I lost the original pouch to my digital camera and no longer had a means to protect the camera. This hard shell carry case was different in design from the original camera pouch, but seemed to be a good way to store and protect the digital camera as I carried the camera with me. As soon as I received the Vivitar HSC4 Hard Shell Carrying Case, I placed my digital camera inside of the case; and, the camera fit perfectly. Once again, I can safely carry my digital camera with me while traveling. I recommend this product!This case perfectly fit my Vivtar with plenty of room for about 5 or 6 memory disks. Could not be happier with this case if it came wrapped in gold.
