I purchased the Slim version and while it is smaller than the non-Slim version, I was disappointed by the exposed bolt in the interior of the case that holds the carabiner on the outside. In the case's interior, the corrugated bolt is exposed and not covered or padded, allowing it to scrape against the camera and potentially cause scratches. Definitely a design flaw in my opinion, as a case is supposed to protect your precious camera, not cause harm to it.

This 'Slim Version Kroo' is definately absolutely cannot be made for Canon Powershot because this thing is like a dinosaurs compare to my canon powershot SD890 and SD780! I got it in green and the color is nice but that's about it. Anyways I won't be using it because I'm embarrassed. The case is so freaking big compare to my camera that I mind as well have it toss around in my purse. WASTE OF MONEY!!!

This case has made it through some pretty gnarly road trips. My canon digital camera is protected by the hard case. Love the little velcro belt that is inside as well as the pocket. The screen protector kit was a nice added bonus. It was not hard to figure out at all.
