This case will be great for traveling. It could be a tad bigger to hold extra stuff, but for my purposes of streamlining, its going to be great. Sturdy yet lightweight.

I had to cringe after I bought this and was looking closely at the pictures. It says, " For Canon," very clearly on the top of the case. I thought I was buying a Canon product, but realized quickly it was not. Regardless, I kept the order because it looks nice, repels moisture, and got some decent reviews. Receiving it today, I'm happy I got it! It's very sturdy, the zippers work well, it has ample space for the Canon SX500IS to fit with the lens straight in or on its side, and it offers storage for zipped in additional memory or smaller accessories. It comes with a strap to hang it around your neck or shoulder as well, which is removable. It also had a removable divider via Velcro, which is useless if putting the SX500IS in. There is a loop to fit this to your belt on the back and two additional storage slots on the side with an elastic top and mesh material. I have also put some water onto the top and side and it rolled right off. Works great and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. Just know that there's some clever wordplay on the image here that might confuse you as to who made it. Quality product and very worth the money.

Plenty of room for the wall charger, couple extra batteries and the camera fits perfectly and I like that it's water resistant.
