It also comes with a belt loop that you have to unbuckle your belt to loop through. I prefer this type, because it is less likely to come undone. Other camera case brands have belt loops with velcro or snaps, which I suppose other people prefer.

I purchased this case for my Canon Powershot SD1100 IS digital camera (a fairly small camera). The case has ample room for this camera alone, but, for a traveller like me the space is VERY handy.

First I have found there is enough room to fit the camera PLUS the battery charger in the main pocket, a great way to save space and not have to seperate the two in luggage juggling. Also helps you keep from misplacing the charger elsewhere from the camera.

Second With the camera and charger packed in the main pocket there is room enough for a spare battery and a couple extra memory cards in the front velcro pocket.

Great for lite travel packing.

Just received this and checked the fit with all my small primes. The lens I bought it for, Rokinon (Samyang) 8mm f/3.5 Fisheye, was a perfect fit. Height wise perfect, width with the lens cap attached was snug. I also checked the fit with my Nikon 50mm f/1.8D, Nikon 24mm f/2.8 AF-D, and my Nikon 28mm f/3.5 AI and all three swam in this case but the good news they all fit perfectly in the smaller 8x6 case. I love the two velcro strap connection on the back. It offers extra security of the double connection and still quickly slips over a bag strap or belt for attachment. Overall I am very pleased with the quality, level of padding, connection type, and size.

Just got this today. It is sturdy and well built. My canon 50mm f1.4 with reversed lens hood fits but it is tight. Almost have to deform the case in order to make it fit. I would probably not buy this again to house this particular lens/hood but overall construction and quality is good. There is not much clearance at the top. Really couldn't accomidate much more than my 50mm lens.

Although it is a tight fit, it does hold the Nikon AF-S 50mm f/1.4G prime lens with the hood attached. Do not purchase the 8x6 cm case as recommended by LowePro for this lens like I did because that pouch is way too small. Overall this case is well constructed and the quality is superb.

This bag is great for in the field work. I shoot video using the Panasonic P2 cards, and I needed something I could take on the road and use with a couple of hard drives. With this bag there is space for everything. I keep the hard drives in the pouch where they stay connected to the computer. When I need to download, I just open it up, pop the card in and go. It's fine if you are ok with somewhat fumbling to get the camera in and out. Just realize that by having the large front flap fold all the way down like it does, it makes for some serious fumbling to get the camera out. And when it comes out, the big flap gets in the way so you kind of have to do a combination of shaking the camera out and pulling it while keeping the flap out of the way.

They need to make a case of this exact size that opens on the side so you can just slide the camera out sideways. I regret buying this case for these reasons.

As designed. the magnetic flap works great and it fit my Sony CyberShot DSC-WX9 wonderfully. The inside liner is starting to crack a little where the flap hinges, but I have been using it daily for over a year. It still looks great on the outside.

Its difficult to understand some of the other reviews of this product given their negative nature. Mine is pretty flawless. The stitching is perfect. It fits the camera body snugly as it should. The leather is good quality. The camera *is* secured in the case by snaps around the carrying strap there is no way it could fall out contrary to one of the reviews.

The strap has a velour-like side that fits toward the body making it non-slip, a nice touch. Of course the strap may be used independently of the case.

Half of the case may be removed (using two snaps) leaving the camera protected in a half case.

Case is fully lined with a soft material to prevent the leather from abrading the camera body.

The quality and design of the case befits the retro design of the Fuji X20 camera. Anyone who has commented thought the camera/case was a film camera from the sixties take note if you're a hipster.

My sole criticism is the strap length is not adjustable.

Overall a well made and well designed product that I would recommend to any Fujifilm X20 owner. A camera that expensive should come with a case like this...

I'm using this with an X-20. For storage or travel it offers excellent total protection. The quality is very good, it is sturdy and it looks great. Mine is darker than the photo but that's OK. The top easily snaps off as you would expect. A very good value for the money. But equally important for me is protection for the camera while shooting with the top removed and therein lies a limitation.

As others have noted, but I missed, the bottom is held on to the camera by short leather straps that snap around a carrying strap. That undoubtedly works OK if you use a carrying strap. But this is a liability if you use a hand strap. While shooting, I always remove the case top. But even with the top off, this one attachment point means the bottom just doesn't want to stay on snugly. I'm always aware I need to hold it just right, and that is a distraction while trying to pay attention to details. I'm going to try to find a small metal O-ring the leather strap will fit through to attach to the unused lug, or maybe try to figure how to use the tripod attachment as it is on the opposite side of the hand strap?

Just to be clear, I had too high of expectations for a $20 leather case. This product is what I should have expected for the cost, nothing more and nothing less. The leather is PU leather, which is not surprising, and is not of the highest quality. After spending about 20 minutes with sharp scissors, a lighter, a metal clip, and a dental tool I am much happier (the work was done while I was on conference calls, so no big deal). There just needed to be a bit of cleanup done on the stitching and a little trimming done, but that was pretty easy to resolve.

There are a few fit "issues". on the back of the camera (oh, yeah! I have this on an X20) the case overlaps the bottom of the LCD. not a big deal, but can feel a bit sloppy. The case is not a real tight fit, and has gapping on different areas. I am working on fixing this and will update with my success. The most troubling point is that there is a gap on the inside lining. while not a major issue from a protection standpoint, it does show me that I need to make sure all of the seams are glued well so it doesn't start to separate. Again, this will probably just take a few minutes to fix and some good glue. There is also a seam on the top front that was not properly tucked. This one I am not quite sure how to fix because the leather is not long enough to be forced into the seam; this will probably result in more glue work.

The case matches the product picture well, and it does have "X10" embossed into the top. I will add pictures when I can that show the areas I am talking about.

All in all, if you are just looking for basic protection at a low cost or if you want to try an ever-ready type of case, it is a good short term but before investing in a $100 full leather case.

I am very happy with the seller's fulfillment of my order, and have zero complaints about them! I am just a little disappointed in the product itself...

I am extremely pleased with this camera bag. At first I thought it might be a little too big for my needs. I wanted a day pack that I could get my Nikon D200 with 18-200mm lens attached plus carry my 70-300mm and lensbaby but not be a huge backback. It ends up this pack was the perfect size.

camera on the bottom of the pack for weight distribution

side opening for easy access to camera. Can slip the camera in and out without opening up the whole pack

pockets in the front for accessories like extra batteries and flash cards

zipper side for lap top is next to your back (I use this compartment to stick my wallet in and push it to the far side so it is more secure)

The Lowepro Fastpack 250 is an excellent camera and laptop bag. Although designed for a 15.4" laptop it could easily accommodate a larger computer. I put my Nikon D300 with mounted 18-200 VR lens in it with no problems. The bag fits easily under an airline seat (even on a CRJ-200) and has room in the personal gear compartment for four paperback books plus some snacks! The only negative is that the carry handle could use some padding.

I really liked this bag, except for 1 missing feature. The padding is excellent, storage is good for the size of bag and all gear is well protected. The laptop compartment is a little tight depending on the model of laptop you have. What I didn't like was the lack of a sternum strap, it had a lap belt which is good for long carries, but even with the lap belt the lack of a sternum strap means it puts alot of weight on your lower back rather than moving it up to your shoulders. The quick access design is nice and useful for getting to your camera quickly and easily.

After a lot of research online and at different store, I don't have to think twice that this DSLR-laptop backpack is closest to the perfect backpack I was looking for. I bought an Ape Case Pro for Digital Slr Cameras Large Size By: Norazza, returned it. Then got a Lowepro Slingshot 200 All Weather Backpack (Black) and compared a Nikon Backpack for DSLR, Lenses, and Laptop. Fastpack 250 clearly stood out from others in multiple aspects.

Very quick in using due to the side access to the main camera pocket.

Comfortable for long outdoor trips. Camera weight is at the bottom and all weight is adjusted well with the waist strap.

Very spacious from inside. Ample space for D60, 2 lenses, 1 camcorder, 1 flash, charger-power cable-USB cable.

Adjustable pockets with velcro.

Great protection. Very thick padding for both camera & laptop.

One backpack to carry laptop, DSLR, & camcorder.

Cleverly designed flap. The media cards in the top pockets will never fall off, as the flap stops half-way through.

One outside zipper pocket on top for quick access. One accessory pocket outside main flap.

Main pocket on top has space for cellphone, pens, markers, laptop battery-pack, accessories etc.

Great looks.

The only scope of improvement is following:

A hook/attachment option to attach the tripod carry case. (However, I still rated it as 5 star)

The solution for this problem is: Buy a small tripod which can fit in a stroller. You can take it along while going on flight and can always keep it in car on road trips.

I like the size, shape, and general construction of the Lowepro Fastpack 250. The reason for the three stars is that the configurability of the camera compartment in this backpack has a fatal flaw.

As with most camera carriers, the Fastpack 250 has a number of adjustable padded partitions to configure the camera compartment to your particular equipment. These partitions attach to the compartment using Velcro. However, unlike most similar products, Lowepro provides limited attachment points for the partitions in the compartment. Instead of making all of the walls and floor of the compartment of Velcro (soft side), Lowepro only provides a few strips and patches, meaning that you can only configure the partitions within very limited parameters. While there was plenty of room for my equipment in the compartment, I was unable to position the partitions to properly hold the equipment.

If your camera equipment consists of a small DSLR body and several small lenses, this almost fixed configuration should work. I wanted to carry a medium sized DSLR with two medium large lenses and it was not possible.

The backpack also has a waist belt with padded hip protectors. If you don't want to use the waist belt, there is no place to stow it, so it is always hanging off the sides of the bag.

This is really cool. Good impact protection, excellent moisture protection, plenty of room for accessories and expands to fit longer lenses. The only drawback is that it won't fit an SLR with the grip attached. I thought it would given the inside dimensions, but my 7D with grip just wouldn't make it. I still give it 5 stars because it was not really designed to fit a camera with grip.

My favorite things about this bag:

Storage without adding bulk to the bag. The inside lens cushions on either side are actually hollow storage pockets big enough for extra batteries, a charger, shutter cable, remote etc. It also has a zip pocket on top that is great for memory cards.

The bottom expands an extra 2 inches if needed for longer lenses. I can actually fit my 7D with 70-200 f4L IS in this thing!

The shoulder strap is really long which is great because I am really tall. It's also long enough if you are wearing a bulky coat.

Its very light weight.

Waterproof zipper. No wet weather worries.

Overall its been perfect for me.

All the features of this pack are great. The pack looks great but as a backpacker I was really disappointed with the shoulder straps on this backpack. For me it just wasn't comfortable. All the pockets are wonderful on this pack there is a place for everything. If I could suggest one thing it would be a wish for a hip belt to help distribute the load when this pack is fully loaded. With gear (2 cameras batteries flash tripod 5 lens and the extra added weight of the canvas material its just to heavy to not have a waist belt and be able to hike 10 miles or so (which would be many of my uses for this pack). For people traveling around 3 miles or so ( and carrying a full load) I would say its doable but probably just not comfortable. If you have a doubt buy it load it up and put it on like I did and return it if you don't like it. If the straps were comfortable (and or it had a hip belt) I would of given this five stars but that is a personal preference thing.

I love this bag. The there's tons of pockets, and although some are in random spotsit's an amazing pack. It's very comfortable, and will definitely fit more than a days worth of clothingIF you don't stick your camera in there.

The modular shelf/pocket for the camera is great, you can basically make multiple sized pockets for all your camera parts.

Only a few iffy thingsthe rain cover (WORKS AWESOMELY) but may not fit if you over stuff the bag. The zipper for the camera pocket, although works well and gives you great access to your camera, will get stuck if you push it to the bottom corners.

Overall I love this bagI'll be sure to add more comments after I take this down to Costa Rica for two weeks in January.

I bought this around the 26th of Jan for a trip to Salvation Mountain. Straight out the box the damn left strap was ripped. The stitching came undone. I called immediately and they sent me a new one with one day shipping. I figured I just got a faulty bag and give it a second try. During the trip one of the snaps came off. Another problem might be the draw string.It gives me a little concern because it seems like it will wear down and fall apart/rip. Overall the quality of the bag seems a little shoddy. If not for the questionable stitching this would be a great bag.

It can still be used even without the snap, I plan on eventually getting a new snap reattached. The size of the bag is great. I haven't brought it on an airplane yet but it looks as if it would fit as a carry on with no problem. It has a good amount of compartments to fit two DSLR's. I have a 15inch Mac book and it fits with a little spare room to fit my photo textbook(it's not that big) and a small spiral notebook.

The photo shown with the tripod on the side is misleading, I have yet to get my tripod to fit and it is not a big tripod. It pissed me off because that was one of the selling points for me. I also didn't realize that you have to tie traps that it comes with in order for it to hold the tripod.

Just beware of the quality, I assume it's hit and miss from bag to bag as I have had 2 and both have issues.

I'll try to upload photos of all the equipment I have been able to fit in this bag which is one of the positive because it fits a lot of my gear

After hours and hours of hunting on Amazon for the right backpack I finally chose this one. It was between this and one other, smaller, option. The smaller of the two would not have held my 15" laptop (not with the protective padding, anyways) plus camera equipment and so this bag won. I must say, I'm not regretting the purchase. My only quip is the flimsy dividers that you velcro into the compartment for the camera. By the end of a day long trek around town the dividers had come loose and my camera was imposing on its neighbor lens. Still, the padded dividers kept the equipment separated, for the most part, as I moved about and everything remained in one piece at the end of the day so I can't complain too much. I have yet to use the bag to its fullest capacity. That is, with a laptop plus my camera equipment. I fear for my back with that load but I have no doubt it will hold it all. This backpack has crazy amounts of storage compartments and even hidden zipper compartments that let you pull out extra storage pouches. I love that the bag is nondescript and resembles an Army bag. I feel this will be less of a target to potential sticky fingers. The bag closes at the top with a pull string. It doesn't sound all too safe but then the top compartment flops over it and buttons down for extra security. It's a little bit of a hassle pulling things out while moving but it is doable. My only concern is whether or not this bag will pass as a carry on when I go traveling by air in a few days. The dimensions make it out to be just a tad smaller than the size max but when it's full this thing is bound to get huge (and heavy)!

Je cherchais un sac souple pour emmener mon EX-2F un peu partout et ce petit sac répond tout à fait.

For the most part this bag accomplishes everything I need. It's the perfect size to carry a point-and-shoot camera and still add another small item like sunglasses. So convenient to have when you're traveling around busy streets on vacations. The closure mechanism has two settings so you can close it up tight when it's only you camera in there or expand when you add another item. I have a larger P-n-S camera (Olympus XZ-1) and it fits just fine, so you should have plenty of room with the smaller cameras. It can handle much bigger P-n-S camera but definitely not for a DSLR. I gave it only 4 stars because while it's a nice tough weather resist material, it's very thin and will not offer a lot of protection against bumps. That hasn't been much an issue for me because I didn't want a big clunky bag that screamed I have a camera to steal. Instead this stays close to my body, providing convenient access.

I did buy an camera case Lowepro Terraclime 50 Recycled Camera Bag because it is ecological and have good price and, according the picture fits perfectely a camera like mine (canon SX30IS). I am very unhappy and disappointed with this product due to the camera was very squeezed and the case doesnt close at all. The case looks like to be bigger than the fact is. It is good for a small camera, but definitly not for a zoon camera like the one showed in the product marketing! Original Parts from FUJIFILM for the FUJI x-e1 camera. One would think there would be a tripod mount on the bottom of the half case. If you are looking for a tripod mount, stay away from this case made by FUJI for the FUJI X-E1.

The Gariz brand half leather has the mount. Looks like I may have to return this for the aftermarket brand.

I ordered a used item for 20% savings. Item arrived on time. It Fits well unlike 3rd party products which could have fitment issues. Everything was in pristine condition, better than I expected.

Fits camera well. I wish they had a full case option as this one seems a bit pointless for traveling, but I used the wrap that comes with the case to enclose the camera while trekking or if I want it handy while in the car. Didn't rate it 5 stars because it has no tripod mount or access to the mount.

I bought this when I purchased the camera to prevent wear on the bottom and sides of the camera body, plus it makes the camera very easy to grip in a secure manner. Despite what one reviewer says, it is made of leather. I have one minor suggestion for Fuji. Please add a good leather strap that permits a secure grip and has the same leather as the case. so that I can also purchase that, when I don't want to use the neck strap.

The only real issure of is the lack of access to the tripod hole. You have to remove the case, which takes all of 1 minute or less. Just one button unsnap on the left side and one on the right side and voila, you have quick access to the tripod hole.. I've seen other cases that weren't avaiable when I purchased this case and would have liked a black version, but I made that decision and won't hold Fuji responsible. It still looks good on the black version of the X-E1.

Nice looking, decent protection for the camera. The strap is a little cheap, but seems to be wearing in fine. Feels too hard out of the box, but after a few weeks seems to be relaxing with use. The access to the battery/SD card is really nice, but I wish it had a way to use a tripod with it.
