Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program When you unroll the top of this bag it is about 31 inches tall. The opening is about 21 inches wide. I like that this opening is so large. It makes getting the smaller bag in and out fairly easy.
The exterior (yellow) bag is made of a very durable waterproof material.
Inside, you will find a separate camera bag that you can pull out. It is gray in color and has a zippered top and double handles. It contains padded dividers (that have hook & loop tape) the you can configure into any arrangement that suits you. The top dimensions of the gray bag are ~13" X 7.5" at the top and slightly smaller at the bottom (~11" X 6"). It is 10 inches high.
This camera backpack is really well made and comfortable to use. The backpack straps are adjustable and have reinforcing straps at the upper chest and waist.
This is a great bag for anyone who does a lot of outdoor photography.

I have not actually used this yet in a situation where I needed water protection but I have played around with the bag. I like the size. I always struggle with bag sizes because I tend to pack more than I can carry without being miserable so I picked the smaller size but still have plenty of room for my camera body, a couple of lenses and other items I would need to carry with me. It folds and clips down enough to make me comfortable about protecting my equipment from the elements. I also really like the removable padded case that can be used in different bags.

The pictures just don't do it justice. When you unbox the Lowepro for the first time, you'll be astounded by the color intensity (sunglasses recommended).
I wondered at first if I'd really want to wear this thing, but after the initial shock, it seemed like a good idea...hiking in the wilderness, easy tool for a helicopter (or a satellite) to spot you if you're lost.
The bag is not water-proof. It's splash proof, rainproof. You could get it quite wet and protect your camera, but it's not billed as being 100% waterproof, just FYI. The IPX-6 rating is for water being blasted at the case and not submerged (that's IPX-7), but the standard testing is a bombardment of water at 100 liters per second for at least 3 minutes.
The material is great and waterproof as far as I can see, it's most likely the opening that could provide trouble if you accidentally drop the case in the river and can't recover it for 8 hours.
With that said, it seems like it provides more than enough protection.
We took it on a photo shoot in a canyon, walking through the river most of the time, and felt great to have the splash proof assurance should I stumble or fall.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind.
The way the bag works is by rolling down the top and then buckling the edges down. If you're used to sling pack with easy access to your camera, this is not it. The top of the bag when unrolled is quit tall. You'll want to set the bag down to open it to get your camera out. It's a little bit of a hassle if you plan to be on the move a lot, but still near or in the water.
The bag is comfortable and has a backing to help provide airflow to your back.
The bag comes with an interior bag for storing your camera. It would have been better if the interior bag had a shoulder strap that you could use to keep the camera for quick access and independent use, but oh well.
Another note, that if you plan on putting much else in the bag in addition to the included interior camera bag, you might be disappointed. the bag won't roll down as far and provides less water protection if you put much more stuff in the bag.
In a tight spot, the bag could potentially be used as a flotation device. Just capture some air in the bag before closing it. That could make everyone that jokes about it holding a raft eat their words when the flash flood comes down the canyon.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Super fantastic camera backpack, if a waterproof pack is what you really need.
If you are a photography enthusiast and just can't imagine leaving your best gear at home when you plan to go on an outing that involves water e.g., canoeing, whitewater rafting, water skiing, wake boarding, or hiking pretty much anywhere in western Washington or Oregon...heh heh...etc., then you should look into this product.
The bag has comfortable, heavy-duty shoulder straps. The main body of the pack is bright yellow, heavy rubberized material. I have to admit that I am still a little leery of the ability of this bag to resist punctures, but so far so good. There are also external points (gray areas) where you can strap additional things to the outside of the pack (straps not included).
When the pack is open it's simply an open-topped compartment no zippers, snaps, or other closing devices. When you are ready to close it up for wet work, then you hold the front and back edges of the top of the pack together (there are gray strips that show you what goes against what) and you roll the top of the pack down, preferably at least two full rolls. You then insert snaps into buckles on both sides of the pack and you cinch them down. Viola protection against most water hazards.
Your camera is carried in a removable, inner compartment that also closes. It's whole job appears to be to provide physical protection for your camera and lenses. The inner pouch is large enough to house a camera body and one or two additional lenses...depending on the lenses. My basic field load is a Nikon D5100, 18-55mm lens and 70-300mm lens. This fits easily into the pack.
There is frankly not a lot of extra room in the pack once the inner camera bag is inserted, so this is not an answer to long-distance backpacking, but it's great for day outings where water may be an issue.
I have no complaints so far...so 5 stars.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program A decent water resistant bag. Comfortable to wear as a backpack.
The inside features soft foam compartments with spacers to adjust to your needs; camera size, lenses, flashes, etc. Easily customization with the Velcro that is on the spacers.
The outside is a fairly thick rubber that you fold down on itself several times and then clasp to make a highly water resistant seal. Though it will definitely protect from damp to slightly wet conditions, if it was submerged for more than a few moments would allow some water to come in. It would keep it dry enough for most of your belongings to be protected it would not be a sure bet. Getting rained on, or splashed heavily would protect your belongings. and even if it fell into a body of water, if quickly retrieved would serve to protect you well.
Overall, well made, sturdy and comfortable. The price is the only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars.
