Cheap Kata Kata DPS Digital Case DC-437

Kata KT DC-437 Digital Case
Customer Ratings: 4.5 stars

I just purchased a Nikon D3200 and was looking for a small camera bag and a camera backpack. The small camera bag is to protect the camera and one or two lens for traveling in the car, etc. and a camera backpack for photo day hikes and traveling. I purchased a few other bags as well as a few sling packs and finally settled on the Kata brand for both items.

The DC 437 is a small size bag, strong comfortable handle, good zippers and zipper pulls, well padded and light weight. My camera fits perfectly with one medium length lens attached and one other lens or a flash unit stored. The interior pockets are fine for extra batteries and memory cards. The padded dividers give you plenty of choices to arrange your gear. Having designed and made leather bags for decades my only change would be to give the two outside pockets a gusset for some width to make them a bit more functional. Everyone's needs are different. This bag is working out fine for protecting my camera with minimal amount of equipment without being obtrusive or looking like a camera bag. Highly recommend.

I like the bag, it's well made. The yellow color inside is nice. However, I have a D40 with the 55-200mm lense and 18-55mm lense and this big is just barely big enough to camera and lenses in there. Otherwise, it's good.

It is exactly what I bought, small, practical and functional. You can fit it in accordance with your convenience. I recommend it.

Honest reviews on Kata Kata DPS Digital Case DC-437

Nice quality bag for a bridge camera or a micro-four-thirds camera like the G1, GH1, etc. It is quite small, though. I ended up taking out the two dividers and using the included rain cover for padding between my Panasonic G1 and extra lens. I also put two filters in the main compartment, and some extra SD cards in one of the two pockets on the inside top flap. Plenty of room in the two end pockets for cleaning cloths/lens pen, remote, and other accessories. I only gave it four stars because the shoulder strap, though well made, is not very comfortable; the shoulder pad is awkward, and the strap is not quite long enough for me (though it is as long as most).

The brown leather looks stylish and it fits my Nikon D3100 perfectly. The detachable design is also very convinient.

It fits for people who don't wanna carry a big lynon bag around when shooting pictures.

This is a wraparound case which secures to the camera via the underbody mounting screw. The portion which covers the lens can be unsnapped to hang free (handy for those times when you have no place to set down the case), or removed entirely, leaving the camera body in a half case.

As stated in the headline, although advertised to work with the 18-55 kit lens, this case will also accommodate the slightly larger 18-105 lens.

This leather camera case is very nice quality. Features snaps to allow removing the top body and lens cover part to come off easily. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Honest reviews on MegaGear "Ever Ready" Dark Brown Leather Camera Case for Nikon

My favorite camera ever was the last in a long line of Nikon manual focus film cameras, the FM3a with a 50mm f1.8 and a form fitting ever-ready case. I took that camera literally everywhere! Since the advent of digital, I've missed the form factor in that old rig...until now. With the D3200, a 35mm F1.8 lens, and this new case, I feel like my old self again! This case is well constructed, probably better than the old Nikon vinyl cases, and has that old-school feel and look. I love it. Don't hesitate, especially at this price!

This camera case was just what I was hoping for. I like the classic look, feel, smell, and ruggedness of leather. My camera is well-protected in it, so I can simply take my camera along at times when I don't want to take my whole bag. It doesn't seem to matter that there is no strap attached, for my camera strap comes out from under the case and is, therefore, easy to keep using. The case is screwed onto the camera at the bottom, so it feels secure. It also makes it easy to unsnap the case when I want to take a picture. The case simply hangs down, still attached but out of the way. (It would be very easy to take it all the way off, too). I am using it with my Nikon D5100, with the 18-55mm lenses attached. It works great, but I wouldn't use it for anything larger. *Added on: After using this case for the first time, on of the bottom snaps broke off. I will be sending it back for a replacement, with hopes that the next one will be better.

We bought this as a second bag for our Canon T1i fitted with 18-200mm lens. The camera fit just right w/ the lens on. The top main flap opens towards you when it's strapped to your waist. That is very convenient when you need access to the camera. There are two adjustable dividers and once you adjust them to accommodate the camera there isn't a lot of room left, but enough room for slimmer items. The front pouch holds smaller items and has a lot of different pockets and such. Beneath the bag is a sleeve that holds the rain cover. We never needed it, but it was nice to have the option and we wished the Clik Elite bookbag had it.

The waist strap has plenty of adjustments to make it as comfortable as possible as the strap and buckle are nice and wide. There is also an included shoulder strap that you are going to eventually need. After you pack the waist pack, it gets very heavy. The bag itself is heavy and once you add your DSLR + lens it is almost unusable as a waist pack. It may just be me, but after 4-5 hours, my back was killing me. Worn facing away from you or on your front side, it is still heavy. Although, when you have it on your front side you can use it as a "shelf" for your hands/ arms.

Once you start using the shoulder strap, it is long enough to use across the chest. It is comfortable, but the pad does shift extremely easy. I was constantly repositioning it into place. We packed it as it was a secondary camera bag. So if you want to do that, be advised that it does not fold flat at all. It is a very robust waist bag and there is no way to force it flat. Just keep that in mind.

We looked around for a compact, easy to use camera bag and we found it in this Clik Elit Trekker.

The advantage of a waist camera bag is that it allows me to carry another backpack to hold other

stuff when hiking with kids. It has ample room to hold a camera and a spare zoom lens, and front

and side pockets for other accessories. Us being non-professional, that's good enough. Its design

allows easy access to the interior of the bag. With both shoulder and waist straps one can

carry it either way, and feels equally snug. Its exterior material is very rugged. A hide-away

cover at the bottom of the bag can be pulled out to cover the bag in rainy weather.

My only complains are: 1) the zipper is rather sticky, and 2) the hide-away cover tends to slip off,

thus 4 stars instead of 5.

I have to say this is a great purchase even it's a little bit more than i would like to pay. I do a lot of outdoor events like hiking and this bag is great for it. I have a nikon D70s, usually carry a zoom lense 70-300mm, and a 18-55mm lense. Both fit in the bag easily and still have some room for other stuff, but not lense. I also do some sports event like boxing, muay thai and it's so easy to move with this bag strap around my waist and has great support. My shoulder won't be tired carry gears round all night for the event.

Honest reviews on Clik Elite Trekker Waist Pack

This bag is probably my favorite bag I've owned (compared to Tamrac 5546, Kata R-103, & Lowepro Slingshot 200). Of course it doesn't hold all of my gear but how often do I need to take everything with me, just about never. I research a lot before I buy anything, I looked at just about every smaller bag the photo bag companies make and I really think I got the best bag for what I wanted. I was looking for a small bag that I could take my body with a lens and an extra lens, some extra accessories, a waist belt AND shoulder strap. The Clik Elite Trekker Waist Pack met all of these wishes and more. On a recent hiking trip I carried my Canon 7D, 10-22 lens, 17-85 lens, and 70-300 lens. Plus a few filters and accessories in the front pocket and still had room for a water bottle and my phone in the other external pockets. And one of the other reasons I wanted a waist pack, I was able to wear it and a hydration backpack at the same time. The only small complaint I have is that with all of my gear in the main pocket my padded neck strap didn't have room to fit. Yep, it's a rough life.

If anyone wants any more info on this bag or my issues with the other bags I've used please feel free to ask.

With only a 70D body and 18-135 lens the pack did not ride well on the hips. With another lens, flash and a few accessories plus water and mono pod it was unbalanced and uncomfortable. It did have ample pockets and storage and seemed well made. Returned with ease -thanks Amazon.

Ideal for smaller SLRs and a couple of lenses and a few accessories. It is not suitable for a pro body like a D4. My D800 with vertical grip won't fit very well.

A standard body SLR, or any mirror-less body will be fine.

The bag itself is very well made and of superior quality, which is just as well, they are not cheap but the quality matches the price.

Fantastic bag. Well constructed. As other site customer reviews have suggested, the bag fits a full frame DSLR with a second lens. For example; I am able to fit a D800 with 50mm f1.4 G & lens hood attached, 70-200mm f2.8, filter pouch that carried two Neutral Density faders, Battery Charger, accessory pouch 6"x3"x2" and rocket air blower all within the main compartment. Ergonomic, compact, pragmatic and excellent aesthetics. Highly recommend this bag!

I'd take the "semi" out of the "semi soft" description. It's way softer than I was expecting but I don't feel like my camera is unprotected while hanging out in my purse. If I was going backpacking or something I might consider a different case although it is light weight

Here's an in depth look at why I chose this holster bag over others...

-CONSTRUCTION-

This bag is very well made, durable stitching and high quality zippers. The top handle is nice and feels solid in your hand.

-PADDING-

Thick padding on the inside and visible yellow inside makes it easy to see your DSLR in low light settings.

-PADDED STRAP-

It comes with a removable, padded strap that has a "grippy" texture that is comfortable to wear. Competitors such as Lowepro Toploader and Tamrac holster bags do not come with a padded strap. This is important especially on long trips since the padded strap will be much more comfortable to have over your shoulder for extended periods of time. Excellent strap, however it could've been a little longer.

-WEATHER COVER-

Great feature. Weather cover folds away into the bottom of the case and is attached to the bag so you won't lose it. The cover doesn't completely cover the side of the bag closest to you but this shouldnt be a problem since it covers the top, front, and sides of the bag.

-SIZE-

Great size. I didn't want something too big and the bag is the perfect size for a DSLR with one lens. Fits great with D90 and kit lens but big enough so that if you want to upgrade your lens, there will be enough room.

-CONS-

No side pockets and front pocket is small. I wish that there were more pockets but it does have a front pocket to store small accessories like a spare battery, lens cloth, or filter. Front pocket does not have too much space but is adequate.

Strap could be a little longer. At max length it goes down to my waist when wore across my shoulder and I'm about 5'10"

5/5 I highly recommend this bag!!

I highly recommend it i am on the go all the time with my equipement and the advantage of this holster is that you can carry it around your neck or into a belt or your harness, if you own one

the top zip cover (that you can open from left or right) helps you to have quick access to the camera. you also have 2 mini pocket into the cover where you can slide memory stick or remote control for your flash. on the front, you also have another zip pocket for additional storage.

the plus of this holster is a quick waterproof cover hidden at the bottom of the holster that you can pull up in a ny second if you get caught into a sudden rain or snow, which is a big plus to protect your quipement against humidity.

it easily fits a SLR body along with a 28/80 lense on it (I use a d3000 Nikon)no piece to build or unbuild ready to shot.

the inside flashy bright yellow is also great with you shot in the dark so you are sure you drop your camera into the bag and not miss it.

it is a no brainer

This is an exceptionally well crafted holster bag. Everything about it screams quality, particularly the padding, zipper seal and inner lining. The integrated rain cover is icing on the cake, and came in handy a few times during a recent month long trip. I've been carrying a Canon T3i plus attached EF-S 15-85mm lens and hood with room to spare, which I use to store my RF remote trigger kit and padded camera strap. Except in the case of a really long lens, you can suspend your camera above the bottom of the bag using the movable (velcro) platform wedges. In my case, I didn't even need to reverse the lens hood, which was really convenient. The front pouch is great for thin items like filters, lens cleaners or extra memory cards. You could probably shove a spare battery in there. The inside of the top flap has two additional pockets sized for memory cards, which is where I put mine. The fact that the top flap opens away from your body was also appreciated. Really, I have nothing bad to say about this bag. At all.

Honest reviews on Ape Case Standard Digital SLR Holster Camera Bag (ACPRO650)

I had eyeballed this bag and the compact plus variant. I thought that I could possibly fit my T3i with an attached lens, plus an additional lens into this bag all at once.

This would allow me the freedom of swapping lenses without having to carry my much larger Amazon DSLR backpack.

By removing the velcro supports I freed up enough space to do what I wanted. I have a 55-250mm zoom lens on my camera, and inside a neoprene pouch is my kit lens (18-55mm).

Any similar sized lens combo should be able to fit just fine!

As far as the quality of the bag it is well made and looks durable. The rain cover is a nice feature! (But I hope I won't ever need it!)

A perfect size of an afternoon's shooting on the go. If you know what you need and don't need to carry a full size gear backpack this is the way to go. Currently it holds a Canon T3 with battery grip w/ a 28-80mm lens with enough room for a 50mm lens in the very bottom. But it will easily fit the T3 body with the 75-300mm lens I know I tried it out.

A padded handle on the top, a belt loop on the back and hooks for included neck/shoulder strap are your carrying options.

Inside is well padded in a bright vibrant yellow w/velcro adjustable camera body supports. On the interior top flap there is storage for memory cards and on the exterior a front vertical zipper for whatnot.

The construction seems very durable with a water repellent fabric, metal zipper pulls w/tags, and quality stitching. And as an added benefit on the rear by the botton is small area with velcro closure inside is an attached rain cover.

Very happy with this purchase.

The advantage of this backpack over standard camera gear bags is that it is much more discreet and doesn't attract unwanted attention. It easily and securely holds my Canon T3,2 lenses, extra battery, with room for more items. The only disadvantage is that it has to be held horizontally to access all the items stored, which is a minor incovenience in my opinion.

I bought this case after thinking about how I use my camera. I normaly don't carry my camera in a case while on site. I decided that the CHEAPER hard case would protect my camera better (than a soft case) when I stow it in the trunk.

So far the case has worked very well. I like the way you can "build" the inside to meet your qualifications. The only con is they don't give you enough instruction on this build. With a few trials I was able to "build" the inside of the case, but some guidence would have been very helpful. Bottom line is it's a nice case and I have no doubt it will protect my camera and accessories better than a soft case.

I've read the reviews on this case prior to my purchase but I thought I would give it a try since the price was right and I needed something to carry my equipment in one container.

After much trial and error, I was able to fit the various lens bodies in the case and other equipment but not the camera itself. That's okay since I usually like to carry the camera separately in its own hard leather case.

I felt for convenience it suited my purpose since this hard case would not be practical for field photography.

I recommend this case if you are to store or stow your misc. equipment just to have it all together.

Only the handle and edge trimming on this case are made of aluminum. The top, bottom, and sides are made of cheap fiberboard. However, the case did work fine until I happened to lean on the top of it with my elbow. It then promptly collapsed.

Review of Black Slim Devil (Wide Angle Lens) Camera

Black Slim Devil Camera
Customer Ratings: 4.5 stars

This camera is as straightforward as it gets. A clone of the Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim, which is now going for rather absurd amounts on ebay, it is a no-control, pop-your-film-in-and-shoot piece of plastic. I purchased it because I heard it called the "poor man's LC-A." I am poor, and would love an LC-A, so there you have it.

One thing to note is that the rubberized finish on these Superheadz models is not very durable. After a couple weeks in my purse, the corners are already shiny black plastic where the coating has rubbed off.

Other than that, expect a cheapo plastic camera built for fun, and you will not be disappointed!

I have been enjoying this little thing. I cannot wait to get my film developed!

Be careful, though!

I wouldn't suggest using any more exposures than 24 because the stress on the film advance can break easily.

I gave it 4 stars because I've already seen some wear-and-tear (the material is peeling off) on the camera and it's only been 2 weeks.

Best Deals for Black Slim Devil (Wide Angle Lens) Camera

I received this as a gift. Probably one of the best I've ever gotten! It's great for beginners or anyone interested in film. I always get great colors and vignetting. Just be warned: make sure your fingers are out of the way! Probably 1/4th of all my pictures catch my finger tips too... sigh. Viewfinder isn't completely accurate.

Honest reviews on Black Slim Devil (Wide Angle Lens) Camera

I received the Black Slim Devil today and shot a few test rolls of Kodak UltraMax 400, then ran them over to Costco's for processing and scanning to DVD. The first roll I shot was inside with very poor results. NOTE TO SELF: In the future avoid dimly lit locations. Only 5 images were salvageable. The remaining two rolls were shot outside with outstanding results; vivid colors, modest vignetting, great wide angles, and oddly creative closeups. Be mindful of your finger placement. Half of the images have one or more of my digits in them and even some of those are keepers. I prefer the images from this toy camera over those I've shot with the Holga HL-C lens I've use on my old Canon 20D.
