Buy COSMOS ® Black Leather Case Cover Bag For Nikon P7000 Camera

Customer Ratings:

This case for the Nikon P7000 is OK but has 2 flaws. First, the snaps aren't very secure, allowing the cover to fall off. And second, if the cover does stay snapped, it folds in front of the lens, making it necessary to remove the cover. A proper case would allow the cover to securely dangle below the camera, stay connected, and not obscure the lens.

the case and design looks nice but the bottom snap after second use came apart , although side snap are alright, I wish they beef up the bottom snap which is frequently being open and close.

Best Deals for COSMOS ® Black Leather Case Cover Bag For Nikon P7000 Camera

Unlike the previous reviewers, I find this case is similar to the old style range finder and compact camera cases. The bottom half is form fitted and is attached to the tripod connection. The top half wraps around the camera from the back and swivels by two side snap buttons and locks with a snap button at the bottom. The case fits perfectly and is well padded.

All snap buttons are pretty firm and they stay in place unless you need to pull them open. The front is somewhat firm so it can be hard to snap close, but stays pretty secure when closed. When you flip open the top, the top flips back behind the finder and stays attached via the two side snaps. Very convenient so you can leave the top on and still see both the LCD and view finder to take pictures. If you need to, or find the top gets in the way, you can easily take it off by removing the two side buttons, and leaving the bottom half on to protect it.

All buttons and controls are accessible and you can attach a tripod to the bottom of the case without taking it off. I highly recommend this case if you have this camera.

Review of Velbon DMSP-CF2 Plastic Case for Digital Memory

Customer Ratings:

This is for CF cards, so disregard what was posted by the previous reviewer.

It's a great storage case for CF cards. I have 2 of them, and am looking to buy another. Yeah, they're that good.

Cards fit snugly in the padded case, and construction seems pretty good (hinge is plastic, so it will eventually wear out thus my 4-star rating).

I like the keychain attachment it keeps my cards at the top of my photography bag. I would order the four card case (better bang for the buck), but that doesn't have the keychain feature that this one does.

You can't go wrong for the price it's a good investment.

I have two of these that are always in use. They hold two CF cards apiece, safely and snugly, in little rubbery recesses. Removing a CF card on the run is easy since there is a small indentation (to the narrower side of the card, not on the card contacts side) where the tip of the finger fits nicely to lift it from the case.

The Hakuba case -that is what is written on it -feels quite solid and well built. I think my memory cards are well protected. It doesn't take up much space in my camera bag and I like the chain + clip, which allows me to attach it to any strap so it's easily accessible. Nothing worse than rummaging in that black hole of a camera bag for media!

My one complaint is that this case should be available in more colors. I store CF UDMA memory cards in one of them and regular CF cards on the other and sometimes keep them in the camera bag while shooting. I'd like to be able to tell the cases apart before opening them. Otherwise, a solid 5 out of 5 for this product.

This case works much better than the soft cases provided by Sandisk with their Extreme CF cards. Would buy again when AMAZON (not the other merchants) has them available!

NOTE: this model is only for the CF cards (unlike the other reviewer who complained); Velbon makes another one for SD cards, which works great also.

Review of Case Logic Digital Case 2 with 6 Media Carrying Pockets

Customer Ratings:

As my collection of Compact Flash cards accumulated, I realized I needed a way to store them where they would be safe and I would be able to access them quickly. I found this inexpensive case to be perfect for my needs. It can carry six memory cards in individual pouches, zipped into a Koskin (faux leather) case.

I can drop this case into my camera bag and feel confident that all my cards are safe and accessible. It also has a loop to allow it to hang it from a belt. I like being able to carry my cards on my belt, so even if I am away from by bag, I have ready access to my spare memory cards.

I don't remember where I learned about this trick, but I follow a practice of placing cards that are ready to use face up in this case. When I fill up a card, I remove it from the camera and place it back into the case face down. That way I instantly can tell which cards have free space and which contain images I need to upload to my computer.

Cases made of metal or hard plastic may offer slightly better protection from impacts and moisture. Still, I've been using this case for a couple of years without a problem. Considering the low cost and the ability to keep my CF cards organized, I think it represents an excellent value.

As a professional photographer I not only need a card reader that holds numerous cards, but one that silently will open and close so that during weddings I am not obtrusive when changing cards.

This card wallet does exactly what I need it to holds cards securely and allows me to access them quickly and silently.

While there are other wallets out there, the majority of the ones designed for pros close with velcro which is the most obnoxious noise in the midst of a ceremony.

The case is very compact and easy to carry. It is made of soft vinyl and easily holds 6 media cards. The only down side to this small case is the cards must be out of their plastic cases in order for the vinyl case to fold easily.

After dropping my 2-day old camera in a live well, my son felt I needed a little more than a cheap cloth case. This case is heavy-duty and I don't think a truck running over it could crush it. Love the pull out foam so you can customize the case to your camera, batteries, extra cards, and other things you want to keep safe & watertight. Only thing that keeps it from getting a 5 with me is that it's a little heavy and won't fit in my purse. But other than that. It's a great case.

Great product, actually picked this up to store my survival gear and keep it protected. It fits the bill! Bright yellow to make it easy to find in case of emergencies. 4/5 Because of the price....although the price dropped 12 dollars on amazon a couple of weeks after I bought it, and now they wont even match their own prices (as of Sept. 2008). The foam is very easy to use and conform to any shape of your choosing.

The 1300 is a solid, well dimensioned Pelican case. Its width and height are compact yet it's very deep (a major plus). As with all Pelican cases it's virtually indestructible. The one draw back in this particular model (or my particular example) is the very loud pop of the latches when both opening and closing the case. I guess it is what it is. The latches are double jointed which do indeed seem extra secure. The Desert Tan color is much better in person than in photos; it's more of a khaki rather than a grotesque flesh color. The "pick-n-pluck foam "is divided into two stacking pieces which makes it versatile for storing both tall and short objects easily. Solid case and with typical tough Pelican quality.

I personally LOVE all Built NY products. This one comes with a hard shell on the bottom half to protect the camera. However, because it completely closes with the top coming over it, it's very difficult to get the camera in and out very quickly to capture those "perfect shots" wherever you may be!

So if you are looking for a camera case that will protect as you travel, this is the one. Very durable, good quality... i would have just like a better top fixture like the regular Built NY electric pockets.

Our family has several of these and not one holds a camera! I use one for my huge original Zune and another for an iTouch. Both of my kids use them to hold iPods. The hard back makes it easy to slip in an mp3 player and offers some protection against dropping. Cords and earbuds fit in the back pocket. The stretchy hood prevents the player from falling out accidently in a purse or backpack.

As a professor I travel around campus a lot and need to carry with me little items like my cell phone, lipstick, ID, a bit of cash and a keydrive. Women's professional clothing never has pockets which makes it hard. I've tried a zippered pouch or wrist bag but it looks too much like a makeup bag and the zipper makes a surprising amount of noise. A purse or briefcase is too big and a folio doesn't work with bulky items. This little case is perfect I can fit everything in and just have one item to carry. The black one looks professional and can be opened without any noise. But the best part is that with the hood open, the whole thing props up, making it easy to get at things inside. I leave it propped open on my desk and all I have to do is grab my key drive and go! It movies easily from briefcase to desk to classroom to meetings to home.

I needed an iPhone case that held my iPhone and my small Motorola bluetooth ear bud head set. The little pouch behind the "hoodie" flap on this guy holds the Motorola easily, and the iPhone very easily slides in and out of the main pouch. The stiff support built inside the case protects the iPhone's screen, and the wide edges offer a great "shock-cushion" in case I would ever drop it. Great product.

I really like the Built brand stuff. It's not super heavy duty bulletproof protection, but it's great for keeping dust and dirt off of your camera while providing some protection for the lcd screen. When I was looking for a case for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS1 Digital Camera, I wasn't sure if this would be a good fit or not. I hoped for the best and ordered it anyway, and was pleased to find that it fit just fine.

There is a little pouch on the front where she can store an extra sd card or perhaps spare batteries. She's had it since June and everything is good with it, hasn't fallen apart or developed any other issues. Happy with this purchase.

I bought this pack with the object of safely and conveniently carrying my Pentax K-5 complete with protruding lens. The K-5 is a fairly standard size DSLR and fits into the case with no difficulty so I imagine it will equally well suit other compact DSLRs such as the Nikon D7000.

All interior surfaces have padding to prevent damage from accidental knocks. There is a zip top above so that the camera can be retrieved easily. Above this flap there is a padded handle and there is also a shoulder length strap which can be used as an alternative way of carrying the case. A handy zipped pouch at the front has compartments for spare batteries or memory cards. Elasticated mesh side pockets can be used for other incidentals the manufacturers suggest phone or ipod, but personally I would not have thought those items would be very secure in these locations.

This version is in two shades of beige, but it is also available in black. As far as I can see the materials used appear to be waterproof, although the manufacturer makes no such claim in the literature. I have just received this case, but it appears to be a good quality item backed by the American manufacturer's 5 year guarantee against everything except damage caused by misuse or neglect. Certainly looks like it will do the job.

Nice and simple protection for my camera while it bounces around in my purse. The side pocket will fit cards and an extra battery, but it bulges and pushes against the camera. I will probably just carry extra memory cards in the side. Seems well built.

This case will be great for traveling. It could be a tad bigger to hold extra stuff, but for my purposes of streamlining, its going to be great. Sturdy yet lightweight.

Best Deals for MegaGear ''Ultra Light'' Protective Black Camera RainProof Case

I had to cringe after I bought this and was looking closely at the pictures. It says, " For Canon," very clearly on the top of the case. I thought I was buying a Canon product, but realized quickly it was not. Regardless, I kept the order because it looks nice, repels moisture, and got some decent reviews. Receiving it today, I'm happy I got it! It's very sturdy, the zippers work well, it has ample space for the Canon SX500IS to fit with the lens straight in or on its side, and it offers storage for zipped in additional memory or smaller accessories. It comes with a strap to hang it around your neck or shoulder as well, which is removable. It also had a removable divider via Velcro, which is useless if putting the SX500IS in. There is a loop to fit this to your belt on the back and two additional storage slots on the side with an elastic top and mesh material. I have also put some water onto the top and side and it rolled right off. Works great and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. Just know that there's some clever wordplay on the image here that might confuse you as to who made it. Quality product and very worth the money.

I was headed to Seattle and worried about getting my new Nikon D7000 might be getting wet if I didn't take some steps to protect it. I chose the satchel style because I saw a video of this style with the demonstrator removing a camera with a long lens attached and room for another lens. I also chose the navy color because I'm a girly girl who didn't care for the other more rustic colors, at least the navy could be slightly fashion forward.

The bag did not disappoint me. I can leave my 15-200mm lens attached so I'm ready for quick shots. I don't have to assemble the camera. There are two little zipper pouches on the outside flap of the bag which are great for extra SD cards, your keys or whatever, they're small but deep. The back of the bag has a large, flat compartment that I used for magazines for my plane ride. Once you lift the flap, you'll find two larger pouches that expand a bit and are great for cords, flash or batteries.

The strap is perfect. I can make it short if I want to carry as a shoulder bag or can quickly make it long to wear across my body. It was easy to carry on vacation and managed to distribute the camera weight nicely. The strap has a rubbery thing in the middle that not only pads the shoulder, it secures the bag to me by being non slip. This was their genius factor.

Inside the bag is a moveable pad. I was able to move it to one side to make room for my camera with attached lens and one more lens. It worried me that there is so little padding so I cut up a piece of foam to pad the bottom a little more since I've been known to quickly drop everything in my arms and was worried about hearing the horrible clunk of camera dropping, This bag stayed closed, stayed on my shoulder and did not look like a typical camera bag. It is expensive but well worth the money to protect my camera investment.
