I am reasonably happy with this case, but I am annoyed that Nikon doesn't make more than one size/length case, given that different users may have different length lenses. I bought it to use on my Nikon D200 with the 18 200 Nikkor zoom lens. It works, but if you use that lens without the lens shade, the case is longer than it needs to be (annoying waste of space, making camera bulkier than it needs to be). If you use it with the lens shade, it's just a bit too short. I use the lens shade all the time and at first was very annoyed it was too short, but then realized that if I really forced it, I could just barely fasten the velcro with the lens shade on. And within a week I had stretched the leather enough that it closed pretty easily with the lens shade attached. So it is useable, tho it should be a bit bigger to properly cover the camera body (e.g., in rain).

My other complaint is the method of fastening the case to the camera strap. I didn't realize when I ordered it that it would not be like other SLR cases I have bought for film cameras. A film SLR case attaches firmly to the camera body and the nose just swings down to open. Nice. But on a digital, I guess you need access to too many workings on the camera body. So instead, it is a completely separate case (not attached to camera at all). When it's on, it fastens securely around the camera with velcro. But when you open it to take a picture, it is completely detached, except for an elastic strap that fastens around the camera strap. So the entire case dangles there (bulkily/awkwardly) while you take the picture. I got used to this inconvenience pretty quickly. But my big gripe is that the snap that fastens the elastic pops off pretty often (several times a day, in heavy use on my vacation) and when that happens the entire case falls to earth (in the dirt? over a cliff?). Not a good design.

I would also say it is pretty drastically overpriced, for what it is. There aren't any other camera-fitting options that I know of, so I would buy it again (it's better than nothing and better than a camera bag IMHO) but I fault Nikon for overcharging for a quite imperfect accessory for their professional camera. Nikon, listen up: Make different sizes for different lenses! And fix the strap problem!

I brought this for D200. Never used it for any length of time. It will fit the D200 with 18-200 VR lens attached. It is much more practical to have a larger camera bag such as Canon Deluxe Backpack 200 EG for the same price. One reviewer said it reminds him of 1960's and I cannot agree more. Gave 3 stars because it fits well even with a larger lens and well made.

Yes, it might be specifically made to cover your D200 with a 18-200mm lens, but it isn't much more than a $50+ dust cover. I'm gonna see what LowePro can do for me, or someone else. This is just cheap, custom fit vinyl for this exclusive Nikon size. Works rather awkwardly with the Nikon strap, just hangs there. You can do better than this! I would not waste my money.

I love these camera bags. In fact, I bought 2 different sizes (small and medium). They're fashionable, durable and useful and don't look like the old box style camera bags. There is plenty of padding to protect your camera and gear. The padding is also moveable so you can customize the bag to suit your needs. I can fit my camera (lens attached) and 2-3 additional lenses in this small bag along with additional camera accessories such as extra batteries, lens cleaner, lens caps and filters. There's also a variety of pockets for stuff like cell phone, business cards, car keys, wallet and sunglasses. It even comes with an additional removable small pouch. I couldn't be happier with a camera bag!

I love the look of this bag, it's construction and the padding it provides. But I didn't like using it during my vacation for travel photography. The shoulder straps don't stay on securely, they slide off. The long, messenger style strap is very wide and stiff, rather uncomfortable to use. Having the ample width of it under my arm during a long day of sightseeing was really uncomfortable. I wish I'd gotten a backpack style bag instead for travel.

This bag would be good if you are just using it about town to do photography from a car or at events where you can set it down. Not good for active vacations where you are far from your hotel room or car. I did feel that it provided excellent protection of my gear.

I bought this bag because I wanted a camera bag that looked more like a purse, and would allow me to carry my "purse junk" as well as my camera and a couple lenses.

It definitely fits all of the stuff I need. I was able to easily fit a Nikon D5000 with attached 18-50 lens, an extra 35mm lens, and a huge 70-200 lens into the bag. However, the boxy shape of the bag makes it difficult to carry. It sticks out from the body quite a bit, and I found it to be uncomfortable.

That being said, it's very sturdy, very well made, and kept my gear well protected! The yellow color will get dirty from wear, and is difficult to clean.

I like this bag because I can fit my Canon 40D with 100-400 lens, hood reversed, in the bag and I still have room for a few small things like cards, batteries etc. It's roomier than it looks. It's well made. I like the top zipper closure as you can do it with one hand. There are plenty of little pockets to store things. The only thing is that I find it to be heavy before I put anything in to it and once the camera is in it is quite heavy.

The bag, unfortunately, did not live up to my expectations. It looks nice on the outside because I really wanted a camera bag that would hide my DSLR. But the inside was of really poor quality, ugly stitching and misaligned pads among other things.

I've read other reviews about how big this bag was....even too big, but I didn't find it to be that big. I was hoping to be able to hold all my lenses & a quantum flash, but I have to be choosy about which lenses I take along. The only reason that I rated it 4 stars, rahter than 5 is two-fold. 1 is due to the fact that the bag is designed to carry lenses under both bodies & even under other lenses. This can be inconvenient. I would much rather have the bag be a little longer to where you can just reach in & grab the lens you want rather than have to pull a lens or camera body out & then remove a velcro divider to get to the lens you want. Of course you have your favorite lenses so those are the ones that you want to keep up top. I just pack the bag based on what I'm going to do....wedding, portrait session etc. And secondly, while I'm nit-pickin', the 2 pockets on the inside of the flap are almost useless if you have camera bodies with the extra battery pack attached (such as Nikon's MBD-10 etc.) because if you have a lens(es) underneath the camera body then the body comes all the way to the top of the bag so there's no room inside the bag to put a meter in that meter pocket or anything inside the "film" pocket without putting pressure on that gear and distorting the bag when you zip it. With that being said there are padded pockets on the side & 2 pockets on the front that are both very nice & convenient for extra batteries & memory cards (although don't be fooled by the pictures...the fancy little see-through pouch with the filters & memory cards does not come with it....it's extra). The quality & construction is top notch...no issue with that whatsoever. I got such a great deal on this bag that the 614 wasn't an option & airline travel is a consideration for me as well. If this review reads too negatively, it shouldn't. I just had a hard time deciding which bag to purchase so I thought I'd try to help you all out. It's a high-quality bag, it can get heavy when packed but can't they all.

I have bought several camera bags over the years most from Tamrac. Like everything Tamrac, this bag is VERY well constructed out of the highest quality materials. The layout is spacious, easily fitting two DSLRs with battery packs and large zoom lenses fact to face. I also get two large Speedlite flash units, four additional lenses, hoods, chargers, batteries, AC adapter, filters, and lots of other photo paraphernalia in the Super Pro 13 with room to spare. When I bought this case I also purchased several additional Tamrac accessory cases. My advice would be to buy a couple of Tamrac S.A.S. Compact Filter Cases and hold off on the other stuff until you find out what won't fit in the compartments that come standard with this case.

When loaded with my gear this bag tips the scales at 47 pounds. I'm NOT planning on using this bag for air travel. With bulging with full pockets, gear, and a laptop it is TOO BIG to be considered a carry-on unless you run into a kind gate agent. Don't bet on it though, since there is NO provision to lock anything, so security, if checked, will be a problem. I travel a lot by car and RV and plan to use this bag on the road, so it will get a good deal of wear and tear. It's great in the trunk of a car.

I depend on this bag every day to protect some very expensive gear. I could spend two or three times what this bag costs and not get equal quality. I have NEVER had a piece of equipment damaged in any way when stored in a Tamrac bag. I consider the cost good insurance.

NOTE: The bag does NOT have a "pocket" in the back that could be slipped over a wheeled carryall.

This is by far the coolest tripod iv ever seen...is not really tall but you can angle it to get the shot you need. I love how you can attach it to what ever you want! Wrap it around a tree branch, cabinet handle, stand it up on a table, throw it in your purse and go. the pink case is also handy, has a place for extra memory cards and has a clip so you can keep track of it! No more digging to the bottom of my purse for it. All around great choice. Price is great, shipping was quick!

I've been looking for a cover for my Nikon Coolpix P7700 for those times when I just want to put it in my purse, or tote bag, and need to protect it. Although designed for manual SLR bodies, this fits perfectly on my new Fujifilm X100s (modern range-finder style digital). Couldn't have asked for a better fit it was like it was designed perfectly for it.

I use it for my IPAD and more as a messenger bag than a camera bag. The bag converts to a backpack which makes the bag more functional but the hook on my strap broke within one day. The quality is equal to the price of the bag. The leather is very cheap and I don't like the snaps located at the top of the flap instead at the bottom. This is my second Koolerton bag that has had defects and as such I probably will not purchase another Koolerton bag.

This new silicone skin is a perfect fit for the W10. Those of you who tried the other skin for the Optio waterproof cameras and were frustrated because it didn't fit the W10 properly, pick this one up. The controls line up perfectly with the impressions in the skin. In fact, when not looking at the camera, I found it easier to find and manipulate the buttons with the skin on rather than the skin off. I agree with everything the previous reviewer said. It fits like a glove and all buttons are perfectly lined up. Also, as the reviewer said, the buttons are easier to push! As a male, w/average size hands, I had a hard time w/the on/off. Really had to put a fingernail on it just right. The skin is definately easier!

This protects the camera from dings and dirt. It also makes it easier to grip. I always remove it after the dive/hike to make sure it has not trapped any water against the camera. It is inexpensive and IMHO worth using. I would buy it again if I lost my camera.

The first thing I saw it's that it fits perfectly on the cam, but later I realize that the material is so elastic that I though that it could be a little smaller (let's say 96% of the original size).

I got this when I realized that my laptop backpack does not offer enough protection for accidents on a motorcycle.

Purchased this for a long driving trip across the country. I wanted to be able to take my laptop & iPad along and not worry about either getting crushed.

It's bulky, but worth it. It's a case I feel like I could drop and still not fear for my laptop. I use it for a MacBook Pro and it fits well. I place my iPad on top with a thin piece of foam in between the two.

I also love that it has a built in lock.

Solid design and the latches secure well enough that I don't worry about them popping open on their own.

If you're looking for a bombproof case for the Canon Powershot SX230 HS this is it!

When I first got it I thought the case was slightly too small, the camera barely fit. Give it a few days to settle in and for the fabric around the zipper to work itself out, and it fits beautifully.

You'll give up a couple of things with this case... you'll need to store your camera accessories elsewhere (I'm not sure I would try to fit a memory card inside, much less a spare battery), and there's no belt loop or shoulder strap (there is a carabiner for clipping it to whatever you like). But if your primary concern is to protect the camera this is THE case for it!

this is a great small hardcase, I wanted as small as possible, I was pleased with the snug fit, and also protection of the camera. The hook is an added bonus for belt loop attachment. If you have alot of assessories you may want larger. But if small is your goal this is perfect pocket size.

Pros:

Reasonably priced, good value.

Functional Case and of decent quality.

Shipping time and cost were reasonable.

Cons:

Although the case is sold as an accessory for the Canon SX230HS, it seems to be a generic case and my camera feels a little cramped inside this case, can't use the interior mesh pocket for anything (other than a piece of paper maybe).

Other thoughts:

The case opens vertically; it's subjective, but I'm not a big fan of that.

The workmanship is decent but not the best.

Would I but it again? probably not, I'd like for a case where I can actually carry an extra battery or an extra SD Card.
