I ordered this case on a Monday and received it Wednesday. Talk about super service! Just an awesome case in general. Great quality, sturdy, lot of space, adjustable dividers, lots of pockets, and has a compartment for a laptop up to 17'' (don't know why people are bitching about it having a laptop compartmentif you don't have a laptop to put in there, then use that space for something else. I store my handheld and shotgun mic and some cables in that compartment, personally). I have a Panasonic DVC-80 video camera with three batteries, charger, headphones, and an AC adapter all stored in the main compartment. I also have some manuals, batteries, and various other items stored within the many pockets and pouches. Good sturdy shoulder strap with a great non-slip pad that feels great on the shoulder, and comfortable handles to boot. Fits my needs perfectly, and would buy from Ape Case again. I'd recommend this to others.

This case is much better than I ever expected. The arrangement is perfect for my needs and the yellow interior makes it easy to find things. I purchased this case to carry a Viewsonic projector, a set of small speakers and a laptop for college presentations. It holds everything perfectly. Quality and padding are also better than expected. Very happy with this purchase. May buy another for my digital camera equipment.Best Deals for Ape Case Pro Digital SLR and Video Camera Luggage Case (ACPRO1600)
This is largest, most flexible camera case that I have ever seen. And oh, did I mention that it is much more affordable than most professional grade cases? The padding system is extremely flexible, and easy to adjust. All of my equipment is cradled and well protected. It even has a padded pc storage area for on-site digital analysis. I did a lot of research prior to this purchase, and I saw nothing else on the market that even came close to this case. i bought this bag about 6 months ago. i carry it back and forth from home to work...everything is great but the fake leather pad that wraps around the handles tore and came off. i would think that at this price for a bag, they would have used leather or a better material. rest of the bag is great. i have not abused this bag in no way.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Ape Case Pro Digital SLR and Video Camera Luggage Case (ACPRO1600)
I use this bag to hold a Nikon D5100, 6 lenses, a Zoom H4n, two wireless mics, 2 shotgun mics, all the chords, all the adapters, and I use it often.I would not trade this bag for any of the over-priced options that I was considering.
Cons There could be some more possible customizations with more/different Velcro inserts. The strap that Velcros from the laptop section to the main compartment won't stay out of the way when you move it. It could use a bit of Velcro on its top and a corresponding piece on the outside of the bag to secure it when you are needing to access the area that it spans. However, I use that area for sound equipment instead of a laptop; most people won't need to go in and out as much. The logo would be better off as a two-tone yellow and black to match the bag (yeah, I'm that petty), the dark orange seems out of place.
Pros The amount of gear it holds and the system you can develop to compartmentalize your stuff is amazing. The strap allows you to shoulder the load well. Mine is supporting what seems to be 20 25 pounds. There is no visible wear at the strap's contact points. I got what I wanted in the dual zipper opening. There is a handy business card holder inside the top flap, I use it and it is very accessible. There is also an elongated pouch up top for my most important chords (camera-data chord and video to monitor chord). There is a couple of pouches, one at either end. The forward facing pouch is a generous netting that keeps small accessories that you will access often and need rapidly. The other is a zippered pouch that offers an item a bit more privacy while still being readily available.
The bottom is holding together, the corners are holding together, the color is still sharp, the zippers all still work, and the sewing is still secure (no frays). I really doubted this purchase when I was looking around; ultimately the low price convinced me to choose. I am very, very proud of this bag and happy with the duty that it has pulled. I highly recommend this product, regardless of its affordability.
