The x10's lens cap is neat and all but there is no stock way to attach it to the camera without it looking bad (like normal lens cap keepers)
This offers a classy alternative, it fits wonderfully, looks great and matches the half case i bought from the same manufacturer perfectly.

Ape Case Digital or Small SLR/Mini DVD Case & Accessories Bag AC260 Review
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $39.99

Although it is designed as a camcorder bag, this works very well as a bag for my bridge camera, a Panasonic FZ200. The camera takes up about 2/3 of the interior space, the remaining space can hold a teleconverter lens or anything else like it. The pockets provide more than enough space to carry the charger and extra batteries, memory cards, and a cleaning kit. I am pleased with the construction and material quality, the Ape Case line of bags seems to be of the same high quality as other top-name bags like Tenba and Kata yet the pricing is more reasonable.
Also, I'm tall, and the long shoulder strap on this bag is very nice to have.
Since it is a dark color I will try to remember not to let it sit in the sun to bake the contents. The hooks for the strap are plastic but heavy enough for a camera bag that shouldn't be handled roughly anyway.
I put my new Nikon L100 in it and all is well. If I eventually buy a DSLR then I will consider another bag like this one, time will tell.

This bag is good at maximizing available space in a smaller bag. I use it to hold my film SLR (Canon Rebel 2000, or Canon AE-1 Program) with two lenses, and several rolls of film. All fits well, and there's still more space for additional small accessories. Also, I'm tall, and the long shoulder strap on this bag is very nice to have.

Great bag that is both compact and roomy. It was bought for a Canon Power Shot SX30is. It has a lot of extra space for carrying the memory sticks, charger, etc., without being too big and bulky. The divisions inside can be re-arranged with Velcro to suit fitting the camera and lens, extra batteries, and so on. It has a shoulder strap that helps when both hands are needed, and also a handle. The external fabric is very nice and overall well made.Honest reviews on Ape Case Digital or Small SLR/Mini DVD Case & Accessories Bag AC260
I received this bag just over 1 week ago in a Super Saver order. For the money it seems very good to me. I just now looked it over again and see no loose threads inside or out,the zippers and drawstring work well, and, the velcro all holds securely.Since it is a dark color I will try to remember not to let it sit in the sun to bake the contents. The hooks for the strap are plastic but heavy enough for a camera bag that shouldn't be handled roughly anyway.

This bag had just the right amount of space for my video camera (Canon HF200) plus all of its accessories. Plenty of secure pockets and compartments. This bag held up perfectly during a recent vacation. The camera easily survived everything from roller coaster rides to rainstorms while housed in the bag. The bright interior makes finding the accessories a breeze. Great value.Thursday, January 8, 2015

Cheap Hard Shell Carrying Case (Black) for Olympus Stylus 9000 Digital
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $25.58

This case was OK, I have bought better cases. The shell is good, hard and protective.
The zipper is not the best but works well enough.
There is a net on the inside for batteries and memory cards, but it will let items fall out if it is tipped.
(That kind of defeats the purpose)
The size is pretty good, but could be a little larger so batteries and such are not pressed so hard against the camera.
My daughter's olympus stylus fits OK, other than the net thing.
In the end, for a little more money, there are better cases out there.
Check out case-logic cases. I think you will be happier.

I've been using this bag to carry my 17" Macbook Pro for over 6 months now. It's perfect for packing the big laptop, along with the accessories you need to go with it. The Macbook fits snugly into the padded main compartment, and is reasonably protected from normal bumps and bruises. The front pocket easily handles the computer's power supply and mouse, and has pockets for pens, business cards, and a USB flash drive. The two side document pockets won't hold much more than a legal pad when the computer is in the bag, and are open to the weather... no zipper closures.
The bag is very well constructed and features high-quality zippers with nice pulls, and rugged hardware for the shoulder strap. My favorite feature is its light weight... With previous bags, carrying around a 17" laptop was a burden. With this over your shoulder, you hardly know it's there. I bought the red version... It's a nice, classy muted color that doesn't stand out too much.
This bag is perfect if you just need to carry your laptop and a few pages of documents. If you need to carry more, you'll need something bigger.

I really like this pack, using it for my Canon SX10IS currently. It has lots of room (although if you have a longer lense or big flash they probably wont fit) for both the camera and accessories. Along with the camera I can fit 2-3 packs of AA batteries, several memory cards, an SD card reader, the Nikon Lens Pen cleaning system, and a few other small items.
It's very durable, and the cushy shoulder strap makes it good for longer excursions. I feel very comfortable that my camera is secure and safe inside it (lots of padding). The all-weather cover is also a really nice feature, although you have to detach the shoulder strap in order to put it on, which can be pretty annoying. Also note that you wont be able to access anything in the bag once the weather cover is on.
The little micro-fiber lens cloth inside is also a nice feature to have, as well as the various pockets.
The way it zips up can make it a bit awkward to use at times (especially if you are trying to do it one-handed).
My only other complaint is that the form-factor (essentially a box) can make it kind of awkward and cumbersome as compared to other packs. It sticks out a lot from your body and can feel a bit bulky and uncomfortable since it doesn't always contour very well to your back or side. It's a bit like having a lunch box strapped to you. The padding on it makes this not too much of a problem though and I wouldn't call it a deal breaker. Note that the meshed surface on the back of the bag will mess up some shirts by rubbing against them and causing lots of "pills."
...and a very well made bag too.

I have my EPL-5 in here with the stock zoom lens, a 75-150 zoom, a 45 mm portrait lens, the Olympus FL-14 flash, and it all fits in there tightly, but nicely with room enough for one more pancake lens... the 20 mm lumix would be nice ;-)...and a very well made bag too.

We used this case with our Sony NES7 camera. It was perfect for our European vacation. Had plenty of room, was easy to access the camera. I wore it once with it attached to my belt. We also used the pacSafe anti-theft camera strap to protect ourselves in Rome. Once we were caught in some showers and I quickly pulled the built in rain jacket over the bag and it kept the camera dry!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Lowepro Apex 110 AW Camera Bag
Bag is perfect for my camera, and can hold wallet, phone, keys in a pinch as well as the camera and two spare batteries. This helps when I'm pocket light or hands are full of toddlers but need to get my shizzam safely. Manpurse convenience without the stigma! Seriously appreciating small design issues, like high quality strap connectors, back mesh pocket, multiple clip loops, harder plastic front and bottom for taking bumps and scrapes. . . nice damned bag, actually. Excellent case for the Canon G1X. Nice functionality, good fit as well as adequate protection for the camera. I also like the way the bottom half stays on the camera during use, accentuating the grip and making the camera easier to handle. At a reasonable price, this is a good option for the G1X. Case seems to be well made and is a great value.
However there is one design problem. The case is a 2 piece item and I have to remove the top piece entirely to gain full function of the camera. Which defeats the purpose of a protective case. Besides this I am very pleased with the product
The only downsides that I've seen so far are the fact that the screen lightly rubs agains the base of the case when opening & closing, sometimes not allowing the screen to close all the way (or without bending the case unnecessarily), and the fact that I have to unscrew the base to get to my card and/or battery. This is a mild inconvenience, but, I've gotten in the habit of taking out my cards from all my cameras for archival & transfer purposes. A quick work around is to just plug in the USB cable, but... Lastly, the top of the case feels a little loose on the camera... the base is tight fitting even when not screwed into the camera, but the top moves around a bit too much for my liking.
Either way, I think it was a good purchase.

The camera case fits the camera very well. It has a retro/old school look to it. The only troublesome part is that you need to screw the bottom of the case off complety to remove the battery and the SD card. When taking pictures the top half of the case can be awkward if it stays snapped on; it is easier to take it off completely.Best Deals for MegaGear "Ever Ready" Protective Black Leather Camera Case, Bag
The leather case for Canon G1X fits snug and perfectly. I am very impressed with the fit and finish of the product. The accompanying leather strap is a great addition as well and I like the vintage leather look that it gives in an era where we are so accustomed to seeing synthetic camera cases. The tripod attachment at the bottom of the case is a well thought out idea and works well. I use the tripod a lot and it is very convenient to not have to remove the camera from its case. However there is one design problem. After I upgraded from the Canon G11 to a G1X, I was having trouble finding a small protective case for the somewhat larger new camera. I ordered both a black and a brown "MegaGear Everyready" case and when they arrived I was very pleased with the fit and quality. Reviews of Icon SP111-BLU Small Digital Camera Case (Blue)
This case is very well-constructed and seems to be built to last. It provides only minimal padding, but otherwise is quite functional. I bought it to protect my camera during those times I want to throw it into a jacket pocket, to keep it from getting banged around too much, and it is perfect for that.
The extra pocket is just big enough for an extra battery and a memory card, but nothing larger.
It is a bit tight for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3, which makes getting the camera in and out a slow process, but as I said, I bought it for protection rather than everyday use, such as wearing on a belt. For cameras smaller than mine (which has a lens that sticks out quite a bit) it would work fine for daily use.
I use it with a Canon A1000 and the fit is perfect. Willoughbys service was very fast. I really don't know how they could sell such a nice little item for the price.

Ewa-marine Underwater Camcorder Housing for JVC GR-AX10 Review
The idea is quite simple, and when properly used the video results are great! However since all camcorders that'll fit within this case are so light. You'll need to buy some weights, because otherwise your camcorder will keep wanting to flow back to the surface! So the weights are needed to counter act this problem. Also Alka Sezter is recommended. Placing a few broken chunks near the base of your camcorder, if they start bubbling (very unlikely) it means you've got a leak. While I have no problems recommending this item. I just think buyers should to be told up front first just how much preperation (with weights, focusing, etc), there really is. Most internet companies sell this for around $300.00 and not Amazon's current $574.00! When properly sealed (which is very straight forward) there's no chance of this ever leaking. Its also made in Germany, so its well thought out.

I haven't taken it out for an event yet, but I was able to pack all of my camera gear into the bag.
I had to rip out most of the compartments, but I was able to squeeze in my 50D, 24-70 f/2.8, 70-200 f/4, 50 f/1.4, flash, lens hoods, charger all in the camera compartment. Not much room to spare. The lower portion of the bag is not as usable for equipment, except for stuff that you wouldn't go for often, not too accessible.
The notebook fits a 15" as described with some other compartments for misc camera/laptop accessories.
You do have to completely take off the bag, uncurl the straps around the bag and then unzip for your equipment. Definitely not for accessibility, but your stuff is definitely secure from the random person reaching into your bag. Not many compartments outside the bag, maybe for some paper on the left and right side.
Update: 2012-01-16
I took this on a trip last year overseas and this bag was perfect. Doesn't look like a camera bag so it was definitely inconspicuous. I do have to say that it's inconvenient to open and close on the move, but when on the ground everything is accessible. When i fully packed it with my laptop and camera gear, it was hard to close the bag because it was filled up. It would be nice to have pockets for other stuff, or even a water bottle as reviews have mentioned in other areas. The side pockets are useless, doesn't really fit anything, except paper.

Crumpler makes great bags, I own two this being my second. It easily held all my gear for a trip to Yellowstone last summer (though I did have to remove my battery grip for it to fit). It's very comfortable to wear and I plan on taking it with me to Chicago this summer. The only thing keeping it from earning a fifth star is that when the bag is stuffed to the brim with gear, the side pouches are difficult to get into. Discount Think Tank Hubba Hubba Hiney Large Belt Pack with Multiple
I've been looking for a small bag for my Micro 4/3 kit for a couple of years, and I've tried a lot of bags of different sizes and shapes. Most camera bags are too large, and most courier-style bags are too tall.
The TTP Hubba Hubba Hiney is perfect for what I need. It's just the right size for a Panasonic GH2 with the 12-35/2.8 attached, and two to four other lenses -I have my 20/1.7 and my 45/1.8 stacked, and the 45-200 zoom. I could carry the 7-14 in lieu of the two primes. In the zippered front pocket I have a spare battery and a polarizing filter.
The bag comes with a nice shoulder strap that easily clips to two small loops on the top. The strap has a sliding shoulder pad that is quite sticky on one side, and adjustable for shoulder or bandolier style carry.
This bag is part of the Think Tank modular component system, so it fits on several belts and belt packs. I tried it on my Pro Speed Belt and it works very well not too large, not too small. It would make a good main pouch for a belt system, along with a lens pouch and a flash pouch for a sports photographer or photojournalist. The bag is large enough to hold a couple of larger Canon lenses like the 24-105/4 with the hood extended, and the 35/1.4 with the hood. It's not tall enough for the 70-200 though, even with the hood reversed. The 70-200/4 fits lying down, but takes up most of the inside room. I would use the bag mounted to the belt when I wanted to be a little less conspicuous when traveling.
I do wish it had a built-in waist belt that could hide inside a flap in the back, rather than requiring a large dedicated belt. Also, the two open stretchy mesh pouches on the very front aren't that useful for anything beyond a lens cap anything heavier or more valuable would fall out.
This bag easily fits inside my carry-on computer bag for air travel. In fact, two of these would fit vertically inside the bag, a Mountainsmith computer satchel, meaning I can carry my wife's camera system too.
Overall it's a nice little bag with some good features for a reasonable price. TTP stuff is very well made and I expect it to last a long time.
Using it with a Fuji XE1 and I can get the camera with lens mounted, more lenses and some stuff in easily. Have not worn it for hiking but should be OK.
This is a lightly built piece not heavily padded or with much dimensional support.
To accomplish this purpose I bought the Think Tank Speed Changer V2.0 Multi-Use Belt Pouch (for the camera) and Think Tank Pro Speed Belt Version 2.0 (for the sake of my lower back).
Between the two pouches there is enough room for two ND filters, extra battery, several extra flash cards, and a baseball cap for sunny days. I could easily put a few more small items in the pouches (not lenses), but I don't try to cram things in.
I've been caught in a couple of unexpected downpours and the built-in rain protection worked flawlessly (I got pretty soaked with only a ball cap for protection, but the camera and lenses were completely dry.)
I am delighted with the combination and consider the money well spent.

I own a Lumix GH3 which I pack here with 4 lenses and an external mic! Quite crowded... but they fit! Bag design is nice, comfortable to wear and great for carrying a micro 4/3 system lightly. Highly recommended. AbsolutelyHonest reviews on Think Tank Hubba Hubba Hiney Large Belt Pack with Multiple
As I am aging I find that backpack camera bags are a bit tough on my lower back. I decided to switch to this belt pack with removable dividers, which changes the pressure points and is much easier now that the weight is distributed around my waist and hips. I carry three lenses in this pouch (100mm, 14mm, and 50mm) and carry my camera (5D Mark III) in a second, smaller pouch that I purchased separately. I don't use the strap.

My 4x6 filters fit perfectly and are easily accessible. The fabric interior is soft and will protect the filters very well. Being well designed the unit is compact enough to fit in the side pocket of my photo-pack, Couldn't ask for anything better... Well priced.
A few minor suggestions that would make this item better:
1. While there are 7 slots to store filters, there are only 6 tabs for labels.
2. It would be nice if it had a slot that could be used to insert a business card or other label with the owners name and address information.
3. It would be nice if it had a belt loop so you could wear the valet.
All in all a nice option for storing your filters.

The Clik Elite Square Filter Valet is a very nice option to store your 4x6 filters. It is well made using strong materials and can store up to seven 4x6 filters, each in a separate slot. It takes up about as little space as possible while still providing sufficient protection for your filters (MUCH less space than having each filter in its own pouch.) The filters are easy to access, and easy to identify using the convenient tabs at the top of the slots where you can add your own label.A few minor suggestions that would make this item better:

After what seems like an endless search for a suitable filter holder for large format 100 x 150mm filters, I have finally found the holy grail. This is the one to get, same footprint as the standard filter pouch (as supplied by Lee with each filter) and only twice as thick. Difference being that this holder fits at least 6 filters. This holder fit straight into my camera bag in place of the 2 Lee pouches that were there. The filters are all very well protected by a tough semi rigid outer material, with the inner compartments being lined in a soft material. Each compartment can be custom labelled to suit your setup. I plan to see if this holder can be placed inside the Lowepro S+F 100 pouch. That way the filters will be easily accessed on the move AND be very well protected. Just a shame that it had to be imported as I could not find a supplier in the UK. I bought for £36 delivered from the USA, arrived in a week ! Have seen Amazon displaying it for £28 since, but out of stock presently. Its a no brainer !Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Clik Elite CE725RE Square Filter Valet, Red

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This is a very sturdy and functional camera pouch. It fits my Canon PowerShot SD3500IS 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 3.5-Inch Touch Panel LCD and 5x Ultra Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Pink) very snugly and comfortably. The material that the pouch is built out of is very resilient to scratches and abrasions, and it gives you a good, secure grip when held. The zipper opens almost 3/4 of the way around the pouch, which makes it very easy to get your camera in and out. The sides of the pouch are very sturdy, and I feel like they give my camera enough protection from accidental drops. The pouch is also small enough that it fits in a larger pocket. I've also tried putting an iPhone and a Blackberry in the pouch and they fit in perfectly, which potentially extend the uses of this pouch beyond its original targeted functionality.

Was perfect for my Sony DSC-HX5V. Wonder if it is perfect for the Sony DSC-HX9V? Loved the double-zipper approach. They all should use this.Best Deals for Lowepro Sausalito 20 Camera Pouch (Black)
The Lowepro Sausalito 20 camera pouch provided adequate protection for my camera and was small enough to fit in my pants pocket. However, the material on the outside of the pouch began delaminating from the foam underneath within one year of light use. I suspect many of the positive reviews for this pouch were made before its durability was measured.Honest reviews on Lowepro Sausalito 20 Camera Pouch (Black)

I picked this up a while back when I purchased my Sony WX9 camera. It was a perfect fit for the camera. It fits in my pocket with the camera in it. It is perfect for the point and shoot nature of a point and shoot. It has thick padding for it's size and it has the screen cleaning cloth inside. If you have a camera or like sized device that will fit in this case, by all means, don't hesitate.
