I needed a case for my Canon S2 and bought this one. It does a great job. I keep the following in my case:

Canon S2 with Lensmate 58mm adapter attached

Adapter End Cap

2 58mm Hoya Filters (In filter case)

Canon CBK4-200 Rechargeable Battery and Charger Kit

AMBICO V-0615 Extendable Mini Tripod

Sima Lens Pen

Lens Cleaning Cloth

Spare Memory Card

Hope this helps all you S2 buyers.

Originally purchased a LowePro TLZ Mini for an Olympus 2100UZ based on recommendations at [another website]. The TLZ was well constructed, but, in my opinion, camera compartment seemed too large to adequately support/protect the camera. Decided to keep looking.

Discovered the Tamrac Digital Series 6 bag during an online bag search and ordered it. Seemed like it would be a better fit based on Tamrac website info despite other opinions posted below. The Tamrac is a little smaller and, to me, a better fit for the camera than the LowePro. It appears that I can store the camera and an A200 teleconverter in the bag. Didn't anticipate this. Camera can be stored in the bag on it's back (LCD on the bottom) or opposite direction (LCD on the top). I would expect to do the latter with the A200 stored at the bottom of the bag alongside the lens barrel.

However, the Tamrac does not have the structural rigidity of the LowePro and amount of padding is noticeably less. Four elasticized loops exist in the inside of the front pocket for battery storage, rather than separate pockets for smartmedia storage and battery storage, as pictured on the bag at the Tamrac website. Not pleased with the fit of the bag flap when flap is fastened down and carry handle is used to carry the bag. Big gap exists, roughly 1.5", between bottom of bag flap and top of camera further emphasizes limpness of this bag compared to the LowePro.

Tamrac fit is better for the 2100UZ, but LowePro construction is better. Anticipated on keeping the Tamrac, until I saw the LowePro Nova Mini when I returned the LowePro TLZ Mini. Decided to get the Nova Mini and I've been very pleased. Like the construction and rigidity of all LowePro bags. The Nova Mini is a little larger, but camera is safer and I can carry AC adaptor and A/V cables that I previously couldn't.

Bought this for my Canon Powershot S2 IS and it's a great snug fit. Love the double latching system (both a latch and velcro). Feels very sturdy and well padded. Lots of carrying options: strap, belt strap, and padded handle. Lots of little pockets for accessories, can hold up to two sets of 4 AA batteries. Plenty of space for extra cards, cables, lens cleaning pen. I haven't gotten my Lens adapter and telephoto adapters for the PowerShot S2 yet. I hope that they'll fit though.

I picked up the lens adapter for the Canon S1 which increased the dimensions of the camera. This Tamrac case is the perfect match for it and I am able to carry 3 extra memory cards, an extra set of 4 AA batteries as well as a cleaning pen and an audio/video cable.

The top down storage of the camera also makes for fast removal/storage.

Excellent design and quality.
