I am reasonably happy with this case, but I am annoyed that Nikon doesn't make more than one size/length case, given that different users may have different length lenses. I bought it to use on my Nikon D200 with the 18 200 Nikkor zoom lens. It works, but if you use that lens without the lens shade, the case is longer than it needs to be (annoying waste of space, making camera bulkier than it needs to be). If you use it with the lens shade, it's just a bit too short. I use the lens shade all the time and at first was very annoyed it was too short, but then realized that if I really forced it, I could just barely fasten the velcro with the lens shade on. And within a week I had stretched the leather enough that it closed pretty easily with the lens shade attached. So it is useable, tho it should be a bit bigger to properly cover the camera body (e.g., in rain).

My other complaint is the method of fastening the case to the camera strap. I didn't realize when I ordered it that it would not be like other SLR cases I have bought for film cameras. A film SLR case attaches firmly to the camera body and the nose just swings down to open. Nice. But on a digital, I guess you need access to too many workings on the camera body. So instead, it is a completely separate case (not attached to camera at all). When it's on, it fastens securely around the camera with velcro. But when you open it to take a picture, it is completely detached, except for an elastic strap that fastens around the camera strap. So the entire case dangles there (bulkily/awkwardly) while you take the picture. I got used to this inconvenience pretty quickly. But my big gripe is that the snap that fastens the elastic pops off pretty often (several times a day, in heavy use on my vacation) and when that happens the entire case falls to earth (in the dirt? over a cliff?). Not a good design.

I would also say it is pretty drastically overpriced, for what it is. There aren't any other camera-fitting options that I know of, so I would buy it again (it's better than nothing and better than a camera bag IMHO) but I fault Nikon for overcharging for a quite imperfect accessory for their professional camera. Nikon, listen up: Make different sizes for different lenses! And fix the strap problem!

I brought this for D200. Never used it for any length of time. It will fit the D200 with 18-200 VR lens attached. It is much more practical to have a larger camera bag such as Canon Deluxe Backpack 200 EG for the same price. One reviewer said it reminds him of 1960's and I cannot agree more. Gave 3 stars because it fits well even with a larger lens and well made.

Yes, it might be specifically made to cover your D200 with a 18-200mm lens, but it isn't much more than a $50+ dust cover. I'm gonna see what LowePro can do for me, or someone else. This is just cheap, custom fit vinyl for this exclusive Nikon size. Works rather awkwardly with the Nikon strap, just hangs there. You can do better than this! I would not waste my money.

I use it with the Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Silver)

First of all the zippers work perfect.

The case has been very well designed.

Not to big, not to small

The keyring loop is very strong, hook it on bags, belt loops, backpacks, your dog's collar, anywhere!

You won't have to be taking your belt off and on all the time...

The semi hard sides protect the lens and the screen very well.

It is made so the camera won't just fall out to the ground even when all the way unzipped.

Very well made and less than $10.00.

Zippers do not rub camera when taking it out and putting in.

Mesh interior pocket for extra battery, sd card.

I use with a carabiner, so case can be clipped to your belt loop, travel bag or backpack.

What a great buy! This bag works great for either a digital still camera or mini camcorder. I purchased the Lowepro 40AW after researching them on the Internet and checking out the Lowepro site. I originally bought the 40 AW to use with my Toshiba PDR M-5 Digital Still Camera. I could fit either the still camera and all the accessories -cables, filters, you name it, or my Canon ZR10 with *almost* all the gear. But I loved it so much I bought the Lowepro Digital beltpack AW for the ZR10. They are high quality camera bags and the Digital variety come with a special lining that will not scratch sensitive LCD screens! Lots of extra little pockets for tapes, smart cards, cables, and chargers too. The outside is soft yet rugged and well constructed. I think my high dollar digital camera investment feels safe and sound in this GREAT camera bag!

I purchased this bag for my digital camera and my 35mm point-and-shoot camera. Both fit with plenty of extra room for film, memory sticks/cards, and extra batteries. The inside is lined with a soft, felt-like material with does not scratch the LCD display on my digital camera. Also on the inside, there is an adjustable velcro divider. On the bottom of this bag, there's a hide-away waterproof hood that covers the entire bag. All together, it protects my cameras from day-to-day handling and the elements. Overall, an excellent product.

If you don't have many accessories this is a really nice camera bag.

If you have a standard point and shoot with a fully retractable zoom lense this is the bag for you. It will have ample storage for your camera, memory cards and batteries. This bag has one moveable divider so you can adjust the compartment size for you camera.

If you have a camera with any kind of lens adapter or if you have quite a few extras, I would highly recommend a bigger camera bag.

I read some other reviews of similar cases that said the camera barely fit in it, but that is not the case here. The camera, tiny tripod, extra memory cards and cables all fit in nicely. There is a nice wrist strap and one external pocket (the tripod fits into this pocket too). This case is a good deal for the price, and the little tripod is a great bonus! My only gripe is that it's pretty soft and I wonder how much protection it would really offer if I dropped my camera. It says in the listing that it is padded, but I think that's a bit misleading. I think it will definitely protect it from scratches, dirt and lens damage, but anything rougher? I hope I don't have to find out...

When I read the reviews of this product and other products, I was expecting this case to fit my Zi8 like a glove and not have room for anything else. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it! There is plenty of room for my camera, along with extra batteries and the mini tripod. Which, by the way, I love the mini tripod. It's perfect for this little camera! For the Kodak camera, this bag with tripod is a must! There are just the right amount of pockets for chords, etc + the stretchy material leaves room for also storing extras. The tripod is sturdy yet flexible and is absolutely necessary for the camera footage to be still. Highly recommended!

This case is not something I would take out in the field, but for storing my gear at home, it is great. I like that the compartments are deep and you can move the little velcro separator-things around to fit your stuff. I have several small prime lenses and none of them have their own cases, so I stack them with one of the small separator-things in between lenses. I also like that there are several little pockets on the inside and outside which is great for keeping filters, extra batteries, etc. I have a smaller bag that I use when I go out with my camera, but this one suits my intended usage just fine. And--bonus!--it's really cheap (as in price, not quality)!!!

I purchased this DSLR as, 1) I prefer the SLR format, something I am used to and, 2) I have had a lot of experience using an older Pentax SLR. Even though the older unit was film format (the basic K1000 model), it served me very well for over 20 years with no problems, easy use, and excellent photos. The older SLR camera was used all over the world from cold climes of eastern Europe's mountain tops to the sultry/humid jungles along the Amazon River. It took the trips and use well in such environments and performed wonderfully. So I was pre-disposed to Pentax at the outset. I did several comparisons to the other brands and even though I have a large Nikon SLR now, I went with this Pentax DSLR for a variety of reasons. Among these were the crystal clear screen and the extensive menu of available functions to utilize with it. To date I have obtained wonderfully crisp and clear photos in situations ranging from early dawn to sunsets, landscapes to kids, and the places I have taken it are not what one would call "forgiving" for sensitive photo-systems. In short, this baby performs. I chose the 28mm to 80mm zoom along with a 150mm additional lens. Good choices for me as all have performed very well and when interfaced with my laptop, touch-ups and edits are a breeze! Believe me, I have recieved many "oooh's" and "ahhh's" with my photos from this. But the camera does not do all the work. One needs to have a grasp on the basic elements of photography in order to achieve the desired product. The point of this review is to define that the camera has all the features that, when properly used, give whatever one may wish to obtain. One main warning: learn to use the manual until you are familiar with the levels of controls available in the on-board menu. They are extensive, ranging from simple point and click photos to making videos (battery draining, for sure). In addition, a hand-held remote shutter control is cheap and great to have at times. So I recommend the camera system, available here on Amazon at a very competitive price. In fact, best prices and availability. The camera? Really good, very functional, tough and durable as I have taken it into some rough, hot/humid and extremely cold envrionments, and it kept on working just great. Is it as beautiful to look at as the Nikons or even Canons? No. But it will do about whatever those models can and at a much more affordable price. I give it a "4 star" rating as it simply is not the most deluxe model one could obtain. But it is a worker and its photos are tremendous in the right hands. Great Photos for All! Daryl

The ONA bag is well finished and great for a small camera such as a micro four-thirds and a few lenses. The only thing I would have liked was a strap handle on the top of the bag. It's easy to pick it up by the shoulder strap, but I get nervous about picking up camera bags by the shoulder strap. I've been known not to fasten the top of the bag, if I forgot and picked the bag by the shoulder strap, everything spills out. A handle on the top of the bag gives you feedback real quick if you hadn't fastened the bag. Beyond that, it's very well built, hangs well, and looks great.

I read the reviews -which all seemed to say you could fit an SLR with lens attached and an additional lens in the main compartment -so I purchased this bag hoping I could fit more than one lens. This bag would work well for a crop sensor camera. I have a full frame (5D Mark II) and I can only fit the camera with 16-35mm wide angle attached. It's very tight with the strap attached to the camera, so I've been using my camera with no strap when I carry it in this bag. It's very cute and stylish though.

Bought one for my girlfriends Panasonic DMC-FS5 camera and is a perfect fit. No room for any spare battery or memory card.

I have this case in another colour for my Panasonic DMC-FS20. It was just a bit snug at first but after taking it out a few times it had a perfect fit.

If you have a very active lifestyle and pan to take this case with your everywhere the edges nay become a little fuzzed out after a while. But it isn't too bad or cosmetically ugly.

I guess that you get what you pay for. While the construction is good and the materials are nice, it is a very sloppy fit for my new Canon Elph and has no padding whatsoever. I wont use it for the camera but will find some other use for it since th postage to return it would cost as much as the product itself.

I believe that this is a camera case that also happens to fit the Apple Magic Mouse. The hard case is nice, but the mouse barely fits. In fact, the edge of the mouse rubs against the ripper, which makes me wonder how much protection the case actually provides.
