The case shown in the main product listing protects the screen too, but the actual product does not. (The other pictures kind of show this if you look very carefully but are not super clear). Can't really complain for the price (same thing at A**le store is $25) but I wanted screen protection. If you don't want screen protection, then this is a great deal. Fits the Nano perfectly.

I previously ordered the case for the 4th generation by mistake and had to re order. This case is awesome, it does it's job! The only thing I wish it did have is something to cover the thing that you use to adjust the volume & go from one song to the next, but other than that it's a great case. Also, it's not difficult to lock it, fingers can fit in there and whatnot.
