The case works as advertised. The top is a little taller than needed to cover camera, it does not look as nice as the GF3 ones for the 14mm lens that you can get, but this one fits the power zoom X 4-42. The case has no attachment spot for the neck strap. It is well built and should protect camera well.

Usually i dont write too many reviews but this product didnt have many so hopefully this will be helpful.

I received an email after I purchased this saying they did not have a dark brown one. They offered a black one or a refund.

I opted for a black one. It came after about 1 to 2 weeks from china. I guess that is "fast". I actually expected it to take much longer.

I think this is pleather but it looks nice. The case fits the camera well. The front section that covers the lens is a little bit larger than the actual power zoom lens but it's not ridiculously large. The snaps work well... and it's not onerous to partially pop it off to take a photo. The screw on the bottom works well also.

The only negative really is just that you will have to un screw the bottom to take the battery out to charge.

Overall I'm happy with purchase... and I would buy it again. Couldn't find any other case for this camera as well. But know that if you buy larger lenses the case may not fit. Hope this helps. See attached photos.

Quality product and is very close in color to the picture here, unlike the experience of another reviewer. One star is docked, not for what it is and designed for, but for the fact that on the inside of the case you can see where they have outlined the battery compartment to be cut open, but it is not. It fits most smaller size camcorder (which is most of the camcorder these days). If your camcorder is larger than the average (for example Canon HFS10, HFS11, HFS20, HFS21 etc), then you will need a bigger bag. You can also use this bag for the medium size camera (not SLR), but it is too big for a Flip type camcorder or the small/thin pocket camera (and no strap available to secure the equipment so you want use it for something that will fit/snug). This appears to be one of the smallest camera case options for a Lumix LX7 kit bag -one that can carry the camera with some lens attachments and a viewfinder accessory **mounted** on the camera, along with some loose spares (memory, batteries, etc.).

Deep side of the case -Lumix LX7 with FA1 filter adapter, filter, and filter cap or auto lens cap, along with the LVF2 electronic viewfinder mounted on the camera hotshoe, will fit in the deep side of the case, which is nicely padded.

Shallow side of the case -The zippered back pocket of the case is pretty slim, but has plenty of pouches for memory cards, lens filters, batteries-anything flat and thin -the battery charger that's supplied with the LX7 is a bit on the thick side and will just fit... but typical tele/wide/macro lens attachments may not fit.

Case appears very well made, there's plenty of protection due to the EVA structure, and a nice touch is dual zippers on the deep side of the case. So... if you're using an accessorized LX7 (except for attachable adapter lenses) and want to keep almost all of your LX7 stuff together in one compact "grab and go" bag, this works well.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is a beautifully built little case. Every detail shouts "quality" and shows attention to detail down to the little decorative insert in the zipper pull.

The interior has a soft and plush lining, it is well protected on all sides, the zippers are sturdy and smooth, there are individual pockets for two memory cards and an additional zippered compartment for credit cards, id's, a key--whatever. Batteries can be stored in the front compartment in the case of the boxy kind or in the back compartment in the case of AA or AAA. In addition to the carry handle which provides a comfortable grip, it has a carry strap with adjustable length, but it is a smooth knit fabric that does not have a non-slip finish. This is the only design problem I see in an otherwise flawless construction.

For larger, but still small, camcorders (such as my Canon Vixia model) it is much too tight--yes, you can jam it in there and close the zipper, but you end up squeezing the record button and so forth, so it's clearly a bad fit. It's my fault, really. I have a problem with spatial visualization and I "remembered" my camera as being smaller when I ordered. I was so disappointed because it is everything I would want a camcorder bag to be--only smaller. Advice: look at the stated dimensions in the product description and measure your cameras. "Small" comes in different sizes, as I learned.

But I found use for it anyway. I'm using it for my old point and shoot (which is not one of those new flat models that fit anywhere) and it's perfect for taking my grandson to the park. I fit camera, battery, flash cards, asthma inhaler, my driver's license, some cash, and my keys. It's lightweight, sturdy, and downright attractive. I'm going to keep my eyes open to see if they come up with a model about 1" wider and 2" taller.

This camera bag is Ideal for me because it is small enough that it does not get in the way it tight spaces, but is large enough to fit my Nikon d5000, 18/55 lens, 55/200 lens, sb600 speed light, 2x converter lens, wide angle lens,battery grip, all of the cables and charger, my point and shoot camera, lens hood, and have room left. Got this because I finally had to, after buying too many attachments for my Panasonic Lumix. The pack was available at a good price, as these things can get expensive very quickly, especially for names like Tamrac, Thinktank and Lowepro. This same pack made by any of those would cost two to three times as much.

But, one gets what one pays for. A small fishnet pocket just under the front cover tore when I went to stick an extra battery in there. Not good, but not worth returning the pack for that. Pocket is virtually useless otherwise, since too small. I didn't really need it, but it shouldn't have torn like it did.) There's a better pocket on the right side in a separate compartment (that zips) just under the front flap cover and then another larger fishnet pocket on the inside (that also zips) opposite the main interior where the camera, any lenses and so on go. And yeah, dividers are all adjustable or removable if one doesn't need them all. Oddly, there's a strap attached to one of the main dividers for which there seems no use. Maybe someone knows what it's for; I don't.

Otherwise, seems pretty good. It turned out the right size for all my gear, including a wide-angle lens attachment in case, the lens extender necessary for attaching the wide-angle or any filter, the camera in case of course, a special viewing hood (to block screen glare) with loupe and which--in it's own case--is as big as the camera, a Nikon lens cleaning kit (and which I HIGHLY recommend obtaining), and a few other minor items: spare battery, battery charger, 100-page camera manual!, etc.

The pack with very cushy dividers turned out just the right size, not too big and not too small. I got everything in it. Kinda wish there were some tripod straps, but at the price...

If you have a DSLR, this might be a little tight if you also have more than two extra lenses. If so, don't expect to fit a lot more in the pack beyond those items.

Have to see how long it lasts after using for awhile.

The Lowe Pro Roller x200 Camera Bag is a very good bag, handling two cameras and about six lenses with flash unit an charger. Also can hold a lap top up to 17" but I would be more inclined to take a smaller size lap top for weight and possibly a less tight fit. There is more protection for the camera gear than the lap top. Also, it wasn't hard to get the bag to go into back pack mode, that was just to unzip a zipper. The problem is, of going back into the roller case is tough! It's a tight squeeze linning up the two zippers, since the roller case isn't that pliable. Also, there is no padding for the backpack straps as with regular Lowe Pro Camera Bags. Other than that, a good bag to get you on the plane & to your hopefully non hiking destination.

I got this to replace a Tenba carry-on size case. The Tenba had thicker and more overbuilt dividers and zippers. This one on the other hand is just more useful. Laptop pouch is fine for hauling around, but puts the laptop near the outside of the case and more susceptible to bump damage. If you don't use the laptop portion though, it is a very solid case with room for a week or longer photo trip worth of stuff (4 lenses, 2 bodies, 2 flashes) The screw socket in the handle of the case is a great emergency tripod, or more likely an extra mount location for a remote flash! The kickstand is nice, but not horribly stable. There are more pockets in the Tenba, but this case will fit in all airline overhead bins, while the Tenba had trouble on some (MD-80) bins. The backpack portion of the case is removable. It's there if you need it, but frankly I would not want to haul gear using the backpack for long. If you really need to haul it on your back, a dedicated photo backpack will do a more comfortable job.

UPDATE 3/11: A feature I didn't think was all that important turned out to be very valuable. A fright I had was on regional jet (CRJ900) which has smaller than normal overhead compartments. The option to check a bad with thousands of $ of lenses and cameras was not one I wanted to take. So I simply removed the soft inner backpack portion from the hard shell and was able to fit it in an overhead bin. I was going to check the bag itself, but since almost everyone checked their carryon already, there was plenty of room in the overhead bins, and amazingly the hard outer shell ALSO fit in the overhead bin. Both bag parts just barely squeezed in so the backpack in the hard case configuration would not have fit, but separated they did. As a result not only did I have my camera gear with me in carry-on, but I also got to not wait for my checked carryon unlike most people on the flight.

One word...perfect! I'd been lugging my gear around in multiple shoulder bags for a year now. Never could remember what was in what bag. I realized I needed to have a a rolling cart but couldn't see paying a few hundred dollars for it. But, finally broke down and purchased it and I should not have waited so long. The bag is well constructed...take that back, it is a professionally constructed piece of gear. Well thought out, easily customized, and holds a ton of gear actually glad I didn't get the bigger bag since fully loaded this one is just right and any more weight you really should consider not taking that much stuff! Love the case, super tough, you can jump on this thing with little give, still lightweight and priced well. I put my Nikon D3100 along with 2 lenses and a few filters and other accessories in it. The case includes a block of foam that has little perforated grooves making it easier to cut to size to fit whatever you want to put in it. The top or lid has a sort of egg crate foam lining, both foam pieces are tight fits but they can be removed. I love the Desert Tan color, it stands out and is easy to find, which could be good or bad depending on your use.

I would recommend this to anyone with a camera, pistol, or any object of value that could use a little protection.

A GoPro Hero Black edition with waterproof housing on, an external hard drive device (WD Passport), a sony digital camera with it's protective case on, multiple SD and micro SD cards, various GoPro mountsa chest strap and a go pole, all of the cables needed for all three of the devices inside, and all of the chargers needed.

That's a pretty good amount of gear, and it's all cushioned nicely in the foam and completely stable and protected. Easy to get thru airport security too!

Bought this case for my newly acquired Panasonic Lumix ZS-19 since it was relatively cheap and looked like the real deal. I received the case and it looks exactly like pictured. Its exterior is pliable yet rugged enough to have been dropped and still protect your investment. The inside is separated into 4 suede-like drawers that opens up fan-style with the case. Two smaller ones are on the inside of the case with bigger ones on the outer part. The inner drawers are nice for accessories like sd-cards or even credit cards if you wish to bring this case as your wallet.

As for the fit, the camera is snug in either outer drawer with a little wiggle room for some cameras that are slightly bigger. Note that this will fit the ZS-20 as well since these are basically the same camera.

Overall, this case is a great buy for those cameras with similar dimensions and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a case for their ZS-19/20. Looks legit and is listed at a great price.

Even though this case is specifically listed as for the FZ200 and not the V-LUX 2, they are the same camera it's just that the Leica version has the red leica dot & costs about $600.00 more.

I found that the mounting screw for the case to attach to the camera base was about 5mm offset from the hole. I'm in the process of boring the hole in the metal securement plate under the leather to correct this error and "make it work"

I thought that this was possibly an issue with the two different bodies (LUMIX FZ200 & LEICA V-LUX 2) but I tried the case out on a new FZ200 in a camera store and it's the same offset.

Other than that, it's a very nice case.

Sometimes you just don't want to haul around a stocked camera bag, you just want the camera. When I took the Lumix FZ 150 DSLR out on a snowy day I needed something to keep snowflakes and water off the lens and out of the controls on top while I carried it around in a snowstorm. Tossing my scarf over it helped, but I knew that wouldn't help keep lint and dust out of the controls if the camera were anywhere else like buried in a backpack or stowed under a car seat. This cover is a terrific and attractive solution; an elegant alternative to neoprene.

Your camera can be accessed in either of two ways: unsnapping the sides and flipping the front piece over the lens to hang underneath, or unsnapping a single snap on the bottom to flip the front piece back over the top. Once the leather is softened to flexibility, both modes fully expose top controls while providing protection in inclement weather walking around between shots; both modes provide viewfinder access. However, only the side snap release permits access to lcd use and rear controls below the viewfinder. As shown, there is a gap around the strap rings on the camera where the included matching strap may be attached to the camera only. There are no strap attachment rings on the case itself.

Does it fit the FZ150? Yes. Is there a difference in fit between the FZ 150 and FZ 200? Yes. There is a tripod screw on the bottom made to hold the cover to the FZ200 which is slightly offset and unusable for the FZ150. That being said, I didn't find this to be a problem, as the flocked lining holds both cameras in place in a comfortable grip during shooting. As a compromise, I screw the bottom platform of my Opteka wrist strap to the case and carry camera-plus-case that way should they separate. There is, however an included matching leather strap that attaches to the camera only, and a rather nice camera-sized flocked black drawstring bag for the whole assembly. Note that for the FZ150, camera and case cannot be secured as a single unit, and held accordingly.

With the FZ150 snapped inside, I did not find any gap above the hot shoe indicating anything but a secure fit. However, as the picture shows, this is not a dust or water tight case; for down pour it may be wise to invest in an actual rain cover because during actual shooting, camera controls are obviously exposed for use.

As for color, I'm sick of not being able to readily find black items in shadows or dark rooms or inside a backpack. I liked the retro color of the lightest tan, but remember how sweat and oil stain leather in high use areas. In addition, I didn't want to attract attention to my camera when traveling. The compromise was the brown case which is more brown than red than some product photos depict, but light enough to be seen in shadow. If the lightest color is desired, transparent wax for leather could provide stain protection.

Due to overall quality of materials, precise Lumix fit, functionality and professional appearance and price I would highly recommend this MegaGear case to anyone with a Panasonic Lumix FZ model DSLR. Having also purchased MegaGear Professional Shotgun Camcorder/Camera Microphone, I would also recommend the seller, MegaGear to anyone as well.

It is cumbersome to use and I have just left it aside. When it is in place on the camera, I cannot take the screen out to see it, and it is all too big and uncomfortable to use.

I have a similar one for a Nikon P7700 and it is great, surely because the lens is smaller.

its really good. it has limited space as described. it does come with the extra stuff, the band, etc. very efficient.

I bought this for my Canon PowerShot Elph 520 HS, and it's perfect! I love the compact size of the case because it fits neatly into my purse. The extra zip pocket is great for carrying an extra SD card, and the wrist strap makes it convenient to keep track of when not in my purse. I couldn't be more pleased.
