This is a flimsy bag w/pockets of varying sizes. Not padded well (at all?). In THEORY, one could say that this is a carrying case for the Zoom H4n. One could also say that this is a carrying case for one's lunch, a portable hard drive, pens and pencils, and a variety of other things. It's just a bag w/a zipper. Get the small World Tour padded bag for the H4n.

I was disappointed in this item. I thought that it was designed for my H4N but it's generic. It just a gig bag that zips with some pockets inside.

Snugly fits my Sony DSC-RX100, which adds to the overall compact feel. Mostly pros, love the hard shell and material feel and the water protection for the zipper. The adjustable Velcro belt strap is a nice touch. Got a small pocket inside pocket as well for memory cards etc.

Only con is the inside of the zipper has no soft lining, so it might scratch the LCD. That doesn't mean it will. If you have LCD protection on your camera, that shouldn't matter.

Look and feel of the case is slick, compact and high quality.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

This is a worthless and potentially damaging case for the Sony Cyber-shot RX100. Sony literature, included with the case, says the case is for use with the DSC-H30V, 30, 20V, 10V, 10, 9V, 9, 7, 90, & 70, BUT NOT RX100.

The case has major design flaws for the RX100. Specifically:

(1) Case has insufficient depth to accommodate the RX100 safely without applying undesirable, overall pressure that can damage either the lens, or the rear LCD screen or both.

(2) The interior of the front portion of the case has a large and rather thick, internal flap with Velcro fastener that closes an internal pocket presumably for storage of SD cards. The flap's location puts undesirable pressure on the iris opening cover of the front lens assembly potentially damaging it, OR pressure on the rear LCD screen potentially scratching/cracking it depending on which direction the camera faces in the case.

(3) The case's front and back covers must be squeezed together to close the zipper because the camera's depth is greater than the inside dimension of the case. This zippering action squeezes the camera in the case and against the rough internal pocket clasp. Two damage scenarios are likely: (1) If the lens' rather delicate, automatic-closing iris comes in contact with the clasp, it may be damaged; (2) If the LCD screen comes in contact with the clasp, it may be scratched or cracked. Under normal use, the camera will shake within the case increasing the damage potential. In addition, camera users have reported that the LCD screen scratches easily.

(4) Literature included with the case does not indicate use with the RX100, although it is advertised as an accessory for the RX100. It may be convenient for Sony to offer this existing case as a RX100 assessory, but, quite simply, the camera does not fit comfortably, without stress, in the case.

(5) Overall, I consider this a useless and potentially damaging case for a camera valued at $650.

So, by now many are saying, "Why all the fuss? This is just simply a case!"

My point exactly! Why can't Sony just simply design a case that fits and provides proper protection for the RX100, instead of using a one-fits-all, universal design more suitable for less demanding applications?

Sony the ball is in your hands!

I've purchased several cases for my DSC-HX20V Cybershot. This case is, without doubt, the most protective. Love it. It doesn't hold much in the way of accessories but that's the only "slight' negative. It will protect your camera from a bump or a short fall due to it's hard shell in the front and overall protective quality. I position my camera front facing the hard side when I put it in the case. Recommended!

Honest reviews on Sony Cyber-shot Camera Case LCMCSVH/B

The case fits well. Good for travel and packing your camera away because the case is a hard case. Will not let your camera get smashed or broken. But if you are trying to pack your camera away in your purse (or smaller area), it is a bit bulky. There is only room for the camera and there is no space to stuff in an extra battery.

I purchased the Sony DSC-RX100 a couple of months ago along with this case. It fits the camera nicely and I was quite content with it. Then the Sony Jacket Case for Cyber-shot RX100 (product number LCJRXA/B) came on the market. Where the generic case is good, the form-fitting Jacket Case is fantastic. The Jacket Case costs a lot more than this one, but it is so worth it! Please take a look at my separate review of the Jacket Case for more detail.

I think it is very sturdy. Some reviews say that zipper fell apart and the fabric ripped? Can't imagine anything like this happening. Must have given it to their monkey? The case, however could not be closed as the camera, a Canon Sure Shot SX 120is with 10x Zoom, is too wide for the case. No matter, I will give it to my wife for her smaller digital.

I can't recommend this case not for the expense for what little it is and definitely not for the inflated shipping costs. This little case is fair as far as cases go, but it is 'really' tiny. You'll be hard pressed to fit more than another card in it (and maybe without the SD card's protective case depending on the size of it). I normally like to carry a spare battery, but it seems I'll have to choose between card and battery. The shipping was not the $2.98 quoted when I checked shipping costs prior to purchasing but an unjustified $6.98. Crazy. Contacted the seller about shipping discrepancy, but they would do nothing. Shop elsewhere.

bought it for my mother-in-law and she loves it! Her favorite color is red too very soft and a nice safety cushion for any smaller compact camera

Honest reviews on rooCASE (Flamming Red) SLV2 Neoprene Sleeve Carrying Case Panasonic

I got the case at the same time I purchased the Panasonic Lumix DMS-TS3. (Cameras should be shipped with a case, I think.) The case was serving me well for over two years now. I find the whole edge and corners reasonably padded, so it prevents the camera from results of abuse. Since it is not a hard case, it can be put in a pocket, when not in use, without even knowing about it. The zippered side pocket will hold a spare battery, though it is bulging out. And, the bulge rubs on other stuff, so it gets dirty. I did not try to wash it, I used the camera in environment, where it does not matter.

The case I have does not look quite like the one pictured, which seems to open fully on one long and one short side. Mine opens the long top starting on the short sides, two thirds up, same distance on both.

It is advertised as "Flamming red." It is red, but not flamming.

Why only three points? A case with the same features can be found in many discount stores, for less money. You just have to have your camera in hand and try what fits.

Bought this bag 2nd-hand in like new condition for $100. I use it to carry 40D+24-105 and 5D+ 100-400, and a Sigma 8mm fish or some little prime, or similar arrangement. This is one of the few bags that allow two body + two long zoom attached face down in the bag. So my choice is limited.

Pro:

Extremely light weight for its capacity!

Capacity to have 5D attached to big L zoom face down in the bag ready to shoot

Looks like a cheap laptop bag

Very reasonable price buying used

Reasonably good quality

Useful rain cover. I listed this as "useless" before and now after a trip to the snowy Lake Tahoe I changed my mind. This cover turned out to be really useful and effective. I ignored the light snow for a few minutes which almost killed my 5D camera. As the snow got heavier the bag starts to get dangerously wet and then I realized that I have this cover hidden inside the bag. It worked!

Neutral:

Some cute but not so useful gimmicks in the bag a rather large and bulky card folder (too large to be useful for me), a complicated (spells useless to me) body strap of some sort, two key links in the front pockets, two attached LCD wipes in the main divisions... I could do without any and all of these.

Con:

Uncomfortable shoulder belt (immediately replaced with my own taken from a laptop bag)

The top open zipper is of so-so quality, hard to open and close when the bag is loaded, must use both hands.

The pockets in the front are hard to reach. The front flap is hard to open once locked.

5D+big zoom can fit in 1 of the 3 vertical partition but not easy to taking it out or putting back in.

Bottom line -

This bag does serve my purpose, but rather awkwardly with little elegance. The design was great but executed poorly. The original shoulder belt was designed for carrying on one shoulder only, which is odd considering the weight this bag is to carry. But the combination of stealth look, the extreme light weight (for its capacity), and the very reasonable price easily earn this bag a 4 star.

P.S. I've been using Tamrac System 6 and 12 in the past. Tamrac has far better shoulder belt, much easier access to the equipment (despite of the big top/front cover), and far more functional and accessible front and side pockets, even the zippers are better. But the Tamrac bags are simply not deep enough to carry big DSLR with big zoom mounted, which I love to do. I forced them in these bags in the past with a few close calls. Then the other day my 40D mounted with a Tamron 18-270VR (not even a big zoom) finally fell out from the bag with the front buckle still locked, damaged my lens. I have to switch to something deeper. So now I'll see how long the Lowepro will last.

After a few extended trip with this bag, I am happy with it. The zipper is not easy to work with, but I got used to it. With the camera+big lens in ready mode is really a big plus for this bag. It's pretty big, bigger than I originally thought. But not that heavy and not too wide like the System 12. So I can get around in a crowded elevator more easily.

When I was looking for a new camera bag, I had several criteria that had to be met in order for me to even consider that bag.

1. Must fit two DSLR with 70-200mm f2.8 size lens attached

2. Cameras are easy to access

3. Bag must be fairly compact yet hold a lot of gear

4. Bag must have weather protection

Based on these criteria, I decided to go with a messenger type camera bag (shoulder bag). There are a lot of good messenger type bags out there, but I needed one that would hold two DSLR lens with lens attached and this one fit the bill well. My bag currently hold a Nikon D700 with 80-200mm f2.8 attached, Nikon D5000 with Sigma 8-16mm attached, Nikon 24-70mm f2.8, and Nikon SB-600. Everything fits well with some room to spare and the bag closes easily.

As with other messenger type bags, the cameras are easy to access. The bag is easy to open and I have full access to both cameras. I can switch cameras quickly and easily and change my lens with no problem.

The bag has a fairly slim profile for the amount of gear it holds. In addition to my two DSLR, lens and flash I keep in the main compartment, I also carry spare battery, hard drive, filters and cables in the outside pocket. Yes, the bag can get pretty heavy, but that's because it holds a lot of gear. In regards to comfort, if I was going on a long hiking trip I would probably use my backpack camera bag over this, but for going around town or going to events, this bag is fine.

The bag also contains a rain cover attached to the bag. I admit that I have not had to put it to the test yet, but it seems to fit the bags very nicely and deploys easily.

Overall this is a fairly decent camera bag. If you're looking for a good messenger type bag that can hold two DSLR with their lens attached, than this bag isn't a bad choice.

Best Deals for Lowepro Classified 200 AW

This is great to carry 2 DSLRs, w/200mm zoom attached to one, smaller lens on the other, plus flash and a few accessories. Smaller than the 250AW... if your cameras are equiped with vertical battery grips, or if you want to carry even more gear, you'll want the larger 250AW, but this is a nice slim alternative and will accommodate two fully equipped DSLR w/out vertical grips.

Honest reviews on Lowepro Classified 200 AW

Things look good, quality is very good. The interior space is reasonable, sufficient to put my camera and a telephoto lens, is a large size exceeding one's expectations.Cost of things is also good, worthy of recommendation.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Lowepro Classified 200 AW

This bag makes my heart happy ^_^ I spent a great deal of time looking at products of this size, and and extremely happy with this one. First off, the quality was far beyond any other products in this price range, and, as cheap as I am, I probably would have had no qualms paying double what I did for it. I am *that* impressed. I also think its fairly stylish and not too overt in announcing to the world "Hey! I'm carting around thousands of dollars!". I found it had enough space, and when I thought I had filled it sufficiently, I was able to fit a few more key pieces of equipment inside. And then some more. The problem when you reach that point, however, is that it becomes quite burdensome to carry around. Yes, it comes with some form of waist strap that supposedly takes the weight off the one shoulder and redistributes it but I didn't find this to be particularly true. All it does is glue it to your hip so when walking, you have to swing twice as hard with that hip to propel yourself forward. Also, along with what everyone else says, I find it irritating that the pad on the shoulder strap is stitched into place. It can be adjusted a little bit by loosening one end and tightening the other, but once its on you, its phenomenally hard to get it to move. In short: I love this bag and think its awesome for carting everything along on long trips, but it is *not* a replacement for a small, walkabout day bag. You will want to make sure you either have a safe place to set it down when you are out and about, or in addition to this, bring something smaller to carry around just one or two lenses so you can leave this beast in your hotel room or something.

I went to a Snorkelling Tour with some friends and IT WORKED! Even though I had my doubts but I'm glad I was wrong. In short, I like this product for the following reasons:

PROs

Price wise (won't say it's cheap as cheap = no quality) this is an affordable good quality item and IT DOES WORK!

It does what it says, kept my Flip Mino III HD clear of water (make sure to read instructions and please take your time to seal the pouch, don't just zip it and go...

Vendor response (I've emailed them and got a good response)

CONs

The only thing I didn't like about this purchase was that I had no tracking number from vendor which made it difficult for me to track and there was a chance it may get lost on the shipping. Fortunatly, my fear dissapeared when it got to my hands.

Seems that even though the item came with a small deffect (as the outer seal it's twisted and therefore not locking properly) still got the job on my tour without damaging my Flip Cam. (that is why I said before good quality as 2nd seal held the work load), however I'm in contact with vendor to see that they are going to do to get this deffect on my pouch.

I will keep posting about experience. So far, over all I grade this product a 4 STARS!

My last update on this item... A week later after I contact the reseller I got a the replacement unit with no defect. Really good product! I've used it with my Ipod and no regrets!

I strongly advise to buy from this seller... really had my dollars worth!

You get what you pay for but, so far, this hasn't proven to be worth using. It's flimsy and stiff but cheap.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

Overall I've been pleased with this, though it has a few key drawbacks. Most prominently, while the plastic is good and thick, it seems brittle, so if anything does break, it'll probably break all at once, dumping your investment on the ground. I've swung this around a bit without incident, so it's certainly not an imminent danger, but the potential is there.

The other more present problem is that it's *really* wide. It's 4 1/4" wide by 4 1/2" long, and it's (understandably) stiff. That means that when it's on my hip which is where I want it the middle is pressed tightly against my hip while the sides stick out about an inch each. It's literally just a big flat plate pressed up against your skin and bone. I'm 6'2" and 158lbs, so pretty skinny. Maybe it would be more comfortable with a little more meat, but I don't know. It would be hard to make 4 1/4" of stiff plastic really comfortable.

As for the pros, it's wildly convenient! I love letting my camera swing at my hip. I can just reach down to stabilize it a little while I jog. It's got a fantastically-designed locking mechanism that keeps the camera securely in place until you push down (deliberately) against your hip to release it.

All in all, pretty cool. For this price, I'd certainly buy it again (though obviously not if the reason I was buying it again were because it broke!).

Best Deals for Camera Belt Harness for SLR/DSLR/Point-and-Shoot

It's probably the cheapest accessory you can buy for an SLR and you can not have to fuss with toting around a big camera. Unless you really enjoy toting around a huge bag or slinging your camera over your shoulder and then slamming the camera into anything you walk by, you need this.

I have a full sized SLR and a 28-150mm lens and I can just hook the whole thing on my belt and forget about it. The quick draw works great. When I'm at music festivals, boat parties or nightclubs I like to dance around as well and I can dance and the camera is safe and secure on my waist with no flopping around. You can hook you camera on your belt and then change lenses, do simple maintenance such as add accessories flash setups etc while having both hands free.

If you are an action photographer this is a must.

Honest reviews on Camera Belt Harness for SLR/DSLR/Point-and-Shoot

I got this for hiking to use with my single lens digital camera (Lumix) and took it out last weekend for a test run. I attached the harness to my lumbar pack strap. The screw on base took a bit of manuevering to get the direction of the item to my liking but didn't take long. At first I was cautious, fearing the clip wouldn't hold but after hiking for awhile, I was quite satisfied that my camera wasn't going anywhere. I love how easily the clip pops out for use (just press the base in and slide it up and out) but how securely it locks in place. My neck wasn't weighted down from the strap, nor was my camera banging around getting in the way. I should have gotten this months ago! Entirely pleased with the product and highly recommended!
