The case fits the Nex 6 camera well. It is some sort of vinyl with a little padding. The workmanship is very good for the price. I did not give it five stars because the fit is not perfect: the back bulges a little away from the camera, especially with the eye cup installed on the viewfinder, and the sides of the camera are not completely covered. However, the camera is still well protected from bumps. It is definitely NOT water tight and additional protection would be needed in rain. Given the reasonable price, I consider this a very good value and would purchase it again.

I like the case.It's aesthethically pleasing and doesn't impede with the usage of the camera but only if you have the 18-55 mm lenses.I have the 55-210 and no way these can fit anymore.The lower half can still stay but for the lenses portion,I have to keep it detached if I have my bigger lenses on.You still have to remove the case if you want to get to your memory card (annoying).
