I have the Nikon d7000 with a 55 300 mm lens. Really isn't big enough for the camera even though they said it would take a lens up to 8" that is not really true. Just received today and I have stretched it out so I can close it, but it is not a great/easy fit. I have looked extensively and this is the biggest neoprene sleeve I could find. Just returning another Flexarmour sleeve that was supposed to fit and did not and started tearing as soon as I put it on first day.

I use the Fotodiox sleeve for transporting my Nikon D300s with battery grip. It fits well, is easy to use and provides a layer of protection when placing the camera in a bag with other equipment. What more can I say?

I order the cover to use on my Nikon D5200 with a added Neewer Pro Battery Grip. It fits the camera with my Nikkor 55-300 Lens perfectly. I am very happy with the purchase.

I purchased this sleeve with fingers crosed that it would cover my new Nikon D600 with grip attached....and it does!! I'm so impressed!! Now I don't have to worry about scratches, dust or bumps when I carry it in my purse. I didn't have to stretch it too much like some reviews say. I have my 50mm on the camera but the sleeve looks like it could handle an 18-55 or 85 just fine, but probably nothing longer than that. I'm going to purchase a couple more for friends. Even if you have a good camera bag, this is just a little added insulation/protection from the outside elements. Because of the way it wraps around the camera, you can keep your neck or wrist strap attached. If you turn the camera upside down you could still use the straps that go in the tripod mount (like Black Rapid). Works for me! Happy Happy!

it works great. i use it when i had to carry it on my backpack on a recent expedition. Its pretty thick as well but i have to stretch out the velcro parts out a lot before i put it on my d7000 with grip and 18-105mm lens attach. I stretch it first then put the camera in it because I'm afraid to brake the camera while stretching it. ones you velcro it it will stay close but when you take it out, you have to stretch it out AGAIN. it stays original size which some people might find better with there cameras
