This bag was bought for me by a family member to compliment my FN SCAR 17s. Might I say first impressions were that this bag was more than I could ever have wanted and for this price tag I would've bought it myself. But enough of that let's get down into the details.
PROS
-As usual BLACKHAWK! delivers with outstanding product quality. No doubt in my mind that this bag will last long enough for me to hand it down to my children some day if that time ever comes.
-Plenty of room for a good length carbine. My SCAR fit really well in it almost like it was made for it.
-Padded upper and lower. On the inside of the bag where the zippers meet there is a thick padding that helps the bag keep it's shape. I set mine up so that the buttpad of my rifle sits firmly against this point. Sure it unbalances the bag a little but when I stand it in my closet with the buttstock down it keeps itself upright really easily.
-Velcro MOLLE style adjustment in the main compartment. On the inside of the main compartment there is MOLLE inspired webbing that allows you to move the velcro loops around to fit the gun ANY WAY YOU CAN IMAGINE. This is a great feature because it makes the bag modular and able to adjust to about any weapons platform.
-Great accessory outside compartment. The exterior compartment is lined with Velcro. Allowing you to put almost any style of mag pouch or anything else in it and then move it around depending on how your rifle is sitting in the main primary pouch.
-Accessories accessories accessories. This bag has a ton of features that aren't really listed that well here. For instance on the top and bottom of the bag there are really well placed metal D rings. One on each corner and one smack in the middle along the top and bottom edges. These could function a multitude of purposes but I mainly use them to strap the single carry shoulder strap onto. I could see me getting another shoulder strap and using this bag like an elongated backpack.
-The bag IS NOT MARKED in any way on the outside. This is key because there is no LOGO on the outside of the bag people will not know what you are carrying inside it. This is KEY for a conceal carry bag because unlike other brands that mark with a logo on the outside this does not. Because I know if I saw a guy carrying ANYTHING made by BLACKHAWK! I would know he was carrying a weapon almost immediately. It is something to think about.
CONS
-The exterior pouch doesn't zip ALL the way open. Yes I know this is petty but the outside pouch doesn't open all the way around. It opens about 3/4 of the way but will not fold over all the way. I don't know if this is a con but it is literally the ONLY thing I could think of as a CON after owning it for about 4 months now and taking it out to the range multiple times.

Product is as advertised in every way. I would wish for more pouches for magazines and other kit. Overall very pleased and will buy more product from Blackhawks through Amazon.
