This little case isn't hi-tech, doesn't claim to have mega storage space, and isn't packed with gel-molded camera fits. But, it's a great little case if you need something for a trip to the park or to the beach. If you want something for occasionally taking the camera out and about, this is a great buy!

Because it isn't a hard shell case, you still need to take care when lugging it around with you. Of course, it protects from scratches and light moisture, but if you're looking for a rugged case this is NOT your case. The description of this item is a "Hard Shell" and the only thing I can figure is that since it keeps its shape when the camera is not in use, that technically someone has called it a hard shell. Not exactly true: I can easily bend the exterior, so it's definitely not hard plastic and you should know that if that's the kinda thing you are looking to buy.

For me, this works perfectly and the reality of what it can and cannot do did not disappoint. I like that it is a simple case small, but also has a small inside pocket for extra SD cards. Its perfect and compact size lets me just slip it in to my purse and I know it won't get damaged if the camera rubs up against my keys or phone or something else in there. But, I'd definitely still keep it in my purse because it doesn't have my full trust behind it.

We've had two of these for one and the same camera. The only reason we had to buy the second one was because our relative's dog chewed the other one apart...however, THAT'S why we got another one: the Canon SD1000 inside of it only had one small dent in it...the case protected the camera so well that we still use the same camera years later. It's a tough little case--if your camera fits inside it, it's worth WAY MORE than the money you pay for it.

A nice feature inside the case is a little pouch for an extra battery...very handy. I'd like to see a small velcro for the pocket just to secure the battery a bit better, or make the pocket longer.

Also, the zipper is built to last.

I like this case, it fits my Canon SD780IS camera perfectly.

It is really only for ultra-compact point-and-shoot cameras so if you've got something small get this case! It's at a bargain price!
