I bought this because I wanted a sturdy case for my DSLR for storage or travel (as in: inside the trunk/boot of the car or inside a suitcase). I didn't have a serious need for a great case, so the cheap price of this one fit the bill. As I said, if I had been in serious need of a real hard-case, this wouldn't be it.

The construction of the case is cheap, but not so cheap its unusable. Rather, it's cheap in the sense that the materials are cheap, but it holds up fairly well. I don't count this a flaw, since for the price what would you expect?

Inside the case it gets better. The interior has a decent foam interior with a "punch-out" grid so you can customize the foam to fit whatever you want to put inside. You also get a set of hard dividers with rubber padding. I got my DSLR body, standard zoom lens, external flash, and a few other things into the box with foam around everything. Didn't need or use the hard dividers, but it is nice to have them. There's also a foam panel/sheet about half an inch thick that lays over top of everything if you want extra padding against the lid.

I'm not sure I would trust the carrying strap to hold up, but there is one and for light use its fine. Don't be fooled by the "locks" they're just cheap luggage-style locks and mine didn't work (little stamped keys didn't even fit).

So, for what it is: a dirt-cheap hard case, it does well enough. If you're a pro who wants something that'll hold up on its own in airports or you can dance on, this isn't it. If you just want a case to put your camera/etc in when storing it or doing light travel, it's good.

Very decent case for a beginner which I am no complaints and it adds some security. Its very easy to shape to a snug fit
