I use this as a combination purpose bag: Cameras for light shooting work, extra camera gear bag, emergency gear bag for winter/blizzard travel, day pack for hiking up to 8 hours. It's easy to shoulder, unshoulder, organize, load and access gear.

It is not as easy to access as the outstanding LowePro Slingshot 300 (which I also use). NOTHING touches the Slingshot for rapid ease of access (you don't have to unshoulder it -just slide it down from your back to your waist) or for safety during access (divisions open face up when dropped to the waist), but then this doesn't COST as much as the superior LowePro products and has proven just about as durable.

I suspect that this is very close to the size of the Slingshot 200, but you save about 25% (today, about twenty bucks). If size is right and cash no object or if speed of access is absolutely essential, buy the LowePro Slingshot 200. If cost matter more, consider this Doluca.

I bought the large version. It is big and can hold lot of stuff. Only complaint i have is that if you don't fill up camera gear, it rattles. It would be good if there are more number of compartment padding so that you can customize it into small compartments.

Best Deals for Dolica DK-30 Large Travel Notebook Backpack/Sling

Pro's: Sturdy/durable, good carrying options,

Con's: Slots are too large, not enough slots/ pockets/ elastic rings for peripherals. Velcro dividers don't seem like they'll stay in place. The storage and spaces don't seem to make that much sense.

I have a Canon 7D with a 24-70mm, 50mm, and a 135mm fixed, all quality canon glass, some extra filters, a spare battery (no battery grip), a spare CF Card,lens cleaners, tripod, The space for the camera with 24-70mm attached is great with room to spare (almost too much room to spare). When I go to organize all my lens, I find that there's almost too much room for my lenses as well, so I feel like they're bumping around in there. i tried, re-positioning the dividers, but there's really only one divider that I can re-position that makes sense. That's complaint 1. My second complaint is that there aren't enough side pockets for all my peripherals to be secured, so I ended up just piling them in the top main compartment, which is almost like a small glove box. Although a very disorganized way to do this, I wouldn't mind it, but there's the compartment is not sealed off from the rest of the bag, so if my lens cleaner (it's shaped like a marker) sometimes falls through the crack and is floating around in my bag. Also, my extra filters don't have a secure and separate place to slide in, so they're jammed together in a compartment. There's plenty of space for the memory cards, but to tell you truthfully, I don't care if my extra memory cards are bumping around a pool of other items, they'll be just fine. But glass that's gonna be between myself and my subject, should have their own compartments. Overall a decent bag, but if I had to do it again, I'd go with something different.

Honest reviews on Dolica DK-30 Large Travel Notebook Backpack/Sling

A very nice looking bag with great storage but at this point, I'm highly frustrated and very disappointed in the initial quality of this bag and that's even before first use. I already have a functional camera bag but was excited to get this larger backpack to tote my camera and additional gear in. I opened the bag today and alas the zipper along the top is jammed or broken. I've been working on it to see if I can get it to work but to no avail. Can't say that I'm looking forward to contacting Dolica's customer service as they 1. Don't provide an 800 number and 2. It looks as though I'll have to pay to send the bag in for repair and then they decide if it qualifies for the warranty. New bag that's already broken = UPSET. I don't feel like having to take the time OR expense to fix this unexpected and unwanted problem when it should have been first rate quality to begin with.

Bought the Dolica DK-30 bag, after having been pleased with their CF tripod, my specific purpose was to store and carry my gear and laptop on long trips, I should say the bag did not meet the purpos. My main issues are

1) The seam that attaches the shoulder straps to the bag has given away

2) The seam that run around the laptop case is giving away.

3) Not happy with the placement of the tripod holder. with the Tripod mounted, the entire weight of the tripod rests on the Zippers of the front flap, which would eventually weaken the zippers.

I was carrying a D7000 with 4 lenses, a Flash and a laptop with a few accessories, always used it n the two shoulder strap configuration

This is a really good case for Panasonic FZ long zoom cameras (FZ18, FZ28, FZ35, etc.). Especially good if you don't need to bring along filters or other accessories and just want to protect your camera inside of a backpack or daypack. If you are looking for a slighter larger case standalone case then you should look at Tamrac 5230 T30 Camera/Camcorder Bag (Black)

I am also now using this case for a DMC-G5 with 14-45mm lens attached. I think it's a slightly better fit that this one OP/TECH USA Soft Pouch Digital D-M 4/3 Black.

I was looking for a snug protective cover for the Panasonic Lumix FZ35, and this fits well. There is room for the lens hood, with the adapter threaded on the camera--the lens cap fits on the adapter--and the hood removed and reversed in the nose of the bag (I use a soft cloth over the hood.) Without the hood the stretch material is still snug enough to fit over the front of the camera. Lightweight, it hangs out of the way from the strap when the camera is in use. Note that in this size the cover only attaches with a strap clip; the tripod thread attachment is not offered.

Best Deals for OP/TECH USA Soft Pouch Digital D-Offset - Black

I have been using this nifty camera case for almost a year. I'm back on Amazon now to buy a replacement. It does have a little strap to connect to the camera, which I always used, but it somehow fell off without my noticing during a meandering, photo-clicking path through the Denver Zoo. My HX100V fits very well, snug around the body but with a bit of room to spare in front of the lens. The case does not interfere with use of the camera straps. In the end, the camera with the pouch on is only slightly larger than the camera on its own, which is just what I wanted. I don't like to carry a big camera case, preferring this sleek liner (like a scuba suit for my camera) so I can fit it neatly into a backpack or carry-on. The case provides light cushioning, but protects mostly against scratches--falls, not so much, I would think. If you prefer something somewhat more protective or a bit bigger to carry accessories, but still not oversized, I would recommend looking into the Case Logic DCB-304 High/Fixed Zoom Camera Case (Black). I tried it too, and while I liked it overall, it was too bulky for my minimalist preferences. Obviously, I would buy this case again, because here I am, doing just that!

Honest reviews on OP/TECH USA Soft Pouch Digital D-Offset - Black

Great camera pouch that fits well and offers protection for my Canon SX50-HS. Unfortunately my case was missing a press stud on the strap, reducing options for attaching it to my camera.

I bought this for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ40. It has been the best find! I can just "toss" it in my bag and go when I don't want to carry my bulky camera bag. It is easy to get your camera in and out of the pouch. Just fold back the open and insert camera then fold back closed. It seems durable and well made.

Canon PSC-910 Deluxe Leather Case for Powershot S90, S95, S100 Review

Canon PSC-910 Deluxe Leather Case for Powershot S90, S95, S100 and S110 Digital Cameras
Customer Ratings: 4 stars

Good stuff:

fit. This case preserves camera compact credentials by tightly hugging it on all sides

protection. I feel confident handling the camera while it is in this case as it's hard shell should protect camera against bumps and even moderate falls.

included neck strap. Camera is always easy to grab and ready to shoot. This is fine alternative to belt cases.

tripod adapter. Camera is secured in the case by tripod adapter that allows me to attach tripod without taking camera out of the case. I often carry it with Gorillapod Video Tripod (Black/Blue) attached, so it is ready for the those shots that require camera to be stabilized.

Canon logo. Hey, we all love our camera, so why not being proud of it :-). Besides, this is officially authorized Canon case, which means that it undergoes stringent specifications requirements and tight quality control before reaching the customers

price. This case looks and feels it's suggested MSRP price, so the 'Deluxe' part of the title is not just a moniker. Buying it at it's current ten dollar (with free Prime shipping) tag is a real bargain.

Not so good stuff:

real leather? I am not an expert but it looks like faux leather to me. No indication on the case except 'Made in China' stamp. Anyway, case looks and feels nice inside and out and provides excellent protection, so the only difference may be the longevity, which I am not ready to judge.

two-piece construction. Case consists of two separate pieces: the sides/bottom piece that is securely connected to the camera and front/top/back piece that connects to the bottom part via three buttons. When you prepare camera for shooting you need to remove the front of the case and you have three ways of doing it: completely unbuttoning it and storing separately or unbuttoning either right most button or two center buttons. Practically though only the first way is useful because the other two alternatives leave front portion of the case hanging freely from the camera and not only making camera uncomfortable to handle but also not hanging very securely as any slight pull might separate the front portion of the case with you either loosing it or having to catch as it falls to the ground. So the dilemma is once you separate the front portion of the case from the rest of the camera, where do you keep it? In the bag? In coat pocket? Either way this is a problem waiting for solution and distracting from using your camera.

So, which case should you buy? If you need more storage for spare battery or memory card, you need to keep looking for a larger case with additional compartments for the accessories. If you are comfortable wearing your camera on the belt, then Canon PSC-500 Deluxe Soft Case is an excellent choice. If you are looking for more sophisticated look, neck strap and ability to leave tripod attached, then this case is a very fine choice and you will not be disappointed.

First the good stuff:

Great looking, looks like leather to me. Easy to put on and take off. Solid protection. Great fit. Makes the camera easier to hold.

And now, the not so great:

Neck strap is uncomfortable (I took it off, no biggie). No storage space, even for an extra memory card. The bottom of cover covers the microphones on front, and so it must be completely removed when making movies. The cover also inhibits use of the lens adjustment ring; you can still access it while shooting, it is just a little more awkward with the case on.

Overall, a satisfying purchase, but I might get a soft case with storage when I take this on vacation.

Best Deals for Canon PSC-910 Deluxe Leather Case for Powershot S90, S95, S100

This little case is totally worth it.

I am not sure if it is leather or pleather, but if fake it is, the best fake I have ever seen.

And new Canon owners of the S100 will be glad to know it will fit the newer model too.

Yes there are small size differences to the 95, but not enough to make the case unusable. For $10 I took the chance and am very happy with it. Now my little S100 is protected while banging around in my truck or a back.

Honest reviews on Canon PSC-910 Deluxe Leather Case for Powershot S90, S95, S100

This camera case is simple, however, very sturdy and gets the job done. Digital cameras are delicate and this leather case protects with minimal ease. I would recommend this product. The case is not too heavy or bulky making travel to and fro not a concern. The case was purchased while on sale and it would have been well worth the original purchase price.

I attend a lot of festivals and events. I was in need of a camera case for my canon s100 that would protect my camera without having to constantly remove the case. There were no options available. I ran across this case and read the size of the s95 and s100 are comparable. For around $10 it wasn't a big loss if it didn't work. However this fit my s100 like a glove. The provided strap is also long enough that I can sling the camera over my neck and shoulder. I can walk and dance without it getting in my way at all.

This case fit my camera although it was a little snug. You can only open it partially to get the camera in. I guess that could be a good thing too as it can't fall out. At first it annoyed me but I have gotten used to it. I like that the shell is hard for protection. It was a decent buy for the price.

I got this for $2.37 Sold by and fulfilled by Amazon.com. For the price I paid, I decided to give this company a shot. The Amazon.com listed MSRP is astronomically too high and the Tenba website does not list this product.

PROS: * Looks good * Made out of quality materials * Reasonably rugged * Velcro closure is secure, but not exceptional * Both pockets are well made * Included neck strap is very good, especially for the price * Belt loop is well designed * Light weight

CONS: * Pockets are not padded Okay, considering the price I paid * Case offers little shock absorption.

OVERALL: If you pay what I paid, this is a four star case. However, if you pay a lot more for this case, this is a three star product. The price I paid is highly unusual, especially considering the current prices of the other colors.

This bag is perfect for my Canon dslr. It is just small enough to fit my camera in the one side and my charger, some cords and small filters in the other side. The blue is just like the picture, it is bright and super cute! Glad I got this instead of a boring ol' bag from best buuy :)

My camera bag arrived and although the color was nice, it appeared to have been cheaply made. The size was good (just enough to fit my t2i) but I was disheartened when I noticed the interior completely smelled of a very strong cigarette smoke odor. The seller explained that the odor came from the materials it's made of and that it eventually goes away. I left the bag open for a few days to air out but the smell quickly filled up my bedroom and it was so strong I just couldn't get over it. It smells just like cigarette smoke. I eventually returned it at my own cost and didn't get reimbursed for initial shipping or the return shipping.

I bought this bag for my 13-yr-old daughter and she loves it! It's cute and fun. I like that it wasn't very big but that can be a drawback for others. Only holds camera and a few accessories (not a 2nd lens for example). But works well for the price :)

Honest reviews on VanGoddy Laurel Sky Blue Compact Entry Level Canon DSLR & SLR

I love the size, color, and feel of the case. It seems to do a good job protecting my Canon Rebel T4i, which is the main concern. My only dislike is that my zipper gets stuck on the padding on one side when trying to open the camera portion, so I have to retry several times before I can get it open. Also, it's a bit snug with the neck strap fitting inside, as well, but it does all fit. Overall I think this is a very stylish bag that is convenient for taking with you anywhere.

Kata DB-453 DPS Series Digital Bag for a Camera and Personal Review

Kata DB-453 DPS Series Digital Bag for a Camera and Personal Day-to-Day Gear
Customer Ratings: 4 stars
Buy Now
I bought this with a very specific purpose in mind: a forthcoming trip in which I will be carrying both a dSLR + lenses and a bridge (ultrazoom) camera, plus laptop and all the other gear we seem to be unable to live without nowadays. My dSLR in its Crumpler bag fits nicely in my backpack (which is not a photo backpack) along with the laptop, but there's no way I can stick a second camera in there. So the Kata DB-453 will serve a double purpose: to accomodate the camera plus travel odds and ends, going under the seat in the airplane.

As far as intent goes, the Kata is a winner. My Panasonic ultrazoom fits well in the little yellow padded bag (like a small independent camera bag) that comes with the big bag. Once the small bag is placed in the main compartment, there is space left over both to its side and behind it, where there is a large pocket. The main compartment is zippered.

There is another zippered compartment in the front of the bag, with dividers for pens and not-so-small items. There is plenty of space all over to carry tons of stuff -including spare batteries, cards, reading materials, pens, passport, wallet, MP3 player, cellphone, chargers, you name it.

A big flap covers both compartments and closes snugly via snaps on both sides -no chance of water ever getting in there. There are also two flexible (neoprene-like feel) lateral compartments closed with velcro, where a small water bottle and other items will easily fit.

The bag is made of heavy-duty black nylon and the interior is all yellow nylon (or Yellop, according to the manufacturer), making it nearly impossible to lose things in it. Anywhere you look there are two layers of fabric. The construction is solid, very very well made and seems able to withstand whatever you throw at it. I'm betting that if you threw this off a cliff the camera would be intact when it arrived down there.

The shoulder strap is very comfortable, with padding to ease the load. It hooks on to the lateral metal rings via tight -aka will NOT open unintentionally -snap fasteners which I hope will last as long as the bag.

Construction aside, another aspect I like is that it doesn't really look like a camera bag. The flap gives it a handbag style (you have to know what the Kata logo stands for to figure it out) and, if you remove the small padded camera bag, it could actually be used like one.

The Kata DB-453 DPS will be put to the test soon, and by the look of it I'm pretty sure it will breeze through. I wish there were other reviews of it, but I'm willing to be the guinea pig here and hope this review will help others.

this bag is very well protected, slim, compact and fits lots of things inside it. there are no loud velcros (unlike the crumplers), it's not bulky this bag has it all:

* durability

* compact

* slim

* great protection

* inconspicuous

* fits at least two lenses, a camera, and a flash

It doesn't fit a laptop (the DB-455 does), but it is an awesome everyday shooting bag. What's great about it too, is it comes with a little pouch for your d/slr and a lens and speedlite. The bag can also function as a non-camera bag. For $50,i think it's under-priced.

Best Deals for Kata DB-453 DPS Series Digital Bag for a Camera and Personal

As it's called, it's a good camera bag and general day to day bag. I made the mistake of not checking the internal dimensions but it just barely fits the X220 Tablet (12.5" laptop) however it doesn't have enough space for a camera too. It's a good small sized bag just for a camera and some accessories.

Honest reviews on Kata DB-453 DPS Series Digital Bag for a Camera and Personal

FYI -> the iPad fits perfectly in the inside pocket.

This is my second Kata bag I also have a Bubmlebee for carrying medium format camera kit.

Besides the quality construction and the weatherproof nature of the design, I really like the yellow color of all the internal nylon fabric. Makes it really easy to see what's where.

I carry around a mirrorless Compact System Camera (Panasonic Lumix G5) and 2 kit lenses (14-42mm and 45-150mm) in the photo insert bag. In the leftover room in the big bag, I'll usually include a small point-and-shoot camera too. Side pockets are nice to carry a water bottle and some sunscreen (though that makes the inside of the main compartment a little more cramped). My ipad with the slim smart cover fits into the pocket in the back of the main compartment. With a bulkier cover, it wouldn't fit inside that pocket but could still fit in the bag fine. I keep the ipad with the screen facing inwards to help protect it. Bright yellow interior makes it easy to see what's inside. In the front zip-up section, I can carry a paper notebook, wallet, cell phone, and small misc items. With the flap and multiple zippers and the outside material, I don't really worry about my stuff getting wet in light rain for short periods of time. There's a strap across the back that's useful for grabbing hold of the bag but especially useful when traveling and I can slide it over the extendable handle of my rolling carry-on to give my back a bit of a break. The removable photo insert makes it easy to slide the photo insert into another bag to let me keep my camera protected if I'm using a bag that wasn't originally designed to carry cameras. While the Kata log is already decently subtle, putting the photo insert into a non-camera bag is even more hidden. The only feature I wish this had would be velcro straps on the outside to hold a tripod. Thanks Kata and Amazon for offering this great bag!

This case is really nice. The case is actually a hard case and provides ample protection to the Sony Cyber Shot Camera. The camera and the case fit perfect together. The USB adapter will also fit in the case, but the electric charger will not. The case comes with a sturdy metal clip which is bolted to the case. The color is a light/soft pink similar to the color that you can buy the Sony Cyber Shot camera in.

I purchased this carrying case because it had a hook that you can attach to your belt loop, purse, or in my case my saddle for when I am riding my horses. The outer case is a medium hardness and offers good protection in the event you drop the case. I like the dual zipper closure as I can quickly and easily grab my camera out of the case in a moments notice. I bought this for the Sony Cybershot and the camera fits very well in the case (except for this next part...) I gave this case four stars because I cannot strap my camera into the case like I had wanted. There is a velcro strap that is supposed to wrap around the camera to hold it in place, and my camera is too thick (even though it's a fairly thin camera) for the strap to wrap all the way around and hold it securely. I just keep both sides zipped up and leave the top open and drop my camera in the pouch and it still works for me. The case is hard enough the camera is going to be protected either way. However I would like the added security of the strap, especially since this was advertised to fit my specific camera. It does have a small mesh pouch inside the case for an extra battery or a usb cord. Overall I am pretty satisfied.

I bought this thinking that the hard shell would protect my camera better. Unfortunately, there is no "give" at all to the material it does not stretch even a little bit. First the zipper broke, then I was able to fix it. Then, since the camera is so tightly packed in it, the case presses on the "on" button, turns the camera on when the case is closed and the camera drains of power. I certainly would not recommend this product!

This needs a carrying strap or something because the belt loop idea is kind of old-school. It is supposed to attach to the cameras string loop but is very annoying to execute. I do love the color and that it is more of a hard case for better camera protection. This is almost a red patent leather that helps me find it and sparkles in the sun, sounds tacky but its not!
