Buy Portable Digital SLR Camera Backpack Sling Bag for Nikon D7100

Customer Ratings:

At first glance this item is not a bad looking camera bag at all , very similar to other name brands look like . I purchased/ordered this camera bag on 5/13/2012 . I have used it sparingly however on 10/1/2012 the bag , while still appearing in like new condition on the surface with the exception of a couple of zipper pulls having broken off , the bags upper left strap came apart . Also one of the inner dividers velcro tore away and is not repairable . At the time i was carrying my Nikon D5100 , a 35mm lens along with other minor accessories which are all well within the described capabilities of the bag . I don't think a bag that is less than 5months old should be deemed useless , however , useless is it exactly what it is . I did notify the seller ( Accessory Genie )and have been informed that they ( the seller Accessory Genie ) only cover the product up to 45 days and thereafter the matter has to be handle by the manufacturer , fair enough , i can't fault the seller . Based on the QUALITY of this product , or LACK THERE OF ; I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAMERA BAG as it is of a POOR QUALITY . Don't take my word for and find out for yourself , but know that after 45 daysit is out of the sellers ( Accessory Genie ) hand .

I bought this product recently and this has enough space for NIKOND5100 camera. This backpack is cheap, small and easy to carry. I therefore, strongly recommend it.

This can not begin to cary as many lenses as I would of wanted. That is my fault though. Just a friendly warning.

Honest reviews on Portable Digital SLR Camera Backpack Sling Bag for Nikon D7100

Wow, this thing is almost pretty much what I needed and didn't know I needed it. I put my D7100 camera (with a 35mm prime lens) on the top compartment, paperwork and stuff on the back side, an extra lens in the main compartment, along with the battery charger, filters etc. I have a 72 inch tripod and although it seems slightly bigger than I'd want (which is purely the tripod's fault and not this backpack's), it still seems to fit OK with two legs instead of three plugged into the fitting created to support the tripod.

This thing basically is big enough to carry all my stuff, but small enough so that I don't try to carry even more unnecessary stuff. In fact, at one point I carried a 55-300 zoom lens and an 80-200 zoom lens to test, in addition to the camera and prime lens on the top.

The point is this thing works for certain setups, it's decent in price, holds what I need, is extremely comfortable, and seems to be of high quality. AND, it has a rain bag cover and chest and waist straps so that no one can grab your pack and run with it while you have it on.

CONS: The only thing I found was that the way the Velcro stuff is rearranged in the main compartment (meant to place your camera body in sideways like the picture) means you can't easily put the camera in with a large zoom lens AND separate the main compartment with the provided section pieces in such a way that the camera body is on the bottom and the zoom lens is towards the center/top section of the main compartment. Luckily my wife had some Velcro strips that has a sticky on the other side. I had to add three Velcro strips to various places in order to separate the main compartment into three sections: the main one for the camera and zoom lens, and the two sides for my filters and such. One star off for this.

I ordered this backpack to bring my Nikon D5100 along when I was skiing.

The backpack just holds the camera, an extra lens (55-200mm), and my flash (SB700), which was perfect for my needs. There is plenty of little pockets to hold SD cards, remote, extra battery, etc, and a couple of KitKats. It is easily adjustable and the waist and torso straps hold it firmly in place during physical activities. It is really clever that the backpack opens three ways for easy access to different accessories. The "mobile phone" pocket is way to small for a modern smartphone, and the dividers are somewhat difficult to adjust to different configurations, but otherwise it is a very good product that I highly recommend.

l bought this so that my wristlet, cell phone, and car keys would be protected while kayaking. Everything fits beautifully. I'll probably change out the carabineer for the wrist strap from an older Pelican case. Other than that, it's PERFECT.

I have a Leica M9 with several lenses. This bag is perfect for traveling with the M9, a couple of lenses, and accessories. It is too small to hold five or six lenses, flash, etc. But if you need a bag for a rangefinder and a couple of lenses, I highly recommend this bag. It is very well constructed and looks great.

Highly recommended.

Perfect for a Leica M9 or other rangefinder camera of similar size!!!

I really love this bag! It is girly, yet functional. I love the outside pockets--it can hold my charger, batteries, filters, etc. the flap has a nice mesh pouch to hold your memory cards so you aren't shuffling around to find them!

I bought the bag because of the supposed amount of room it had inside of the bag, enough to hold two camera bodies, lenses and misc. items. I was only able to fit one body, two lenses, flash diffuser, and flash recycler. this makes it difficult because I need all that gear when on a shoot but don't have enough room for an extra camera body.

This bag is really nice for easy shoots or just a "grab and go bag" if you are going to a smaller outing. But for big jobs I recommend buying the bigger version of this bag

But all in all this is a great bag--great quality and condition--its just a little small for my needs.

Gorgeous looking bag with beige padded lining. The most beautiful camera bag you will find. Was not sure when I got it whether I would keep it as it is as big as an overnight bag and quite heavy with my camera and a couple of lenses inside. However, I haven't seen anything as nice anywhere and am hoping that once used a bit at least the width will dampen down. I think jill-e should release one in exactly the same design but smaller.

I decided to keep this bag anyway as it's exorbitant to post anything back to the US from Australia and I have looked everywhere for something that does the job while being nice to look at and this certainly fits the bill. The padding is very protective and there are removable/adjustable compartments with velcro at the ends.

On the up note, given its size and many compartments you won't need to carry a separate handbag.

This is a stunning camera bag! I have a Canon Mark II with 3 lenses and a flash. This bag fits everything perfectly with space to spare. I love all the pockets and extra places to stick my lens caps or keys while out shooting. If you are looking for a fully functional baglook no further! Invest in a good bag, after allyou have a lot of money invested in the camera equipment!

Honest reviews on Jill-E Medium Suede Camera bag

I really like how well this bag protects my camera & accessories. It is a gorgeous bag and I get lots of compliments on it. Just be aware it is heavy and bulky, which is a necessary evil to protect the equipment it carries. I keep a smaller bag for just the camera and one attached lens, this big bag does the job for travel or if I want to bring multiple lenses and flash.

This bag holds a lot and still it looks and feel small. Delicate, yet not so feminine that my husband can't borrow it.

Reviews of Lowepro Pro Roller Lite 150 AW Digital SLR Camera Bag/Backpack Case

Customer Ratings:

First: no conflicts of interest, no axes to grind. As lenses and bodies and accoutrements get heavier and treks through airports longer than the Wright Brothers flew, purchased this to replace my Lowepro backback. Don't know where to start with the superlatives, but first, it tracks perfectly and has a handle long enough to accommodate my 6 foot plus frame without stooping. Secondly, easily filled it up with lenses, flashes, bodies, etc., but then when I had to get creative, found all sorts of nooks and crannies to fit foreign plugs, etc., and there is a special place for my iPads, both personal and office. Having said that, it is amazingly compact and fits easily above or below on an airplane. Finally, it has handles on all four sides so is easy to grab from any direction. Lowepro thinks of everything, and more so. Even at discount, it's not cheap, but I'm putting it away pending our next trip fully satisfied with my purchase.

HAKUBA USA INC PSTC400 LIGHT STAND CASE Reviews

Customer Ratings:

I actually bought this bag for a fairly large tripod that is easier to carry around with a bag than without it. I gather that what applies to the tripod applies to lightstands as well though.

Well made bag. A nice touch is the velcro divider in the side pouch the pouch is big enough to warrant it. The double zipper design that opens up on one end and goes almost to the other end provides easy access to your gear inside. Protection will be adequate; it's well padded for daily use. But I wouldn't use it to check my tripod for a flight the bag will not protect for abuse by baggage handlers.

A bit disappointing are the straps at the bottom of the bag. The idea is that you can use them to tie down your gear, but the use of camera strap style buckles (as opposed to backpack style quick-releases) baffles me. Every time you want to use the straps you have to weave the one end through the buckle. Was a snap-release that much more expensive for a bag at this price? For this reason I rate this bag with only 4 stars, not 5 because outside that this bag offers tremendous value for money.

For those who want a shorter case, Hakuba makes it, but this one does 2 2214 lightstands, SLIK pro 700 tripod with tall joystick head, plus although a tight fit, a couple of foldup softboxes and umbrellas and their brackets. Fortunately its tough zipper seems able to hold it all in. The shoulder strap is adequate, but not comfy enough to avoid the nice grips. A bit too much gear for one bag but since I need another traveling lightstand, another PSTC400 will even it out, It seems very well-made and -padded. It's only a little more money for this higher level of quality. While there is still an argument for studio strobes, the trend out of the studio, toward lightweight portability and shoe flashes is well-served by protective cases such as this. Recommended.

I purchased this bag to carry light stands AND a tripod and this bag does the job very well. The bag is padded and well constructed with heady duty materials. The zipper is heavy duty. Nothing is cheap about this bag.

It's just the right size and fits in my trunk (Maxima). I shoot weddings and take this bag filled with (2) 10' light stands, (1) Promaster Tripod, (2) 32" umbrellas, (1) light pole, (2) extension cords. There is also a side zippered pocket that holds hardware/brackets. This is a really nice bag for the price and would highly reccomend this one if you want/need to carry several stands/tripod. I could probably fit one more inside if I had to.

Honest reviews on HAKUBA USA INC PSTC400 LIGHT STAND CASE

I was looking for a large bag for my tripod, most other bags are small and not well made. I am able to fit not only my large tripod, on my shoot last week I was also able to fit my camera tripod, 2 light stands, 1 mic stand. That normal would have cost me 3 trips to the car and back. I am very pleased with this bag, fits in the car (side to side) and keeps my fluid heads protected. I will get 1 or maybe two more of these and I love the size and construction top notch for professionals.

This case was better than expected. It is heavy duty and roomy. It is 46 inches long. So it even holds my heavy duty stands. The zippers are heavy duty as well. This is a very good light stand case.

Product works well after you chase the threads and use a thread file to remove the Chrome Plating flash from the thumb screw. That's why I can't give it a 5 star rating. The original and the replacement had the same "out of the box" problem.

The quality control inspector where they manufacturer this product was laid off or something when this product was being made.

Tell me, how many of you have a re-threading die and a thread pitch file? I just so happen to have one because I'm a Machinist. You'll need these items for this product.

This bag was just what I was looking for. Nothing I found locally came close to its convenience and price. I've had it about a month. It is roomy enough for many additional camera items, such as the usual batteries and memory cards, lenses, etc., in addition to my keys and wallet. It has several adjustable interior compartments and outside pockets, substantial construction, and reasonably priced. The sling-bag strap is padded, very convenient and comfortable. I did make a slight alteration to the 2 additional waist security straps. In my opinion, in most normal activity & everyday situations, they were unnecessary and dangled with no way to tuck them away. As constructed they were not removable. I cut them off and sewed clips and D-rings so they could be taken off or added when additional secure fit was needed. Nice bag and I could find nothing locally to compare with it

Comfortable bag for hiking with camera and a few accessories. The extra straps confounded me, though I found they did help relieve some pressure on my back. They fell off mid-hike though, which makes me concerned about the durability. However, it serves its purpose for now and not expensive to replace if necessary.

great for storing a few lenses! easy to carry anywhere though the strap could have been designed to be a little more secure.

Honest reviews on Evecase Professional Digital SLR Sling Camera Bag / Case

I bought this as my "carry everything" bag and it so far fits the bill perfectly. In it I can fit: Sony Nex-6 with kit 15-50 lens, Tamron 35-70 MD zoom lens, Minolta 70-200 MD zoom lens, MD mount adapter, 2-piece macro extension kit, old Vivitar full-size flash, cleaning kit with full-size air bulb, 49mm filter kit (6 filters in pouch), extra lens rear caps and camera body cap, and 2 batteries + wall USB charger + wall direct charger (Wasabi) + USB cable. There is still room for 2 pancake lenses or one mid-zoom lens. The over-the-shoulder carrying position is comfortable and handy especially if you're hiking around all day. There is a small pocket on the shoulder strap (accessible when the main bag is on your back) into which you can fit a battery, a filter, and a memory card. When you need more, just sling the bag down in front of you and it sits level with the zippers on top. Very convenient. The larger external pocket is good for lens cloths and the manual and other flat-ish things, but it doesn't expand much. The only nits the zippers aren't the highest quality (but better than the $8 Zeikos bag I use for smaller outings) and I wish there were a couple of more external pockets. Maybe deduct 1/2 star for that. Overall I'm very happy with the bag.

This is a great bag. Love the adjustable dividers and pocket on the outside. Straps are not well secured--pulled away from bag and had to be repaired within the first week of travel. Would be better if it was more water-resistant/proof for hiking in rainy climates. Really, though, for the price, you can't beat it!

Review of Leica 14867 Neoprene Camera Case with Small Front for M8 Digital

Customer Ratings:

I bought this case for the M9. Perfect fit, even with the Leica strap tucked inside. Great for slipping your Leica into another bag. Unfortunately the velcro on the back is made with the LOUDEST possible material. Somehow you'd think the folks in Solms would know that their M cameras are prized for their stealth and come up with a more discreet closure.

Of course if you have large lenses you might need the case with the large front. An older Summilux 50 fits fine but with shade reversed.

Enjoy!

As the previous reviewer stated, it's a perfect fit, even snug with larger lenses like the 18mm. It's an excellent way to minimally protect a very expensive camera when around your neck or in another bag. It's an inexpensive alternative to a Luigi case, which should be the only other alternative considered if you want protection for your M series cameras and the right fit.

Best Deals for Leica 14867 Neoprene Camera Case with Small Front for M8 Digital

This is a modest, medium-thickness, unlined, molded neoprene shell type "case" that will protect a camera from scratches only. It's not substantial enough to protect the camera from damage resulting from being accidentally dropped or banged against something else. I was trying to avoid spending a couple hundred dollars on a fitted case but I should have spent my $50 on a Lowepro Quick Case 120, which is adequately padded and provides serious protection beyond the level of just scratch prevention. If you want to provide damage protection for your camera, don't bother with this case.

Honest reviews on Leica 14867 Neoprene Camera Case with Small Front for M8 Digital

nothing fancy. fits a little loosely. it protects my M9/50 lux from getting more brassing inside a larger camera bag.

Actually, I use this case for my Leica Digilux 2 (and not for a Leica M8). It does not fit perfectly but it protects very efficiently the camera. There is no other way to obtain that result. Neoprene is soft, light and resistant. Moreover, the camera strap fits very well and can be used together with this case. Conclusion : if you have a Digilux 2 or a Panasonic DMC-LC1, this is the case you need. Its price is a bit on the expensive side but there is no other solution.

I have had the Stealth reporter D400 AW for about a year. Extremely well made and needed another bag. I find the 550 as well made and useful as to 400. This bag easily handels a Canon 100-400 'L' series, 70-200mm 'L' series plus a number of other lenses and a 40D with battery pack.

This is a very rugged equipment bag. It's not a bag to load and carry around all day however. Oh the bags great. But once loaded with quality gear.... it's HEAVY.

For just smaller lenses and camera body, I'd recommend the Lowepro Slingshot. Very handy and easily carries stuff for a day trip. But the Slingshot won't easily carry the larger 'L' series lenses.

The Stealth Reporter line is highly reommended for Pro's and semi-pros for getting equipment to and from a shoot.

This is a nice bag that offers good protection for your gear. That said, be aware that its somewhat cubical shape makes it an awkward carry and sometimes it is a chore to fit into overhead bins in airliners. I find myself wishing that there were more and larger external pockets for small items. The existing pockets are not gussseted very deeply. Again, a nice bag but not something you will want to carry around except for getting to your "basecamp" where you can move the gear into smaller, more portable bags.

An excellent value in a very high quality camera bag! The Stealth provides sufficient flexible storage for a DSLR body, several lenses, and a large asst of accessories. I presently have mine set up to carry a pro DSLR body, two lenses, a couple of strobes, plus many accessories that neatly pack into the many storage compartments. The bag is extremely well made, and even provides excellent protection for your gear in wet weather. I really like the storm-proof zipper at the top that allows for quick access to your gear when there isn't time to open the locking flap and do the full un-zip.

Honest reviews on Lowepro Stealth Reporter D550 AW Camera Bag

I owned the 400 AW but outgrew it.

The 550AW is perfect for my 7D and lenses from the Canon 70 200 f/2.8 IS to my 8mm superwide. All in all I have six lenses and some small stuff.

The design is near perfect and the spacer supplied to seperate lenses when two are stacked in one pocket is wonderful.

The bag, as is the norm for Lowepro, is built of the best material and well sewn. It will protect my gear and yet is not too large to carry. The laptop pocket is so well padded my iPad fits and I do not worry about stress fractures of the face.

I was looking for a soft bag that would hold all my photo gear and this bag fit the bill perfectly. I didn't want a hard bag because they are uncomfortable to carry and can bang into the car when loading and unloading. This holds my two camera bodies and 5 lenses and all the other related stuff like memory cards, filters, adapters, etc. The zippered top entry is really nice and the shoulder strap is comfortable and does not slip. Most of my bags will fall off my shoulder when walking around and this one stays put. Great bag!

It has 2 sections ... one for the speedlite which easily fits my Canon 600EX-RT or my Nikon SB-910, the bottom has a smaller section to fit the diffuser or spare batteries ... this bag is far more useful than the stupid Nikon pouch and far more "carry-friendly" than the Canon one. I was looking for a half case for my X100s, at the time I purchase this case. once I got it, I have been used it like a half case, rather than full case. I do have to take it off when I need to change the battery, but other than that, it is a very comfortable case, not to mention, the brown leather off set the black leather on the camera very well.

As another seller mentioned, the case received is a plain chocolate brown color and not the case pictured. The case received does not have a tripod mount on the bottom and has two snap on both sides of the bottom. Though I would have preferred the rustic brown look of the on pictured, my bigger concern among all the third party cases -that the camera does seat properlywas not an issue.

Because of the low price I wasn't expecting much from this case but I was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The craftsmanship seems good and the fit for my Fuji XF1 is perfect. I purchased the brown because it reminded me of my old Rollei case. It comes with a matching wrist-strap for the camera, which I chose not to use because I have one that's more comfortable.

This isn't thick leather like some of the more expensive cases but I think it's perfect for what it is. An inexpensive attractive bit of protection for a cool little camera.

Honest reviews on MegaGear "Ever Ready" Protective Black Leather Camera Case , Bag

With the case strapped to the belt, the camera is within easy reach. This could however pose a pickpocket risk.

Aside from that, the case fits Fujifilm XF1 very nicely. The case is rigid to give the camera adequate crush protection and interior lining of velvet is gentle to the LCD screen and the camera body. The magnetic flap beats the usual snap.

Well made leather case not announcing it is a camera -so it is at least discreet. Just be careful in a crowd!

On the overall, recommended.
