I was looking for a half case for my X100s, at the time I purchase this case. once I got it, I have been used it like a half case, rather than full case. I do have to take it off when I need to change the battery, but other than that, it is a very comfortable case, not to mention, the brown leather off set the black leather on the camera very well.

As another seller mentioned, the case received is a plain chocolate brown color and not the case pictured. The case received does not have a tripod mount on the bottom and has two snap on both sides of the bottom. Though I would have preferred the rustic brown look of the on pictured, my bigger concern among all the third party cases -that the camera does seat properlywas not an issue.

This was a good time to buy an aftermarket product. The Fuji case is significantly pricier. The case us easy to use, fits the Fuji x100s like a glove and looks great. Would advise everyone to get this, especially if you want to save a few (or lots of) bucks.

The only thing I don't like about this is the straps, because it often slips off of the camera. Other than that, I really like the look of the case. It's not as convenient to use but I have not found another case that was convenient either.

I bought this case instead of the more expensive model, I was really shocked at the quality when it arrived. It fit's my X100s perfectly and looks really good as well. I have the aftermarket lens hood as well from JJC, although the case will not go over the hood itself, it will go over the camera with the filter attached, which is still perfect for me. The case opens quicky and you can go from in the case to shooting in seconds. Overall a great buy, very pleased
