to spare.
On the back is a slim pocket that could hold paperwork, although it is not protected from the weather. There are elastic pockets on the sides, but they are not big enough to hold a water bottle. The sides also have attachments points for Tamrac's modular accessory system, however, which includes items such as a water bottle holder, tripod holder, lens cases, and other stuff.
Overall, I'm quite happy with this bag.

Love my bag and how you can customize the compartments to fit your gear. Very sturdy and professional looking. Very pleased with this bag.Best Deals for Tamrac 5725 Zuma 5 Photo/Laptop Bag - Black/Gray
This bag is meant for simultaneously transporting PC and photo gear. It mostly succeeds. I would have given a 5-star rating if the bag was literally a half-inch wider front to back, and if the front zipper pouch was a half-inch wider front to back. I have a 13.3 notebook with a built-in optical drive, and while it fits with my camera gear, it's snug. I can get my minimal photo accessories in the front pouch, but no provision was made for my notebook's charger and a compact mouse. Both the main-bag zipper and front-pouch zipper are really hard to close. In fact, I popped the pouch zipper once and luckily it repaired itself once I got the pouch fully unzippered. The next bigger bag (Zuma 7) is overkill for the amount of photo gear I carry. The back-side slash pocket is unusable once I insert my notebook. And I was surprised Tamrac didn't include the typical trolley strap to hang the bag over a collapsible roller bag handle.

After finally deciding to upgrade from a compact camera to one with interchangeable lenses, I first bought a bag from another company that many people seem to regard highly. It came with only two dividers for the main compartment, and the front compartment was pretty small. It was quite a disappointment. This bag is a definite improvement. The main compartment comes with enough dividers to make 9 separate compartments. With this bag I can travel with my laptop, camera and two lenses. I like the roomy pocket which accommodates folders, magazine and Kindle for traveling. The front interior variety of pockets is very helpful for the small stuff like memory cards, pens, small notebook, etc. However once all that is in there it's one heavy bag. While the bag holds up to the weight my shoulder does not. I'm about to add a portable memory device, not sure I can carry my Kindle too, looks like it'll be one or the other. Without the laptop in it the bag does not have any body of its own to provide protection for my precious camera cargo, it's a canvas bag after all. Overall good construction. I use it to transport, not for field use. I ended up purchasing a separate bag for day trips with my camera but like this when I want my laptop along as well. Love the blue color and the look because it doesn't holler camera bag.Tuesday, December 2, 2014

This bag is a great fit for those of you with the Canon Digital Rebel XT, plus an additional lens. My camera with the kit lens fits nicely, along with my Canon 50mm lens. The pockets in front and up top hold other small accessories such as the charger, cables and memory cards. If you're looking for something roomy, you should get a slightly larger bag. I was looking for a streamlined bag small enough to make me want to bring the camera with me regularly. This bag fits the bill perfectly. It's a great bag and has a lot of space to put all the accessories you need.

Cheap Kata Ergo-Tech Series Macro KB Mini-Belt Bag for Digital Camera
I have a Sony DSC-HX1 which is one of the new style smaller, but not pocket cameras. To carry it in the field I was looking for just a holster style case. I didn't need to carry extra lens and other gear. Maybe a battery and a memory card was all I needed. I wanted the smallest possible belt style carrying case. By the way, the B in Kata Macro KB stands for belt. The fit was tight, but the fabric was flexible. There are two partitions of the flexible fabric to hold the camera tight. I cut the rear piece out to allow a touch more room and left the front partition as the case has a plastic insert that might not be gentle to the lens. The camers stores in a perfect position for a 'quick-draw'. I believe the case can stand some rain.
For those looking for the same size but a little more protection, consider the Kata DH-421. It comes with a rain cover and shoulder straps. Both cases are perfect in a minimalist way for an afternoon hike.

I did purchase this case (originally at full price but was able to work out a discount later on). My DSC-RX1 arrived a few weeks before the case did and as a result I wound up NOT using the camera right away because I did not feel comfortable going "out and about" with my RX1 'naked' and without proper protection. The leather case is pricey yes, but I have to say that it is created using top quality leather > One sniff and I reminded of the time when I worked for my Grandfather as a youth; He raised Arabian Horses and used some really fine & expensive leather Saddles back then...
The stitching on the case is really nice too and I like the super soft extra padding sewn inside. No flaws that I can see. Very protective and yes, just to comment on what was said, the SONY logo is indeed centered perfectly and imbedded into the front of the housing. I think that the design is quite genious actually, especially in real world use where it is so easy to quickly unclip and remove the top cover for a quick photo while leaving a nice protective portion on the camera itself. I also find that portion of the case which is screwed into the tripod mount also makes the camera easier to hold and compose a shot. I basically felt compelled to write this review to counteract Robert's 1 star "review" below. I am very pleased with this case and its overall design. I always liked my case for my DSC-R1 that I bought back in 2005 (and still going strong) but I missed many a shot since I could never get the R1 out of the case quickly enough... that won't be a problem with the LCJRXB/B~! No regrets...

The selling point for the RX 1 is that you get a full frame camera in a small package. I have never before purchased a case for a compact camera, but because the RX 1 is expensive I ordered this case to protect my investment. This was a mistake. The case will certainly protect the camera, and it is well made, but it's unnecessarily bulky and obviates the principal reason for owning the RX 1. A peculiarity of the design of the case is that the upper part is fully detached from the sleeve that the body slots into, so that once removed to use the camera one has to find somewhere to stash it.Best Deals for Sony LCJRXB/B Genuine Leather Jacket Case for Camera (Black)
I was thinking of getting another half case that is available for the RX1, but none also offered a full case for the camera as well. The case is solid and well made, smells like real leather. It is two pieces, the bottom half case and the top cover, which connect via a snap at the bottom. When assembled and installed on the RX1, only the hooks for straps are exposed, the rest is snugly tucked away in the case. I would highly recommend this case as it is top notch, although some are going to look at the price and balk. I'm glad I made the investment in this full case as opposed to just a half case, especially when considering how much I love my RX1 and want to have a nice secure way to store it.Honest reviews on Sony LCJRXB/B Genuine Leather Jacket Case for Camera (Black)
It's bulky, heavy, ugly, doesn't come with a strap and especially : extremely impractical. The front of the case detaches completely if you open it to take a picture, leaving you with the problem of where to put it. And did I mention it was bulky, heavy? So one needs to carry a bag to stash the front part of the case, but if one carries a bag, why not keep the camera in it directly. By the time you prepare your camera, your window for the shot is long gone any how. Oh, and the ugly thing is way, way, way overpriced. And too ugly to take out of the closet.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Sony LCJRXB/B Genuine Leather Jacket Case for Camera (Black)
This is an extremely well constructed and designed leather case. It functions very well and provides enought additional grip (when used as a half case) to obviate the need for the poorly conceived Sony Thumb Grip. It is quite expensive but worth the cost IMO.Tuesday, September 2, 2014

I used my new Wild Grizzly Camera Bean Bag for my spring trip to Yellowstone National Park. It was wonderful, both the park and the Grizzly. I was able to use the SUV as my blind by putting the Grizzly on the window sill. The wildlife, who find autos normal, went about their daily routine providing for marvelous, exciting photography. On our hikes into the back county, the Grizzly was used on rocks, tree limbs, old fence rails. Great product. On my belly with the Grizzly, I obtained incredible close-ups.Best Deals for Grizzly Camera Bean Bag (Medium-Black), Photography Bean Bag, Video
Bought this in preparation for a trip where we would be shooting (photographs) from a vehicle. Filled the bag with seeds purchased locally and it worked great. Was most useful for longer lens (best for the 120-400mm lens) adding much need stability. You still needed to cut the engine because of vibration and keep people from inside the vehicle from moving around (sway). The size was just right for the above lens. Felt very well made, had a carrying handle on each side with Velcro to strap bring them together for carrying or for strapping on to a bag. Think it weighed a little under 5# when full. For what it is I thought that it was just a little on the expensive side and hence the 4 stars because of value. Still would I buy it again for a big trip? Yup wouldn't think twice.Honest reviews on Grizzly Camera Bean Bag (Medium-Black), Photography Bean Bag, Video

It doesn't come pre-filled with beans which was unfortunate. I filled mine with rice which made it a little heavier than I would have liked. I think it would be better if it came pre-filled with those light weight beans you find in most bean bags. I like the shape of it though at it readily sits on a vehicle window sill for steady shooting from a car.Friday, July 11, 2014

First the case: It's a nice an well made one. This thing will protect your camera very well and it's very well looking. The quality is good too.
The charger: works great and charge your bateries as they shoud. It as overchanging protection wich means that you battery will be keep safe and not not overcharged wich could reduce their lives. The battery: works good, not as good as the original ones, since they don't last too long, can tell about 200 shots. With the original ones you cant take almost 400 pics. But it's ok since is a backup batery.
The cable: No comments since I never used it.
If you are looking for a case, backup battery, cable and charger, look no further, this is the one.

Cheap Pink Semi-hard Magnetic Closure Digital Camera Case for Panasonic

THIS CASE IS EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED. I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE MAGNETIC CATCHES, BUT HAVE FOUND THEM TO BE VERY SECURE. THEY ARE ASLO VERY CONVIENIENT AND EASY TO USE.
OUR CAMERA (FS 7)FITS THE CSAE PERFECTLY. (A LITTLE TIGHT TO REMOVE THE CAMERA IN A BIG HURRY, BUT NOT REALLY A PROBLEM. THE SNUG FIT HELPS TO PROTECT THE CAMERA. (NOTE THE FIT IS SNUG NOT TIGHT)
MY WIFE CARRIES THIS IN HER POCKETBOOK. IT DOES NOT TAKE UP MUCH ROOM AT ALL.
WE WOULD RECOMEND THIS CASE FOR A LADIES POCKEBOOK OR A MAN'S POCKET.

Discount DSLR Camera Case designed for Canon EOS 600D, Rebel T3i + Premium
This case is a great fit for the Cannon Rebel T3i. It has a slim protective profile. I like to carry my camera in my purse and this case helps protect my camera without having the bulk of the large camera bag.

This case is really nice. The case is actually a hard case and provides ample protection to the Sony Cyber Shot Camera. The camera and the case fit perfect together. The USB adapter will also fit in the case, but the electric charger will not. The case comes with a sturdy metal clip which is bolted to the case. The color is a light/soft pink similar to the color that you can buy the Sony Cyber Shot camera in.

I purchased this carrying case because it had a hook that you can attach to your belt loop, purse, or in my case my saddle for when I am riding my horses. The outer case is a medium hardness and offers good protection in the event you drop the case. I like the dual zipper closure as I can quickly and easily grab my camera out of the case in a moments notice. I bought this for the Sony Cybershot and the camera fits very well in the case (except for this next part...) I gave this case four stars because I cannot strap my camera into the case like I had wanted. There is a velcro strap that is supposed to wrap around the camera to hold it in place, and my camera is too thick (even though it's a fairly thin camera) for the strap to wrap all the way around and hold it securely. I just keep both sides zipped up and leave the top open and drop my camera in the pouch and it still works for me. The case is hard enough the camera is going to be protected either way. However I would like the added security of the strap, especially since this was advertised to fit my specific camera. It does have a small mesh pouch inside the case for an extra battery or a usb cord. Overall I am pretty satisfied.Best Deals for BIRUGEAR Digital Camera Zipper Eva Pouch Carrying Case for Sony

If it were just a tad thicker, it would hold the extra battery and digital disks. As is, it is a snug fit just for the camera it professes to accommodate.
