Its a very decent bag!

I was able to fit 1 ( wescott) monolight,monolight reflector, 4 ( yes 4) light stands, 2 umbrellas, and a couple of cords and accessories... and there is still a little corner left... ( maybe for a second monolight in the future?)

Well.. there was some things that could be better. I really wish there were more padded dividers. i found myself stealing from another bag just so i can have everything neat!

The wheels are pretty decent also however they dont look as rugged. For the amount of travel I will be doing i hope they fair out... or else i"ll have to replace them with some smooth scooter wheels! lol..

But Overall!... Its a great bag!

I got this for my new Lumix DMC_LX5, as another review said it fit and was good. It fits if you don't take in account that the strap doesn't, and has to drape over the top and hang out of the opening after you zip around it. It also has a front zip pocket, in the photo makes it look like there's lots of room for an extra battery. The battery fits, but when you put the camera in with the strap, you have to really stretch the case around it to zip up. I didn't return it because it was too much trouble. Who knows how long it will last having to stretch it each time it's used.

I just today received this camera case, and while I DO intend to keep it, prospective buyers should be warned that while it is exceptionally well-made, it has essentially no padding at all in the construction. It's something to put your camera in to carry around, but if you drop it, there will be little, if any impact protection.

Just to be clear, I am heavily biased towards Timbuk2 products. That being said, I really do think this is a nice camera case. It is very well-constructed, and the material is smooth despite being durable. There's a bit more refinement to it than many of the other cases I have had in the past. I use it for my D600 with 50mm prime lens. Everything fits well and it is easy to open/close.

Some have noted the lack of padding. I agree that if you're going to be dropping this regularly, you may want to add some padding. But for most drops (and I have dropped it), the usual camera equipment will likely be just fine. The bag itself is somewhat stiff and seems to distribute the force of the drops well.

The only real issues in my opinion are the fact that it's not that sneaky (I personally can tell it's an equipment bag) and, for those who want to set their bags down upright, the bottom is rounded.

This case seems to be of very good quality. The stitching is great, and the quality of the leather is very nice. The inside is soft-lined and protects the camera well. Keep in mind it is not padded, so don't expect it to help if the camera is dropped onto a hard surface from a distance. But it does cover the camera well, including the corners. The snaps seem to be a good quality brass. The camera with 14mm lens and lens cover fit just right into the case. The supplied strap is also good quality and the length is somewhat adjustable.

Inside and out, this bag is incredible. Better than I imagined, even. It's built like a tank, heavily padded, and doesn't look like a camera bag. The interior pads can be moved around and repositioned via velcro inside the bag, so I have no idea what people are talking about when they say their camera won't fit. The strap is really comfortable. It's been a joy to use, and I feel that my gear is safe the whole time. I sometimes wonder how many people around me realize that I'm packin' a camera, lenses, and other gear inside this bag as I walk by.

Here's what I fit:

Honest reviews on Opteka Excursion Series C700 Weatherproof Canvas Shoulder Bag

In our studio we have a lot of bags. Most of them are Tamrac and Lowepro. They're excellent bags. But we needed a basic, medium/small bag for shooting on the run. It needed to be durable, spacious and compact. I stumbled on the Opteka bags while trying to find a simple canvas bag that was something like one of the very old ones we have here. When I cam across this one, I was skeptical because the price seemed almost too reasonable. I took a chance and bought the bag. When it arrived, I was blown away. This has all of the construction quality of the more expensive bags from Tamrac and Lowepro, and in some ways surpasses their quality. For example, where Tamrac always uses heavy duty plastic buckles, Opteka is using actual metal ones. It's 2011 and I didn't even know anyone still did that. Needless to say I was really impressed.

Size wise the bag is great too. It's compact on the outside, but holds quite a lot on the inside. This bag, all at once, comfortably holds:

-Canon 5D Mkii (without lens attached)

-24-70mm 2.8L

-85mm 1.8

-50mm 1.4

-35mm 2

580EXII

And after all that It still has room for wireless triggers, extra batteries, memory cards, filters, diffusers and lens hoods. It's really a remarkable product.

There are only three real cons that I can see.

First, the opening at the top of the bag is a bit snug. When I purchased it, I'd imagined that the opening to access the equipment would be very large so that you could easily see everything in the bag at a glance. It's a little confined in that department. But I've actually found this to be beneficial. The weight of the bag, and the design allows you to keep shooting with the bag over your shoulder and if you simply keep the flap pulled back, the smaller opening allows you to quickly access gear without having to set the bag down, and without worrying that things are going to fall out of the bag if it's tipped a little too far in one direction.

Second, the dividers inside are velcro, much like the other bags on the market. However, the velcro is placed in such a way that there's only really one or two arrangements you can make with them. I'd have liked to see dividers that were more versatile. At first I was disappointed with this because I wanted to be able to construct the inside so it was as much like our other on-the-go bags as possible, in terms of where things belong in the bag. But, I found an arrangement, that was a little different, but still more than adequate.

And lastly, the styling is a little funny. The picture makes the bag look like plain classic styling, maybe a bit adventurous even. But upon closer inspection, it actually looks a like it has some Native American styling or something. I think it looks fine, but I'm sure some people would be turned off by it.

Cheap Domke 700-00A F-10 Medium Shoulder Bag -RuggedWear

I just received my Domke F-10. I was looking for a bag that looked good, wasn't too large, and would carry my XTI, with either two additional lenses or one lens and my 550ex Speedlight flash. This bag looks like a winner. Compact, clean-looking. Looks well built.

The bag comes with a non-removable long shoulder strap, a detachable medium strap and a built in hand-grip strap on the top of the bag. The bag has two velcro dividers in the main compartment. My XTI fits nicely in the middle of the main compartment, with the 75-300 lens attached, pointing down. The handgrip overlaps into one of the outside compartments, but still leaves room in that outside compartment for my 17-50 lens.

The other outside compartment is large enough for another extended zoom lens. There are two zippered pockets on the bag, a very large one on the outside, large enough for a point/shoot camera, batteries, filters, cards. That pocket is 10" at the top, 6" at the bottom and 6 1/2" tall. Expanded, it is 2" deep. The other pocket is in the flap of the bag. It is not very deep, and doesn't appear to all that useful. With the flap 'up', and the zipper open, items in this pocket will fall out, as all of the storage room is above the zipper.

The main flap of the bag is secured in a locked position by both a very large velcro strip, and a metal clip. The velcro is very loud when opened. I'll probably have my wife sew some cloth around most of the velcro to limit the strength of that connection.

I like the metal clip it looks like it will last much longer then the normal plastic clips on most bags.

Likes about the bag: Looks, size, workmanship.

Dislikes about the bag: The velcro closure is too noisy

I, like many others it appears, have purchased and returned an unbelievable amount of camera bags in my first 3 years of DSLR photography. However, after just receiving this Domke F-10 (olive) and loading it up, I believe I have ended my search for the perfect bag for my current photo kit. It obviously won't be ideal for everyone, but the following is what I am able to comfortably fit into the bag and access quickly and easily:

Nikon D5100 with Nikon 16-85mm lens attached, with hood (not reversed).

Nikon 70-300mm lens (not attached though, hood reversed)

Nikon 35mm F/1.8

Nikon SB400 Flash (in protective case)

Battery charger

Spare AA's for SB400

Spare camera battery

LensPen & cloth

SD cards

Lens filters

Various other small random items

To make the velcro a little quieter, I attached a 5" piece of non-adhesive velcro in the middle of the strip on the bag. The velcro on the flap now only connects at the ends of the strip. Much less noisy and is easily removable if I change my mind later.

If you carry a kit similar to what I've described above, I think you'd be happy with this product, in the color of you preference of course.

I bought this camera bag for my new Olympus e-620 body and two lens kit Olympus Evolt E620 12.3MP Live MOS Digital SLR Camera with Image Stabilization and 2.7 inch Swivel LCD w/ 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 and 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6 ED Zuiko Lenses. The bag holds the body with one lens attached, the second lens, plus the battery charger and a spare battery. Domke bags are very well made. I spent a little more on this bag than I was planning to, but it is worth every penny.

I treated the bag with Tectron water repellent. After I treated the bag, I let it air out for a day or so until the solvent smell dissipated. Now I have well-designed, rugged, and water repellent bag that is perfectly sized for my camera and lenses.

This bag is perfect for carrying my Canon 60D with one attached lens (18-55) plus one other lens (55-200) with lens hoods for both; as well as other basic items for an outing. The carry strap is very useful. The shoulder strap is widely adjustable. It is a Domke, so it should last basically forever. If I need to carry a flash or other large items, the regular Canon gadget bag is required, but those occasions are infrequent. I love this bag!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the waxwear material on this bag, looks simply fantastic, found the padding adequate (it *is* a domke), flap folds on the sides to close fully on top, 2 pockets were very usable. Only annoyance was stiff plastic in top which keeps bag from fitting to your body (minus 1 *). Looks nothing like a camera bag, rugged, highly recommended!
