Works well to protect camera LCD of the Nikon D5000. It fits perfectly. The only issue is the glare that sometimes makes it difficult to see the image and the nose and finger prints accumulating on the surface. Cleans off easily though.

I've just put this on my D5000 cameras LCD and it fits just as well as the one on my D90! The D90 ZAGG screen protector comes in two parts, one for the LCD on the back of the camera, and one for the camera settings LCD on top of the camera. The D90 has been in use for 3 years with the screen protectors and neither one shows any signs of wear! Amazing product! I expect the D5000 will perform just as well.

Just like any other ZAGG invisible shield product, this is made from the highest quality products out there. I would rate this to be the best screen protector out on the market and if you value your item, it's the only protector you should buy. You definitely get what you pay for.

I was a bit nervous about this product after reading other reviews but it worked perfectly fine for me.

You have to remember where the buttons are but if you use the camera often, it is almost second nature and I had no difficulty switching to different modes underwater. The buttons did get a bit sticky as I dove deeper (70ft) but I was not sure where it was because of the depth or not.

As Olympus discontinued the underwater housing for this model and you have better options such as strobes if you want to upgrade it further, this is exactly what I needed for the value. Plus the shopping through Amazon was a breeze. The shipment was from California and I got it within a week (I live in Canada).

Attached here is the video I took with the Olympus Stylus Tough 1000 and this housing while diving in Jamaica.

I purchased this case for an upcoming scuba trip to Belize. I found that it worked great and withstood the pressures at 100 feet (the deepest I went with this case). However, I also had my GoPro dive housing on all dives with me and I found the gopro to be much easier to use. Aside from that, the case only had one problem when I mistakenly closed it with a part of the strap in it! My fault!! Also, the case is made so that there is a good amount of air in the housing making it float which is good if you drop it, but not as much fun when it is floating above your head whilst diving! Also, there are so many buttons on the Olympus tough 8000 that you really have to know your camera! The buttons are clustered together, so you have to have skinny fingers and press hard! I knew all of this going into the purchase, and I NEEDED a case for my olympus, therefore, I am quite happy with the housing!

I have not got the item from you till now even though I checked the seller more than one time and he said I must revise the UPS in America and while I'm from Saudi Arabia.

Unfortunately, other sites tested were the better and I expect that I should have closed my accounts while the amount is not returned to me

thank you

I've been using this bag to carry my 17" Macbook Pro for over 6 months now. It's perfect for packing the big laptop, along with the accessories you need to go with it. The Macbook fits snugly into the padded main compartment, and is reasonably protected from normal bumps and bruises. The front pocket easily handles the computer's power supply and mouse, and has pockets for pens, business cards, and a USB flash drive. The two side document pockets won't hold much more than a legal pad when the computer is in the bag, and are open to the weather... no zipper closures.

The bag is very well constructed and features high-quality zippers with nice pulls, and rugged hardware for the shoulder strap. My favorite feature is its light weight... With previous bags, carrying around a 17" laptop was a burden. With this over your shoulder, you hardly know it's there. I bought the red version... It's a nice, classy muted color that doesn't stand out too much.

This bag is perfect if you just need to carry your laptop and a few pages of documents. If you need to carry more, you'll need something bigger.

This is a very compact camera case. It has a zipper compartment that can hold a camera card or a key or money if you need a place to put things while you are walking or out just taking pictures. It is very soft material and the color is beautiful. It is small enough to fit into one's pocket. Love it.

Kata D-Light LighTri-310 Torso-Pack -Black Review

I was looking for a small camera bag to take on an overseas trip with me (to put in the carry-on). It needed to house my:

Olympus PEN E-P3 12.3 MP Live MOS Interchangeable Lens Camera with 14-42mm Zoom Lens (White),

Olympus MSC Lens MSC 40-150mm R f4.0-5.6 for Digital PEN Cameras,

Olympus MCON-P01 Macro Converter, and

A spare battery (STK's Olympus BLS-1 Battery 1800 mAh).

I don't even remember the number of bags I looked at, read reviews for, etc. Somewhere someone mentioned a Kata bag as an alternate choice and so I went to check it out. After reading another set of reviews, looking at the manufacturer's website and the different sizes they offered, I finally settled on the LighTri 310. When it arrived, I could hardly believe that the box UPS delivered contained a camera bag it was just so light-weight and small. Mentally already preparing to have to send it back, I opened the package and was actually surprised by the spacious interior and small footprint this bag offered. Here are my thoughts on the LighTri 310, in no particular order:

PROs:

Extremely light-weight. Before seeing this bag, I thought my Lowepro Rezo 110 AW Camera Bag was not too heavy but the Kata beats it with ease.

Narrow depth. The problem I had with the Lowepro was that it was a bit too deep to comfortably store in my carry-on and be able to also get all the other stuff in that I needed for the trip. The Kata makes this exercise a lot easier.

Bright-colored interior. Things don't get lost and are quickly distinguished from each other.

Good weight distribution. Even fully loaded with all of the above, the bag feels quite comfortable when worn.

Rain cover which covers the front and top of the bag in case of a downpour.

Small exterior pocket is useful for spare batteries and maybe a USB cable (Note: It is too small for the charger unless it is a very compact one with no cable attached).

Sufficient padding while at the same time flexible enough to be squeezed a bit. It is a happy medium between a rigid and a soft bag but more on the soft side.

CONs (not too significant but wanted to mention them anyway):

The one thing that bugs me the most (and is the reason for the 1-star deduction) is that the interior divider cannot be fastened just anywhere inside the bag. Only roughly half the length of the two interior sides is of a material the divider can adhere to. The other half is slick nylon which one cannot fasten the Velcro-d divider to. This interferes with the usability of the bag as cameras with long lenses cannot necessarily be accommodated if one plans to also carry a second lens in the divided compartment. In other words: The camera compartment cannot be made long enough in such instances. When my 40-150 mm lens is attached to the camera, it fits very snug indeed, and the divider is almost not attached anymore because it is forced over to the nylon half of the bag by the length of the lens...

The rain cover is great I just wish it could be stored inside the bag in much the same manner Lowepro stores its rain covers (in a small "flap" on the outside of the bag). As it stands, the Kata cover must be attached via its plastic carabiner to the outside of the LighTri, or inside with/underneath the camera/lenses. Both ways are not too convenient the cover or the camera would get wet before the cover could be attached.

I wish the shoulder strap was at least slightly padded and could be removed. I like to take off shoulder straps when I travel for the simple reason that it is more space-efficient to fold up the strap separately from the bag.

SUMMARY:

Despite the few issues I see with the LighTri, I think it is a great and well-made bag for anyone who is looking to go light and does not want to bring all of their photographic equipment with them. Would buy it again.

I don't like bulky camera bags. I don't carry a lot of gearprefer to be somewhat of a minimalist. I suppose that's why I resisted getting any sort of DSLR until recently. Finally took the plunge and bought a Panasonic GH1. Someday, I will get the 20mm lens, but for now will have fun with the 14-140. So I was looking for a bag which would hold my GH1 with an additional lens in the future and maybe a flash (though when I get the 20mm lens, I probably won't use the flash much).

I was debating between this and the 312wasn't sure from the description if the 310 would be big enough. Well, it definitely is big enough. If fact there a couple ways to fit the camera into the bag, depending on your preference. And there will be plenty of room for the 20mm lens. Plus I could easily fit another battery (if I decide to get one), SD card, etc. It BARELY fits the camera and a flash (with no room for the 20mm), so if you want to carry a flash at all times, I would suggest going bigger.

The strap is nice and lightweight and I've adjusted it so that the fat parts sit on my shoulder with the camera on my back and on my side. I'm guessing the 312 strap would be a bit more comfortable (it looks like it's padded), but I don't mind carrying my minimalist setup all day. The double zipper is nice for quickly taking my camera out, but it takes a bit longer to put it back in. Overall, it's just what I was looking for!

Most camera slings are giant bags that don't work for mirrorless shooters. Thus a compact sling like the Kata LightTri-310 is highly desirable to make the most of the size advantages that mirrorless cameras make possible. Since everyone's requirements vary, I'll state mine clearly: I wanted a sling that keeps both my hands free when I'm not shooting, is waterproof or covered in case I get caught out in the rain, is just big enough for a mirrorless camera (I have a NEX-6), a lens, lens cleaning supplies, and a spare battery. Finally, it had to be high quality, look good, have usable ergonomics, and be durable. I ordered and sent back quite a few bags until I found this little gem.

Since the pros and cons have been covered well in other reviews, I'd just add that this is not for shooters with lots of equipment or complex needs. It is, however, ideal for maximizing the all-day comfort and quality that the mirrorless camera revolution has brought to photogs everywhere. It fits essentials and gets out of the way, and will likely last. Would buy again.

Reviews of Crumpler The Bucket- Medium

Crumpler THE BUCKET Camera Organizer
Customer Ratings: 3.5 stars

What you should know, before ordering this item, is that it is round all around. The bottom is not flat, but curves upwards. Because of this, the inserts don't really fit, and have to be bent out of shape. Even then, they are almost impossible to place.

Also, the bucket is very shallow. If you own any 70-200 zoom or other long lens, you can pretty much forget about fitting it in here.

And then there is the lid. Why oh why would you need the lid? It restricts what you can fit into the bucket, is in the way when you need to access your gear, and adds a lot of bulk to the messenger bag you place it in.

Personally, I couldn't wait to return this thing fast enough.

When I decided not to get a new camera bag, I already know that I couldn't find the perfect replacement. I'd got a Chrome Citizen Messenger, similar to the Crumpler bag in terms of size and shape. I wanted to make good use of my bag and I found a few solutions to it. In the end, I bought this Crumpler Bucket as it satisfied my needs. It's made with no corners, because it's supposed to fit into the inside of the messenger bag. Its dividers can be adjusted freely, but they are not made in perfect shape to compensate the roundness of the bucket. It's well-cushioned all round including all the dividers. When I don't need that many gadgets, I'll just take out the bucket and stored it at home, so I can still use my Chrome bag.

In my opinion, if you are looking for a perfect and professional camera bag, you wouldn't be looking at this. This is almost perfect for people like me, who doesn't need a dedicated camera bag, but sometime would like to have this kind of protection to my camera and stuff.

Best Deals for Crumpler The Bucket- Medium

Got this for my Crumpler Textbook Point. Fits like a glove. Now my Crumpler messenger bag's a camera bag! Size wise it fits a DSLR D90 and 2 Lens with space for another SLR lens or flash.

Honest reviews on Crumpler The Bucket- Medium

I got this a couple of years ago with my first dSLR. My intention was to put in my Vera Bradley tote bag. It didn't fit so it sat on my shelf with camera equipment I wasn't using. Then I finally got a Crumpler Barney messenger bag to use this with.

Most of my equipment fits, an Olympus E-30 with 3 lenses. But my Olympus FL-50r flash is too tall to fit in and not eat up too much space. The zippered top is annoying. It would be better if it could zip off completely or be a thinner material which could fold back easily.

Great bag, the adjustable stap extends enough for me, 6'2". A problem with most bags. Fits my Nikon D5000 with 55-200 zoom, iPad and plenty of extra space. Does a good job with my Sony camcorder as well. Was hoping that the canvas would be lighter, more kaki than dark olive. No big deal.

I use this for when I go on vacation. I pack my camera, lens and audio recording equipment so I can do shorts on the run. Packed to the brim it won't be able to comfortably fit certain laptops, but I like to have a little bit of breathing room for my equipment.

It's worth the purchase. The one thing I wish it had was a separate handle on the top (it would require changing the way the top clips shut too), but it's a minor thing.

I plan on having this for a while.

Packed for my last trip:

T3i body, 50mm prime

h4n

two lavaliers

extra batteries (8AA, 2 cannon, 4 kodak)

Kodak zi8

aa charger

kodak charger

canon charger * 2

2 70 page notebooks

pens and snacks in the side pockets

kindle

ipad (1st gen)

With all of the above (minus the notebooks and the ipad) this will also fit a 15" macbook pro retina (tested with a friend's). Under the same circumstances it will barely fit the 13" macbook (older model) (and not to a point that I was comfortable with, but again, I prefer some breathing room).

Overall excellent buy for me.

Honest reviews on Koolertron Canvas Vintage DSLR SLR Camera Shoulder Case Backpack

I love the bag. It is great looking with loads of space. Problem is that the inside separate waterproof case does not have a top cover as shown. Your camera will be exposed on the top to everything in the bag. I am not returning the bag because I really love it so much, but I was unhappy with the fact the pictures showed an inside that it didn't actually have. I am wondering if the photos are out of date or something. It is basically the same thing except the top part is not there. I would advise buying this bag, but not if that specific reason is why you are purchasing it. It is very good looking and well made though. I am really torn.

I already have and very much like a slightly-larger version of this for my Dell Latitude D620 computer at work, so this was an easy purchase decision. My Eee PC 1000 already came with a similar neoprene case, but a big too big for the computer alone, yet not big enough to also hold the AC adapter and a mouse, plus no way to keep them from scratching the computer if I'd jammed them all in together.

The Caselogic LNEO-10 is just enough smaller to properly fit the 1000, with a separate zipped compartment that can accomodate both the AC adapter and a mouse. Though the result looks a bit lumpy, it works well. I also very much like the handles on the LNEO-10. They are comfortable in use, and easily fold out of the way when not in use.

I picked up one of these cases for my EEE PC 1000h and it fits pretty close to perfectly. The pocket on the side is big enough to hold the power adapter and a mouse. The top handles are more useful than I would have thought, since I intended to mostly carry this case inside a messenger-style bag, but I've found it quite handy to just carry the computer in just this case. The case seems reasonably well padded, probably not enough to protect a laptop from a serious drop but enough to protect it from the occasional bump. The only thing I could ask for would be for a pocket on the other side. I'm pretty satisfied with this case.

Best Deals for Case Logic LNEO-10 Ultraportable Neoprene Notebook and iPad Sleeve

I like the design, it's a pretty tiny case. I bought it following a recomendation for my Lenovo S10 that looks awesome in white color. So what I can not accept at first, is that the red cover inside the sleeve stains the charguer and cables that ARE WHITE. CASE LOGIC MUST HAVE TO CORRECT THIS SITUATION.

If you have a black or dark netbook you'll never realize about the stains, but what if you put a document inside?

Honest reviews on Case Logic LNEO-10 Ultraportable Neoprene Notebook and iPad Sleeve

After trying out several different cases/sleeves for my Toshiba NB205 and being disappointed with each, I stumbled upon this Case Logic Notebook sleeve. It has been an exceptional choice in that it stretches nicely and so will easily accommodate the 6-cell battery which extends out from the back of my netbook. The pocket on the front on the bag is just large enough to squeeze in a mouse and the charging cord for my computer, although it is very "lumpy" when everything is zipped in. It definitely helps to wind up the cord prior to storing it.

One of the nicest features of the bag is the handle. It is a well-built double handle that offers a secure way to carry the computer. This case would be perfect for any of the 10.1" netbooks.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Case Logic LNEO-10 Ultraportable Neoprene Notebook and iPad Sleeve

The Samsung NC10 fits nicely. Not a snug fit by any means, but close enough to keep it from flopping around in the case. The external pocket holds the NC10 power supply, Bluetooth mouse and has room left for two extra batteries, a small USB router and a couple of very small items like a flash drive. The pocket will be misshapen and lumpy, but all your stuff will be in one place.

The carrying handles are soft and easy to hold.

Overall construction is typical Caselogic: very well made.

I have one small lament: no loops for a shoulder strap. My opinion is that all carrying bags should have loops o shoulder straps.

Other than that small item (and it is indeed a lament, not a complaint), the Caselogic LNEO-10 Ultra-Portable Neoprene Notebook Sleeve is an inexpensive, durable and expandable way to carry and protect your netbook.

I was headed to Seattle and worried about getting my new Nikon D7000 might be getting wet if I didn't take some steps to protect it. I chose the satchel style because I saw a video of this style with the demonstrator removing a camera with a long lens attached and room for another lens. I also chose the navy color because I'm a girly girl who didn't care for the other more rustic colors, at least the navy could be slightly fashion forward.

The bag did not disappoint me. I can leave my 15-200mm lens attached so I'm ready for quick shots. I don't have to assemble the camera. There are two little zipper pouches on the outside flap of the bag which are great for extra SD cards, your keys or whatever, they're small but deep. The back of the bag has a large, flat compartment that I used for magazines for my plane ride. Once you lift the flap, you'll find two larger pouches that expand a bit and are great for cords, flash or batteries.

The strap is perfect. I can make it short if I want to carry as a shoulder bag or can quickly make it long to wear across my body. It was easy to carry on vacation and managed to distribute the camera weight nicely. The strap has a rubbery thing in the middle that not only pads the shoulder, it secures the bag to me by being non slip. This was their genius factor.

Inside the bag is a moveable pad. I was able to move it to one side to make room for my camera with attached lens and one more lens. It worried me that there is so little padding so I cut up a piece of foam to pad the bottom a little more since I've been known to quickly drop everything in my arms and was worried about hearing the horrible clunk of camera dropping, This bag stayed closed, stayed on my shoulder and did not look like a typical camera bag. It is expensive but well worth the money to protect my camera investment.

This bag is extremely well made like all Domke bags. Amazon has a good price on this bag compared to other retailers. Straps have a lot of adjustment to carry cross body or off one shoulder. This bag is deep but lays nice against the body.
