I loved my Cinebags CB-30 Camera Daddy bag, so when I bought this Skinny Jimmy, expectations were high. And it is a good, tough bag that should last a long time. But for all the good design elements, there are 2 glaring things I can't believe they overlooked:
1. The divider sizes that come with the bag don't make any sense at all. I have tried them all the ways I could think of and I still can't make maximum efficient use of the space inside. For example, there is one divider that is so large the only way it fits into the bag is to run the entire length of the bag. But if you do that, then there is not enough room on either side of the divider to put any camera OR lens. The other dividers are not the right size to provide tight compartments needed to carry lenses separated from each other. So the only real way to use the long divider is to bend it in a very strange way where part of it overlaps with the inside wall of the bag, providing redundant protection. This is a massive waste of space. Then the other dividers have to be used in such a way that if you put multiple lenses and a flash in with the camera, they absolutely must rub against each other or else they won't fit. You can't pad them. With some messing around, I was able to fit my Canon 1dx, flash, 50mm lens, and 70-200mm lens in the bag with good enough protection (the 70-200 is padded from the others, but I had to bend the dividers in a very bizarre way to accomplish this) however the flash and 50mm lens will rub and there is no way around this except to use a cloth.
2. The front pouch is great... but did they have to design it to where the zipper teeth are GUARANTEED to bite into the nylon trim, causing it to fray and therefore get stuck in the teeth making it VERY DIFFICULT to zip and unzip the pouch quickly??? And this happened with very little use, without even taking the bag out on any outside work. Just a couple months inside using it as storage. Eventually this got so annoying that I took a long strip of clear packing tape and TAPED DOWN the frayed nylon so that it would be impossible to catch on the zipper. This worked well, but makes the inside look needlessly ghetto.
Ok, so as frustrating as those 2 things were when I first bought the bag, I did eventually solve them which is why I still use the bag every day and don't complain too much anymore. Still, I would appreciate it if Cinebags would send me some different dividers of different sizes that make more sense. Smaller the better.

UPDATE: Cinebags saw my review and made things right by exchanging the bag for a new one and also sending me a lot of extra dividers. Thank you!

I have other Cinebags products and have been veyr satisfied with previous purchases. Unfortunately, this product did not measure up, literally. The reason for the two stars are because the dimensions listed on Amazon, and on the Cinebags website are not correct. The interior dimensions for this product are actually 15-3/8" x 7-1/2" x 6-5/8" It wouldn't seem like a big deal but I purchased this for a specific piece of equipment and it simply does not fit. If you need it for a specific item, I recommend measuring closely. This one is going back.
Otherwise the quality is good, as I've come to expect from Cinebags. I just wish their information was accurate.
