At first glance this item is not a bad looking camera bag at all , very similar to other name brands look like . I purchased/ordered this camera bag on 5/13/2012 . I have used it sparingly however on 10/1/2012 the bag , while still appearing in like new condition on the surface with the exception of a couple of zipper pulls having broken off , the bags upper left strap came apart . Also one of the inner dividers velcro tore away and is not repairable . At the time i was carrying my Nikon D5100 , a 35mm lens along with other minor accessories which are all well within the described capabilities of the bag . I don't think a bag that is less than 5months old should be deemed useless , however , useless is it exactly what it is . I did notify the seller ( Accessory Genie )and have been informed that they ( the seller Accessory Genie ) only cover the product up to 45 days and thereafter the matter has to be handle by the manufacturer , fair enough , i can't fault the seller . Based on the QUALITY of this product , or LACK THERE OF ; I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAMERA BAG as it is of a POOR QUALITY . Don't take my word for and find out for yourself , but know that after 45 daysit is out of the sellers ( Accessory Genie ) hand .

Wow, this thing is almost pretty much what I needed and didn't know I needed it. I put my D7100 camera (with a 35mm prime lens) on the top compartment, paperwork and stuff on the back side, an extra lens in the main compartment, along with the battery charger, filters etc. I have a 72 inch tripod and although it seems slightly bigger than I'd want (which is purely the tripod's fault and not this backpack's), it still seems to fit OK with two legs instead of three plugged into the fitting created to support the tripod.

This thing basically is big enough to carry all my stuff, but small enough so that I don't try to carry even more unnecessary stuff. In fact, at one point I carried a 55-300 zoom lens and an 80-200 zoom lens to test, in addition to the camera and prime lens on the top.

The point is this thing works for certain setups, it's decent in price, holds what I need, is extremely comfortable, and seems to be of high quality. AND, it has a rain bag cover and chest and waist straps so that no one can grab your pack and run with it while you have it on.

CONS: The only thing I found was that the way the Velcro stuff is rearranged in the main compartment (meant to place your camera body in sideways like the picture) means you can't easily put the camera in with a large zoom lens AND separate the main compartment with the provided section pieces in such a way that the camera body is on the bottom and the zoom lens is towards the center/top section of the main compartment. Luckily my wife had some Velcro strips that has a sticky on the other side. I had to add three Velcro strips to various places in order to separate the main compartment into three sections: the main one for the camera and zoom lens, and the two sides for my filters and such. One star off for this.

I ordered this backpack to bring my Nikon D5100 along when I was skiing.

The backpack just holds the camera, an extra lens (55-200mm), and my flash (SB700), which was perfect for my needs. There is plenty of little pockets to hold SD cards, remote, extra battery, etc, and a couple of KitKats. It is easily adjustable and the waist and torso straps hold it firmly in place during physical activities. It is really clever that the backpack opens three ways for easy access to different accessories. The "mobile phone" pocket is way to small for a modern smartphone, and the dividers are somewhat difficult to adjust to different configurations, but otherwise it is a very good product that I highly recommend.

I bought this bag for my FANTASTIC new Nikon P80. Well, the camera fits in the bag, but there's no space for my extra battery, or for the lens cleaning pen (which I also bought).

However: this is the worst purchase I've made all year.

Why? The bag is poorly made. You could buy almost any other bag, and it would be better quality than this.

-The quality of the fabric is nothing like the fabric used in Lowepro bags (for instance).

-The padding is so thin to be almost non-existent.

-The bag looks cheap.

-The top doesn't fit the rest of the bag properly, so if it rains, your camera will get soaked.

-No strap.

-This bag is much more expensive than anything similar on the market.

I bought a little Lowepro bag for much less than the price I paid for this bag, and am using that instead. I suggest you do the same.

Perfect fit for my coolpix L110. I wish it had a strap. There are slots for the straps on the camera so you can use the camera strap while the camera is in the case. But when you are using the camera the case is strapless and in the way.

The camera fits the Favbric case perfectly, I certainly did not want a case that I needed to hang around my neck, just a pouch that could fit in my backpack. This case fit my needs perfectly. Also has enough room for a SD card, a USB drive, an AV cable and 4 AA batteries.

I thought I'd get the fabric case for my newly-purchased Nikon Coolpix camera and that was a mistake. Fortunately not too costly. What I hadn't realized was that case didn't have a strap for over-the-shoulder use, nor is it large enough to carry accessories. A bit of a waste of time really as it's totally impractical. I'd advise getting a "proper" camera bag.

The Wrist Pod is exactly how it's described. Attaches to any camera using the tripod screw and holds the camera securely against the wearer's wrist. Since I've gotten it, it's done exactly that! Seems to be made of quality materials that will last through wear and tear that's to be expected while traveling or doing other activities that require something like the wrist pod. I'm very happy with it!

My only note of caution this may be a little uncomfortable to people with smaller wrists (but they can't make the pod any smaller otherwise it won't fit regular-sized point and shoot cameras). I am a very petite woman and have very narrow wrists and at first the wrist pod felt very cumbersome and large but again logistically it can't get any smaller and after a while I was very comfortable wearing it (I use it mostly for snorkeling, so being in the water may be part of that). Still love this little gadget!

I was worried that my camera might fall off when I originally got this, but my worry was short lived. The grip is strong. If you know Velcro then you know what I'm talking about. It's permanently attached to a tripod piece, so you can just screw it into your tripod mound which is a very strong connection.

I like the fact that my camera can flip in when I want to really get physical, and flip out when I want to capture a moment. That feature is very convenient and gives me peace of mind.

Use it with your waterproof camera and jump on in because it's designed for water sports and activities.

Got this for a beach holiday I'm NOT a surfer, but have just got a (TS-3) waterproof camera and wanted some efficient way of carrying it. The Golden Hour strap was the only real wrist mount I found. Just back from its 1st major trip and used it kayaking, cenote swimming, snorkelling and general swimming. And now while running with the dog at home...

As a means of transporting a small light (and ideally weather/waterproof) camera the wrist strap is a supremely good idea and well-executed! Just unvelcro the cover flap and your camera is secured to your wrist ready to go.

Some of the cenote photos I got would have been v difficult without this. I used a climbing harness and rope to rapell in; you wouldn't want a loose camera flapping around on a normal strap or in a shorts pocket in that scenario.

Any issues? Minor quibbles:

the circlip holding the tripod screw into the strap to stop it falling out is a bit fiddly and likes to drop off. Not a big issue as it isn't needed but something to keep an eye on (ie you won't find it in a sandy car park!).

underwater the cover strap velcro can float in the way of the lens I just doubled it back of course.

wrist velcro is too small really to go over clothes a version for going over outdoor clothing would be interesting for hikers, climbers etc when in inclement weather.

Summary: far more useful than I imagined. If you have a waterproof / weatherproof you probably would find this v useful.

I intend to use this while kayaking. Seems well made. It will take some playing with to find out how best to mount it on the wrist and still be able to paddle without it getting in the way. Camera seems well protected and secure.

As a job I travel about filming various abandoned locations (this sounds weird, but it's true).

This bag has been my traveling companion through countless broken windows, up numerous trees, and across many state lines.

It has been inside and throughout abandoned asylums, castles, resorts, factories, homes, and hospitals...

I trust it with keeping a lot of expensive equipment safe and secure, it has yet to fail in it's duties.

Having the side-mounted tripod holder is a wonderful feature, and is the thing that actually sold me on the bag.

This bag is far from huge, but carries all of my equipment without being cramped.

It's smaller size is actually a great advantage when you need to be nimble, or climb up something to get a shot.

This backpack comfortably carries the following for me:

My D-SLR camera body (in camera armor).

Two lenses, one of which is a very large wide-angle.

Two external flashes.

Two remote flash receivers and a transmitter.

Two LED flashlights.

A wired remote trigger.

8 AA batteries in a case.

Three Pentax Li-ion batteries.

The wall charger for the Pentax batteries.

My memory cards in their case.

An entire lens and camera cleaning kit (blower, lens cloths, distilled water).

My Jeep keys, my wallet, and my cell phone also come along in the side pocket.

Lastly, on the side of the bag two tripods are secured (one standard size, and a skinny telescoping one for my flashes)

As you can see, this thing has adequate space for most everything you would need to carry on your back.

In fact I could fit more if needed, but I really don't have anything else I need to tote around with me on a daily basis.

My only concern is that the seam on the left shoulder strap is starting to fatigue and some of the stitches are letting loose.

I am partially to blame for this however, since I am not the most gentle person with my bag...

I'll add my two cents in short, I don't even see how they can make and sell this bag at this price. You can spend as much as you want for a similar camera backpack, but you won't get more bang for your buck. Very nice materials, well constructed, with good protection for your equipment. A few reviewers claim this is a bag for "middle class" photographers. Lol. These are folks who still think that owning recognized brand names makes them better photographers. It doesn't. If you don't need something bigger, and you're not going to be putting a huge amount of weight in it, this is a great bag. I keep my medium format camera, two extra lenses, and general paraphernalia in it, and it fits nicely and is comfortable to wear for many hours. You can't go wrong with this one.

This bag is very spacious, has adjustable/customizable velcro pockets inside for camera, lens, and other items, and has sufficient padding to protect everything. It also has an exterior tripod holder (which I have not used yet). Bag quality is good--the materials and zippers are not cheaply made. All in all, for the price you can't beat this backpack.

I can use this backpack to carry/store my SLR camera with 3 lens, accessories, and external flash. It's very flexible and well built (and padded) for the price. The only downsides are if you need to take more then one camera or need something that's waterproof/resistant (or can carry a hydro pack) for extreme hiking. Either way, it is an amazing buy and is highly recommended!

First, this is not a sling, but a back pack. The description say this is a "sling SLR backpack" I bought this on a gamble that was a sling and surprise surprise, it's actually a back pack; but Amazon did a wonderful job of letting me return the product for full refund. Wish they had a picture of the straps or re-word their description.

But for the backpack, the straps are well padded, but the interior compartment and padding felt "cheap" for a $30.00 product. I tried to put my DSLR in the bad and walked around and can feel the camera move around (front to back, not side to side). Additional padding would have solve this problem, but the included padding was very minimal. I also wish they had more padding dividers. The side tri-pod holder works well.

I've been looking for a cover for my Nikon Coolpix P7700 for those times when I just want to put it in my purse, or tote bag, and need to protect it. Until I discovered the OP/TECH USA Soft Pouch Body Cover, I had no choice but to carry a camera bag. The neoprene cover even fits with the lens hood that I have on my camera. This is a good bag for the price, it holds all I need for my DSLR and then some, but is rather bulky. I should have expected this by the dimensions, but when it came time to carry it I found it rather cumbersome. What's more, the interior padding is filled with air, a good method overall but I find mine "squeaks" as I walk around with it. Absolutely LOVE this camera bag! I needed a wellpadded, larger bag for my equipment to take on an extended trip to Africa. This bag went over above my expectations. It had plenty of room for my lenses, chargers, manuals, and plenty of extras that kept me from having to lug so many extra bags around. I bought this for my canon camera before i went on vacation it says its water proof but i have not tried to find out its great and light weight but the material is very thin i would prefer something a little more protective next time because i worry if i drop my camera it might break with this case but if your very careful and this is just to prevent scratches or water damage this would be a perfect case for you

I bought my Pelican 1150 to hold my Panasonic FZ200 camera. It is just barely deep enough for my camera. I tested it in the kitchen sink, it is bone dry after holding with the seal 6" under water for 20 minutes. I'm an avid whitewater kayaker and I was looking for the smallest possible waterproof box for my camera.

This case protected my camera and is lightweight, which is what I needed while on vacation. I bought this for a Canon Powershot A2200 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom (Black), which fits perfectly fine inside. Don't expect much in the way of storage space, though. Discount Lowepro Napoli 30 Camera Case (Black)

I've had this case for a while now, and I really like it. The build quality is high, the leather is very nice (with one exception), and it's a perfect fit for my Sony HX30V and RX100 cameras. I'm sure you could get a Canon S90 or S100 to fit easily, but my Olympus XZ-1 was much too tight even with the lens cap removed.

Embossed in the leather is a small, classy Lowepro emblem. The case is semi-hard on the front, back, and bottom, with soft leather on the sides. Supple suede leather lines the padded interior, along with a small soft nylon sleeve just large enough for two SD cards to sit side by side.

I'm not a fan of zipper tops (too long to whip out and get a shot) or velcro (too noisy, I prefer stealth for better candid shots), so it's nice to have the magnetic enclosure. It's secure enough to go jogging without worrying that the camera will escape. Yes, I really do go jogging with my camera sometimes.

I wear this on my belt every day, and the belt loop has stretched a little bit, but not so that it's a problem. Also, it's not weather proof, or dust proof, so the camera will get wet in the rain (unless you pull your jacket down over it, which is easy to do given it's small size) and your camera will get a little dusty due to the small openings on the sides near the top. It's nice enough to wear to the office, however, not so nice that it draws attention in casual settings. I have accidentally dropped my HX30V from about three feet up onto tiled flooring, and thankfully it did protect my camera. The soft interior suede, and the silky feeling nylon sleeve have been trouble free, but I did rip out the nylon model tag because I have had issues with those marring the screen in other cases.

The only issue I have with this case (and what kept it from 5 stars) is the small black suede leather panel on the right side of the front face. It gets marred quickly and easily. Between the belt buckle in the car, numerous office chair backs, a ferrel cat clawing it's way up the right side of my body, small children attacking me with whiffle ball bats, and the occasional twig, branches, and bushes on the trail, it's pretty much done. What's nice is that it's almost completely worn the suede texture off, and it looks more like a duller panel of smooth leather now. It's not like anyone has looked at the case and gasped or anything, but it is easily noticeable. What is delightfully surprising is that the rest of the leather on the case is completely unscathed. This wouldn't prevent me from making the purchase again, or recommending it to a friend, but seriously Lowepro, lose that panel, and you have a 5 star case in your lineup.

Fits my Sony RX100 very well. The magnet flap holder is much nicer than velcro and works quite well when the case is attached to your belt. I'm subtracting a point for its weak styling.
