Cheap Scansnap S1100 Carrying Case

This is a very good case for the Scansnap S1100. I was a little concerned about the fairly high price until the item arrived and I could get a first-hand look. This is much more than simply a carrying case. There is an opening for the USB cable connection and a Velcro "flip up" closure allows you to use the scanner without removing it from the case. Right now it's sitting on the back corner of my desk plugged in to the computer. To scan something, I simply slide it in front of me, flip open the Velcro and scan away. The case keeps dust out of the scanner and when it's time to travel ... I goes right into the notebook case.

Incredibly helpful to protect the SS 1100 on the go. Features direct access the SS connecting port so you do not have to remove it from the carrying case to use it. Carrying case also holds the SS cable.

I was looking for a way to protect my ScanSnap 1100 so that I could carry it with me in my bag. Read the reviews of this case which said it was good, despite looking at the picture and thinking that it didn't look like what I wanted. When the case arrived, however, it is not anything like the picture. The scanner fits perfectly inside of it and you can use the scanner without removing it from the case. Very sturdy and well designed. Paid a little more than I want to, but it was worth it.

This case fits the Scansnap S1100 scanner perfectly, and it's designed such that the scanner doesn't need to be removed in order to use it. There's a space for the cable in back, and a tiny door on the left-hand side of the case for attaching the USB cable.

The case is well worth it, because I now have a durable container for putting into my briefcase when traveling, and that container includes the cable. That makes it easy to scan receipts and other paper documents while I'm away from my desk.
