Review of Apecase Digital Camera Case- Choose Size

Something looked familiar about the picture of the gorilla. I took out my camera case which I've been using to carry my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX9V 16.2 MP Exmor R CMOS Digital Still Camera with 16x Optical Zoom G Lens, 3D Sweep Panorama and Full HD 1080/60p Video for more than a year and its the same Ape case! I love this case and its a perfect fit for the HX9V BTW. I look inside the case and it says AC120.

This case is as basic as it gets. It has a flip-on cover with a tough velcro and a belt clip. Its so much easier to get the camera in and out of the case. No zippers to mess with. I think it includes a strap, but for such a small case, I think the strap is useless. It does not have any pockets. Since my hx9v's superb battery lasts so long, I've never felt the need to carry a spare. And nowadays 8GB cards are so cheap, one will rarely run out of space. So, why does a case need to have pockets anymore? Unless the camera is a S100 or S110, LOL. Those tiny cameras eat up batteries like my kid gobbles up all the cookies on a plate.

Since this sellers' product description does not include any numbers other than 'small' and 'medium', which, by the way, are pretty much useless...I can only conclude that the AC120 is the small and AC145 is the medium. If my assumption is right, here are the dimensions from the ape cases website. if these are wrong, someone please let me know and I'll edit it.

Having just bought a new digital camera, I wasn't about to take it out of the house without a good case to protect my investment. I tried on an Apecase AC120 for a test fit. My camera nestled in snugly with velcro holding the cover down tightly, yet the case opens quickly when I want my camera. With the belt loop holding the thickly padded case at my side I don't need to worry about my new camera. A neat feature about the AC120 is the yellow interior. If you've ever tried to put a black camera into a black case at night you'll appreciate this as I do.

Needless to say this camera case came home with me. Now I'm off to buy another AC120. When my daughter compared my new case to the one that came with her new camera she had to have one too.

A great case for the camera, but only the camera. Pictures included show a zippered pouch (the reason I bought it). When I received the case there was no zipper anywhere on the case. Yes I know it does not say it has a zippered pouch, but I was going by the idea that the picture they provided was worth a thousand words.

The case is advertised as being 4" deep and the Canon SX280 is 4.19" long. Price was low enough that I took a chance. Glad I did. But I'd have gladly paid twice as much if it had small pockets on the sides for a battery and a card.

Well made and I like that the belt loop is securely sewn at both ends instead of Velcro at the bottom.
