This is a well made compact case which is perfect for a Canon Elph camera. It protects the camera, holds a spare battery or chip and is certainly priced right.Best Deals for Tamrac Neo's Digital 3 Slim Digital Camera Bag (Blue)
My Sony T100 digital camera just fits in the case. It is very functional and looks great.Honest reviews on Tamrac Neo's Digital 3 Slim Digital Camera Bag (Blue)
The Neoprene construction allows the case to expand/stretch to accomodate various sizes of point & shoot pocket cameras. So far, so good, if your camera fits comfortably and not tight. The optiona to have a strap around your neck or have the pouch on your belt are good. The belt strap can adjust to several belt widths. I rate it with 3 stars because the pouch for an extra battery or memory card has too little depth and too little protection for a battery or a memory card compared to past Tamrac pouches. I carry an extra battery, no extra memory card, in the case. I have tried this case with Casio, Nikon, and Olympus cameras. While the cameras fit fine, the pocket for the battery does not fully enclose the battery and because of the elasticity of Neoprene, pushes the battery upward. I suspect that with enough handling of the pouch to access the camera that the battery could pop out a loss that users won't discover until they need the battery. Neoprene may offer Tamrac a cheaper cover option than those of the past or the flexibility for a pouch to handle more cameras, so using the material is understandable. The underdesign cited above renders the product much less than excellent.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Tamrac Neo's Digital 3 Slim Digital Camera Bag (Blue)
This review was written by Sleepy Jim's partner in photography because the bag was a gift, along with the camera. We purchased this Tamrac Neo Digital 3 Slim Digital Camera Bag for a new camera: a Canon PowerShot SD880 IS Digital ELPH. It fits this camera perfectly. The stretchy neoprene holds the camera snugly and gently. The bag's strap is detachable, and there is tiny pocket under the front flap that holds an extra cf card. The back of the case has a velcro loop that is designed to attach to the strap of a larger Tamrac camera bag.We find that the construction of this case offers extra protection for the camera. This feature isn't immediately obvious, but it's a crucial part of its function. The stitched sides are in essence protective flanges, and the padded flap cover on the front along with the velcro attachment loop on the back offer additional protection from bumps and crunches. I've used the long thin adjustable shoulder strap to attach the bag to my carry-all shoulder bag that I use for all purposes -going to the gym and the library. When the little camera bag is attached to the larger bag, it can't get lost, fall out, or become easily snatched by the grubby fingers of a pick-pocket. By the way, the larger bag that provides a safe haven for the little Tamrac bag is made by Tom Bihn and it holds lots of smaller zippered bags full of goodies like wallets and ipods and a cell phone and sunglasses. The little camera floats about in its protective Tamrac neoprene sleeve with books on American history and a padlock and a stainless steel water bottle. I recommend the Tamrac bag very highly for yet another reason: it fits in a jacket pocket and lets the camera play the role of a sneaky accomplice -snapping shots of whatever, whenever!
