I purchased this bag for a consumer-oriented Sony minDV HD camcorder. The recent model camcorder is quite small so there's a lot of room inside the bag for the camera plus accessories, plus tapes. Easy to use and seems to be well made. You'll never be inconspicuous using this bag but at least you'll know if it "walks away."

This is a very well made bag and nice appearance as far as style is concerned. Lowepro is high quality and they make great bags, but they missed the mark with this one.

While the open out (think glove box in your car) compartment could be a very handy way to access your camera vs. the usual zipped and flapped compartment, this bag is very inefficient in its use of space.

The exterior pockets hold little to nothing, and todays digital cameras and camcorders require cables galore and chargers. What about lens cleaning and other accessories. Where to put them in this bag? It will hold memory cards.

There are no storage compartments in the lid, like with other LowePro bags. The main storage compartment could use more than one adjustable divider to make best use of its available space.

The LowePro Edit bags have the same numbering system as the Clips bags. The larger the number, the bigger the bag. My recommendation is to stick with the Edit Bags. They make better use of pockets and space.

BTW, Amazon's website incorrectly listed (larger than actual size) the interior and exterior dimensions on this Clips 140 bag.

This is a nice bag, good quality. BUT Looks much larger in the picture than it really is. Make sure you look at the dimensions carefully before you buy. I have a small Canon Vixia HV30, and I have trouble getting it in the bag. Forget about putting other accessories in the bag. For the money I thought it should have been a bit larger.

I just bought this bag for the Canon Powershot G2 ...

Though another reviewer made an excellent point in saying that apart from batteries and 1 or 2 extra memory cards it won't fit much accesories, the main reason I bought this bag is for optimal protection of the camera itself, and only secondly for transportation...Other points:

the opening is nice and large, though not in a way that the camera might fall out...With this design I think it will be easy to get the camera out when you need to.

The material looks and feels excellent. The inside material is very soft and padded for excellent protection of the camera.

One of the crucial things to me to choose this bag is the All Weather Cover. A 'jacket' that is nicely tucked away in the bottom-back of the camera, that you can pull out and nicely fits around the front and sides of the bag. It may seem a little tight (it has an elastic part on the top) but think about it: the looser it'll fit, the less weather protection it will offer.

A very nice bag for a very reasonable price...

I bought this bag for my Nikon Coolpix 4500. It's perfect. The cushioned bag protects the camera from possible bumps and falls, plus it is weather proof. In addition to the camera, I pack the following accessories with no problem: extra compact flash card, Nikon's MC-EU1 cable release, Nikon's lcd viewing hood, extra battery, and a lens cleaning pen.

The back has an extremely strong velcro belt strap. Two rings accommodate an adjustable shoulder strap (which I leave off). I use the 4500-strap through the side of the 2-zippered cover.

All in all, the highest quality, function, and design for a camera the size of the Coolpix 4500.

I purchased this bag for my Sony DSC-S70. It's a great case for large/awkward-shaped digtial cameras. It holds two memory sticks and an extra battery. The inside is lined with a soft, felt-like material with does not scratch the LCD displays. There's plenty of padding. On the bottom of this bag, there's a hide-away waterproof hood that covers the entire bag.

This is my third Lowepro camera bag for all the other camera I had in the past and now. This looks good and very well made inside and out. I bought this one in particular for my Canon SX210 IS. I am looking for something that would fit other things like batteries, memory cards, USB cable, charger, lens clenaer, etc. Well, there is a separate compartment for the memory and batteries. The main compartment is too big for my camera alone. I wished it had one of those dividers with velcro that you can move around. My previous Lowepro's have this on them. With this one, I can't put my other accessories as it might scratch my LCD. It is a very good camera bag, just make sure it is the right size for your camera. This camera would accomodate a small SLR camera.

I bought a Sony DSC-HX30V around Christmas time and needed a case to go with it. This has proven to be a great product as this fits my camera and a couple of small accessories very nicely. I can even stash a few dollars and ID/license in and use it as a "purse". The straps are adjustable and can be extended to wear cross-body or shortened to quickly throw it over the shoulder or, it can be removed altogether and the case can be tucked into a larger bag. Additionally, the case is not a hard plastic, but it's somewhat firm. I've not dropped my camera while using this case, but it seems like it would provide some protection if I happen to. Great buy!!

The shell is sturdy and the outer material seems to be of high quality and water proof (though I haven't tested it in water yet :) ).

The back side of the shell has a soft interior which prevents mild strokes damages, but the front side of the shell lacks softness and I'm worried about it.

Also despite there is a little space in the inner front side to put extra stuff in, but as I said previously, lack of soft material makes it even more risky for the camera in case of collapsing on the front side.

I hadn't found a better option at the time of purchase, so I've to stick to this for now.

I really like the case; it fits my Cannon D3100 SLR camera perfectly. I do not remember the description indicating that the closure is Velcro. However, it is a very strong Velcro and works good. I bought a similar case with snaps and the snaps stopped working properly within a few months. The Velcro used seems to be a more durable closure.

Also, I like how slim the case is. It does not give the most protection but I love that it is not bulky and I can throw the camera into a bag and know it is protected.

I do not like that the Velcro is double sided so one side is exposed. I will have to be careful to not snag my clothes.

I would recommend the case.

I can't give it 5 tires because there is a problem which I didn't have with another compact backpack I bought from kata the dr-461 which has served me for yearsvery well I might add. If you have a pro body like the D300/D700/D800 be warned that it will not fit. This one is made for smaller bodies meaning entry level dslr like the D3100, D5000 etc. You might squeeze in a prosumer/mid range dslr like a D90 which I did but the velcro strip will missalign and it will not be a perfect fit. Otherwise the bag is very good contruction.

Pros: this bag was perfect for my equipment easily storing my nikon D90 with a wrist strap and tripod quick mount. I also have a SB-700 speedlight, 50mm prime, and 18-200 VR lense in this bag. there is room for my charger, cables, and cleaning supplies, flash accessories, and even my rugged point and shoot with its cables. I like how compact this bag is for carrying as much equipment as it manages.

Cons: the only issue I have with this bag is that the tripod straps do not work for my tripod (it won't slide down far enough to be stationary. I plan on adding buckles to their design to work with my equipment. this is minor since it is more of an issue with my exact tripod than an actual major design flaw. I would also like for it to have an exterior mesh pocket for a drink, the images show a drink pocket but there is not one on the bag itself. only the higher number gearpacks have the drink pouch.

It's a good looking bag. I can carry my Canon 60 D with a 28-135 mm lens in the horizontal position. This is how I like to grab my camera out of the bag. Room for a flash and a wide angle lens. Spare battery and small accessories will fit. My Apple Airbook 13 inch does fit too.

The bag is classy looking. I would like more choice of interior configurations the supplied dividers limit the choice in this regard. That said, I can fit what I need to in it and it seems to be quite nice to carry around.

I purchased this bag for the Canon S2 IS. (Normally, that camera would be a bit small for such a bag. However, I've added a converter that makes the camera too big for most other digicam bags.) The interior is large and roomy and made from a soft and (apparently) scratch-free fabric. There are no compartments within that interior. However, since it is designed for an oversized point and shoot, film SLR or smallish DSLR (e.g. Canon Digital Rebel) that's probably a good thing. If you place the camera in LCD side down, it should fit with a reasonable size lens attached. On the exterior sides, there are no pockets just rings for the adjustable and comfortably long shoulder strap that is included. On the back of the back is a large loop attachable by Velcro that can be strapped to a belt or larger bag. In the front is an accordion-style pocket with two smaller cargo-style pockets inside. Those smaller pockets are just large enough for a CF card to fit snugly inside. It's a top-loading bag whose top covers both that exterior pocket and the interior. It closes with a clasp not a zipper.

I experienced some problems that caused me to buy an additional bag. First, if you aren't careful when closing the top, it may bunch leaving the sides of the interior compartment slightly exposed. (I noticed this when a loose SD card fell out one of the sides.) Second, the exterior pocket is too small to hold the accessories I had, i.e. two filters, two SD cards, an external flash and four extra AA batteries. If you can stick to keeping only the camera (and an attached lens or converter) in the interior pocket and have very few extras in the outer pocket, this would make a good travel bag. If you have several loose accessories as I did, try a zippered bag with lots of outer pockets.

This TLZ 10 camera bag is a perfect fit for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 12.1MP Digital SLR Camera with Lumix G Vario 14-45 mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH Mega OIS Lens (Black) as well as for the older Minolta A2 and A200 cameras. It is probably a bit short for the Panasonic DMC-GH1 12MP Four Thirds Interchangeable Lens Camera with 1080p HD Video due to the longer 14-140mm lens that ships with the GH1.

The TLZ 10 bag is smaller than the Lowepro Topload Zoom Mini Camera Bag (Black). In addition, it has two pouches inside the front pocket that conveniently hold extra batteries and memory cards. The TLZ Mini lacks these pouches but does have a somewhat larger front pocket than the TLZ 10.

I purchased this bag as a minimal bag for my Nikon D50 with a short prime lens on it (either a 35mm f/2 or 50mm f/1.8). While I was a little worried that the D50 would be too big, it just fits (along with a Lowepro strap), thanks to the stretchiness of the bag's material. I use this bag when I'm going somewhere and I know I don't need any other accessories; just the camera and a single lens. I think the D50 is about the largest DSLR that could fit in this bag. I think the newer low end (D60, D40, D5000, D3000, etc) Nikon DSLRs would fit better, as they're a little smaller. Anything larger than a D50 would be either too tall or too wide to fit in the bag lens-down. Also, when being used with a Nikon DSLR, a short prime lens is about all you can fit in here. Even the 18-55mm makes things a little tight. I also don't use the front pocket, since I wouldn't be comfortable putting anything in there given how tight the fit is already.

This bag is just what I was looking for, taking into account that I was expecting just a simple bag for just the camera and attached lens that can easily attach it to my belt (or onto a bigger Lowepro bag, although all my bigger bags have a spot for the camera as well). I also like that it has the SlipLock attaching strap rather than a belt loop; I always feel a little funny getting out of the car and taking off my belt just to put a camera bag on it. With this bag, the velcro strap makes it easy to get on and off, and it's very secure. While I haven't used it, the included shoulder strap seems nice. I was impressed that the attachment loops on the bag and the clips on the strap are made out of metal, instead of plastic. Better quality than I expected for a $17 bag.

The only thing that would have been nice would have been an AW cover, but since this is a lower end bag, it's not surprising that it doesn't. The material has done well to keep misting-type rain out when I've run into some light precipitation.

All in all, a good bag for a small DSLR as long as you expect a tight fit and don't want to carry all of your accessories in it.

I bought the bag for a 7D plus two zoom and a 50 lens. Lots of pockets for safe storage of accessories. As a carryon bag for travel it gives excellent protection for cameras and lenses. I gave it four stars for this. It misses five because storing two lenses and a camera with the 50 lens attached takes great thought and creativity. Needs more detachable pads. Also the black interior and narrow top opening make it difficult to store items and find them in a hurry. Grey pads would be a good upgrade. The security flap is an excellent idea, especially as it leaves one free pocket for tickets, passport etc. This free pocket rides against the body giving extra protection. Don't even consider this for a trip with frequent shooting and action shots. A swing around back-pack would be the shot. Plane, car or bus trip--excellent value.

Santa brought me a Canon Vixia HF100 for Christmas and I've been searching for a compact case that I could use to carry around just the camcorder & needed accessories. I really thought this case would be bigger based on the pictures but I was pleasantly surprised.

The camcorder fits snugly into the main pocket with the help of the adjustable divider. Besides the camera I also have the remote, an extra battery, AC battery charger & extra SD cards. I can even fit my Canon still camera into the side pocket so I can have them both available. I love it!

The case is constructed of canvas with a slightly plastic feel to it. It holds it's shape well and has a good amount of padding around the center cavity. Overall it feels steady & solid. I highly recommend this as carry case for compact & flash-based camcorders.

Paul Q's reveiew was right. Don't let the image on your monitor fool you. This case is SMALL. And even if it has a 'spec' of around 5-6 inches, it narrows-down so much at the bottom, and with all the paddding and side pockets, all you get in the interior bottom portion of the case is a 2X4 inch usable section. I'd be surprised if they make a camcorder that would fit inside, but I guess they do. But to me, it looks like I'd barely get a flat, medium sized digital camera to fit inside. Yes, it's a real nice case. However, just don't expect to fit very much inside.

Compact case that gives substantial protection. I feel like my camera is very safe in this pouch and use it when I travel. The detachable strap is nice because it gives me the option to carry it alone or to throw it into a bigger bag. The case is not slim, but it is not overly bulky it is what you would expect from this amount of protection for your camera. My Canon Powershot SX200 IS fits perfectly in this case. There is a small internal pouch that fits a spare battery perfectly, although things tend to fall out of this little pouch. The blue color looks identical to the image. Only issue I have with this case is that the velcro closure gets stuck to the wrist strap of my camera and has caused that to fray slightly a minor inconvenience that is avoided as long as I pay attention when I put my camera away. All in all, great bag definitely recommend it!

This pouch fits my Canon Powershot SX130 IS perfectly! I was worried because all the pouches I looked at said that they fit cameras that were the same size as mine, but the measurements were too small. This pouch fits better than I imagined it would! When I first pulled out the pouch, I thought "there is no way this is going to fit!" The top is elastic though, so it worked out. I also have enough room to carry around extra memory cards in the large section, and two extra AA batteries in the smaller pocket. I would definitely buy this again!

True, it's bigger than their one they call medium, but it's too small for my Canon G-15, which is only 4.25 inches wide and less than 3" tall. This is really only big enough for a camera 4" wide and just over 2" tall. The description says the pouch is 5.5 inches wide. In reality, it's 5" wide, on the outside. Calling it "large" and overstating its dimensions lead me to buy it. At 64% off, it looks like Amazon may be discontinuing it. Maybe I will give it to someone with a smaller camera.
