Gariz uses high quality leather in the manufacture of their camera cases. This half case works well and is well-secured by a strong bolt and bottom platform that increases the height of the camera by about a 3/8 of an inch. For complete camera protection, you'll need to order the top cover separately which attaches to this piece. I have both and am very pleased with the look and feel.

I love the fit and fell as well as retro style. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because you can't connect the camera directly to the computer with he case on. Not enough of an opening cut into the case. You will need to remove the card and use a card reader instead.

To be honest, it is a nice case. Fits well, and some nice features such as the easy-screw ring on the bottom. But these are not revolutionary features. For a piece of leather with a metal bottom, this is grossly overpriced. I will likely be returning it.
