There's not alot of reviews available for this product. I specifically wanted to know if my D800 would fit with my 28-300 lens attached. It's a perfect fit. The bag is good quality (it should be for the price I paid) and it seems to be a nice accessory for my D800. For a camera that costs $3000, you definitely need something that protects the camera and at the same time is convenient to carry.

I chose to get the 24-70 lens with my D800 and wanted to get this case as well. The 24-70 is a pretty long lens (physically, not functionally) and I found conflicting information about whether or not the pair would fit. So I decided to order the case and see for myself.

In my opinion, the D800 with the 24-70 lens attached will not fit. There is velcro on the front of the case and on the flap. The velcro pads will barely make contact if you pull the flap down, but won't overlap 100% as they should and will eventually get pulled loose by the camera strap as you walk around.

I ended up returning the 24-70 for unrelated reasons and got the 24-120 instead. The D800 with the 24-120 lens fits perfectly in the case, as if the case were designed specifically for this combination.

Also, another reviewer said the "quality was "OK for fake leather" but it's made of real leather as far as I can tell, and the quality is definitely better than "OK."

I held off purchasing this case because a Nikon chart indicated it would not fit the D800 with my Nikon 105mm f2.8 VR Lens.

It fits perfectly even with a UV filter installed on the lens and the rubber bumper inside the case.

Although the case cost me somewhat more than any previous Nikon case I'd say it's definitely worth the price to protect a $3000 camera.

it perfectly fit my D800 with Sigam 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM mounted and the quality is very good but a little more pricy than its quality .

This really works out well. I think worth the price tag... it's lightweight and really well made. The D800 plus lens fits like a glove. This should last me a good long time.
