I purchased this case to carry around my Nikon CoolPix P510 camera when I want to just grab that camera and travel about. I have several digital and film cameras and I wanted to be able to grab the CoolPix when I want to take a light-weight general purpose camera. The camera fits into this bag very nicely (with the shoulder strap on the camera) and the compartment is very well padded to protect the camera. On the reverse side of the bag is a storage compartment that easily holds a recharger w/cigarette plug cord, three spare batteries, two spare SD cards and a spare lens cover. The bag is well made and has a shoulder strap that can be slung over your shoulder, or you can wrap it around your waist. For the money, I highly recommend this bag for this particular camera for a "grab it and go" bag!
