I did do some research as to the size of my camera and the dimensions of this case, I was a little worried it would be a little too small but it wasn't, it fits perfectly. The slit inside the case is great to keep my extra SD cards. There is no strap or opening in the case to allow your camera strap to hang out of, but I just zipped the case to a point as to leave the strap hanging out and it works just as well.
I could probably drop my camera from 10 feet and not worry about the camera because the hard case is very solid and the elastic strap inside keeps the camera in place. I am very happy with this case and I recommend it to anyone with the same camera I have or smaller. Anything bigger probably will not work with this case.
