This bag is well made but it is way too big and cumbersome for me. I am a tall medium-frame woman but when I loaded all my gear in the lower section and tried to wear the pack for even a few minutes around the house it felt very bottom heavy and the shoulder harness kept pulling me backwards. No amount of adjusting would keep it in a comfortable position even with the waist strap on. The top compartment is spacious and I could definitely put a great deal of extra goodies up there.

The harness and waistbelt system is bothersome to me. There is no place to stow all those straps when not in use so I am afraid that if I try to carry it on a plane or even stow it in the car that they will be dragging and hanging on things. Also the bag is listed as carry-on compatible but you will see a disclaimer which says that the top portion needs to be squished down to make it so. I understand the Tamrac Extreme series which is much more expensive offers an option to stow the harness. I am considering the 777 which gets good reviews.

The quality of the bag is good but I gave it a 3 because I think that for the money it could have a few more pro details. I would not hesitate to buy another Tamrac product. Especially like the MAS and SAS system.

I do video production for a living, and I'm always traveling. This bag has been all over the world with me, and it's still in fantastic shape. The quality is top notch, and it has an amazing amount of space. The fabric, the zipper, the buckles...it's all held up.

When I go on trips I can easily fit a:

-Laptop,

-DSLR

-Kit lens

-Extra lens

-H4N

-Lav Mics

-Laptop cables

-External Hard Drive

-Memory cards

-Batteries

With ease. The bag is a little big--almost outside carry-on size--but it's usually okay. I've had some airlines complain, I had to stow it once, but mostly I arrive to board my flight early (attendants usually only get angry when there's no space left).

Here's the bottom line: I've seen people complain in reviews about this bag being too big, or dimensions being too small. That's no reason to give a bag a bad review. Do your research! All of the dimensions are listed out above. If you're only 5'4", it's probably not a great idea to buy a bag that's 25" long.

I'm 5'11", and this bag fits me great. Yes, the bag is huge, but that's what I need! And if it's what you're looking for, don't look any farther.

Well made and it certainly does the job but it's definitely bigger than I had anticipated. Simply just too intrusive as a day pack in my opinion and it is not my choice as such.

I pack it up for my weekend photo trips but I also bring a smaller pack to break out my gear for each days local jaunts with my cameras.

Would I buy it again ? No, but not because of quality...it's just too big for jaunting along the beaten path which is where I spend most of my time. If however I were hiking along a deep trail to do some shooting in a hidden valley, I would definitely shoulder it up in a heart beat and be very happy I had it ! It would not let me down for that type of use.

Honest reviews on Tamrac 5550 Adventure 10 Photo/Laptop Backpack -Gray/Black

While the Adventure 10 is certainly up to Tamrac construction quality, the bag design is certainly not worth about $170. The lower compartment purports to be tall enough for a long lense mounted on a camera body. My Canon 40D and the Canon 100-400mm zoom combination fits only if the lense hood is removed. So, I won't have a camera immediately ready. Had Tamrac gone another 1-2 inches, things in the camera department would have been perfect.

The top compartment is real disappointing. No place to hook keys, no places for pencils or a notepad. No internal zip compartment to hold valuables like wallet and travel papers. All there is is a big "hole" for things to move around and get lost. My $40 Canon backpack (albeit smaller) has all these things. Tamrac doesn't seem to think that being organized is an important thing in the field. It tries to make up for the deficiency by supplying one small zipper bag for the big "hole"

I'm keeping the bag. But, I plan to make modifications to make up for Tamrac's lack of foresight.

I've taken this bag all over the world now, likely 30,000 miles or more. I first got it for a trip to South Africa where I needed something discreet for valuable camera and astronomy equipment. I've been everywhere since then as well, and this bag is ALWAYS with me. It fits on its side in most overhead carry on spaces, and in a pinch and if you don't have the top compartment overstuffed, you can put this under the seats on most planes (the top collapses down). I've traveled with this as my only bag as well. Equipment in the bottom, and clothes in the top. I've hiked to 13000' with it, and I've used it for short family trips. If I need a tripod with me, I just sling a Benro Travel Angel to the bottom.

I have about zero complaints about it. However, a few things could be improved a little. The waterproof compartment isn't completely waterproof (the back isn't plastic, just the front, so if you get soaked in the Rockies like I did, the stuff at the very bottom will get a tiny bit wet (not soaked, just a little wet on the edges). I don't really use the flash card compartments too much. Finally, it's a little difficult to reduce the size of the lower compartment, although possible. Other than that, this is one of my all time best buys!

XTHC60 by "xit" This case is very nice and large enough for my camera equipment plus it holds my laptop underneath all of the cushions. I love it. Especially since I can get it through security and carry it on the airplane. The extension of the handle and the wheels makes it even nicer.

Not a bad looking case, mine came dented on a corner, but I'll do worse to it than that I'm sure. Take the time to lay out your stuff before you start ripping the foam, and it works fine. Not good hinges, I don't expect them to last. Locks are flimsy, wont stand up to much abuse. If you're looking for a nice looker to keep your stuff together this will work, hopefully longer than I think it will.

Very nice case at a reasonable price. Would recommend this item to anyone that has a need to carry items that require protection from everyday handling.

It isn't a Haliburton, but it gets the job done. Super sized for two bodies, three lenses and full flash system, plus accessories. My only complaint is that when it lies open it wobbles because of the wheels. No biggie.

This Zeikos ZE-CA48B camera bag is roomy. There's room for an average-size camera and lenses (but not for lenses that are too long). Check the measurements (the "product dimensions") for this bag and calculate your needs accordingly for your particular camera and if you have extra lenses for your camera. I could put my Canon Powershot S2 camera in the bag and, since I don't have any extra lenses, I could also put my Flip camcorder and my other relatively smaller older Canon Powershot A60 camera in the bag. This bag would be too big for only one simple point-and-shot camera unless if you also have a lot of other accessories to put in the bag along with the camera. There are two side compartments that could be used to store extra batteries, cables, and other doodads. There is a net-mesh pocket on the outside-back of the bag and also on the outside of one of the side compartments.

The zippers are okay and seem fine to me. Another review here didn't like the zippers. I don't know what bag that other reviewer got but that reviewer seemed to be all worked up about the zippers on the bag that he got. Maybe he simply had bad luck with the bag that he bought. Anyways, the zippers on the bag that I bought were fine and did not seem to be weak. The Zeikos retail sales tag that was on the bag said the bag has a lifetime guarantee. And so the manufacturer apparently stands behind the quality of the bag including the zippers. The zippers seem fine to me.

I like this bag. This bag is well made and inexpensive. The bag is made in China not that it matters but that helps to explain the inexpensive price for this bag which I got for a little over six bucks plus S&H (for a total cost of over eleven bucks for me). Check the different Amazon sellers who sell this bag to find the different prices that they offer this bag for.

I'm posting a video with this review to give a bit of a look at the bag that I bought here via Amazon. I don't work for Amazon or Zeikos or the third-party Amazon marketplace seller (Ace Photo Digital) who I bought the bag from. I'm just someone who wanted to get a new but inexpensive camera bag. Thanks for reading and viewing this review.

At ten dollars, this camera is great value for money. It is as good, if not better than, fifty dollar camera bag from Canon. I use it for video camera Canon HV-20. The Zeikos bag has 2 adjustable compartments, and I use one for charger and one for the camera. Most other bags, including Canon, have just one big compartment where it is hard to squeeze in camera and the charger. Two zippered side pockets can be used for mini DV tapes, remote and memory cards but are too small for extra battery. The back pocket can also be used for thin objects like memory card, manual etc. Construction appears sturdy but padding could be thicker. Shoulder strap and handle work well. Overall, excellent value for money.

Best Deals for Zeikos ZE-CA48B Deluxe Soft Medium Camera and Video Bag

I purchased this camera bag for my Canon Powershot SX20IS Digital Camera with 20x zoom. It fits nicely in the bag, along with the lens hood, battery charger and extra batteries in a separate zippered compartment. Very compact, yet plenty of room for the camera and extras. Two small side compartments that have no way to secure so are basically worthless for anything of value. Has a belt loop, handle, and shoulder strap. The camera case might be a little too bulky to loop through your belt. I have returned 2 other bags that did not fit my camera well before I found this little gem.

Honest reviews on Zeikos ZE-CA48B Deluxe Soft Medium Camera and Video Bag

I purchased it for a Canon Rebel 3Ti and it fits nice and cozy with its standard 18-55 lens placed on the body and an extra lens (I have my Canon EF-S 55-250mm). Side zip pockets have room for some UV filters, a spare battery, and spare SD cards. It's a quality bag for the price and it does the job. It looks small, but if you make good use of space, it can fit a lot of stuff.

Like I said great starter bag for a DSLR Camera, if you need to carry more than what I specified then I wouldn't recommend it.

It fits my canon t3i w/ stock 18-55mm lens plus a 55-250mm IS telephoto lens perfectly. Padding is pretty good. Good materials. lightweight, which is what many amateur photographers want who don't own a lot of lens.

Lowepro seems to be getting better, as this is the best i have seen so far.

The colour Gray/polar blue is a nice combo.

If you like the quick access of the slingshot, this has it.

If you like the comfort of a backpack, this has it.

If you like Domke for its mild padding, this has it. although the lower compartment is heavily padded. Top section has no padding, which is what i like about it. It does not have that boxy look.

It looks like a normal everyday backpack, but is very versatile

One strange thing though, Lowepro claims it is not for a DSLR with grip, but yet my D90 with grip and 17-55/2.8 lens fits comfortably.

Keep in mind it is a backpack camera bag, maybe not as roomy or easy loading as a top-load shoulder bag but it is a great bag for long walking trips or mountain hikes. I use a Canon 50D with Canon 18-200 lens attached and it fits just fine on one side leaving the center and other side for two other lenses, and flash and room to spare. I keep a short tripod strapped underneath and the tall tripod carrier works great for trekking poles. ;) The cargo compartment is plenty big enough for a couple of bottles of water, lunch and probably a souvenir or two.

Did a TON of research on backpacks before taking my Canon 40D on a trip to Europe last summer. this backpack is astounding in what it can carry and how easy it is to use. It's the only backpack with hip straps I found that also allows you to get the camera out without removing the entire backpack from your shoulders. Super helpful. Holds a ton of stuff. Doesn't look like a camera bag.

I brought this bag too carry my Nikon D-90 with accessories when hiking up mountains(small). First thing I notice was it did not have enough padding for the side that hits your back and the base of the bag if bumped on the ground. It also did not have ample room for the size my camera. If you carry a small point and shoot camera with food and water and cell phone and such its ok. But than it would cost too much. I guess I need a more specialized bag.

There's not alot of reviews available for this product. I specifically wanted to know if my D800 would fit with my 28-300 lens attached. It's a perfect fit. The bag is good quality (it should be for the price I paid) and it seems to be a nice accessory for my D800. For a camera that costs $3000, you definitely need something that protects the camera and at the same time is convenient to carry.

I chose to get the 24-70 lens with my D800 and wanted to get this case as well. The 24-70 is a pretty long lens (physically, not functionally) and I found conflicting information about whether or not the pair would fit. So I decided to order the case and see for myself.

In my opinion, the D800 with the 24-70 lens attached will not fit. There is velcro on the front of the case and on the flap. The velcro pads will barely make contact if you pull the flap down, but won't overlap 100% as they should and will eventually get pulled loose by the camera strap as you walk around.

I ended up returning the 24-70 for unrelated reasons and got the 24-120 instead. The D800 with the 24-120 lens fits perfectly in the case, as if the case were designed specifically for this combination.

Also, another reviewer said the "quality was "OK for fake leather" but it's made of real leather as far as I can tell, and the quality is definitely better than "OK."

Best Deals for Nikon CF-DC4 Semi-Soft Case for D800 Digital SLR

I held off purchasing this case because a Nikon chart indicated it would not fit the D800 with my Nikon 105mm f2.8 VR Lens.

It fits perfectly even with a UV filter installed on the lens and the rubber bumper inside the case.

Although the case cost me somewhat more than any previous Nikon case I'd say it's definitely worth the price to protect a $3000 camera.

Honest reviews on Nikon CF-DC4 Semi-Soft Case for D800 Digital SLR

it perfectly fit my D800 with Sigam 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM mounted and the quality is very good but a little more pricy than its quality .

After looking at seemingly hundreds of camera daypacks, I discovered Tenba @ Amazon. But which one to select? Remember Goldilocks & the three bears?

The Tenba Mini Photo Daypack is TOO SMALL, especially the iPad slot.

The Tenba Large Photo Daypack is way TOO BIG;

The Tenba Medium is JUST RIGHT, yet the least available:

good size camera/lens section;

good size, separate section for lunch, rain jackets, etc.

built-in section for a hydration bladder!

chest & waist belts for optimal weight distribution.

I loved this bag when it arrived and was so excited to use it on a long vacation/business trip where I needed to be able to carry some work items along with my camera. The design is excellent, and I anticipated loving this bag for many years to come. Unfortunately, it showed quite a bit of wear and tear in the stitching within a few days of use. The elastic on the rain cover (brilliant feature) wasn't stitched on properly, so there's a gap in coverage when I put it over the bag. The grab strap is split near the stitching. There are a few other places around the zippers, etc. where the stitching is uneven and looks like it may unravel or split in the future. I find myself reluctant to use the bag because I don't want to damage it further.

I haven't yet contacted the company due to time constraints, but I plan to. I am hopeful that my particular bag was just poor quality control because I really do want to love and use this style of bag for many years!
