Shield is flexible plastic probably provides good protection but flexibility and installation procedure (using a liquid spray) make it very difficult (maybe impossible) to get an "invisible" application. I've installed many screen protectors (mostly made by Boxwave) and have been quite happy with the appearance and protection offered. This pliable plastic material doesn't lay as flat and sticks very aggressively. When I tried to lift the shield to remove a bubble near the edge it stretched out and didn't fit properly after that. Perhaps this material is better suited to wrapping curved and irregular surfaces; I'm sticking with Boxwave for flat LCD protection.
