Purchased the Large StandPouch for my Lumix DMC-ZS7 and it fits perfectly. The outside is a hard shell and there is soft material on the inside. There is a net on the inside which divides it into two compartments so an extra battery and memory cards can be kept separate from the camera.

The small flip up tripod is very stiff at first and after reading reviews of it breaking I was careful and havn't had any problems. I would recommend this case.

Good camera bag for my DSC-wx50, it is not so big or small, it has more than enough room and not having the bulky look, so I liked it very much and also I should not forget to tell you about the small tripod attachment in the top, it is beautiful feature and my friends saw and tell "Wow". it is worth buying it.

The idea of including a stand in a camera case is great and it works very well.

Unfortunately the quality is shoddy. I have by now used 4 or 5 of them, and they all broke sooner or later (stress is on sooner).

Haven't really used the stand portion of the case but it is easy to put the camera on. Very convenient and sturdy case. I really like it.

This bag is rather nice and great quality. I actually store my camera, a few batteries, some cables and my iPad in there for when I am on the go.

The clasp makes it an easy access for the camera or anything else that I might need to get out of there.

I haven't had any issues with it and use it to carry quite a few things like I posted above.

This is a perfect carrying case for my Canon PowerShot SD600 Digital Elph (3 3/8" x 2 1/4" x 7/8"). The padded neoprene fabric protects the camera from drops and bumps, and the loop at the top hangs nicely from a finger, a belt or belt loop, or purse strap. It machine-washed nicely. The fit over my camera is snug but do-able, and I like knowing there's no chance the camera will slip out by accident. Gave it 4 stars only because I'd have preferred more color options. Otherwise, I'm very satisfied.

AmazonBasics Sling Backpack for SLR Cameras (Black) Reviews

AmazonBasics Sling Backpack for SLR Cameras

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program

The AmazonBasics sling backpack for DSLR cameras is a no frills solution for taking a reasonable amount of photo gear with you when you don't want or need to lug your larger case with you. It's a great solution when you are hiking, skiing or just want a more compact way to take your essential camera gear with you.

The backpack is entirely black, no color accents or embellishment whatsoever. The backpack has a functional shoulder sling that allows you to pivot the pack to the front of your body for easy access to your camera gear when you need it. It's a fairly comfortable, sling backpack with adequate shoulder strap padding and an additional lower waist strap. There is a smaller zippered upper compartment with enough room for a good sized flash and room to spare for batteries, lens cleaning tools or maybe a PB&J for an extended hike. The main zippered compartment can be configured to your needs using a series of velcro pads of various sizes. There is also a velcro strap that can be used in whatever way you can figure out how to use it. Depending on the lenses you wish to carry and whether you want to carry the camera body with no lens attached, you can move the pads around to accommodate your needs.

I was easily able to fit my Nikon D300 with attached 80-200 f2.8 lens and flash in the main compartment, with a second 17-55 f2.8 lens in the smaller top compartment along with some other odds and ends.

The bottom of the pack has two rubber "feet" which protect the bottom nylon panel from wear and tear. However, the case is really designed as a backpack and will not reliably stand on its own when fully loaded. It's not intended to be a supportive pack that can sit upright on a floor.

Overall the pack seems reasonably well made and does provide a great way to carry a camera body, couple lenses, flash and assorted odds and ends with ease. I love it for when I'm hiking and don't want to carry a conventional camera bag with me. It's easy to swing the pack around to gain access to your camera when you need it. I do like I can carry a compact tripod or monopod on the outside of the backpack and the "hidden" pouch that tucks away to hold the tripod/monopod leg is a nice feature. The zippers seem beefy enough to withstand some good use and the quick release buckles on the straps function well.

I like the backpack and the price is just about right for what you are getting in my opinion.

UPDATE: 1/10/2013 If you're thinking this might be a bit too large for you, take a look at the recently released AmazonBasics Sling Backpack for SLR Cameras (Black)which I've reviewed here http://www.amazon.com/review/R3NGA4F96W7XXV

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Update: 12/2/2012 I'm still pleased with this bag. I had to go on a hike today and pack the following:

Canon 5D Mk III, 580EXII, 8-15mm lens, diffuser, speedlingt off-camera coiled cable, batteries, etc. It fit perfectly. Look at the photos.

Original review: I have a lot of camera bags. I have tried several different sling bags. The Manfrotto was terrible. The Case Logic was great. Now it's time to try out Amazon's version of the sling bag. I'll compare it with the Case Logic TBC-310 SLR Sling for Camera (Black) the bags are the same price, and basically the same size. If you're looking for a perfect sized sling bag, these are the two you'll probably be comparing.

Size: The Amazon Sling bag is about 15% larger and more rectangular in shape.

Shoulder strap: The Case Logic slides from the right, the Amazon from the left. This means the straps are over different shoulders. The Amazon has an extra clip that prevents the bag from shifting, but has to be unclipped before you can slide the sling.

Top pocket: Case Logic is deeper, but smaller. 3x6x5 deep basically the shape of a medium lens. Amazon is shallower, but larger: 6x7 inches. Depth it's angled. 2" at one end, 4 at the other. The Case Logic top pocket is ideal for a lens, the Amazon for a flash or accessories.

Main compartment: This is the major difference. The Case Logic can hold a DSLR with medium lens, say a 17-85 telephoto. It can't be adjusted. The Amazon compartment is totally configurable. Depending on how you configure it, you could have a DSLR with 200mm, flash and smaller lens. Or DSLR with 17-85, medium lens, large flash and accessories. The inner compartment is 9x11x7" deep. You get five different dividers, of various sizes. It comes with the dividers just put in at what seems to be a purposely useless configuration. There are also NO instructions, so you need to play around with varying configurations. On the Case Logic, the top flap opens up to reveal the main compartment. On the Amazon bag, the flap as larger but it will also open past the top and down the back. This way if you have created shelves with the dividers, you can access them without pulling things apart. There are snaps to prevent the flap from being opened too far, letting your expensive stuff from falling out. That is a feature I have not seen on any other sling bag.

Tripod holder: Case Logic: Two velcro side straps, you need to figure out a way to stop the tripod from sliding. Amazon: One cinch strap and a pocket for the bottom (this tucks away and is impossible to see at first.)

Other pockets: The Case Logic wins here. The back back has several small pockets. These could hold accessories, cards, batteries and more. The Amazon just has an elastic mesh pocket. Not much use for anything.

Base: Neither bag will stand up on it's own. The Amazon has two rubber "bumpers".

Overall quality. It's difficult to say one is better than the other. The Amazon carrying handle is nicer, but the Case Logic material is *slightly* better The Amazon bags liner is not completely sewn in it looks like about 2" was missed in production this is at the corners of the large flap. That's pretty sloppy, and a place that will tear easily. The Amazon bag has a much better way of handling the tripod. The padding on the Case Logic shoulder strap is a little thicker, and it has an extra accessory loop. The differences really are minor.

Which bag is better for you? If you're using a DSLR with a smaller lens, the Case Logic is perfect. Need to use a larger lens, or carry more stuff? The Amazon bag is the better choice.

Best Deals for AmazonBasics Sling Backpack for SLR Cameras (Black)

Pros

Build quality on this bag seems good.

Zippers work smoothly.

Sling is comfortable and has adequate adjustability.

The bright interior color makes it easy to find small items.

Nice pocket areas.

Tripod strap with pouch at bottom in a zippered area

for one of the tripod legs.

Easy access to camera without removing sling. Pack will pivot to front.

Fair Price

Cons

The way it comes (see photo) there is no way of fitting my DSLR.

The dividers could offer some better options. Need a few others with more than one 90deg.

It will be a tight fit to get all of my needed equipment in this size. Wish it was a little larger

It will not stand vertical on its own without leaning it against something.

Update Feb 27, 2012

I've had a chance to use this sling backpack for some all day events. I like it. It works once I figured out how to place the sling. It fits around the left arm and over the head to the right shoulder. This allows the bag to be pivoted to your left front to allow access to the camera through the backpack's side compartment. This work well.

I also found that the the tripod strap on the side of the backpack also has a zip area at the bottom of the pack. It contains a pouch for the tripod leg to fit into. This stabilizes the tripod and holds it firmly to the side.

I'm leaving the 4 star. The main reason, the bag just fits the Canon 60D with the Canon 18-200mm F/3.5 lens. I would have liked just a tad bit more room. Also, the bag will not stand vertical on its own without leaning against something. The lower pads on the bottom are not flat enough to hold it.

Overall, I find it works for me, and it is very comfortable to wear even all day activities. I would recommend it.

Honest reviews on AmazonBasics Sling Backpack for SLR Cameras (Black)

This is one great bag for the aspiring photographer. Has plenty of room for my Nikon D5000 with 55-200mm lens and battery grip, 14-24mm Nikon lens, 18-55mm Nikon lens, 3 batteries, a point and shoot camera, ipod, cords, plugs, releases, a flip camcorder and extras. The only things I would like to see added are 1. a bladder pocket for water. Also on the opposite side of the main opening another pocket for some extra gear or snacks moving the tripod holder to the back of the bag. Over all the quality of the bag is way above price range stitching is excellent and there are no extra threads or threads that are sticking out. Buckles are nice big heavy duty. The bag offers plenty of padding for travel. It also has a hidden pocket on the side for holding a tripod leg. This is a great bag for you to keep all your photo gear in one spot. If you need a slightly bigger bag to pack your camera gear and are on a budget this is the bag for you.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have a DSLR and was pleased to find this as an alternative to the large camera backpack "everything holder" I usually bring to family gatherings and on campouts. It is fairly roomy with plenty of room for a Canon T2i with attached 24-70 f2.8 zoom lens which is my walking around lens. There is space also for a smaller point-and-shoot camera along with a case for additional SD cards, a flash, etc.

The styling of the bag is utilitarian with the top rather flat and not tapered like other slings I have seen advertised. It seems solidly made and includes straps for securing it around oneself a bit confusing at first since there are no instructions but fairly easy to figure out.

Overall, I am pleased with this unit and would recommend it at the price point.

This case fit the camera perfectly. I really like that it has a hard shell exterior and memory foam inside. The only thing I wish I could do was store my camera battery charger or extra memory in the case. While it has a mesh pocket for memory, there wasn't enough room because the lens took up what little space there was for an extra memory card. Over all it's a great case and I really feel like my camera is protected from outside elements.

Well to start off, if you want reviews about the bag, look for the bag only. There is a little bit of wiggle room on either side of your camera, but it's not terrible.

the kit, is ok. You know you get what you pay for. If you buy the backpack alone, it's the same price as with the kit. So might as well get the extra. But you get what you pay for. The kit, is not that great, but will do fine for someone starting out. The tripod I havent had problems with yet. It will NOT handel ANY abuse. But it's a good tripod if you dont have one, or you want one you can let your kids use. Or you can sell it on Ebay if you have a better one. As a sidenote, the tripod has levles on two spots that I've seen, and it comes with a case.

All in all, I say go for it. It's the same price as getting just the bag, and it doesnt diminish the bags value by any means. you just get some free stuff.

Been using this backpack for a few years now and it has never let me down. It fits a lot of gear.

Best Deals for Lowepro Fastpack 250 Backpack Digital SLR Camera Case

I have a dslr. This is a great pack! You can put your laptop in it(15" comfortably/17"a squeeze but works). There is plenty of room for other gear. I usually carry my camera, an extra lens, laptop, large external flash, polarizer, cables, extra memory cards, extra batteries, keys, water bottle, a cleaning kit......you name it. If you are carrying many lenses, you may want to consider a larger pack, but this thing does more than it's job. I've had it for over 2 years. I would definitely recommend this.

For a camera bag this thing is quite large. I'm 5'10" and this thing is a monster on my back. While it fits well it's flat which means that working up a sweat is pretty easy, BUT it also means that the weight from the gear inside is well distributed so less strain.

This bag fits everything I need and it does it in stride. I don't put my laptop in the bag and instead I use it to fit all the flatter things that don't necessarily need their own compartment a.k.a. maps folders and such.

I would highly recommend this bag. The tripod is...terrible...and the cleaning kit...it works and isn't a bad place to start

AMAZING BAG. But if you don't have a lot of stuff to carry..it isn't for you. And while you don't get a weatherproof bag with this, the backpack will keep your stuff dry through a moderate rain. How do I know? Because I just walk through showers all the time and my stuff is dryer than I am and I use a freakin rain coat...

Reviews of Case Logic SLR Camera Sling

Caselogic XNSLR-2 SLR Camera Sling/Shoulder Bag
Customer Ratings: 4 stars

I decided to go for this after receiving a Nikon D60 kit that included a Nikon shoulder bag, which I didn't really like.

I wanted a bag that had no logo or identification so that I wouldn't be targeted as carrying expensive camera equipment.

I also wanted something that couldn't be pulled off my shoulder easily and was comfortable to wear.

The sling seemed the perfect choice. It's pretty comfortable and well made. The top flap unzips and opens up to reveal a semi soft container that perfectly holds my D60 with room for a pretty long lens attached to the body. My longest is the 55-200mm VR and there room for even a longer one (about 7"). What's neat is that you can leave the flap unzipped and there is a magnetic piece on the end of the flap so it can stay loosely shut without coming open.

Perfect for times when you want to store the camera temporarily.

The semi-soft container that holds the camera can be removed completely, so then you have just a bag to store anything you want.

If you continue to pull the zip open it will reveal the side of the bag to store an additional lens and/or flashgun. I find this a good idea but a little fidgety because there are two small velcro flaps that have to be undone before you pull the zip open. Nevertheless, its a good design.

There is a triangular padded piece to store a lens in but I found it too small to keep my 55-200mm VR or my 18-55mm VR. So I just keep my lens in the pouch that came with the lens and put that in the bag. No big deal.

there are two additional zipped compartments on the front and back of the bag, they are a little tight to get into but they easily store my charger, filters and additional battery.

All in all, its pretty modern looking and functional. Quite pleased.

Update: 6/28/2009

In the original review I implied that the main pouch and compartment for lens is one zip this is incorrect. There are two separate zips.(one zip does not 'continue' to open to reveal another compartment)

Also, After a couple months of usage, I'm still happy. The design of the bag has allowed me to take out the camera, turn it on, remove the lens cap and take the nearly missed picture opportunity in less than 5 seconds. I can't do this with a backpack or typical shoulder bag.

Update: 8/24/2009

Still going strong. I've been traveling around, on hikes and also to a baby shower event where the bag was indispensable.

I found that I can now keep three lenses in the bag the 55-200VR in the lens area, a 50mm 1.8d in the bottom of the main area and the D60 with 18-55mm VR attached on the cradle.

Update: 1/3/2010

I've upgraded to the Nikon D90 body. Fits perfectly. Accommodates the bigger body size well.

Update: 4/19/2011

I can hold a D90 body with a 17-55 2.8 lens attached in the main compartment with a Tokina 11-16 2.8 and nikon 85 1.4D in the side compartment, both on their side. couldn't be happier.

I ordered this bag for a more convenient bag to carry my new Canon DSLR and a couple of lenses instead of my old large gadget bag I used with my old 35mm SLR. The XNSLR-2 is diffidently good at that.

The main things I didn't like about my gadget bag was the size, it is awkward to carry and I cannot store the camera with a lens installed. Unfortunately the only thing that the XNSLR-2 does that my gadget bag doesn't do is allow me to store the camera with a lens. The XNSLR-2 is a little bit larger than I expected, I couldn't find one in a store in my area. Also, I have yet to find a comfortable position to carry the bag for an extended period of time. It is awkward to carry as sling and is a little to large to carry on a shoulder.

I find the bag great if I want to get quick access to the camera for a picture. The top flap being held closed by a magnet works for keeping it closed but I am concerned if it will remain closed so I tend to keep the zipper zipped.

With the lens compartment behind the shoulder strap, accessing the additional lens is bit awkward. A third hand would be helpful. If I cannot set the bag down I end up having to put the camera back in the bag. Support the bag with my now freed hand and pull the additional lens out. Change the lens and again put the camera back in the bag and support the bag while storing the lens. This procedure is actually more cumbersome than changing lenses with my old gadget bag.

The pockets on both sides are very deep and have plenty of room for my micro-tripod, some filters, the charger, additional memory cards and the camera's IOM. The pockets are very large, actually maybe to large. A smaller set of pockets inside the pockets for storing smaller items would have been a nice touch.

Overall this bag works although I might end up getting a holster bag for day trips when I am sure I'll only need one lens.

Update 11/25/2010: After using this case for over a year, it's days of my use might be at an end. I have upgraded my case to a Lowepro Toploader Pro 70 AW with a removable Lowepro 2S Lens Case (Black). After I use this setup for a while, I'll make a decision if I still have a need for this case too.

Best Deals for Case Logic SLR Camera Sling

The Caselogic XNSLR-2 SLR Camera Sling/Shoulder Bag is one of the best designed SLR bags for its purpose that I have used. It is a blend between a holster bag and a sling. When I wear my sling bag (Caselogics SLRC205) I feel it makes a statement "Look at me I'm a photographer". As a result, I an uncomfortable carrying in certain instances. Thus, I was looking for a small day outing bag that could hold my Nikon D90 with a zoom lens attached plus a secondary lens, flash unit and filters. The bag must provide very easy access to the camera while walking or climbing and yet provide security that items won't fall out of the bag.

OK....the Caselogic XNSLR-2 does all of that in a remarkably small, well thought out design.

On the negative side, the case is more a shoulder bag than a sling. I wear it over my shoulder like a sling. However, when rotated on my back for hiking, etc. it does not lay flat and "jumps" around with my motion (unlike the SLRC205). This would have been easy for Caselogic to remedy, but I am certain they had their compromises to meet. The two zipper compartments on the front and back are a good size but little difficult to access. In addition, I would have liked a small compartment in the main camera area to hold extra SD cards or a wireless remote. Instead, I keep that stuff in one of the side compartments and need to fish around when I need them.

If your looking for a camera bag to use for a short outing and don't want to take all your stuff, this is a very good choice.

Honest reviews on Case Logic SLR Camera Sling

The Caselogic is a nice enough camera sling bag but the inside form mold didn't fit my Olympus DSLR well. The lens tube is large enough and long enough for most telephone lens. The side lens pocket is a two hand operation to get into.

It's not perfect but the price is right.

I bought this bag to tote my new DSLR camera (Canon EOS Digital Rebel Ti1) and a couple of lenses (18-55mm & 55-250mm). I was debating between the Medium and the Small Domke, but decided on the small because I dislike big clunky bags, especially when there's tons of extra room I don't intend to fill. I really wanted ta sling bag, and the brown "rugged" look of the Domke was very enticing. I like things a bit unique, but not "odd"-looking. This bag fit the "cool" bill for me. It's nice enough to snap a few shots at my dd's dance competitions, but rugged enough to take hiking with my dh. I can fit my Canon with the 55-250mm lens attached (very snuggly, and I had to move the padded "dividers" around), the 18-5mm lens in the larger empty space, my extra memory card case in the smaller space, and my extra batteries in the from zip pocket....although I could probably fit one battery inside with the cards if I wanted to. I can also fit my extra lens covers/protectors inside as well. Trying the bag on, I found it very easy to access my camera through the top zipper opening. I love this bag...the only thing I would improve is to make it a bit longer. My camera really fits more snug than I am comfortable with. It could have used about an inch more in the "depth"(back of camera to front of lens measurement)...But even without that inch, it still fits everything I need, and I can get it zipped without much trouble. I may play around a little more with the dividers to get a better fit, but it's a great little bag for a day trip. I'm still not throwing out my big camera-"suitcase" to carry all the paraphernalia for long trips/vacations. All-in-all...a very cool bag.

I decided on this model bag, and size so I could carry it everyday, and have the essentials for an impromtu interview, film B-roll or stock video.

I have several cameras, but I use this bag specifically for carrying my Canon T5i w/ Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 attached, Canon 50mm f/1.2L, vintage Nikkor 20mm f/2.8, and F&V Z96 LED light in the camera compartment.

In the top I carry the Sennheiser EW 100 ENG G3 Wireless Microphone System w/ Lav and cables, Shure SM63 microphone, Zoom H4N recorder, Rode Videomic Pro, 77mm, 72mm & 52mm Variable ND filters, 6 SD cards in a pelican wallet, LensPen, Ipod touch, and Shure se215 earbuds.

If I ever carry headphones, I would put them in a hardcase and clip on the outside. The top compartment doesn't protect delicate headphones to my satisfaction. Also, you can't cram the top with other items, because the headphones take up to much space So quality earbuds made for monitoring work for me.

There is no space left in the bottom, and in the top just enough room for a small prime lens. I carry a iPad mini and a Toshiba android tablet in the laptop section, but it could hold up to a a 13" Macbook Air, or similar. On the outside I carry a Manfrotto 561BHDV-1 Fluid Video Monopod or a Mefoto compact tripod.

Everything fits like a puzzle, so your mileage may vary. It's how well you use the space and dividers, that will determine exactly what you will be able to squeeze in.

All around great value and useful bag. I have the 350aw along with a bunch of other Lowepro bags. They always seem to get it right and for a decent price.

I can't say enough good things about this camera backback. It's flexible, surprisingly roomy, well-built and highly functional.

1. The nylon/poly construction is well built and high quality. Zippers, pulls, and materials are all very functional. Construction is solid. It feels like a high quality product. The main straps are comfortably padded. It's one of the best nylon backpacks I've ever had.

2. The main camera compartment is reconfigurable using padded segments with Velcro fasteners. It's not infinitely reconfigurable; given there is Velcro loop in only a few sections, it has maybe 3 total configurations. But as it is, I can pack away two extra lenses, a Speedlite and a battery charger, plus a Canon 60D with a short prime attached.

3. The side zipper access to your camera is well conceived and works well. It's easy to get to your camera at a moment's notice. It's a little awkward to slide the pack around your left shoulder if you're right handed, but it puts the camera in your hand in seconds. The vertical clip strap ensures the whole compartment doesn't fly open at the wrong time.

4. The top cargo compartment is very roomy. It's shocking how much you can fit in there. I keep spare batteries, filters, cleaning supplies, straps and other goodies, and there's room to spare. There's room for a pair of high-quality headphones (like Sony's excellent MDR-7506), plus a strap to keep them in place. This compartment has several internal pockets, and a zipper-enclosed accessory folio that's large enough for several cables, filters, spare batteries, and more.

5. There's a large elastic-bound pocket on the right side that is perfect for a 2L bottle of water, or a full-size tripod. This is a great feature. There is a clip strap that secures a tripod from the top, plus a pull-out pocket on the bottom that extends the tripod area another several inches from below.

6. A shallow pocket along the back is perfect for a 13" laptop or an iPad.

6. Hidden in a pocket on the bottom, a rain-proof poncho pulls out to cover the entire backpack top to bottom. I've used this in heavy rain and the backpack stayed dry. These guys think of everything!

I've used this backpack on urban photo safaris and on long nature hikes. It's comfortable, functional and easy to use. It has a very incognito appearance that doesn't scream "Camera pack, steal me".

The 150 AW is great for a small kit, but if you need more than three total lenses or you have a 15" laptop, take a look at the 250 AW.

Highly recommended.

I got this backpack after I tried the AW100 and found it did not have the capability to hold an iPad or laptop. Was getting ready to travel to Europe and I am on crutches after severely broken leg (requiring surgery) so I did not want to lug around my Think Tank Aiport Antidote (a big packpack capable of holding 2 DSLRs plus prime lenses...). I wanted to just carry my d300 and be able to pull it out quickly for shots (hobbling around on crutches with a DSLR hanging by neck strap is sure to annoy you...AMHIK) while holding my iPad as well for airport entertainment. This filled the bill, holds my d300 plus an extra lens along with my essentials (chargers, USB and Apple cable, tactical flashlight, Benchmade, lighter, wallet, passport and headphones with some room to spare). Also light and easy on my leg as well. Very easy to pull the camera out and put back in. Highly recommended.

I love this bag! I could access my camera on the go without worrying about other things falling out of it. The rain cover that I thought I wouldn't really need was used three times in one week. I was so impressed that the cover was (1) neatly contained in the bottom of the bag and (2) the cover was attached so I didn't have to worry about the rain cover slipping off while I was walking. The camera storage compartments held my camera, two lenses, charger and a small waterproof camera. So glad I got the Lowepro 150!

I purchased this bag mainly for walkaround purposes, as well as travel. It comfortably fits my D3100 with 16-85mm lens attached, and my 55-300mm lens alongside -ORthe 55-300 attached and the 16-85 alongside. I previously had a Velocity 7 bag, but I couldn't get past the fact that you could not stand the bag up vertically because of the rounded bottom. These new "z" series bags have more of a rectangular shape and therefore can stand up if so desired. There is room in the front pouch for battery charger, spare camera battery, memory cards, cleaning accessories, etc. Well made product.

UPDATE: I recently upgraded the Nikkor 55-300 lens to the AFS VR 70-300 model and was concerned that I would have to purchase a larger version of this bag. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I am able to fit both the 16-85mm (with hood attached) as well as the 70-300mm (hood reversed), with either lens attached to the D3100. Just snug enough that nothing is rattling around.

UPDATE: I have since replaced the 55-300 zoom with the 70-300 VR zoom. Much to my surprise it also fits in the bag, attached or alongside. A bit snug, but nothing is stressed in any way.

First I gave this 5 out of 5 stars because I love the product and the quality. It fits very nicely over your shoulder with the well-padded sling and when wearing you almost forget you have it on. It is also easily accessible without taking the pack off; you just swing it around to the front and unload your stuff. My wife and I use it for our Canon 70D with the large lens which fits in nice with the adjustable side padded compartments. We also house the charger, lens hood and small tripod inside. The bag has a cool system for keeping track of your used memory cards and batteries so you can tell which ones are new if you have multiple. Overall very happy with this bag.

I just came back from my first trip using this bag. It is exactly the right size. It stays in front of my body which makes it possible to carry it into some places that a backpack cannot go. I can take my extra lens with room for the battery charger in the main pocket. The front pocket has room for a few extras money, ID, credit card, lipstick. It totally eliminated the need for a purse. Loved it!

Purchased the bag at the local camera store where I compared it to a lot of other bags. The build quality is extremely nice. I have a Nikon D600 with a 28-300 lens attached and it fits right in the bag with little room to spare. I also have a 50mm 1.8 lens that I have in one of the inside side pockets which is a little tight and makes pulling the camera out of the bag a little tough with one hand. I wanted a small bag and thought I could get away with this one over the 7z which I also looked at. The front pocket holds the battery charger for the camera and some other small items. With the camera inside the whole package is solid and compact just the way I wanted it to be. I think the DX frame cameras with their smaller diameter lens would fit in the bag and allow the side areas to be of more use. The large diameter of the lens on my camera make the side storage areas to tight for an additional FX lens unless it is a very small one. I am seldom 100% happy with anything but this bag is very close. A 6.5 size would make me 100% happy the 7z size bag was just a little to large for what I wanted. I think a camera bag is something you should go to the store to look at and purchase so you are sure it's going to work for you and the price is the same.

nice case. two compartments. durable exterior nylon.

Large drawback for me is that shoulder strap is not removable. i like to wear the case on my belthave to let the strap hang down. should have been removable with clips. had i known, i wouldn't have bought it.

I bought this bag online for my Canon S300 digital camera. It is an absolutley PERFECT fit for this camera! It will fit the S100 and S110 as well but it is probably just a bit big for those models. The outer pouch fits an extra battery and compact flash card very nicely. Like the S300 this bag is very compact which is a huge plus in my mind.

If you bought the S300 or similar sized APS ELPH camera, you wanted the advantage of the small size so you want a bag that is also compact. This one is just right. It protects the camera with it's quality water resistant material and foam padding yet doesn't add much bulk at all. You can attach this bag to your belt or use the strap to carry it around your neck or shoulder. Originally, I thought I would just remove the strap and use it strickly on my belt but found that many times it is much more accessible by shortening the adjustable strap and wearing it around my neck so that it hangs just below my chest.

Note: The case Canon makes for the S100, S110 and S200(the PSC-100) does not fit the S300 camera.

My wife took my original Tamrac camera and even though I could have tried to go to Walmart and buy something, I decided to get the same bag since it's the perfect size for my camera. The other thing I like is it's sturdy construction and belt loop which means it won't get lost. For a small digital camera it's perfect.

I have owned the Tamrac 5214 camera bag for 2 years. It has been on many trips including sking and mountain biking. It still looks new and has protected my camera very well. I recommend it, and would definitely buy another one if necessary.

I don't think this bag is as small as people are saying. I just bought a Canon A630, not a "super" compact camera, and it fits in here nicely. Snugly, but perfectly, and all that I need. There's also a little bit of room in the small zippered pocket for a memory card or spare AAs. Recommended.

Review of Canon WP-DC500 Waterproof Case for S330 Digital Camera

Canon WP-DC500 Waterproof Case for S330 Digital Camera

I purchased the WP-DC700 underwater case for my A70 and followed the directions exactly, oiling the gasket and cleaning it after each use. It leaked and ruined my month old camera. Customer service was rude, blamed me and then tried to bargain with me to fix it for $190 instead of the $280 that they initially requested. The underwater case has a 7 DAY WARANTY and the camera is not covered for water damage. My father had a similar problem with his $1000 Nikon digital which just stopped working for no aparent reason, they claimed it was water damage and tried to bargain with him to buy a rebuilt one for $500. So beware of bad customer service. Canon's customer service has all bad unreasolved reviews at the Better business Bureau

If you'd like to use your Canon S330 for underwater photography, then you need this waterproof housing from Canon that's made specifically to fit the Digital Elph S330 camera.

The case offers access to all of the camera's controls and allows you to take underwater photos down to 100 feet (compared to the 20-30 feet most disposable "underwater" cameras offer).

I used this case with my S330 in the Bahamas and took several good photos. However, do be aware that the case doesn't provide for an external strobe of any sort (not that the S330 works with one anyway), which means you'll need good lighting to get decent photos.

I also do recommend very strictly following its instructions for use to prevent leaks, including testing out in a bucket or shallow water and immediately rinsing / cleaning the case after a swim or dive. I had no problems whatsoever after using the case on several dives in 20-30 feet of water.

This waterproof case works great! I took it to the Bahamas with me and took pictures of some fish while snorkeling. Not a single leak and the pictures came out great. Due to temperature changes, sometimes the pics come out a bit hazy, but utilizing the anti-fog helps. I recommend this if you enjoy a lot of water sports.
