While I would not consider this an underwater case, it should function perfectly as moderate dampness/water protection for the S4, if in a backpack or bag that is in a rainstorm. The S4 slides at an angle and is then held securely. You can use the screen without problems.

I've used this a few times. I have a HTC EVO 4G LTE and it fits in the case well. However when I have my phone case on the phone (a Trident AG) it is a little difficult to get the phone into the E-case. I did a lot of research leading up getting the E-case and wound up thinking this is a good value. I do appreciate the clip holes in the case and plan to hook up a "lifeline" for next years watersports season. Because if you drop the phone I doubt it will float, there isn't enough air in the case to float (although it's not advertised to do that, and the extra air wouldn't let the touchscreen operate). I'm able to make calls through the case and use the gps functions.

My phone hasn't taken a dip while in the case, so I haven't had to test it thoroughly yet.

This case is perfect for my Cybershot DSC T5 or any similar sized camera. My camera fits snug and it's the least bulky case I've come across. It even got a place for me to for an additional memory card or battery. This poses an excellent feature to me.

Both the back and the front of this small case are designed with a hard stiff front and back designed to protect the LCD monitor. It provides plenty of protection to my camear. It even comes with screen protector. What else can I ask for?

I purchased this case knowing it was a hard case, but I honestly just liked the color! I had recently purchased the "pink" Sony Cyber-shot camera. The case is a beautiful pink color and is very hard and durable. The case, if dirty, can wipe clean. The inside has a restraint strap so your camera isn't bouncing around in the case, and a little net pocket for supplies.

Beware. I bought this case because it advertised that it held the camera and had a pocket for extra battery or memory card. Well, if you open the camera case the extra battery falls out. There is no way that the pocket could be intended for a battery or a memory card. It is very large and it doesn't hold it in at all. It seems sturdy enough and my camera fits fine. You'd have to be crazy to think this was a safe way to keep your memory card or very expensive battery safe. Premium case, I think not!

Doesn't afford a lot of extra room for anything else in the case though, even though there is a small pocket on the inside. Can fit memory cards and such but I tried putting the sync cable in there and it wouldn't zip up.

I've read other reviews about how big this bag was....even too big, but I didn't find it to be that big. I was hoping to be able to hold all my lenses & a quantum flash, but I have to be choosy about which lenses I take along. The only reason that I rated it 4 stars, rahter than 5 is two-fold. 1 is due to the fact that the bag is designed to carry lenses under both bodies & even under other lenses. This can be inconvenient. I would much rather have the bag be a little longer to where you can just reach in & grab the lens you want rather than have to pull a lens or camera body out & then remove a velcro divider to get to the lens you want. Of course you have your favorite lenses so those are the ones that you want to keep up top. I just pack the bag based on what I'm going to do....wedding, portrait session etc. And secondly, while I'm nit-pickin', the 2 pockets on the inside of the flap are almost useless if you have camera bodies with the extra battery pack attached (such as Nikon's MBD-10 etc.) because if you have a lens(es) underneath the camera body then the body comes all the way to the top of the bag so there's no room inside the bag to put a meter in that meter pocket or anything inside the "film" pocket without putting pressure on that gear and distorting the bag when you zip it. With that being said there are padded pockets on the side & 2 pockets on the front that are both very nice & convenient for extra batteries & memory cards (although don't be fooled by the pictures...the fancy little see-through pouch with the filters & memory cards does not come with it....it's extra). The quality & construction is top notch...no issue with that whatsoever. I got such a great deal on this bag that the 614 wasn't an option & airline travel is a consideration for me as well. If this review reads too negatively, it shouldn't. I just had a hard time deciding which bag to purchase so I thought I'd try to help you all out. It's a high-quality bag, it can get heavy when packed but can't they all.

I have bought several camera bags over the years most from Tamrac. Like everything Tamrac, this bag is VERY well constructed out of the highest quality materials. The layout is spacious, easily fitting two DSLRs with battery packs and large zoom lenses fact to face. I also get two large Speedlite flash units, four additional lenses, hoods, chargers, batteries, AC adapter, filters, and lots of other photo paraphernalia in the Super Pro 13 with room to spare. When I bought this case I also purchased several additional Tamrac accessory cases. My advice would be to buy a couple of Tamrac S.A.S. Compact Filter Cases and hold off on the other stuff until you find out what won't fit in the compartments that come standard with this case.

When loaded with my gear this bag tips the scales at 47 pounds. I'm NOT planning on using this bag for air travel. With bulging with full pockets, gear, and a laptop it is TOO BIG to be considered a carry-on unless you run into a kind gate agent. Don't bet on it though, since there is NO provision to lock anything, so security, if checked, will be a problem. I travel a lot by car and RV and plan to use this bag on the road, so it will get a good deal of wear and tear. It's great in the trunk of a car.

I depend on this bag every day to protect some very expensive gear. I could spend two or three times what this bag costs and not get equal quality. I have NEVER had a piece of equipment damaged in any way when stored in a Tamrac bag. I consider the cost good insurance.

NOTE: The bag does NOT have a "pocket" in the back that could be slipped over a wheeled carryall.

I bought this pack to help with installing window tint. I really like that they come individually sealed in plastic packaging. This leads me to believe that they are definitely lint free so I can feel confident that when I use them to clean windows prior to installing tint that everything will go smoothly.

Original Parts from FUJIFILM for the FUJI x-e1 camera. One would think there would be a tripod mount on the bottom of the half case. If you are looking for a tripod mount, stay away from this case made by FUJI for the FUJI X-E1.

The Gariz brand half leather has the mount. Looks like I may have to return this for the aftermarket brand.

I bought this when I purchased the camera to prevent wear on the bottom and sides of the camera body, plus it makes the camera very easy to grip in a secure manner. Despite what one reviewer says, it is made of leather. I have one minor suggestion for Fuji. Please add a good leather strap that permits a secure grip and has the same leather as the case. so that I can also purchase that, when I don't want to use the neck strap.

The only real issure of is the lack of access to the tripod hole. You have to remove the case, which takes all of 1 minute or less. Just one button unsnap on the left side and one on the right side and voila, you have quick access to the tripod hole.. I've seen other cases that weren't avaiable when I purchased this case and would have liked a black version, but I made that decision and won't hold Fuji responsible. It still looks good on the black version of the X-E1.

Nice looking, decent protection for the camera. The strap is a little cheap, but seems to be wearing in fine. Feels too hard out of the box, but after a few weeks seems to be relaxing with use. The access to the battery/SD card is really nice, but I wish it had a way to use a tripod with it.

Bought before a trip to Africa and wanted a hard sided case for better protection. This was AWESOME! I clipped to my pants each day and it was out of the way, but quick and easy to access the camera (Canon PowerShot by the way). Also easily stored extra SD cards and batteries and I could open case enough to slide camera in and out without losing the cards/batteries. I have a blue one of these, and it is great! The material is really sturdy, so I am confident that my camera (or iPod) won't get broken. I've broke a camera once by dropping it, so the protection really helps. I also stand-out as the only person I know that doesn't use one of the boring, black soft cases that come with cameras. A couple people have commented on my colorful case. Function and style -I really recommend these. The hook also really helps. I can just attach it to my backpack and go. Try one out -it is cheap and really worth it.

This case was exactly like the picture. It is sturdy and protective. The zipper is great and works flawlessly. I especially like the orange rubber ends on the zipper that you can see in the picture. The case is very good at preventing damage in tough environments. I have had it with my camera for over a year and a half and haven't had so much as a scratch on my camera.

I use it primarly for field work, so the fact it is a little bulky isn't a problem. I don't use it when I am going out and am dressed up. I would suggest this for when you need something that can allow your camera to be thrown into a laptop bag, dropped down some stairs, or other difficult environment. It is not really for putting in your pocket on a Friday night.

The strap(s) are basically useless too, the standard straps on most of the cameras themselves are far more useful.

It's light weight, soft, give the camera adequate protection. There are no pockets or slots to store accessories separately, but I have other bags that does that and I prefer this one because it is smaller and is much easier to carry around. It has two tabs for the zipper, and the interior has a felt type lining, so it feels very soft. The straps point side way so if you carry this on your shoulder, the "lid" will be to the outside vs. top. It will wear better around the waist but then the strap is not detachable, so I don't like to wear it that way. This is the reason for not giving it 5 stars.

I bought this case to go with my new Panasonic Lumix SZ1 16.1 MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical Zoom (Blue), and it fits just perfectly. The Amazon listing for my camera gives the dimensions as 3.9" x 0.9" x 2.4", while this listing gives the dimensions as 3.4" x 1.3" x 5", and really, there is more than plenty of room for the camera and a couple of accessories inside of this pouch, even though the whole thing is not much bigger than a deck of cards. The other shell is sturdy, but not hard -enough to make me think that if I accidentally dropped it while standing up and holding it in my hands, that the camera would probably survive the impact. It's not so rigid that I'm willing to drop my new camera on purpose to test that theory out, though. Also, because it's made of a sort of dense fabric material, I would expect it to be water resistant, but not waterproof. That is, the case seems like it would protect my camera in a light to medium rain or if it fell into a shallow puddle for just a moment, but it does not seem like it would hold up to full immersion in water or very heavy rains for more than a very short time. Of course, any extra protection is better than just dropping the un-cased camera on the ground or in a puddle, and I love that it has a little pouch inside to let you carry a backup SD card and/or USB cable along for the ride. I also like that it comes with a lanyard so that you can wear your camera around your neck or wrist when you carry it along. Overall, a great little case!

What you also can't tell from the picture is that the case has metal hinges, so there is no way for it to stretch around a camera that's even a little bit too big. The plus side is that if you have a small enough camera, the metal lining (kind of like an open-sided box) makes it sort of a cross between a hard and a soft case so that it probably offers extra protection over a purely soft one. However, if the hinges break, it feels like the case wouldn't be much use.

Personally not to my taste even if size weren't an issue, but when it comes to a semi-hard case, it turns out that size matters.

If you have a slim camera, this will be a nice case for it. However, I was also able to fit my fat and old Canon PowerShot SD800IS into this too.

It has two zippers and a mesh pocket inside. Unfortunately, there is no belt strap for this case.

If you're looking for something that looks nice, simple, not bulky, and feels durable, then this is worth checking out. It fits a Canon S100 perfectly.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have been looking for a case like this for quite some time now one that fits my point-and-shoot camera snuggly, protecting it from hard bumps and bruises, yet not making the whole affair so bulky that I rather take my chances most of the time and take the camera with me without the case.

The camera I am speaking of is the Sony HX7V, which is admittedly a somewhat small camera for a 10x zoomer.

At first glance, I thought never, ever will this camera fit in the case. But it does. Fits like a second skin, actually.

I do not need all those extra pockets for batteries (for anything that might require more shots than one battery can handle, it would probably be prudent to carry a DSLR anyway ...), additional SD-cards (one 16 GB card in the camera should suffice for most shooting days ...), energy bars, or GPS units. What I need is a plain and simple protective case for my camera.

Yes, the ECC-101 also has a built-in mesh pocket inside the case, which could be useful to store some emergency money, or a few business cards. But I really don't need that.

The ECC-101 appears to be well made and I can attest to the protective prowess of its shell, which handles normal, not too rough handling very well.

It has two zippers which is a bit of overkill to me one should have done with this very small case. It comes with a strap, which I immediately discarded. I am using the camera strap to carry the whole ensemble, instead. And here, the two zippers make some sense they allow me to put the camera strap through to the outside.

All in all, I am very glad to have this case. But before you go and buy it, please check if your camera fits within the envelope given by the HX7V (101.6mm x 57.6mm x 28.6mm); because of the very snug fit with the ECC-101, even a slight deviation from this envelope would probably result in a non-fit situation.
